Ammar ibn Yasir: “Whoever fasts on a day about which there is doubt, then he has disobeyed Abul-Qasim (the Prophet).”
عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ: "جس نے اس دن روزہ رکھا جس کے بارے میں شک ہو تو اس نے ابوالقاسم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نافرمانی کی۔"
Ammar bin Yaasir Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki: "Jis ne us din roza rakha jis ke bare mein shak ho to us ne Abu al Qasim Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki nafarmani ki."
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not precede the fast of Ramadan by fasting a day or two, but if someone is accustomed to fasting regularly then he may fast."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”رمضان کے روزے سے ایک یا دو دن پہلے روزہ نہ رکھو، ہاں اگر کوئی شخص روزہ رکھنے کا عادی ہو تو پھر روزہ رکھ سکتا ہے۔“
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: “Ramzan ke roze se ek ya do din pehle roza na rakho, haan agar koi shakhs roza rakhne ka aadi ho to phir roza rakh sakta hai.”
Imran bin Husain narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said to him, or to another man, "Did you fast any days in the beginning of this month?" He said, "No." He said, "Then when you break your fast, fast a day or two."
حضرت عمران بن حسین رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ان سے یا کسی اور شخص سے فرمایا ”کیا تم نے اس مہینے کے شروع میں کچھ دن روزے رکھے تھے؟“ اس نے کہا کہ ”نہیں“ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا ”تو جب تم روزہ افطار کرلو تو ایک یا دو دن کے روزے رکھ لو۔“
Hazrat Imran bin Husain Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne unse ya kisi aur shakhs se farmaya "kia tumne is mahine ke shuru mein kuch din rozey rakhey thay?" usne kaha ki "nahi" Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya "to jab tum roza iftar karlo to ek ya do din ke rozey rakh lo."
Imran bin Husain narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to him, or to a man who was deaf, "Did you fast any days of Sha'ban?" He said: "No." He said: "Then when you break your fast, fast two days."
حضرت عمران بن حسین رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے یا ایک ایسے شخص سے جو بہرا تھا فرمایا ”کیا تم نے شعبان کے کچھ دن روزے رکھے؟“ اس نے کہا ”نہیں“ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”تو جب تم رمضان کے روزے سے فارغ ہو جاؤ تو دو دن کے روزے رکھ لو“
Hazrat Imran bin Husain Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne unse ya ek aise shakhs se jo bahra tha farmaya "kia tumne Shaban ke kuch din rozey rakhey?" usne kaha "nahi" Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya "to jab tum Ramzan ke rozey se farigh ho jao to do din ke rozey rakh lo"
Narrated Al-Ala' bin Abdur-Rahman: The Prophet ﷺ said: "When it is half of Sha'ban, then fast until Ramadan comes."
حضرت العلاء بن عبدالرحمٰن رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جب شعبان کا نصف گزر جائے تو رمضان تک روزے رکھو۔"
Hazrat al Ala bin Abdur Rahman Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab Shaban ka nisf guzar jaye to Ramzan tak rozey rakho."
Sumak ibn Harb narrated: I entered upon Ikrimah on the day when there was doubt about Ramadan and he was eating. He said, “Come and eat.” I said, “Indeed, I am fasting.” He said, “By Allah, you will definitely eat!” I said, “Then narrate to me.” He said, “Ibn Abbas narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, ‘Do not fast in anticipation of the month. Fast when you sight the crescent moon and break your fast when you sight it. If a cloud or haze prevents you, then complete the count as thirty days.’”
سمک بن حرب بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے اکریماء کے پاس رمضان کے بارے میں شک کے دن داخل ہوا اور وہ کھانا کھا رہے تھے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ "آؤ اور کھاؤ۔" میں نے کہا کہ "میں تو روزے سے ہوں۔" انہوں نے کہا کہ "اللہ کی قسم، تم ضرور کھاؤ گے!" میں نے کہا کہ "تو مجھے حدیث سناؤ۔" انہوں نے کہا کہ "ابن عباس نے مجھے بتایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ "مہینے سے پہلے روزہ نہ رکھو۔ جب تم چاند دیکھو تو روزہ رکھو اور جب تم اسے دیکھو تو اپنا روزہ توڑ دو۔ اگر بادل یا کہرا تمہیں روک دے تو تیس دن پورے کرو۔"
Samak bin Harb bayan karte hain ke maine Akrima ke paas Ramazan ke bare mein shak ke din dakhil hua aur wo khana kha rahe the. Unhon ne kaha ke "Aao aur khao." Maine kaha ke "Main to roze se hun." Unhon ne kaha ke "Allah ki qasam, tum zaroor khao ge!" Maine kaha ke "To mujhe hadees sunao." Unhon ne kaha ke "Ibn Abbas ne mujhe bataya ke Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya ke "Mahine se pehle roza na rakho. Jab tum chand dekho to roza rakho aur jab tum usay dekho to apna roza tor do. Agar badal ya kahra tumhen rok de to tees din pure karo."
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not fast after the middle of Sha'ban until Ramadan comes."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: " شعبان کے نصف کے بعد رمضان کے شروع ہونے تک روزے نہ رکھو"۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Shaban ke nisf ke baad Ramadan ke shuru hone tak rozey na rakho".
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not precede Ramadan by fasting one or two days, except for a man who used to fast a fast, then let him fast that day."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”رمضان سے ایک یا دو دن پہلے روزہ نہ رکھو، ہاں جس شخص کا کوئی روزہ ہو تو وہ اسے رکھے۔“
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Ramzan se ek ya do din pehle roza na rakho, haan jis shakhs ka koi roza ho to wo use rakhe."
Narrated Ibn Umar: that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The month is twenty-nine days, so do not fast until you see it, and do not break your fast until you see it, and if it is cloudy for you, then estimate it."
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مہینہ انتیس دن کا ہوتا ہے تو جب تک تم چاند نہ دیکھ لو روزہ نہ رکھو اور جب تک تمہیں چاند نہ نظر آ جائے روزہ نہ کھولو اور اگر تم پر ابر چھا ہو تو اس کی پورتی کر لو“۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: “Mahina untis din ka hota hai to jab tak tum chand na dekh lo roza na rakho aur jab tak tumhen chand na nazar aa jaye roza na kholo aur agar tum par abr chha ho to is ki pori kar lo”.
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do not fast before Ramadan. Fast when you sight the new moon of Ramadan, and break your fast when you sight the new moon (of Shawwal). If the new moon is obscured from you by clouds, then complete thirty days."
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”رمضان سے پہلے روزے نہ رکھو۔ جب تم رمضان کا چاند دیکھ لو تو روزہ رکھو اور جب (شوال کا) چاند دیکھ لو تو روزہ افطار کرلو۔ اور اگر تم پر (شوال کا) چاند بادلوں کی وجہ سے مخفی رہے تو تیس دن پورے کرلو۔“
Hazrat Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: “Ramzan se pehle roza na rakho. Jab tum Ramzan ka chand dekh lo to roza rakho aur jab (Shawwal ka) chand dekh lo to roza iftar karlo. Aur agar tum par (Shawwal ka) chand badalon ki wajah se mukhtafi rahe to tees din pure karlo.”
Ammar ibn Yasir: Whoever fasts on a day about which he is doubtful, then he has disobeyed Abul-Qasim (the Prophet).
عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ جس شخص نے اس دن روزہ رکھا جس کے بارے میں اسے شک ہو تو اس نے ابوالقاسم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نافرمانی کی۔
Amar bin Yasir Radi Allahu Anhu kehte hain ke jis shakhs ne us din roza rakha jis ke bare mein use shak ho to us ne Abu alqasim sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki nafarmani ki.
Ammar bin Yasir said: We were at Ammar bin Yasir's place on the day of doubt in Ramadan, so a sheep was brought. Then some of the people refrained (from eating). So Ammar bin Yasir said, "Whoever fasts on this day, then he has disobeyed Abul Qasim."
عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم رمضان کے ایک دن جس میں (روزہ رکھنے یا نہ رکھنے میں) شک تھا عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاں موجود تھے کہ ایک دنبہ لایا گیا تو بعض لوگ (کھانے) سے رک گئے تو عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا جس نے آج روزہ رکھا اس نے ابوالقاسم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نافرمانی کی
Ammar bin Yasir razi Allah anhu kehte hain ki hum Ramazan ke ek din jis mein (roza rakhne ya na rakhne mein) shak tha Ammar bin Yasir razi Allah anhu ke han mojood thay ki ek dunba laya gaya to baz log (khane) se ruk gaye to Ammar bin Yasir razi Allah anhu ne farmaya jis ne aaj roza rakha us ne Abu alqasim sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki nafarmani ki
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Do not fast until you see the new moon, and do not break the fast until you see it; but if the weather is cloudy for you, then calculate for it."
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ”جب تک تم نئے چاند کو نہ دیکھ لو روزہ نہ رکھو اور جب تک اسے نہ دیکھ لو روزہ نہ کھولو، ہاں اگر تم پر موسم ابر آلود ہو تو پھر اس کا حساب لگا لو“۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya "Jab tak tum naye chand ko na dekh lo roza na rakho aur jab tak use na dekh lo roza na kholo, haan agar tum par mausam abr aalud ho to phir uska hisab laga lo".
