Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Ukaidir دومہ gifted a Jubba (cloak) to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which he (the Prophet) used to wear.

(١٨٧٨٨) حضرت انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ اکیدر دومہ نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو جبہ ہدیہ میں دیا جس کو آپ زیب تن فرماتے تھے۔
(18788) Hazrat Anas (RA) farmate hain ke Aqidar Dooma ne Nabi (SAW) ko jubba hadiya mein diya jis ko aap zeb tan farmate thay.
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: We were 130 companions with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "Does anyone have any food?" When a person had a Sa' of wheat, it was ground. Then a polytheist man with long unkempt hair came with goats. He said: "Will you sell this or is it a gift?" He said: "To sell." You bought a goat from him, it was slaughtered, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded regarding the meat of the belly that it should be cooked well. By Allah! We were one hundred and thirty people, you made us eat from that meat. If someone was not present, you would keep aside for him. The narrator says that you put that meat in two plates, we all ate to our fill. Then whatever was left was loaded on the camel or as you said.

(١٨٧٨٩) عبد الرحمن بن ابی بکر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم ١٣٠ ساتھی نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ تھے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پوچھا : کیا کسی کے پاس کھانا موجود ہے ؟ جب کسی شخص کے پاس ایک صاعگندم ہوتی تو اسے گوند لیا جاتا ۔ پھر ایک مشرک آدمی لمبے پراگندہ بالوں والا بکریاں لیکر آیا۔ فرمایا : کیا یہ فروخت کرو گے یا ہبہ ہے ؟ اس نے کہا : فروخت کرنا ہے، آپ نے اس سے ایک بکری خرید لی، اسے ذبح کیا گیا، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پیٹ کے گوشت کے بارے میں حکم دیا کہ اسے بھوتا جائے، اللہ کی قسم ! ہم ایک سو تیس شخص تھے آپ نے ہمیں اس گوشت سے کاٹ کردیا ۔ اگر کوئی موجود نہ ہوتا تو اس کے لیے الگ کر کے رکھ لیتے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ آپ نے اس گوشت کو دو پلیٹوں میں ڈال دیا، ہم تمام نے سیر ہو کر کھایا۔ پھر جو باقی بچا اونٹ پر لاد لیا یا جیسے آپ نے فرمایا۔
(18789) Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (RA) farmate hain ki hum 130 sathi Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath thay. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne poocha: kya kisi ke pass khana mojood hai? Jab kisi shakhs ke pass ek sa gandum hoti to use gond liya jata. Phir ek mushrik aadmi lambay paraganda balon wala bakriyan lekar aaya. Farmaya: kya yeh farokht karoge ya heba hai? Usne kaha: farokht karna hai, aap ne is se ek bakri kharid li, use zibah kiya gaya, Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne pet ke gosht ke bare mein hukm diya ki use bhoon liya jaye, Allah ki qasam! Hum ek sau tees shakhs thay aap ne humain is gosht se kaat kar diya. Agar koi mojood na hota to uske liye alag kar ke rakh lete. Ravi kehte hain ki aap ne is gosht ko do plateon mein daal diya, hum tamam ne ser ho kar khaya. Phir jo baqi bacha unt par laad liya ya jaise aap ne farmaya.
Abu Humaid As Saidi narrates: I went on the expedition of Tabuk with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He mentioned the Hadith which (stated) that the king of Ila presented to the Prophet (peace be upon him) a white mule as a gift, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) put a sheet on it and gave a horse in return.

(١٨٧٩٠) ابو حمیدساعدی فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ تبوک کا سفر کیا۔ اس نے حدیث کو ذکر کیا جس میں یہ تھا کہ ایلہ کے بادشاہ نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو سفید خچر تحفہ میں دیا تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو چادر پہنائی اور اس کے عوض گھوڑا عطا کیا۔
(18790) Abu Humaid Saidi farmate hain ki maine Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath Tabuk ka safar kiya. Usne hadees ko zikar kiya jis mein ye tha ki Ilaah ke badshah ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko safed khachar tohfa mein diya to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne usko chadar pehnai aur uske awaz ghora ata kiya.
Abdullah Huzni reported that he met Bilal (RA), the mu'azzin (caller to prayer) of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), and asked him: "O Bilal, tell me about the expenses of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)." He narrated a hadith, in which a man came running and said: "O Bilal, call the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)." He came to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), and there were four camels loaded with goods. I asked for permission, and the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Rejoice! Allah has settled your debt." Then he said: "Don't you see those four loaded camels?" He said: "Why not?" He (PBUH) said: "These are all for you, and on them are clothes and food that the governor of Fadak has gifted me. Take it and pay off your debt." He (Bilal) said: "So I did."

(١٨٧٩١) عبداللہ ھوزنی فرماتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے مؤذن بلال (رض) کو ملا، پوچھا : اے بلال (رض) ! رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے خرچے کے بارے میں بتائیے۔ اس نے حدیث ذکر کی۔ جس میں تھا کہ ایک انسان دوڑتا ہوا آیا اور کہا : اے بلال (رض) رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو بلاؤ، میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آیا، چار اونٹنیاں سامان سے لادی ہوئی تھیں۔ میں نے اجازت طلب کی تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : خوش ہو جاؤ ۔ اللہ نے آپ کے قرض کی ادائیگی کا بند و بست کردیا ہے۔ پھر فرمایا : کیا آپ ان چار سامان سے لدی ہوئی اونٹنیوں کی طرف نہیں دیکھتے۔ اس نے کہا : کیوں نہیں، آپ نے فرمایا : یہ سب تیرے لیے ہیں اور ان پر کپڑے اور کھانا ہے جو فدک کے امیر نے مجھے تحفہ میں دیا ہے۔ یہ لے جا کر اپنا قرض ادا کرو، کہتے ہیں : میں نے ایسا ہی کیا۔
(18791) Abdullah Hozni farmate hain keh main Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke muazzin Bilal (RA) ko mila, poocha : Aye Bilal (RA)! Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke kharche ke bare mein bataiye. Usne hadees zikar ki. Jis mein tha keh ek insan daurta hua aaya aur kaha : Aye Bilal (RA) Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko bulaao, main Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas aaya, chaar oontniyan saman se ladi hui thin. Maine ijazat talab ki to Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Khush ho jao. Allah ne aap ke qarz ki adaegi ka band o bast kar diya hai. Phir farmaya : Kya aap in chaar saman se ladi hui oontniyon ki taraf nahin dekhte. Usne kaha : Kyon nahin, aap ne farmaya : Yeh sab tere liye hain aur in par kapde aur khana hai jo Fadak ke ameer ne mujhe tohfa mein diya hai. Yeh le ja kar apna qarz ada karo, kehte hain : Maine aisa hi kiya.
Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Chosroes and Caesar gave gifts to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), which he accepted. Many kings gave him gifts, which he accepted.
Imam Shafi'i (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Abu Sufyan ibn Harb gifted Maria, the mother of Ibrahim, and the king of Alexandria gave a cloak (mushkiza) as gifts, which he accepted. Many other people also gave him gifts, which he did not distribute among the Muslims.

(١٨٧٩٢) حضرت علی بن ابی طالب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کسریٰ وقیصر نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو تحفہ دیا، جو آپ نے قبول کیا اور کئی بادشاہوں نے آپ کو تحفے دیے، جو آپ نے قبول کیے۔
امام شافعی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ابو سفیان بن حرب نے مشکیزہ، اسکندریہ کے بادشاہ نے ابراہیم کی والدہ ماریہ تحفہ میں دی، جو آپ نے قبول فرمایا، کئی اور لوگوں نے بھی آپ کو تحفے دیے جو مسلمانوں کے درمیان تقسیم نہیں فرمائے۔
18792 Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib (RA) farmate hain Kisra o Qaisar ne Rasool Allah (SAW) ko tohfa diya, jo aap ne qubool kya aur kai badshahon ne aap ko tohfe diye, jo aap ne qubool kiye.
Imam Shafi (RA) farmate hain ke Abu Sufyan bin Harb ne mushkiza, Iskandariya ke badshah ne Ibraheem ki walida Maria tohfa mein di, jo aap ne qubool farmaya, kai aur logon ne bhi aap ko tohfe diye jo musalmanon ke darmiyan taqseem nahin farmaye.
(18793) 'Iyadh bin Himar narrated : I presented a she-camel or some other gift to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He asked, 'Have you embraced Islam?' I replied, 'No.' He said, 'I do not accept the gifts of polytheists.' (b) 'Iyadh bin Himar reported: I presented a gift to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), or (it may be) a she-camel. He asked me if I had embraced Islam. I said: No. Thereupon he refused to accept the gift, and said: We do not accept the gifts of the polytheists. I asked Hasan: What are the gifts of polytheists? He said: Their presents.
The Shaikh says: His gift was rejected either on account of its being unlawful or disapproved, or due to the anger that they had not embraced Islam, although there are many authentic traditions in favour of accepting the gifts of the polytheists.

(١٨٧٩٣) عیاض بن حمارفرماتے ہیں : میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اونٹنی تحفہ میں دی یا کوئی تحفہ دیا۔ آپ نے پوچھا : مسلمان ہوگئے ہو ؟ میں نے کہا : نہیں ، آپ نے فرمایا : میں مشرکین کے تحفے قبول نہیں کرتا۔ (ب) عیاض بن حمار کہتے ہیں : میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو کوئی ہدیہ یا اونٹنی دی۔ آپ نے پوچھا کہ مسلمان ہو ؟ میں نے کہا : نہیں تو آپ نے تحفہ قبول کرنے سے انکار کردیا اور فرمایا : ہم مشرکین کے تحفے قبول نہیں کرتے۔ میں نے حسن سے پوچھا : مشرکین کے تحفے کیا ہیں ؟ فرمایا : ان کے عطیے۔
شیخ فرماتے ہیں : اس کا تحفہ حرمت یا تنزیہ کی وجہ سے رد کردیا، اس غصے کی وجہ سے کہ انھوں نے اسلام قبول نہیں کیا۔ حالانکہ مشرکین کے تحفے قبول کرنے کے بارے میں صحیح اور کثرت سے روایات موجود ہیں۔
18793 Ayaz bin Humar farmate hain : maine Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko untni tohfa mein di ya koi tohfa diya. Aap ne pucha : Musalman ho gaye ho? Maine kaha : nahi, Aap ne farmaya : mein mushrikeen ke tohfe qubool nahi karta. (b) Ayaz bin Humar kehte hain : mein Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko koi hadiya ya untni di. Aap ne pucha keh Musalman ho? Maine kaha : nahi to Aap ne tohfa qubool karne se inkar kar diya aur farmaya : hum mushrikeen ke tohfe qubool nahi karte. Maine Hassan se pucha : mushrikeen ke tohfe kya hain? Farmaya : un ke atiye.
Sheikh farmate hain : is ka tohfa hurmat ya tanzih ki wajah se rad kar diya, is ghusse ki wajah se keh unhon ne Islam qubool nahi kiya. Halankeh mushrikeen ke tohfe qubool karne ke bare mein sahih aur kasrat se riwayat maujood hain.
