Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 13177
Amr bin Shu'aib narrated from his father, and he from his grandfather, that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned from the Battle of Hunayn, the people intended to ask him some questions. They surrounded his camel (for this purpose), and his cloak was caught by a tree. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Give me back my cloak. Do you fear that I will be stingy? If Allah Almighty were to give me wealth as much as the whole earth (combined), I would distribute it among you, and you would not find me stingy, cowardly, or a liar." Then he took some hair from the hump of the camel and said, "What is it to me that Allah Almighty gives me wealth and I withhold it? Even if its equivalent were to be Khums (one-fifth), it would be returned to you. Consider it obligatory to return even a needle and thread, for betrayal is a shame, a fire, and disgrace."

(١٣١٧٧) عمرو بن شعیب اپنے والد سے اور وہ اپنے دادا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) غزوہ حنین سے واپس لوٹے تو لوگوں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سوال کرنے کا ارادہ کیا۔ انھوں نے (اس غرض سے) اونٹنی کو گھیر لیا، آپ کی چادر درخت نے اچک لی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میری چادر مجھے لوٹا دو ۔ کیا تم ڈرتے ہو کہ میں بخل کروں گا، اگر اللہ تعالیٰ مجھے تہامہ جگہ (جتنا) مال فے دیتا تو میں تمہارے درمیان تقسیم کردیتا اور تم مجھے بخیل، بزدل اور جھوٹا نہ پاتے۔ پھر آپ نے اونٹ کی کوہان سے اون لی اور فرمایا : مجھے کیا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مال فے دے اور میں روک لوں۔ اگر اس کی مثل بھی خمس ہو تو وہ بھی تم پر لوٹا دیا جائے گا، تم دھاگا اور سوئی لوٹانا فرض سمجھو اس لیے کہ خیانت عار، آگ اور رسوائی ہے۔
Amr bin Shoaib apne walid se aur wo apne dada se riwayat karte hain ke jab Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Ghazwa Hunain se wapas lautے to logon ne aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se sawal karne ka irada kiya. Unhon ne (iss gharz se) untni ko gher liya, aap ki chadar darakht ne uchak li to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : meri chadar mujhe lauta do. Kya tum darte ho ke main bakhil karoon ga, agar Allah Ta'ala mujhe tamam jagah (jitna) maal ataa farma de to main tumhare darmiyan taqseem kar dunga aur tum mujhe bakhil, buzdil aur jhoota na pao ge. Phir aap ne unt ki kohan se oon li aur farmaya : mujhe kya hai ke Allah Ta'ala maal ataa farma de aur main rok loon. Agar iss ki misl bhi khums ho to wo bhi tum par lauta diya jaye ga, tum dhaga aur sui lautana farz samjho iss liye ke khiyanat aar, aag aur ruswai hai.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The spoils of war that Allah has given you are not lawful for me except for its equal share and besides the Khums (one-fifth) which is returned to you."

(١٣١٧٨) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو مال فئی اللہ نے تم کو دیا ہے وہ میرے لیے حلال نہیں ہے مگر اس کی مثل اور علاوہ ” خمس “ کے جو تم پر ہی لوٹایا جاتا ہے۔
(13178) Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : jo mal fai Allah ne tum ko diya hai wo mere liye halal nahi hai magar us ki misl aur alawa ” khums “ ke jo tum par hi lautaya jata hai.
Rafi' bin Khadij narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave one hundred camels each to Abu Sufyan bin Harb, Safwan bin Umayya, Uyaynah bin Hisn and Aqra' bin Habis and he gave less than that to Abbas bin Maradas. Then, he gave him the full hundred too.

(١٣١٨٠) رافع بن خدیج فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ابوسفیان بن حرب، صفوان بن امیہ، عیینہ بن حصن اور اقرع بن حابس کو سو سو اونٹ دیے اور عباس بن مرداس کو اس سے کم دیے۔ بعد میں اس کو بھی پورے سو دے دیے۔
Rafi bin Khadij farmate hain keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Abu Sufyan bin Harb, Safwan bin Umayya, Uyainah bin Hison aur Aqra bin Habis ko so so unt diye aur Abbas bin Murdas ko is se kam diye. Baad mein is ko bhi pure so de diye.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that when Allah, the Exalted, bestowed upon you the spoils of war from the tribe of Hawazin on the day of Hunayn, you began to give one hundred camels each to the people of your own tribe (Quraysh). At this, a man from the Ansar (helpers of Medina) said, "May Allah forgive His Messenger! You give to the Quraysh and leave us out, while our swords are still dripping with blood."
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "This news reached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he gathered the Ansar. He did not leave a single one of them behind. When they gathered, you (O Prophet), mentioned what had reached you from their side. Upon hearing this, the wise men among the Ansar said, 'O Messenger of Allah! Those of us who are wise did not say this. It was said by those who are new to Islam. They said, 'May Allah forgive His Messenger! You give to the Quraysh and deprive us, while our swords are still dripping with blood.'"
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I give to those who have recently left disbelief to win their hearts. Don't you like that people should return to their homes with wealth and that you return with Allah's Messenger to your homes?"
He said, "By Allah, what you are taking is better than what they are taking." They said, "Why not, O Messenger of Allah!" Then he said, "You will be put to trial severely after me, so be patient until you meet Allah and His Messenger. I will indeed be at the Haud (the Cistern in Paradise)."

(١٣١٨١) انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ جب آپ کو مال فے اللہ تعالیٰ نے عطا کیا جو ہوازن قبیلے کے مال میں سے حنین والے دن حاصل ہوا تو آپ نے اپنی قوم کے لوگوں کو سو سو اونٹ دینے شروع کردیے تو انصار میں سے ایک آدمی نے کہا : اللہ پاک اپنے رسول کو معاف کرے، آپ قریش کو دیتے ہیں اور ہم کو چھوڑ دیا ہے، یعنی محروم کردیا ہے اور ہماری تلواریں ابھی تک خون کے قطرے بہا رہی ہیں۔ انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ یہ بات نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تک پہنچ گئی، آپ نے انصار والوں کو جمع کیا۔ ان میں سے کسی ایک کو بھی پیچھے نہ چھوڑا۔ جب وہ جمع ہوگئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا جو آپ کو ان کی طرف سے بات پہنچی تھی تو انصار کے سمجھدار لوگوں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! جو ہم میں سے سمجھدار لوگ ہیں، انھوں نے یہ بات نہیں کی۔ یہ بات ان لوگوں نے کی ہے جو نئے نئے مسلمان ہوئے ہیں، انھوں نے کہا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے رسول کو معاف کرے، آپ قریش کو دیتے ہیں اور ہم کو محروم کردیا ہے؛ حالانکہ ہماری تلواروں سے ابھی تک خون بہہ رہا ہے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میں ان لوگوں کو دیتا ہوں جو کفر کو چھوڑ کر نئے نئے مسلمان ہوئے ہیں، تاکہ ان کی دل جوئی ہو، کیا تم یہ پسند نہیں کرتے کہ لوگ گھر مال لے کر جائیں اور تم اپنے گھروں کو اللہ کا رسول لے کر جاؤ۔ فرمایا : اللہ کی قسم ! جو تم لے کر جاؤ گے وہ اس سے بہتر ہے جو وہ لے کر جائیں گے، پھر انھوں نے کہا : کیوں نہیں، اے اللہ کے نبی ! پھر آپ نے فرمایا کہ تم میرے بعد سخت آزمائش میں ڈالے جاؤ گے، پس تم بس صبر کرنا، یہاں تک کہ تم اللہ اور اس کے رسول کو جا ملو، بیشک میں حوض پر ہوں گا۔
(13181) Anas bin Malik (RA) farmate hain ki jab aap ko maal fe Allah ta'ala ne ata kiya jo Hawazin qabeele ke maal mein se Hunain wale din hasil hua to aap ne apni qaum ke logon ko so so unt dene shuru kar diye to Ansar mein se ek aadmi ne kaha: Allah Pak apne Rasool ko maaf kare, aap Quresh ko dete hain aur hum ko chhod diya hai, yani mehroom kar diya hai aur hamari talwaren abhi tak khoon ke qatre baha rahi hain. Anas (RA) farmate hain ki yeh baat Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) tak pahunch gayi, aap ne Ansar walon ko jama kiya. In mein se kisi ek ko bhi peechhe na chhoda. Jab woh jama ho gaye to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya jo aap ko in ki taraf se baat pahunchi thi to Ansar ke samajhdaar logon ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Jo hum mein se samajhdaar log hain, unhon ne yeh baat nahin ki. Yeh baat un logon ne ki hai jo naye naye musalman hue hain, unhon ne kaha hai ki Allah ta'ala apne Rasool ko maaf kare, aap Quresh ko dete hain aur hum ko mehroom kar diya hai; halanki hamari talwaron se abhi tak khoon beh raha hai. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Main un logon ko deta hun jo kufr ko chhod kar naye naye musalman hue hain, taaki un ki dil joi ho, kya tum yeh pasand nahin karte ki log ghar maal le kar jayen aur tum apne gharon ko Allah ka Rasool le kar jao. Farmaya: Allah ki qasam! Jo tum le kar jaoge woh is se behtar hai jo woh le kar jayenge, phir unhon ne kaha: Kyon nahin, aye Allah ke Nabi! Phir aap ne farmaya ki tum mere baad sakht azmaish mein dale jaoge, pas tum bas sabar karna, yahan tak ki tum Allah aur us ke Rasool ko ja milo, beshak main hauz par hunga.
Narrated `Amr bin Taghlib: that some war booty came to the Prophet (ﷺ). He (ﷺ) gave to his own people and deprived others. It reached him that the people were objecting to that, so he (ﷺ) said: "I give to a man and leave (another) while I love him more than the one to whom I give. I give to those whose hearts have Rancor (Jaz` and Faz`) (i.e., hypocrisy) in them, and I entrust the one whom Allah has made indifferent (to worldly things). And `Amr bin Taghlib was among those who were not given." `Amr bin Taghlib said: "These words were dearer to me than red camels."

(١٣١٨٢) حضرت عمرو بن تغلب سے روایت ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس مال آیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی قوم کو دیا اور دوسروں کو محروم کردیا۔ آپ کو یہ بات معلوم ہوئی کہ لوگوں نے اس پر اعتراض کیا ہے تو آپ نے فرمایا : میں کسی آدمی کو دیتا ہوں اور کسی کو چھوڑ دیتا ہوں، جس کو میں محروم کرتا ہوں میں اس سے زیادہ محبت کرتا ہوں، اس کی نسبت جس کو میں دیتا ہوں، مال ان کو دیتا ہوں جن کے دل میں جزع فزع، بےصبری ہوتی ہے اور محروم ان لوگوں کو کرتا ہوں جن کے دل کو اللہ پاک نے بے پروا کردیا ہے، ان میں سے عمرو بن تغلب بھی تھے، عمرو بن تغلب فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے سرخ اونٹوں سے بھی زیادہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے یہ کلمے پیارے لگے تھے۔
(13182) Hazrat Amr bin Taghlib se riwayat hai keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pas mal aaya to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne apni qaum ko diya aur dusron ko mehroom kardiya. Aap ko yeh baat malum hui keh logon ne is par aitraz kiya hai to aap ne farmaya: mein kisi aadmi ko deta hun aur kisi ko chhor deta hun, jis ko mein mehroom karta hun mein us se ziada mohabbat karta hun, is ki nisbat jis ko mein deta hun, mal un ko deta hun jin ke dil mein juzv fuzu, besabri hoti hai aur mehroom un logon ko karta hun jin ke dil ko Allah Pak ne be parwah kardiya hai, un mein se Amr bin Taghlib bhi thay, Amr bin Taghlib farmate hain keh mujhe surkh oonton se bhi ziada Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke yeh kalme pyaare lage thay.
(13183) Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) sent a piece of gold from Yemen to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) divided it among four men: Aqra' bin Habis Hanthali, 'Uyainah bin Hisn Ghazaari, 'Alqamah bin Malaah 'Aamiri, and Zayd Khayl Ta'i. The chiefs of Quraysh became angry and said, "You give to the people of Najd but deprive us!" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I did this to win their hearts." A man came who had a thick beard, chubby cheeks, deep-set eyes, a broad forehead, and a bald head. He said, "O Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Fear Allah." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If I disobey Allah, then who obeys Him? He has made me trustworthy on earth, but you do not consider me trustworthy." Then that man went away. One of the people asked permission to kill him - and perhaps that man was Khalid bin Walid - but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Indeed, from his progeny will come people who will recite the Quran, but it will not go below their throats. They will kill Muslims and invite polytheists, and they will exit from religion like an arrow exits from the bow. If I were to find those people, I would surely kill them like the people of 'Aad."

(١٣١٨٣) ابوسعید خدری (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت علی (رض) نے یمن سے سونے کا ایک ٹکڑا نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی طرف بھیجا۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو چار بندوں میں تقسیم کیا، اقرع بن حابس حنظلی، عیینہ بن حصن غزاری، علقمہ بن ملاثۃ عامری اور زید خیل طائی میں تو قریش کے سردار ناراض ہوگئے۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ آپ نجد والوں کو دیتے ہیں لیکن ہم کو محروم کردیا ہے ! نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ یہ میں نے اس لیے کیا ہے تاکہ ان کی دل جوئی ہوجائے۔ ایک آدمی آیا جو گھنی داڑھی والا، پھولے ہوئے گال والا، دھنسی ہوئی آنکھوں والا، اٹھی ہوئی پیشانی والا، گنجے سر والا تھا۔ اس نے کہا : اے محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! اللہ سے ڈرو۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر میں اللہ کی نافرمانی کرتا ہوں تو اس کی اطاعت کون کرتا ہے ؟ اس نے مجھ کو زمین پر امین بنایا تم مجھے امین نہیں مانتے، پھر وہ آدمی چلا گیا۔ قوم میں سے ایک آدمی نے اجازت طلب کی کہ میں اس کو قتل کردوں اور شاید وہ آدمی خالد بن ولید تھے تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : بیشک اس کی نسل میں ایسے لوگ پیدا ہوں گے جو قرآن پڑھیں گے لیکن یہ ان کی ہنسلیوں سے نیچے نہیں اترے گا۔ اہل اسلام کو وہ قتل کریں گے اور بت پرستوں کو وہ دعوت دیں گے اور وہ دین سے اس طرح نکل جائیں گے جس طرح تیر کمان سے نکل جاتا ہے۔ اگر میں نے ان لوگوں کو پا لیا تو میں ان کو قوم عاد کی طرح ضرور قتل کردوں گا۔
(13183) Abusaid Khudri (RA) farmate hain ke Hazrat Ali (RA) ne Yemen se sone ka ek tukda Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki taraf bheja. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne usko char bandon mein taqseem kiya, Iqra bin Habis Hanzli, Uyaina bin Hisn Gazari, Alqama bin Malath Amri aur Zaid Khail Tai mein to Quresh ke sardar naraz hogaye. Unhon ne kaha ke aap Najd walon ko dete hain lekin hum ko mehroom kardiya hai! Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya ke yeh main ne is liye kiya hai taake un ki diljoyi hojaye. Ek aadmi aaya jo ghani darhi wala, phoole huye gaal wala, dhansi hui aankhon wala, uthi hui peshani wala, ganje sar wala tha. Usne kaha: Aye Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم))! Allah se daro. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Agar main Allah ki nafarmani karta hun to uski itaat kaun karta hai? Usne mujh ko zameen par ameen banaya tum mujhe ameen nahin mante, phir woh aadmi chala gaya. Qaum mein se ek aadmi ne ijazat talab ki ke main usko qatal kardoon aur shayad woh aadmi Khalid bin Waleed the to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Beshak uski nasal mein aise log paida honge jo Quran padhenge lekin yeh unki hansliyon se niche nahin utrega. Ahl Islam ko woh qatal karenge aur but paraston ko woh dawat denge aur woh deen se is tarah nikal jayenge jis tarah teer kaman se nikal jata hai. Agar main ne un logon ko pa liya to main un ko qaum Aad ki tarah zaroor qatal kardoon ga.
