Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: A man came while the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was delivering the Khutbah (sermon) on Friday. He (the Prophet) asked, "O so-and-so! Have you prayed?" He said, "No." He (the Prophet) said, "Get up and pray."

(٥٨٣٨) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں : ایک شخص آیا اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جمعہ کے دن لوگوں کو خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پوچھا : اے فلاں ! کیا تو نے نماز پڑھی ہے ؟ اس نے کہا : نہیں ، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کھڑا ہو اور نماز پڑھ۔
(5838) Jabir bin Abdullah (RA) farmate hain : Aik shakhs aaya aur Nabi (SAW) juma ke din logon ko khutba irshad farma rahe the. Aap (SAW) ne pucha : Ae falan! kya tune namaz parha hai? Usne kaha : nahi, Aap (SAW) ne farmaya : khara ho aur namaz parh.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), people were facing a drought. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was delivering a sermon on the pulpit on Friday when a villager came and said: "O Messenger of Allah! The cattle have perished and the people are hungry, will you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pray to Allah?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) raised his hands and we did not even see a piece of cloud in the sky. By Allah! You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not lower your hands until clouds like mountains appeared in the sky. Then you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not get down from the pulpit until it started raining and its drops were falling from your (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) beard. So it rained that day and the next day, and even the day after that, until the next Friday. That villager or another man stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah! The houses have collapsed and the people are still hungry, will you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pray to Allah?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) raised his hands and said: "O Allah, turn it away from us." The narrator says: As soon as you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pointed your hand, the clouds cleared completely and Medina was cleared of clouds. The streams flowed for a month and whoever came from around Medina narrated about the rain.

(٥٨٣٩) انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے دور میں لوگوں کو قحط سالی کا سامنا تھا۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جمعہ کے دن منبر پر خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے ، ایک دیہاتی آیا : اس نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! مال تباہ ہوگئے اور لوگ بھوکے ہیں ، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ سے دعا کریں تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے ہاتھ اٹھالیے اور ہم نے آسمان پر بادل کا ٹکڑا بھی نہیں دیکھا تھا ۔ اللہ کی قسم ! آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہاتھ نیچے نہیں کیے کہ آسمان پر پہاڑوں کی ماند بادل پیدا ہوگئے۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) منبر سے نہیں اترے کہ بارش شروع ہوگئی اور اس کے قطرے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی داڑھی سے گر رہے تھے تو اس دن اور اگلے دن بارش ہوئی، اس سے اگلے دن بھی ۔ یہاں تک کہ دوسرے جمعہ تک۔ وہ دیہاتی یا کوئی دوسرا آدمی کھڑا ہوا اور کہنے لگا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! گھر گرگئے اور لوگ بھوکے رہے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ سے دعا کریں تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہاتھ اٹھائے اور فرمایا : اللہ اس کو ہم سے پھیر دے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہاتھ کا اشارہ کیا تو بادل بالکل صاف ہوگئے اور مدینہ بادلوں سے خالی ہوگیا اور ایک ماہ تک ندی نالے بہتے رہے اور جو بھی مدینہ کے گرد و نواح سے آتا وہ بارش کے بارے میں بیان کرتا۔
(5839) Anas bin Malik (RA) farmate hain ki Nabi (SAW) ke daur mein logon ko qehat sali ka samna tha. Nabi (SAW) juma ke din mimbar per khutba irshad farma rahe the, ek dehati aaya: usne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Mal tabah hogaye aur log bhooke hain, aap (SAW) Allah se dua karen to Nabi (SAW) ne apne hath uthaye aur humne aasman per badal ka tukda bhi nahi dekha tha. Allah ki qasam! Aap (SAW) ne hath neeche nahi kiye ke aasman per paharon ki manind badal peda hogaye. Phir aap (SAW) mimbar se nahi utre ke barish shuru hogayi aur uske qatre aap (SAW) ki dari se gir rahe the to us din aur agle din barish hui, usse agle din bhi. Yahan tak ke doosre juma tak. Woh dehati ya koi doosra aadmi khara hua aur kehne laga: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Ghar girgaye aur log bhooke rahe, aap (SAW) Allah se dua karen to Nabi (SAW) ne hath uthaye aur farmaya: Allah isko humse phir de. Rawi kehte hain: Aap (SAW) ne hath ka ishara kiya to badal bilkul saaf hogaye aur Madina badalon se khali hogaya aur ek mah tak nadi nale behte rahe aur jo bhi Madina ke gird o نواح se aata woh barish ke bare mein bayan karta.
`Abd al-Rahman ibn `Abd Allah ibn Ka`b reported that the group that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had sent to kill Ibn Abu al-Huqayq killed him and came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was delivering the sermon on the pulpit on Friday. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw them, he said, "Your faces have returned successful." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, we bring you good news." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Did you kill him?" They said, "Yes." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked for the sword with which he had been killed. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was still on the pulpit. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) smelled it and said, "This is the food of the edges of this sword." And among the group were `Abd Allah ibn `Aqil, `Abd Allah ibn Unays, Aswad ibn Khuza`i, who were their allies, and Abu Qatadah, according to the assumption of Zuhri, but Zuhri did not remember the name of the fifth.

(٥٨٤٠) عبد الرحمن بن عبداللہ بن کعب فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ گروہ جو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ابن ابو الحقیق کی طرف روانہ کیا تاکہ اس کو قتل کردیں۔ انھوں نے قتل کردیا اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جمعہ کے دن منبر پر خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے جب ان کو دیکھا تو فرمایا : چہرے کامیاب ہوگئے۔ انھوں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! آپ کو خوشخبری ہو۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پوچھا : کیا تم نے اس کو قتل کردیا۔ عرض کیا : ہاں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے تلوارمنگوائی جس سے وہ قتل کیا گیا تھا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) منبر پر ہی تھے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو سونتا اور فرمایا : یہ تلوار کی مکھیوں کا کھانا ہے اور گروہ میں عبداللہ بن عقیل ‘ عبداللہ بن انیس، اسود بن خزاعی تھے ان کے حلیف تھے اور ابو قتادہ بھی زہری کے گمان کے مطابق لیکن زہری کو پانچویں کا نام یاد نہیں۔
(5840) Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah bin Kab farmate hain ki woh giroh jo Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Ibn Abu Al-Haqiq ki taraf rawana kiya taake usko qatal kardein. Unhon ne qatal kardiya aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass aaye to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Jumma ke din mimbar par khutba irshad farma rahe the. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne jab unko dekha to farmaya: chehre kamyab hogaye. Unhon ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Aapko khushkhabri ho. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne poocha: kya tumne usko qatal kardiya. Arz kiya: haan. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne talwar mangwai jisse woh qatal kiya gaya tha. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) mimbar par hi the. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne usko soonta aur farmaya: yeh talwar ki makhiyon ka khana hai aur giroh mein Abdullah bin Aqeel, Abdullah bin Anees, Aswad bin Khuzaee the, unke halif the aur Abu Qatada bhi Zuhri ke gumaan ke mutabiq lekin Zuhri ko paanchwen ka naam yaad nahin.
(5842) Abdullah bin Anis narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent me to Abu al-Haqiq. When I returned, the Prophet (ﷺ) was delivering a sermon. He (ﷺ) said: "Faces have succeeded." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! I bring you good news."

(٥٨٤٢) عبداللہ بن انیس اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھے ابو الحقیق کی طرف روانہ کیا، جب میں واپس آیا تو نبی اخطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : چہرے کامیاب ہوگئے۔ میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو خوشخبری ہو۔
(5842) Abdullah bin Anees apne walid se naqal farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne mujhe Abu Al-Haqeeq ki taraf rawana kiya, jab main wapas aaya to Nabi khutba irshad farma rahe the. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: chehre kamiyab hogaye. Maine kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasul! Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko khushkhabri ho.
Jarir bin Abdullah said: When I came near Medina, I dismounted from my ride, opened my bag, and put on my Hila (a Yemeni garment). Then I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was delivering a sermon. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) greeted me, and the people were staring at me. I asked the one next to me, "O servant of Allah! Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mention anything about me?" He said, "Yes, he spoke well of you. During his sermon, when a certain matter was presented, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Soon, from this door or this path, the best of the people of Yemen will come, and on his face will be the trace of an angel.'" I praised Allah, for He tested me.

(٥٨٤٣) جریر بن عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں : جب میں مدینہ کے قریب آیا اور اپنی سواری کو بٹھایا، اپنا تھیلا کھولا اور حلہ پہن لیا۔ پھر میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس گیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھے سلام کہا تو لوگ مجھے گھور رہے تھے۔ میں نے اپنے ساتھ والے سے پوچھا : اے اللہ کے بندے ! کیا اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے میرے بارے میں کچھ ذکر کیا ہے ؟ کہنے لگے : اچھا تذکرہ کیا۔ جب دوران خطبہ کوئی بات پیش کی گئی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا تھا : عنقریب اس دروازے یا اسی راستہ سے یمن کا بہترین آدمی آئے گا اور اس کے چہرے پر فرشتے کا چوکا ہوگا۔ میں نے اللہ کی حمد بیان کی، جو اس نے میری آزمائش کی۔
(5843) Jarir bin Abdullah farmate hain : Jab main Madinah ke qareeb aya aur apni سواری ko bithaya, apna thaila khola aur hilla pehen liya. Phir main Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas gaya to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) khutba irshad farma rahe the. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne mujhe salam kaha to log mujhe ghoor rahe the. Maine apne sath wale se poocha : Aye Allah ke bande! kya Allah ke Rasul ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne mere bare mein kuch zikr kiya hai? Kehne lage : Achcha tazkira kiya. Jab dauran khutba koi baat pesh ki gayi to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya tha : Anqareeb is darwaze ya isi rasta se Yemen ka behtarin aadmi ayega aur uske chehre par farishte ka chouka hoga. Maine Allah ki hamd bayan ki, jo usne meri azmaish ki.
Salim bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father that Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) came while Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was on the pulpit delivering the Friday sermon, and asked, "What time is it?" Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "It is the time for ablution." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Ablution is fine, but you know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to command us to take a bath."

(٥٨٤٤) سالم بن عبداللہ (رض) اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عثمان (رض) آئے اور حضرت عمر (رض) منبر پر تشریف فرما ہو کر جمعہ کے دن خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے، کہنے لگے : یہ کونسی گھڑی ہے ؟ تو حضرت عثمان (رض) نے فرمایا : یہ وضو کا وقت ہے۔ حضرت عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : وضو بھی ٹھیک ہے، لیکن آپ جانتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمیں غسل کا حکم دیا کرتے تھے۔
5844 Salim bin Abdullah (RA) apne walid se naql farmate hain ke Hazrat Usman (RA) aaye aur Hazrat Umar (RA) mimbar par tashreef farma ho kar juma ke din khutba irshad farma rahe the, kehne lage : yeh konsi ghari hai ? To Hazrat Usman (RA) ne farmaya : yeh wuzu ka waqt hai. Hazrat Umar (RA) ne farmaya : wuzu bhi theek hai, lekin aap jante hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) humain ghusl ka hukum diya karte the.
(5845) Musa narrated on the authority of his father that Uthman bin 'Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) was on the pulpit on a Friday. He addressed a man and said, "Is this purchase for our family?" and he pointed to the wheat with his finger.

(٥٨٤٥) موسیٰ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ عثمان بن عفان (رض) جمعہ کے دن منبر پر تشریف فرما تھے۔ آپ نے ایک آدمی کو مخاطب کیا اور پوچھا : کیا تو نے ہمارے گھر والوں کے لیے یہ خریداری ہے اور ہاتھ کی انگلی سے گندم کا اشارہ کیا۔
