Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent an army to Najd. They captured a man from Banu Hanifa, who was called Thumamah bin Uthal. He was the chief of Yamamah. They tied him to a pillar of the mosque.

(١٨١٤٣) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک لشکر نجد کی جانب روانہ کیا۔ وہ بنو حنیفہ کے ایک شخص کو پکڑ کر لائے جس کو ثمامہ بن اثال کہا جاتا تھا۔ جو یمامہ کا سردار تھا۔ انھوں نے اسے مسجد کے ایک ستون سے باندھ دیا۔
18143 Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne ek lashkar Najd ki janib rawana kiya. Woh Banu Hanifa ke ek shakhs ko pakad kar laaye jisko Sumamah bin Asal kaha jata tha. Jo Yamama ka sardar tha. Unhon ne use masjid ke ek sutun se bandh diya.
Jundab bin Abi Makith narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent Abdullah bin Ghaalib Lithi at the head of an army, and I was with them. He ordered him to carry out a surprise attack against Banu Murrah at a place called Kudayd. When we set out, we met Harith bin Barza' at Kudayd. We apprehended him. He said: I have come with the intention of embracing Islam and I want to go to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). We said: If you are a Muslim, then being tied up for a day and a night will not harm you. And if you are not a Muslim, then we will tie you up firmly. And so we tied him up.

(١٨١٤٤) جندب بن ابی مکیث فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے عبداللہ بن غالب لیثی کو ایک لشکر میں روانہ کیا۔ میں بھی ان میں شامل تھا اور ان کو حکم دیا کہ وہ بنو ملوح پر کدید نامی جگہ پر چاروں اطراف سے حملہ کردیں۔ ہم نکلے تو ہماری ملاقات کدید میں حارث بن برصاء سے ہوگئی۔ ہم نے اسے پکڑ لیا۔ اس نے کہا : میں اسلام کے ارادہ سے آیا ہوں۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس جانا چاہتا ہوں۔ ہم نے کہا : اگر تو مسلمان ہے تو ایک دن، رات کا باندھنا تجھے نقصان نہ دے گا۔ اگر تم مسلم نہیں تو پھر ہم تجھے مضبوطی سے باندھیں گے۔ ہم نے اس کو باندھ دیا۔
(18144) Jundab bin Abi Makis farmate hain ki Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Abdullah bin Ghaalib Laisi ko ek lashkar mein rawana kiya. Main bhi un mein shamil tha aur un ko hukm diya ki woh Banu Malooh par Kadeed naami jagah par chaaron taraf se hamla kar den. Hum nikle to hamari mulaqat Kadeed mein Haris bin Barsa se ho gayi. Hum ne use pakad liya. Us ne kaha: Main Islam ke irade se aaya hun. Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass jana chahta hun. Hum ne kaha: Agar tu musalman hai to ek din, raat ka bandhna tujhe nuksan nah dega. Agar tum muslim nahin to phir hum tujhe mazbooti se bandhenge. Hum ne us ko bandh diya.
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: On the day of Badr, in the evening, when the captives were being chained, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) spent the first part of the night awake. His Companions said: "O Messenger of Allah! Why don't you sleep? Abbas is being held captive by an Ansari." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I heard the weeping of my uncle Abbas; they untied him." He (Abbas) fell silent, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to sleep.

(١٨١٤٥) حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں : بدر کے دن شام کے وقت جب قیدیوں کو زنجیروں سے باندھا جا رہا تھا تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے رات کا پہلا حصہ بیدار رہ کر گزارا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ نے فرمایا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! آپ سو کیوں نہیں رہے اور عباس کو ایک انصاری نے قیدی بنا رکھا تھا ؟ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میں نے اپنے چچا عباس کے رونے کی آواز سنی ہے، انھوں نے اس کو کھول دیا۔ وہ خاموش ہوگئے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سو گئے۔
18145 Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) farmate hain : Badr ke din sham ke waqt jab qaidion ko zanjiron se bandha ja raha tha to Rasool Allah (SAW) ne raat ka pehla hissa bedar reh kar guzara. Aap (SAW) ke sahaba ne farmaya : Aye Allah ke Rasool ! Aap so kyon nahin rahe aur Abbas ko ek ansari ne qidi bana rakha tha ? Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : Maine apne chacha Abbas ke rone ki awaz suni hai, unhon ne us ko khol diya. Woh khamosh hogaye to Rasool Allah (SAW) so gaye.
Yahya bin Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman bin As'ad bin Zararah narrated: When the Prophet (ﷺ) arrived in Medina, prisoners were brought and Saudah bint Zam'ah, the wife of the Prophet, was with the family of 'Uffrah inside a tent. This was before the order of veiling. Saudah said: I was with them when they were brought to us. It was said: These are prisoners. We have brought them to you. I returned to my house where the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was present. Suddenly, I saw Abu Yazid Suhail bin 'Amr lying in a corner of the house with both his hands tied to his neck with a rope. By Allah! I could not control myself when I saw Abu Yazid in that condition. I said: O Abu Yazid! You have let yourself be captured! Beware, die a noble death! I could not understand it, but I heard the voice of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) from inside the house: "O Saudah! What about Allah and His Messenger?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah! When I saw both hands of Abu Yazid tied to his neck, I could not control myself and I said what I said."

(١٨١٤٦) یحییٰ بن عبداللہ بن عبدالرحمن بن اسعد بن زرارہ فرماتے ہیں : جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مدینہ تشریف لائے تو قیدی لائے گئے اور سودہ بنت زمعہ نبی کی بیوی آل عفراء کے پاس تھی، عطیان کے اندر۔ یہ پردہ سے پہلے کی بات ہے۔ سودہ فرماتی ہیں : میں ان کے پاس تھی جب ہمیں لایا گیا۔ کہا گیا : یہ قیدی ہیں۔ ہم آپ کے سامنے لائے گئے۔ میں اپنے گھر واپس آئی۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) وہاں موجود تھے۔ اچانک ابو یزید سہیل بن عمرو حجرہ کے ایک کونے میں پڑے تھے کہ اس کے دونوں ہاتھ گردن کے ساتھ ایک رسی سے باندھے گئے تھے۔ اللہ کی قسم ! میں نے قابو نہ پایا جس وقت میں نے ابو یزید کو اس حالت میں دیکھا۔ میں نے کہہ دیا : اے ابو یزید ! تم نے اپنے ہاتھ پکڑوا دیے۔ خبردار ! عزت کے موت مرجاتے۔ میں سمجھ نہ سکی مگر گھر سے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی آواز آئی : اے سودہ ! کیا اللہ اور رسول پر ؟ میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! جب میں نے ابو یزید کے دونوں ہاتھ گردن کے ساتھ بندھے دیکھے تو میں اپنے اوپر قابو نہ رکھ سکی جو کہنا تھا میں نے کہہ دیا۔
Yahya bin Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman bin Asad bin Zaraarat farmate hain : Jab aap Madina tashreef laaye to qaide laaye gaye aur Sauda bint Zamaah nabi ki biwi Aal Afraa ke paas thi, Aatian ke andar. Yeh parda se pehle ki baat hai. Sauda farmati hain : Main unke paas thi jab hamen laya gaya. Kaha gaya : Yeh qaide hain. Hum aapke samne laaye gaye. Main apne ghar wapas aai. Rasul Allah wahaan maujood the. Achanak Abu Yazid Suhail bin Amr Hijra ke ek kone mein pade the ki uske dono hath gardan ke sath ek rassi se bandhe gaye the. Allah ki qasam ! Main ne qaboo na paaya jis waqt main ne Abu Yazid ko is halat mein dekha. Main ne keh diya : Aye Abu Yazid ! Tum ne apne hath pakarwa diye. Khabar daar ! Izzat ke mout marjate. Main samajh na saki magar ghar se Rasul Allah ki aawaz aai : Aye Sauda ! Kya Allah aur Rasul par ? Main ne kaha : Aye Allah ke Rasul ! Jab main ne Abu Yazid ke dono hath gardan ke sath bandhe dekhe to main apne upar qaboo na rakh saki jo kehna tha main ne keh diya.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent a prisoner to her. Some women were with Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and they distracted her from the prisoner, and he escaped. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "O Aisha, where is the prisoner?" She said: "There were women with me and they distracted me from him, so he went away." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "May Allah cut off your hand." Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out and sent someone after the prisoner. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was sitting with her hands outstretched. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "What is the matter with you?" She said: "O Messenger of Allah, you invoked Allah against me that my hand be cut off, so I am sitting with my hands outstretched waiting for someone to come and cut them off." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Are you crazy?" Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) raised his hands and said: "O Allah, make what I said against her an expiation for her sins."

(١٨١٤٧) حضرت عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کے پاس ایک قیدی کو بھیجا اور حضرت عائشہ (رض) کے پاس عورتیں تھی تو ان عورتوں نے قیدی سے غافل کردیا۔ قیدی چلا گیا۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پوچھا : اے عائشہ ! قیدی کہاں ہے ؟ فرماتی ہیں : میرے پاس عورتیں تھیں جنہوں نے مجھے اس سے غافل کردیا، وہ چلا گیا تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ تیرے ہاتھ کاٹ دے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) چلے گئے۔ اس قیدی کے پیچھے کسی کو روانہ کیا۔ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) آئے تو حضرت عائشہ اپنے ہاتھوں کو نکال کر بیٹھی ہوئی تھیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پوچھا : تجھے کیا ہے ؟ کہنے لگی : اے اللہ کے رسول ! آپ نے میرے خلاف ہاتھ کاٹنے کی بددعا فرمائی۔ میں ہاتھ لٹکا کر بیٹھی ہوں اس انتظار میں کہ کون میرے ہاتھ کاٹتا ہے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا تو پاگل ہوگئی ہے ؟ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے ہاتھ اٹھائے اور فرمایا : اے اللہ ! جو میں نے اس کے خلاف بددعا کی تھی اس کو اس کے لیے گناہوں کا کفارہ بنا دے۔
(18147) Hazrat Aisha (Raz) farmati hain keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne un ke pas ek qaidee ko bheja aur Hazrat Aisha (Raz) ke pas aurtain thi to un auraton ne qaidee se ghafil kardiya. Qaidee chala gaya. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne poocha: Aye Aisha! Qaidee kahan hai? Farmati hain: Mere pas aurtain thi jinhen ne mujhe is se ghafil kardiya, woh chala gaya to Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Allah tere hath kat de. Ap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) chale gaye. Is qaidee ke peeche kisi ko rawana kiya. Jab Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) aye to Hazrat Aisha apne hathon ko nikal kar bethi hui thi. Ap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne poocha: Tujhe kya hai? Kehne lagi: Aye Allah ke Rasul! Ap ne mere khilaf hath katne ki baddua farmai. Main hath latka kar bethi hun is intezar mein keh kaun mere hath katta hai to Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Kya tu pagal hogayi hai? Phir Ap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne apne hath uthaye aur farmaya: Aye Allah! Jo main ne is ke khilaf baddua ki thi us ko is ke liye gunahon ka kaffara bana de.
