Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19676
Tariq bin Suwaid or Suwaid bin Tariq Ja’fi (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about alcohol. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade him from making it. He (Tariq) said, “It is a medicine.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “It is not a medicine, rather it is a disease.”

(١٩٦٧٦) طارق بن سوید یا سوید بن طارق جعفی نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے شراب کے بارے میں سوال کیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کے بنانے سے منع فرمایا۔ وہ کہنے لگا : یہ دوا ہے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یہ دواء نہیں بلکہ یہ بیماری ہے۔
19676 Tariq bin Sawid ya Sawid bin Tariq Jaifi ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se sharaab ke baare mein sawal kiya to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne uske banane se mana farmaya. Woh kehne laga: Yeh dawa hai. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Yeh dawa nahin balke yeh bimari hai.
(19677) Narrated Abdullah bin Umar (RA): I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying: When Allah dropped Adam (AS) on the earth, the angels said: "Will You place (mankind) therein who will make mischief therein and bloodshed, while we glorify You with praises and thanksgivings and sanctify Your holy (name)?" Allah said: "I know that which you know not." (2:30) "O our Lord! We are more obedient to You than the Children of Adam." Then Allah said: "Bring two angels." He brought them down to the earth and asked them how they would act. They said: "This is Harut and this is Marut." So, both of them were sent down to the earth, and a beautiful woman appeared before them. They both asked her about her private parts, but she refused, saying: "Not until you utter a statement of disbelief (in Allah)." They said: "By Allah, we will never disbelieve." She went away and came back with a baby boy. Then they both asked her about her private parts, and she said: "By Allah, (it is unlawful) till you kill this little child." They said: "By Allah, we will never kill him." Then she went away and came back with a cup of wine. They both asked for her private parts, and she said: "By Allah! First, drink this wine." They drank it and became intoxicated. They committed illegal sexual intercourse with her and killed the boy. When they became sober, the woman said: "You committed (in a state of drunkenness) those evil deeds about which I had put off (doing)." Then they were given the choice between the punishment of this world or the Hereafter. They chose the punishment of this world.
(B) Ibn Umar (RA) narrated from the Prophet (ﷺ) that the angels mentioned the deeds of the Children of Adam. Then he narrated the like of it.

(١٩٦٧٧) عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرما رہے تھے : جب اللہ نے آدم (علیہ السلام) کو زمین پر اتارا تو فرشتے کہنے لگے : { اَتَجْعَلُ فِیْھَا مَنْ یُّفْسِدُ فِیْھَا وَ یَسْفِکُ الدِّمَآئَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِکَ وَ نُقَدِّسُ لَکَ قَالَ اِنِّیْٓ اَعْلَمُ مَالَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۔ } [البقرۃ ٣٠] ” اے اللہ ! کیا تو اس کو بھیجے گا جو فساد کرے اور خون بہاے زمین میں اور ہم تیری حمد و تقدیس بیان کرتے ہیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں : میں وہ جانتا ہوں جو تم نہیں جانتے۔ “ اے ہمارے رب ! ہم بنو آدم سے زیادہ فرمان بردار ہیں تو اللہ نے فرمایا : دو فرشتے آؤ۔ ہم انھیں زمین پر اتارتے ہیں۔ ہم دیکھتے ہیں، وہ کیسے عمل کرتے ہیں۔ انھوں نے کہا : یہ ہاروت اور ماروت ہیں۔ وہ دونوں زمین پر اتار دیے گئے تو ایک خوبصورت عورت ان کے سامنے ظاہر ہوئی تو ان دونوں نے اس کے نفس کے بارے میں سوال شروع کر دییوہ کہنے لگی : نہیں جتنی دیر تم یہ شرکیہ بات نہ کہو گے۔ وہ کہنے لگے : ہم اللہ کی قسم ! ہرگز شرک نہ کریں گے۔ پر وہ ان دونوں کے پاس سے چلی گئی اور پھر ایک بچہ اٹھا کر واپس پلٹی۔ پھر ان دونوں نے اس کے نفس کے بارے میں سوال کیا تو وہ کہنے لگی : اللہ کی قسم ! یہ نہ ہوگا جب تک تم دونوں اس بچے کو قتل نہ کر دو ۔ وہ کہنے لگے : اللہ کی قسم ! ہم اسے ہرگز قتل نہ کریں گے۔ پھر وہ عورت ایک شراب کا پیالہ لے کر آئی۔ پھر ان دونوں نے اس کے نفس کا مطالبہ کیا، وہ کہنے لگی : اللہ کی قسم ! پہلے شراب پیو۔ ان دونوں نے شراب کو پی لیا اور نشے میں دھت ہوگئے تو عورت سے بدکاری اور بچے کا قتل دونوں جرم کرلیے۔ جب دونوں نشے سے فارغ ہوئے تو عورت کہنے لگی : تم نے نشے کی حالت میں وہ جرم کرلیا، جس سے میں نے انکار کردیا تھا تو اس وقت ان کو دنیا اور آخرت کے عذاب کے بارے میں اختیار دیا گیا تو انھوں نے دنیا کے عذاب کو اختیار کرلیا۔
(ب) ابن عمر (رض) حضرت کعب سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ فرشتوں نے بنو آدم کے اعمال کا تذکرہ کیا۔ پھر اس کے مثل بیان کیا۔
(19677) Abdullah bin Umar (RA) farmate hain ki unhon ne Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) farma rahe the : Jab Allah ne Adam (Alaihissalam) ko zameen par utara to farishte kahne lage : { A TAJ AA LO FEE HAA MAN YUFSIDU FEE HAA WA YASFIKUD DI MAA AA WA NA HNU NUSAB BI HAMDIKAA WA NUQAD DISU LAK QAA LA IN NI AA LA MU MAA LAA TA' LAA MOON } [Al Baqarah 30] " Aye Allah! kya to us ko bhi bhejega jo fasad kare aur khoon bahaye zameen mein aur hum teri hamd o takdees bayan karte hain. Allah ta'ala farmate hain : Main wo janta hun jo tum nahin jante. " Aye hamare rab! hum bano Adam se zyada farman bardar hain to Allah ne farmaya : Do farishte aao. Hum unhen zameen par utarte hain. Hum dekhte hain, wo kaise amal karte hain. Unhon ne kaha : Ye Haroot aur Maroot hain. Wo dono zameen par utar diye gaye to ek khoobsurat aurat un ke samne zahir hui to un dono ne us ke nafs ke bare mein sawal shuru kar diya wo kahne lagi : Nahin jitni der tum ye shirkiya baat na kahoge. Wo kahne lage : Hum Allah ki kasam! hargiz shirk na karenge. Par wo un dono ke paas se chali gayi aur phir ek bachcha utha kar wapas palti. Phir un dono ne us ke nafs ke bare mein sawal kiya to wo kahne lagi : Allah ki kasam! ye na hoga jab tak tum dono is bachche ko qatl na kar do. Wo kahne lage : Allah ki kasam! hum ise hargiz qatl na karenge. Phir wo aurat ek sharab ka piala lekar aayi. Phir un dono ne us ke nafs ka mutalba kiya, wo kahne lagi : Allah ki kasam! pehle sharab piyo. Un dono ne sharab ko pi liya aur nashe mein dhut ho gaye to aurat se badkari aur bachche ka qatl dono jurm kar liye. Jab dono nashe se farigh hue to aurat kahne lagi : Tumne nashe ki halat mein wo jurm kar liya, jisse main ne inkar kar diya tha to us waqt un ko duniya aur aakhirat ke azab ke bare mein ikhtiyar diya gaya to unhon ne duniya ke azab ko ikhtiyar kar liya.
(b) Ibn Umar (RA) Hazrat Ka'b se naql farmate hain ki farishton ne bano Adam ke aamal ka tazkira kiya. Phir us ke misl bayan kiya.
Yahya bin Ja'dah narrated that Uthman bin Affan said: "Beware of alcohol, for it is the key to every evil." A man was brought and told: "Burn this book, or this child will be killed, or you will commit adultery with this woman, or drink this cup of wine, or prostrate to this cross." He thought the least of these evils was to drink the wine. When he drank the wine, he prostrated to the cross, killed the child, committed adultery with the woman, and burned the book.

(١٩٦٧٨) یحییٰ بن جعدہ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عثمان بن عفان نے فرمایا : تم شراب سے بچو، کیونکہ یہ ہر برائی کی چابی ہے، ایک آدمی کو لایا گیا، اس سے کہا گیا : اس کتاب کو جلاؤ یا یہ بچہ قتل کرویا اس عورت پر واقع ہو یا پھر شراب کا پیالہ پی یا اس صلیب کو سجدہ کر، فرماتے ہیں : اس نیسب سے چھوٹا کام شراب کا پی لینا سمجھا۔ جب اس نے شراب پی لی تو صلیب کو سجدہ، بچے کا قتل، عورت سے بدکاری اور کتاب کا جلانا سب جرم کرلیے۔
Yahya bin Jadah farmate hain ki Hazrat Usman bin Affan ne farmaya: Tum sharaab se bacho, kyunki yeh har burai ki chaabi hai, ek aadmi ko laya gaya, us se kaha gaya: Is kitab ko jalao ya yeh bachcha qatal karwaya is aurat par waqe ho ya phir sharaab ka piala pi ya is saleeb ko sajda kar, farmate hain: Is nisbat se chhota kaam sharaab ka pi lena samjha. Jab usne sharaab pi li to saleeb ko sajda, bachche ka qatal, aurat se badkari aur kitab ka jalana sab jurm karliye.
Lady Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I had prepared an alcoholic drink in a vessel. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered while it was fermenting. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: What is this? I said: My daughter has fallen ill, so I prepared this for her. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah has not placed your cure in what He has prohibited.
(b) Narrated from Hassan from Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered. Then she narrated the same.

(١٩٦٧٩) سیدہ ام سلمہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے کوزے میں نبیذ بنایا، نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) داخل ہوئے، وہ جوش مار رہا تھا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یہ کیا ہے۔ میں نے کہا : میری بیٹی بیمار ہوگئی، میں نے اس کے لیے تیار کیا تھا ۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ نے حرام کردہ چیز میں تمہارے لیے شفا نہیں رکھی۔
(ب) حضرت حسان ام سلمہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) داخل ہوئے۔ پھر اس کے مثل ذکر کیا ہے۔
19679 Sayyidah Umm Salmah (Razi Allah Anha) farmati hain keh maine koze mein nabiz banaya, Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) dakhil hue, woh josh maar raha tha, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: yeh kya hai. Maine kaha: meri beti bimar hogayi, maine iske liye taiyar kiya tha. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Allah ne haram kardah cheez mein tumhare liye shifa nahi rakhi.
(b) Hazrat Hassan Umm Salmah (Razi Allah Anha) se naql farmate hain keh woh farmati hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) dakhil hue. Phir iske misl zikar kiya.
Shaqeeq bin Salmah narrated that a man had a stomach ailment. Yellow water was found (in his stomach). He was brought to Abdullah. He said: I have a stomach ailment. If only some wine or an intoxicant were prepared for me. Abdullah said: Allah has not placed a cure for you in something He has forbidden to you.

(١٩٦٨٠) شقیق بن سلمہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی کا پیٹ خراب ہوگیا۔ زرد پانی پایا گیا تو اسے عبداللہ کے پاس لایا گیا۔ وہکہنے لگا : میرا پیٹ خراب ہوگیا ہے۔ میرے لیے شراب یا نشہ آور چیز بنائی گئی تو عبداللہ (رض) کہنے لگے : جو اللہ نے تمہارے اوپر حرام کردیا، اس میں تمہارے لیے شفا نہیں رکھی۔
Shaqiq bin Salma farmate hain ke ek aadmi ka pet kharab hogaya. Zard pani paya gaya to use Abdullah ke paas laya gaya. Woh kehne laga : Mera pet kharab hogaya hai. Mere liye sharaab ya nashaawar cheez banai gai to Abdullah (Raz) kehne lage : Jo Allah ne tumhare upar haram kardiya, usme tumhare liye shifa nahi rakhi.
