Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When you said to your companion, while the sermon was being delivered, 'Be quiet!' you (too) spoke in vain."

(٥٨٢٤) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جب تو نے (دوران خطبہ ) اپنے ساتھی کو کہا کہ خاموش ہوجا، تب بھی تو نے لغو بات کی۔
(5824) Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : Jab tune (dauran khutba) apne sathi ko kaha ki khamosh hoja, tab bhi tune lagu baat ki.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “If anyone says to his companion, while the Imam is delivering the Khutbah on Friday, ‘Keep silent!’, he has uttered Laghw (useless talk).”

(٥٨٢٥) ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جس نے جمعہ کے دن ساتھی سے کہا اور امام خطبہ دے رہا تھا کہ خاموش ہوجا تو اس نے لغو بات کی۔
(5825) Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai keh Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Jis ne juma ke din sathi se kaha aur Imam khutba de raha tha keh khamosh hoja to us ne lagu baat ki.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If anyone tells his companion to keep silent when the Imam is delivering the Khutbah, he has engaged in idle talk.”

(٥٨٢٦) ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت کرتے ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جب کوئی اپنے ساتھی سے خاموشی کا کہے اور امام خطبہ دے رہا ہو تو اس نے فضول بات کی۔
(5826) Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat karte hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : Jab koi apne saathi se khamoshi ka kahe aur Imam khutba de raha ho to usne fuzool baat ki.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When you tell your companion to be quiet while the Imam is delivering the Khutbah on Friday, then you have engaged in idle talk."

(5827) Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Jab tu Juma ke din apne saathi ko khamosh karwaye aur Imam khutba de raha ho to tu ne fuzool baat ki.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated a hadith similar to this one from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but he used the word "Lagheet". Ibn 'Uyainah said: "This is Abu Huraira's own wording."

(٥٨٢٨) ابوہریرہ (رض) نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے اسی کی مثل حدیث بیان کی، لیکن لفظ لغیت کا استعمال کیا ۔ ابن عیینہ فرماتے ہیں : یہ ابوہریرہ (رض) کی اپنی زبان ہے۔
(5828) Abu Hurairah (RA) ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se isi ki misl hadees bayaan ki, lekin lafz lughat ka istemaal kiya. Ibn e Aeenah farmate hain: yeh Abu Hurairah (RA) ki apni zaban hai.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you say to your companion, 'Keep silent!' on Friday (during the Khutbah) you have indeed indulged in idle talk. So, you should keep yourself busy in Dhikr."

(٥٨٣٠) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جب تو جمعہ کے دن اپنے ساتھی سے کہے کہ خاموش ہوجا تو تو نے فضول بات کی، صرف اپنے آپ کو روکے رکھ۔
(5830) Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Jab tu Juma ke din apne sathi se kahe keh khamosh hoja to tu ne fuzool baat ki, sirf apne aap ko roke rakh.
Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The people are of three types as regards the Friday prayer: The first one who attends it and indulges in play and amusement. This is the reward he gets (for his prayer). The second is one who attends it and supplicates Allah. He remains in that state, and if Allah wills, He grants him (his request), or if He wills. He withholds it from him. And the third one who attends it, observes silence, does not disturb anyone, and (remains busy in prayer). A reward equivalent to that of (the prayers of) one Friday to the other, rather more than that, i.e. three days more, will be recorded for him. This is because Allah, the Exalted, has said, “Whoever comes with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof (al-An’am: 160).

(٥٨٣١) عبداللہ بن عمرو (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تین قسم کے لوگ جمعہ میں حاضر ہوتے ہیں : ایک وہ جو حاضر ہوتا ہے اور فضول کام کرتا ہے یہ اس کا حصہ ہے۔ دوسرا جو دعا کی غرض سے حاضر ہوتا ہے وہ اللہ سے دعا کرتا ہے اگر اللہ چاہے تو اس کو عطا کر دے اگر چاہے تو روک لے۔ تیسرا وہ جو حاضر ہوا اور خاموش رہا نہ تو اس نے کسی مسلمان کی گردن کو روندا اور نہ ہی کسی کو تکلیف دی۔ اس کا اجر یعنی ایک جمعہ سے دوسرے جمعہ تک ، بلکہ تین دن زائد بھی اس کے گناہوں کا کفارہ ہے۔ یہی اللہ تعالیٰ کا فرمان ہے { مَنْ جَائَ بِالْحَسَنَۃِ فَلَہُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِہَا } [الأنعام : ١٦] جو ایک نیکی کرتا ہے اس کے لیے دس گنا ہے۔
(5831) Abdullah bin Amro (raz) farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Teen qisam ke log Jumma mein hazir hote hain: Ek woh jo hazir hota hai aur fuzool kaam karta hai yeh uska hissa hai. Dusra jo dua ki garz se hazir hota hai woh Allah se dua karta hai agar Allah chahe to usko ata kar de agar chahe to rok le. Teesra woh jo hazir hua aur khamosh raha na to usne kisi musalman ki gardan ko ronda aur na hi kisi ko takleef di. Uska ajr yani ek Jumma se dusre Jumma tak, balke teen din zaid bhi uske gunahon ka kaffara hai. Yahi Allah Ta'ala ka farman hai { Man ja'a bil hasanati falahoo ashru amthaliha } [Al-An'am: 16] jo ek neki karta hai uske liye dus guna hai.
Ata' bin Yasar narrated that Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I entered the mosque on Friday while the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was delivering the sermon. I sat down by the side of Ubayy bin Ka’b. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited Surat Al-Bara’ah. I asked Ubayy: ‘When was this Surah revealed?’ He kept quiet and did not speak to me. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished his prayer, I said to Ubayy: ‘I asked you a question but you turned away from me and did not speak to me.’ Ubayy bin Ka’b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: ‘You will only get from your prayer that which was in vain speech.’ I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, I was sitting beside Ubayy bin Ka’b, and you were reciting Surat Al-Bara’ah. I asked Ubayy: ‘When was this Surah revealed?’ He turned away from me and did not speak to me, then he said: “You will only get from your prayer that which was in vain speech.”’ The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘Ubayy spoke the truth.’”

(٥٨٣٢) عطاء بن یسار ابو ذر (رض) سے فرماتے ہیں کہ میں جمعہ کے دن مسجد میں داخل ہوا اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے۔ میں أبی بن کعب کے پاس بیٹھ گیا تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے سو رہ برأت پڑھی ۔ میں نے أبی سے پوچھا : یہ سورة کب نازل ہوئی ؟ وہ خاموش رہے اور مجھ سے کلام نہ کیا۔ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی نماز پوری کی تو میں نے ابی (رض) سے پوچھا : میں نے آپ سے سوال کیا تو آپ نے مجھے پیچھے کردیا اور مجھ سے بات نہیں کی۔ ابی بن کعب (رض) نے فرمایا : تیری نماز سے صرف جو فضول بات آپ نے کی یہی ملے گی۔ میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس گیا ۔ میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کی نبی ! میں أبی بن کعب کے پہلو میں بیٹھا ہوا تھا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سو رہ برأت پڑھ رہے تھے ۔ میں نے أبی بن کعب سے پوچھا : یہ سو رہ کب نازل ہوئی ؟ اس نے مجھے پیچھے ہٹا دیا اور کلام نہیں کی۔ پھر کہنے لگے : تیری نماز میں سے صرف فضول بات تیرے حصہ میں آئے گی تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : أبی بن کعب نے سچ کہا ہے۔
5832 Ataa bin Yasar Abu Zar (rz) se farmate hain ke main juma ke din masjid mein dakhil hua aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) khutba irshad farma rahe the. Main Ubbi bin Kab ke paas baith gaya to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Surah Bara'at parhi. Maine Ubbi se pucha: Yeh Surah kab nazil hui? Woh khamosh rahe aur mujhse kalaam na kiya. Jab Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne apni namaz puri ki to maine Ubbi (rz) se pucha: Maine aapse sawal kiya to aapne mujhe piche kardiya aur mujhse baat nahi ki. Ubbi bin Kab (rz) ne farmaya: Teri namaz se sirf jo fuzool baat aapne ki yahi milay gi. Main Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas gaya. Maine kaha: Aye Allah ke Nabi! main Ubbi bin Kab ke pahlu mein baitha hua tha aur aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Surah Bara'at parh rahe the. Maine Ubbi bin Kab se pucha: Yeh Surah kab nazil hui? Usne mujhe piche hata diya aur kalaam nahi ki. Phir kehne lage: Teri namaz mein se sirf fuzool baat tere hissa mein aye gi to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Ubbi bin Kab ne sach kaha hai.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that while the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was delivering the Friday sermon, Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) asked Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him), "When was this Surah revealed?" He did not reply. When they had finished the prayer, he said, "You will not get the reward of your prayer, only idle talk will be recorded for you." Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Ubayy has spoken the truth."

(٥٨٣٣) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ جس وقت نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جمعہ کا خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے تو ابو ذر (رض) نے أبی بن کعب (رض) سے کہا : یہ سورت کب نازل کی گئی ؟ انھوں نے جواب نہیں دیا۔ جب انھوں نے نماز پوری کی تو فرمایا : تمہیں نماز کا اجر وثواب نہیں ملے گا ، صرف لغو بات تمہارے کھاتے میں آئے گی۔ ابو ذر (رض) نے اس کا تذکرہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے کیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ابی بن کعب نے سچ کہا ہے۔
(5833) Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain ki jis waqt Nabi (SAW) juma ka khutba irshad farma rahe the to Abu Zar (RA) ne Ubayy bin Ka'b (RA) se kaha: Yeh surat kab nazil ki gayi? Unhon ne jawab nahi diya. Jab unhon ne namaz poori ki to farmaya: Tumhen namaz ka ajr o sawab nahi milega, sirf laghw baat tumhare khate mein aayegi. Abu Zar (RA) ne iska tazkira Nabi (SAW) se kiya to aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Ubayy bin Ka'b ne sach kaha.
