Sahih al-Bukhari 6737
Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘give the shares of inheritance prescribed in the Qur'an ( ََائِضالْفَر) to those who are entitled to receive it, and then whatever remains, should be given to the closest male relative of the deceased.’
حضرت ابن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے وہ نبی ﷺ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا: ”مقررہ حصے ان کے حقداروں تک پہنچا دو اور جو باقی رہ جائے وہ میت کے سب سے زیادہ قریب والے مرد کے لیے ہے۔“
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai wo Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se bayan karte hain ke Aap ne farmaya: "Muqarrara hisse un ke haq-daron tak pahuncha do aur jo baaki reh jaye wo mayyit ke sab se zyada qareeb wale mard ke liye hai."
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا ، فَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ .
