Chapter on the Impure Person Passing through the Mosque Without Staying
باب الجنب يمر في المسجد مارا ولا يقيم فيه
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 4323
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, the doors of the Companions' houses used to open towards the mosque. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Change the doors of your houses from the mosque." Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went home, and the people did not change the doors of their houses hoping that perhaps he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) might grant them permission. Then he came to them and said: "Change the doors of these houses from the mosque. I do not allow the mosque for menstruating women and those experiencing postnatal bleeding."

(٤٣٢٣) حضرت عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) آئے تو صحابہ کے گھروں کے دروازے مسجد کے طرف کھلتے تھے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : گھروں کے دروازوں کو مسجد سے تبدیل کر دو ۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) گھر چلے گئے تو لوگوں نے اس امید پر گھروں کے دروازوں کو تبدیل نہ کیا کہ شاید آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) رخصت دے دیں۔ پھر آپ ان کے پاس آئے اور فرمایا : ان گھروں کے دروازوں کو مسجد سے تبدیل کرو۔ میں حائضہ اور جنبی کے لیے مسجد کو حلال قرار نہیں دیتا۔
4323 Hazrat Ayesha (Raz) farmati hain ki jab Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) aaye to sahaba ke gharon ke darwaze masjid ke taraf khulte thay Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: gharon ke darwazon ko masjid se tabdeel kar do Phir Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ghar chale gaye to logon ne is umeed par gharon ke darwazon ko tabdeel nah kia ki shayad Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) rukhsat de den Phir Aap un ke pas aaye aur farmaya: in gharon ke darwazon ko masjid se tabdeel karo main haiza aur junubi ke liye masjid ko halal qarar nahin deta
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Close all the doors (leading to the mosque) except the door of Abu Bakr."

(٤٣٢٤) حضرت عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ابوبکر (رض) کے دروازے کے علاوہ باقی تمام دروازے بند کر دو ۔
hazrat ayesha (raz) farmati hain keh nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : abu bakar (raz) ke darwaze ke alawa baqi tamam darwaze band kar do .
`Abdullah ibn Abbas, regarding Allah's statement, "And not [while] in a state of janabah, except [that you] may pass through [a mosque], until you have washed [your whole body]," [An-Nisa 4:43], said: "A person in a state of janabah should not approach prayer until he has performed ghusl (ritual bath), but a traveler may. He said that you should not enter the mosque in a state of janabah, unless you are just passing through, but you should not sit."

(٤٣٢٥) عبداللہ بن عباس اللہ تعالیٰ کے ارشاد ” وَلاَ جُنبًا اِلَّا عَابِرِیْ سَبِیْلٍ حَتّٰی تغتسلوا “ [النساء : ٤٣] کے متعلق فرماتے ہیں : جنبی آدمی بھی نماز کے قریب نہ جائے جب تک غسل نہ کرلے، مگر مسافر جاسکتا ہے۔ فرماتے ہیں کہ حالتِ جنابت میں تم مسجد میں داخل نہ ہو ہاں اگر آپ کا راستہ ہی ادھر سے ہو، لیکن آپ نہ بیٹھیں۔
(4325) Abdullah bin Abbas Allah taala ke irshad "wa la junban illa aabiri sabeelin hatta taghtasiloo" [alنسا : 43] ke mutalliq farmate hain : junbi aadmi bhi namaz ke qareeb na jaye jab tak ghusl na kar le, magar musafir ja sakta hai. Farmate hain ke halat e janabat mein tum masjid mein dakhil na ho haan agar aap ka rasta hi udhar se ho, lekin aap na baithen.
(4327) Abdullah bin Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to allow a Junub (person in a state of major ritual impurity) to pass through the mosque and would say: "But not a Junub except one who is passing through." (An-Nisa, verse 43). My understanding of this is that a Junub should not come near the prayer, except for a traveler.

(٤٣٢٧) عبداللہ بن مسعود (رض) جنبی شخص کو مسجد سے گزرنے کی رخصت دیتے تھے اور فرماتے : ” وَلاَ جُنبًا اِلَّا عَابِرِیْ سَبِیْلٍ “ (النساء آیت ٤٣) سے متعلق مجھے یہی علم ہے کہ جنبی آدمی نماز کے قریب نہ آئے، سوائے مسافر۔
4327 abdullah bin masood raz jinbi shakhs ko masjid se guzarne ki rukhsat dete thay aur farmate wala junban illa aabiri sabeel alnisa ayat 43 se mutalliq mujhe yahi ilm hai ki jinbi aadmi namaz ke qareeb na aaye siwae musafir
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding Allah's statement: {And not [legal to be touched] in a state of Janabah, except [in the case of] passing through [a place of prayer],} [An-Nisa: 43] said: A stranger should not come near the prayer [area] except a traveler, he may pass through but sitting is not right.

(٤٣٢٨) انس بن مالک (رض) اللہ کے ارشاد : { وَلاَ جُنبًا اِلَّا عَابِرِیْ سَبِیْلٍ } [النساء : ٤٣] کے متعلق فرماتے ہیں : اجنبی آدمی نماز کے قریب نہ آئے سوائے مسافر کے، وہ گزر سکتا ہے مگر بیٹھنا درست نہیں۔
Ans bin Malik (RA) Allah ke irshad : { wa la junban illa aabiri sabeel } [al-Nisa : 43] ke mutalliq farmate hain : ajnabi aadmi namaz ke qareeb na aaye siwae musafir ke, woh guzar sakta hai magar baithna durust nahi.
Abu Amr reported that he heard Ataa say that a menstruating woman and a woman in a state of impurity after sexual intercourse should not untie their braided hair or the hair of their sheep, and if necessary, a menstruating woman can pass through the mosque.

(٤٣٢٩) ابوعمرو بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے عطاء کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ حائضہ اور جنبی عورت اپنے گوندھے ہوئے بال اور مینڈھیوں کو نہیں کھولے گی اور مجبوری کی حالت میں حائضہ مسجد سے گزر سکتی ہے۔
(4329) abuamro bayan karte hain ki maine ata ko ye farmate huye suna ki haiza aur junubi aurat apne gondhe huye bal aur mendhiyon ko nahi kholegi aur majboori ki halat mein haiza masjid se guzar sakti hai.
