Chapter on the judge admonishing the witnesses, frightening them, and informing them when in doubt, with what is in the testimony of falsehood from the major sins, and the great burden
باب وعظ القاضي الشهود، وتخويفهم وتعريفهم عند الريبة، بما في شهادة الزور من كبير الإثم، وعظيم الوزر
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 20380
(20380) Narrated `Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakrah, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Shall I not inform you of the greatest of the major sins?" He said it thrice. They (the Companions) said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" He (ﷺ) said: "1. To join partners in worship with Allah. 2. Disobedience to parents." The narrator said: He (ﷺ) was reclining (on a pillow) and he sat up and said: "Beware! And bearing false witness." And he kept on repeating it until we said: "We wish he would stop (saying it)."
(b) In the narration of Bishr, the wording is: While we were sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) he said: "Shall I not inform you..." and he said: "...and false witness." He said it thrice.

(٢٠٣٨٠) عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکرہ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا میں تمہیں اکبر الکبائر کی خبر نہ دوں ؟ تین بار فرمایا : انھوں نے کہا : کیوں نہیں، اے اللہ کے رسول ! فرمایا : 1 اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرنا 2 والدین کی نافرمانی۔ راوی فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ تکیہ لگائے بیٹھے تھے۔ آپ نے فرمایا : خبردار ! جھوٹی گواہی۔ آپ بار بار اس کو دہراتے رہے، ہم نے کہا : شاید کے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) خاموش ہوجائیں۔
(ب) بشر کی حدیث الفاظ ہیں کہ ہم نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔ آپ نے فرمایا : کیا میں تمہیں خبر نہ دوں اور فرمایا : جھوٹی گواہی تین بار فرمایا۔
(20380) Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakra apne walid se naql farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: kya main tumhen akbar al-kaba'ir ki khabar na dun? Teen bar farmaya: unhon ne kaha: kyon nahin, aye Allah ke Rasul! Farmaya: 1 Allah ke sath shirk karna 2 Waldain ki nafarmani. Rawi farmate hain ke aap takiya lagaye baithe the. Aap ne farmaya: khabar dar! Jhooti gawahi. Aap baar baar isko dohrate rahe, humne kaha: shayad ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) khamosh hojain.
(b) Bashr ki hadees alfaz hain ke hum Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas baithe hue the. Aap ne farmaya: kya main tumhen khabar na dun aur farmaya: jhooti gawahi teen bar farmaya.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the major sins were mentioned before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said: 1. To ascribe partners with Allah. 2. To murder someone. 3. To disobey one’s parents. 4. To bear false witness, or to lie.

(٢٠٣٨١) انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس کبیرہ گناہوں کا تذکرہ کیا گیا۔ آپ نے فرمایا : 1 اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرنا۔ 2 جان کا قتل کرنا 3 والدین کی نافرمانی کرنا 4 جھوٹی گواہی یا جھوٹی بات۔
(20381) Anas bin Malik (RA) farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass kabira gunahon ka tazkira kiya gaya. Aap ne farmaya: 1 Allah ke sath shirk karna. 2 Jaan ka qatal karna 3 Waldain ki nafarmani karna 4 Jhooti gawahi ya jhooti baat.
Habib ibn Nu'man Asadi narrates from Sayyiduna Kharim ibn Fatik Asadi that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the morning prayer and stood up. Then he said: False witness is equal to associating partners with Allah. He said it three times and recited this verse: {So avoid the uncleanliness of idols and avoid false speech. [Being] Muslims [in submission] to Allah, not associating anything with Him.} [Al-Hajj 30-31] “Avoid the filth of idols and false speech. [They are] devoted to Allah alone, not associating partners with Him.”

(٢٠٣٨٣) حبیب بن نعمان اسدی سیدنا خریم بن فاتک اسدی سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے صبح کی نماز پڑھائی اور کھڑے ہوگئے۔ پھر فرمایا : جھوٹی گواہی، اللہ کے ساتھ شرک میں برابر ہے۔ تین مرتبہ فرمایا اور یہ آیت تلاوت کی { فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الْاَوْثَانِ وَ اجْتَنِبُوْا قَوْلَ الزُّوْرِ ۔ حُنَفَآئَ لِلّٰہِ غَیْرَ مُشْرِکِیْنَ بِہٖ } [الحج ٣٠-٣١] ” بتوں کی پلیدگی اور جھوٹی بات سے بچو۔ وہ اکیلے اللہ کے یکسو ہیں اس کے ساتھ شرک نہیں کرتے۔ “
(20383) Habib bin نعman Asadi Sayyiduna خreem bin Faatak Asadi se naqal farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne subah ki namaz parhai aur kharay hogaye. Phir farmaya: Jhooti gawahi, Allah ke sath shirk mein barabar hai. Teen martaba farmaya aur yeh ayat tilawat ki {فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الْاَوْثَانِ وَ اجْتَنِبُوْا قَوْلَ الزُّوْرِ ۔ حُنَفَآئَ لِلّٰہِ غَیْرَ مُشْرِکِیْنَ بِہٖ } [Al-Hajj 30-31] "Buton ki palidagi aur jhooti baat se bacho. Wo akela Allah ke yaksu hain uske sath shirk nahin karte."
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The feet of a false witness will not move from their place until Hellfire becomes obligatory for him."
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the birds will pick up the false witness with their beaks, strike him with their wings, and throw him out from their bellies. No one will seek him, so avoid it."

(٢٠٣٨٤) ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جھوٹی گواہی دینے والے کے قدم اپنی جگہ سے حرکت نہ کریں گے یہاں تک جہنم اس کے لیے واجب ہوجائے گی۔
رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قیامت کے دن پرندے اپنی چونچوں سے اٹھا کر لائیں گے اور اپنی دموں سے ماریں گے، اور اپنے پیٹوں سے پھینک دیں گے۔ اس کو کوئی طلب کرنے والا نہ ہوگا، تو اس سے بچ۔
(20384) Ibn Umar (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : jhooti gawahi dene wale ke kadam apni jaga se harkat na karenge yahan tak jahannam uske liye wajib hojaegi.
Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : qayamat ke din parinde apni chonchon se utha kar laenge aur apni dumon se marenge, aur apne peton se phenk denge. Usko koi talab karne wala na hoga, to us se bach.
