Ali bin Abi Talha narrated from Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding Allah's saying: {And offer sacrifice.} [Al-Kawthar 2] that it means to slaughter on the day of sacrifice.

(١٩٠٠٥) علی بن ابی طلحہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) سے اللہ کے اس قول : { وَانْحَرْ ۔ } [الکوثر ٢] کے بارے میں فرماتے ہیں کہ قربانی کے دن ذبح کرو۔
19005 Ali bin Abi Talha Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) se Allah ke is qaul: { wanhar } [Al-Kawthar 2] ke bare mein farmate hain ke qurbani ke din zabah karo.
Anas bin Malik narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to sacrifice two rams. Anas says: I also used to sacrifice two rams.

(١٩٠٠٦) حضرت انس بن مالک فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) دو مینڈھے قربانی کرتے ۔ انس کہتے ہیں : میں بھی دو مینڈھے قربانی کیا کرتا تھا۔
(19006) Hazrat Anas bin Malik farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) do mendhe qurbani karte. Anas kehte hain: mein bhi do mendhe qurbani kiya karta tha.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sacrificed two rams which were grey colored and had horns. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his foot on their necks and said, "In the Name of Allah, and Allah is the Greatest," and slaughtered them with his own hands.

(١٩٠٠٧) حضرت انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول مکرم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دو ایسے مینڈھے قربانی کیے جو خاکستری رنگ اور سینگوں والے تھے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنا قدم ان کی گردنوں پر رکھ کر بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ وَ اللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ کہا تھا اور انھیں اپنے ہاتھ سے ذبح کیا تھا۔
(19007) Hazrat Anas (RA) farmate hain ke Rasool Mukarram ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne do aise mendhe qurbani kiye jo khaksari rang aur singon wale the. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne apna qadam un ki gardanon par rakh kar Bismillah wa Allahu Akbar kaha tha aur unhen apne hath se zibah kiya tha.
Anas bin Malik narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sacrificed two rams that were greyish in color and had horns. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his foot on their necks and recited "Bismillahi Allahu Akbar" while slaughtering them.

(١٩٠٠٨) حضرت انس بن مالک فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول معظم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دو ایسے مینڈھے قربان کیے جو خاکستری رنگ اور سینگوں والے تھے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کی گردنوں پر اپنا قدم رکھ کر ان کو ذبح کرتے وقت بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ وَ اللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ پڑھا۔
(19008) Hazrat Anas bin Malik farmate hain ki Rasul Moazzam ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne do aise mendhe qurban kiye jo khaki rang aur singon wale thay. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne un ki gardanon par apna qadam rakh kar un ko zibah karte waqt Bismillah wallah hu akbar parha.
(19009) Abdullah bin Muhammad bin 'Aqeel bin Abi Talib narrated from 'Ali bin Al-Husayn regarding Allah's statement: { For every nation We have appointed religious ceremonies which they must perform } [Al-Hajj 67] “We have appointed for every nation a way of worship, which they observe.” He said: According to this, they are the ones who slaughter. Abu Rafi' said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) bought two rams which were gray colored, horned, fat, and fresh. After the Khutbah and prayer, you (ﷺ) slaughtered one ram with your own hand with a knife. Then you said: O Allah! This is on behalf of my Ummah who bear witness to Your Oneness and my Prophethood. Then the second ram was brought, and you (ﷺ) slaughtered it. Then you said: This is on behalf of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. Then he fed the meat to the poor, and he himself ate from it, and he fed his family. We stayed for two years until Uhud relieved us of our debt and hardship. None of the Banu Hashim offered sacrifices.

(١٩٠٠٩) عبداللہ بن محمد بن عقیل بن ابی طالب حضرت علی بن حسین سے اللہ کے اس فرمان : { لِکُلِّ اُمَّۃٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنْسَکًا ھُمْ نَاسِکُوْہُ } [الحج ٦٧] ” ہم نے ہر امت کے لیے عبادت کا طریقہ مقرر کیا، جس طرح وہ عبادت کرتے ہیں۔ “ فرمایا : اس کے مطابق وہ ذبح کرنے والے ہیں۔ ابو رافع فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایسے دو مینڈھے جو خاکستری رنگت، سینگوں والے، موٹے تازے خریدے۔ خطبہ اور نماز کے بعد آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے ہاتھ سے چھری کے ساتھ ایک مینڈھا ذبح فرمایا۔ پھر فرمایا : اے اللہ ! یہ میری امت کی جانب سے ہے جو تیری وحدانیت اور میری رسالت کی گواہی دے۔ پھر دوسرا مینڈھا لایا گیا آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ذبح فرمایا : پھر فرمایا یہ محمد اور آل محمد کی جانب سے ہے۔ پھر مسکینوں کو گوشت کھلا دیا اور خود بھی اور گھر والوں کو بھی کھلایا۔ ہم دو سال ٹھہرے رہے کہ احد نے ہمارے قرض اور مشقت کو دور کردیا۔ بنو ہاشم میں سے کسی نے قربانی نہ کی تھی۔
(19009) Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel bin Abi Talib Hazrat Ali bin Hussain se Allah ke is farmaan: { Lِikulli ummatin jaAAalna mansakan hum nasikoohu } [Al-Hajj 67] ” Hum ne har ummat ke liye ibadat ka tareeqa muqarrar kya, jis tarah wo ibadat karte hain. “ farmaya: Iske mutabiq wo zabah karne wale hain. Abu Rafi farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne aise do mendhe jo khaki rangat, singon wale, mote taaze khareedi. Khutba aur namaz ke baad aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne apne hath se chhuri ke saath ek mendha zabah farmaya. Phir farmaya: Aye Allah! Ye meri ummat ki taraf se hai jo teri wahdaniyat aur meri risalat ki gawahi dete. Phir doosra mendha laya gaya aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne zabah farmaya: Phir farmaya ye Muhammad aur Aal-e-Muhammad ki taraf se hai. Phir miskeenon ko gosht khila diya aur khud bhi aur ghar walon ko bhi khilaya. Hum do saal thehre rahe ke Uhud ne humare qarz aur mashaqqat ko door kar diya. Banu Hashim mein se kisi ne qurbani nah ki thi.
Mukhnif bin Salim narrated that we performed Wuquf (standing) at Arafah with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said: "For every household there is an offering and an 'Atirah every year. Do you know what 'Atirah is?" The narrator said: "I do not know their answer." He then said: "It is what the people call Rajabiyyah, meaning an animal that is specified for slaughter in the month of Rajab.”

(١٩٠١٠) مخنفبن سلیم فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ وقوف عرفہ کیا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ہر گھر والوں پر ہر سال میں قربانی اور عتیرہ ہے۔ کیا تم عتیرہ کے بارے میں جانتے ہو ؟ راوی کہتے ہیں : ان کے جواب کو میں نہیں جانتا ۔ پھر فرمایا : یہ وہ ہے جس کو لوگ رجبیہ کہتے ہیں، یعنی ایسا جانور جو ماہ رجب میں ذبح کرنے کے لیے مخصوص کیا جاتا۔
Makhnfoon bin Saleem farmate hain ki hum ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath waqoof Arafah kiya Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Har ghar walon per har saal mein qurbani aur atira hai kya tum atira ke bare mein jante ho? Ravi kehte hain: Inke jawab ko main nahin janta phir farmaya: Yah wo hai jisko log rajbiya kehte hain yani aisa janwar jo mah Rajab mein zabah karne ke liye makhsus kiya jata.
The wife of Al-Ash'ath narrates from an old woman of hers, who was told by the delegation of Ghamid returning from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is a sacrifice and an 'Atirah in every year for every household of the Muslims."

(١٩٠١١) آل اشعث کی عورت اپنی ایک بوڑھیا سے نقل فرماتی ہے جس کو غامدی وفد نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس سے آتے ہوئے خبر دی کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مسلمانوں کے ہر گھر پر قربانی اور عتیرہ ہے۔
(19011) Aal e Ashath ki aurat apni aik burhi se naqal farmati hai jis ko Ghamidi wafd ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas se aate hue khabar di ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Musalmanon ke har ghar par qurbani aur atirah hai.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever can afford it but does not offer a sacrifice, let him not come near our place of prayer."

(١٩٠١٢) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو طاقت ہوتے ہوئے قربانی نہ کرے وہ ہماری عید گاہ کے قریب نہ آئے۔
(19012) Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : jo taqat hote hue qurbani na kare woh hamari Eid gah ke qareeb na aaye.
Saeed bin Musayyab narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that whoever, despite having the means, does not offer sacrifice, should not come near our place of Eid prayer.

(١٩٠١٣) سعید بن مسیب حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کو جو وسعت کے باوجود قربانی نہ کرے وہ ہماری عید گاہ کے قریب نہ آئے۔
(19013) Saeed bin Musayyab Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) se naql farmate hain ko jo wusat ke bawajood qurbani na kare woh hamari Eidgah ke qareeb na aaye.
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "To spend something in silver on the day of Eid is better than sacrificing an animal."

(١٩٠١٤) حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : چاندی کی کوئی چیز خرچ کی جائے یہ عید کے دن قربانی کرنے سے افضل ہے۔
(19014) Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) Nabi (SAW) se naql farmate hain keh aap (SAW) ne farmaya : Chandi ki koi cheez kharch ki jaye yeh eid ke din qurbani karne se afzal hai.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The most beloved of deeds to Allah on the Day of Sacrifice is the sacrificing of animals. It will come on the Day of Resurrection with its horns, hair, hooves, and blood, and the blood will reach the place of Allah's acceptance before it falls to the ground. So, be pleased with it."
The Shaykh said: It was narrated from Musa bin 'Uqbah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The most beloved of deeds to Allah on the Day of Sacrifice is the sacrificing of animals."

(١٩٠١٥) حضرت عائشہ (رض) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتی ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قربانی والے دن اللہ کو انسان کا سب سے زیادہ محبوب عمل خون بہانا ہے۔ وہ قیامت کے دن اپنے گوبر، سینگوں، بالوں اور کھروں سمیت آئے گا اور قربانی کا خون زمین پر گرنے سے پہلے اللہ ان کی قربانی قبول کرلیتے ہیں ۔
شیخ فرماتے ہیں : موسیٰ بن عقبہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قربانی کے دن اللہ کو انسان کا سب سے زیادہ محبوب عمل خون بہانا ہے۔
(19015) Hazrat Ayesha (raz) Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se naqal farmati hain ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Qurbani wale din Allah ko insan ka sab se zyada mahboob amal khoon bahana hai. Wo qayamat ke din apne gober, singon, baalon aur khuron samet aye ga aur qurbani ka khoon zameen par girne se pehle Allah un ki qurbani qabool karlete hain.
Sheikh farmate hain: Moosa bin Uqba se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Qurbani ke din Allah ko insan ka sab se zyada mahboob amal khoon bahana hai.
Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Companions asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the sacrifices, so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim (peace be upon him)." They asked: "What reward will we get in the Hereafter?" He said: "For every drop of blood, a good deed."

(١٩٠١٦) زید بن ارقم (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ صحابہ نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے قربانیوں کے بارے میں پوچھا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تمہارے باپ ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کی سنت ہے۔ صحابہ نے پوچھا : ہمیں آخرت میں کیا اجر ملے گا ؟ فرمایا : ہر خون کے قطرے کے بدلے نیکی۔
Zayd bin Arqam (RA) farmate hain ke sahaba ne Nabi (SAW) se qurbaniyon ke bare mein poocha to aap (SAW) ne farmaya: tumhare baap Ibrahim (AS) ki sunnat hai. Sahaba ne poocha: humein aakhirat mein kya ajr milega? Farmaya: har khoon ke qatre ke badle neki.
Zayd ibn Arqam narrated that we said: "O Messenger of Allah, what are sacrifices?" He said: "They are the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim (peace be upon him)." The Companions said: "What reward will we get?" He (peace be upon him) said: "A reward for every hair." The narrator said: "We said: "What about the wool?" He said: "A reward for every hair of wool." [Very weak].

(١٩٠١٧) زید بن ارقم فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! قربانیاں کیا ہیں ؟ فرمایا : تمہارے باپ ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کی سنت ہے۔ صحابہ نے کہا : ہمیں کیا اجر ملے گا ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ہر بال کے بدلے نیکی۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : ہم نے کہا : اون کے بارے میں کیا ہے ؟ فرمایا : اون کے ہر بال کے بدلے نیکی ملے گی۔ [ضعیف جدًا ]
Zaid bin Arqam farmate hain ki hum ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Qurbanian kya hain? Farmaya: Tumhare baap Ibrahim (alaihis salam) ki sunnat hai. Sahaba ne kaha: Hamein kya ajr milega? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Har baal ke badle neki. Rawi kahte hain: Hum ne kaha: Oon ke bare mein kya hai? Farmaya: Oon ke har baal ke badle neki milegi.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Sacrifice has abrogated every other form of animal sacrifice, the fasts of Ramadan have abrogated every other form of fasting, the Ghusl (ritual bath) after sexual impurity has abrogated every other form of Ghusl, and Zakat has abrogated all other forms of charity." [Very weak (in authenticity)].

(١٩٠١٩) حضرت علی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قربانی نے ہر ذبیحہ اور رمضان کے روزوں نے ہر قسم کے روزوں کو اور غسل جنابت نے ہر قسم کے غسل کو اور زکوۃ نے تمام صدقات کو منسوخ کردیا ہے۔ [ضعیف جدًا ]
Hazrat Ali (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : Qurbani ne har zabiha aur Ramzan ke rozon ne har qisam ke rozon ko aur gusal janabat ne har qisam ke gusal ko aur zakat ne tamam sadaqat ko mansukh kardiya hai. [Zaeef Jiddan].
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Zakat has abrogated all Sadaqah (charity) mentioned in the Quran. Ghusl (ritual bath) after sexual intercourse has abrogated every other type of Ghusl. The fasts of Ramadan have abrogated all other types of fasting. And the sacrifice (on Eid al-Adha) has abrogated every other type of sacrifice.

(١٩٠٢٠) حضرت علی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : زکوۃ نے قرآن میں موجود تمام صدقات کو منسوخ کردیا۔ غسل جنابت نے ہر قسم کے غسل کو منسوخ کیا۔ رمضان کے روزوں نے تمام قسم کے روزوں کو منسوخ کیا اور قربانی نے ہر قسم کے ذبیحہ کو منسوخ کردیا۔
Hazrat Ali (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : Zakat ne Quran mein mojood tamam sadaqat ko mansookh kardiya. Gusl janabat ne har qisam ke gusl ko mansookh kiya. Ramzan ke rozon ne tamam qisam ke rozon ko mansookh kiya aur qurbani ne har qisam ke zabiha ko mansookh kardiya.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, should I offer a sacrifice by taking a loan?” He said, “Offer a sacrifice by taking a loan, for the loan will be paid off.”

(١٩٠٢١) حضرت عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں : اے اللہ کے رسول ! کیا میں قرض لے کر قربانی کروں۔ فرمایا : قرض لے کر قربانی کرو کیونکہ قرض ادا کردیا جائے گا۔
(19021) Hazrat Ayesha (Raz) farmati hain : Aye Allah ke Rasool! Kya main qarz lekar qurbani karoon. Farmaya : Qarz lekar qurbani karo kyunki qarz ada kar diya jayega.
