Chapter: A Man Makes Another Man Stand from His Seat on Friday
باب الرجل يقيم الرجل من مجلسه يوم الجمعة
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5894
Nafi' reported from Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade that a person should make another person get up from his place and sit there himself, but you should spread out (and make space).

ْ ٥٨٩٤) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے منع فرمایا کہ ایک آدمی دوسرے کو اس کی جگہ سے اٹھائے اور خود بیٹھ جائے۔ لیکن تم وسعت اختیار کرو۔
5894) Nafi bin Umar (RA) se naql farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne mana farmaya ke ek aadmi dusre ko uski jaga se uthaye aur khud baith jaye. Lekin tum wusat ikhtiyar karo.
Nafi' narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "None of you should make another man get up from his place and then sit in his place." I (Nafi') said: "Did you (Ibn Umar) say this only about Friday (prayer)?" He (Ibn Umar) said: "(It is) for Friday and other (days)."

(٥٨٩٥) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تمہارا ایک بھائی اپنے بھائی کو اس کی جگہ سے نہ اٹھائے کہ پھر اس کا نائب بن جائے۔ میں نے کہا : کیا آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے جمعہ کے دن کے لیے فرمایا ؟ فرمایا : جمعہ اور غیر جمعہ دونوں کے لیے۔
(5895) Nafe Ibn Umar (RA) se naql farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Tumhara ek bhai apne bhai ko us ki jaga se na uthaye ke phir us ka nayab ban jaye. Maine kaha : Kya aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne juma ke din ke liye farmaya? Farmaya : Juma aur ghair juma dono ke liye.
(5896) (a) Narrated by Nafi' from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When there are three people, two of them should not whisper to each other, excluding the third, and no one should make someone else get up from their place and sit in it.
(b) Nafi' narrated it with the words "La yuqiman" or "La yuqimu".

(٥٨٩٦) (الف) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جب تین آدمی ہوں تو تیسرے کو چھوڑ کر دو مل کر سرگوشی نہ کریں اور نہ ہی کوئی آدمی کسی کو اس کی جگہ سے اٹھا کر خود بیٹھے۔
(ب) نافع نے لاَ یُقِیمَنَّ أَوْ لاَ یُقِیمُ کے لفظ بیان کیے ہیں۔
(5896) (alif) Nafi ibn Umar (RA) se naql farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : Jab teen aadmi hon to teesre ko chhor kar do mil kar sargoshi na karen aur na hi koi aadmi kisi ko us ki jaga se utha kar khud baithe.
(be) Nafi ne la yuqeemanna aw la yuqeemu ke lafz bayan kiye hain.
Salim reported from his father that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Let no man make another rise from his place and then sit down there himself." Salim said that when a place was vacated for Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, he would sit in it.

(٥٨٩٧) سالم اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کوئی آدمی کسی کو اس کی جگہ سے نہ اٹھائے کہ پھر خود اس جگہ بیٹھ جائے۔ سالم کہتے ہیں کہ ابن عمر (رض) کے لیے جب کوئی آدمی جگہ خالی کردیتا تو اس جگہ بیٹھ جاتے۔
Salem apne walid se naql farmate hain ke nabi ne farmaya : koi aadmi kisi ko uski jaga se na uthaye ke phir khud us jaga baith jaye. Salem kahte hain ke Ibn Umar ke liye jab koi aadmi jaga khali karta to us jaga baith jate.
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None of you should remove his brother from his place and then sit in his place, but rather you should say, 'Make room.'"

(٥٨٩٨) جابر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم میں سے کوئی اپنے بھائی کو اس کی جگہ سے نہ اٹھائے کہ خود جا کر اس جگہ بیٹھ جائے ، بلکہ یہ کہے کہ تم وسعت پیدا کرو۔
Jabir (rz) farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tum mein se koi apne bhai ko uski jagah se na uthaye ke khud ja kar us jagah baith jaye, balke ye kahe ke tum wusat paida karo.
