Abu Zubair narrated to me: I heard Jabir bin Abdullah saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Harshness of hearts and deprivation are in the east, and faith is in the land of Hijaz."
مجھ سے ابوزبیر نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیان کرتے تھے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”سختی دلی اور محرومی مشرق کی طرف ہیں اور ایمان تو سرزمین حجاز میں ہے۔“
Mujh se Abuzubair ne bayan kiya, kaha ki maine Jabir bin Abdullah radi Allahu anhuma se suna, woh Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam se bayan karte the ki aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "Sakhiti dili aur mahrumi mashriq ki taraf hain aur imaan to sarzameen Hijaz mein hai."
Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "The people of Yemen have come to you and they are the most tender-hearted, having the softest hearts. Faith is Yemeni, jurisprudence is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni. Boasting and pride belong to the camel owners, while dignity and serenity belong to the sheep owners."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "تمہارے پاس یمن والے آئے ہیں اور وہ لوگ نرم دل اور رقیق القلب ہوتے ہیں، ایمان یمنی ہے، فقہ یمنی ہے اور حکمت بھی یمنی ہے۔ اونٹ والوں میں تو فخر اور غرور ہوتا ہے اور عزت و وقار تو بھیڑ بکریاں والوں میں ہوتا ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Tumhare pass Yemen wale aye hain aur wo log narm dil aur raqiq ul qalb hote hain, eman Yamani hai, fiqh Yamani hai aur hikmat bhi Yamani hai. Ont walon mein to fakhr aur ghuroor hota hai aur izzat o waqar to bakriyan walon mein hota hai."
Ma'mar narrated to us from Zuhri, from Abi Hazim, from Ibn Abbas that:
While the Prophet ﷺ was in Medina, he said, "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. Allah's help has come, and victory has come, and the people of Yemen have come, people whose hearts are pure and soft, whose obedience is [true] belief. Yemen is faith, Yemen is jurisprudence, and wisdom is Yemenite."
معمر نے ہمیں زہری سے ، انہوں نے ابی حازم سے ، انہوں نے ابن عباس سے روایت کی کہ : نبی کریم ﷺ مدینہ میں تھے کہ آپ نے فرمایا ، اللہ اکبر ، اللہ اکبر ۔ اللہ کی مدد آگئی اور فتح آگئی اور یمن کے لوگ آگئے ، جن کے دل صاف اور نرم ہیں جن کی اطاعت (سچی )ایمان ہے ۔ یمن ایمان ہے ، یمن فقاہت ہے اور دانائی یمنی ہے۔
Muamar ne humein Zuhri se, unhon ne Abi Hazim se, unhon ne Ibn Abbas se riwayat ki keh: Nabi Kareem (ﷺ) Madina mein the keh aap ne farmaya, Allah Akbar, Allah Akbar. Allah ki madad agayi aur fatah agayi aur Yemen ke log agaye, jin ke dil saaf aur narm hain jin ki ita'at (sachi) iman hai. Yemen iman hai, Yemen fiqahat hai aur danai Yamani hai.
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Faith is Yemeni and wisdom is Yemeni. Arrogance is found amongst the owners of camels and mischief is found in the East."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "ایمان یمن کا ہے اور حکمت یمن کی ہے۔ اونٹ والوں میں تکبر پایا جاتا ہے اور فساد مشرق میں پایا جاتا ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya, "Imaan Yaman ka hai aur hikmat Yaman ki hai. Oont walon mein takabbur paya jata hai aur fasaad mashriq mein paya jata hai."
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The people of Yemen have come to you. They have the softest hearts for faith. Belief is Yemeni, jurisprudence is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اہل یمن تمہارے پاس آئے ہیں، وہ لوگ ایمان کے اعتبار سے سب سے زیادہ نرم دل ہوتے ہیں، ایمان یمنی ہے، فقہ یمنی ہے اور حکمت بھی یمنی ہے”۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: ”Ahl Yemen tumhare pass aaye hain, woh log imaan ke aitbar se sab se zyada narm dil hote hain, imaan Yamani hai, fiqh Yamani hai aur hikmat bhi Yamani hai”.
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah, bless us in our Sham! O Allah, bless us in our Yemen!" They said: "And in our Najd?" He said: "O Allah, bless us in our Sham! O Allah, bless us in our Yemen!" They said: "And in our Najd?" He said: "There (in Najd) are the earthquakes and the afflictions and from it will come out the Horn of Satan."
Abu Ya'la reported to us: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When the people of Syria are corrupted, there will be no good in you."
حضرت ابو یعلیٰ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "جب شام کے رہنے والے بگڑ جائیں گے تو تم میں کوئی خیر باقی نہیں رہے گی۔"
Hazrat Abu Ya'la riwayat karte hain ki Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya, "Jab sham ke rahne wale bigar jayenge to tum mein koi khair baqi nahi rahegi."
Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When the people of Sham are corrupted, there will be no good in you."
معاویہ بن قرة اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا جب اہل شام فاسد ہو جائیں گے تو تم میں کوئی بھلائی باقی نہیں رہے گی۔
Muawiya bin Qura apne walid se riwayat karte hain keh Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya jab ehl e Sham fasid ho jayen ge to tum mein koi bhalai baqi nahi rahe gi
Yazid bin Abi Habib, on the authority of Ibn Shimasa, who said that he heard Zaid bin Thabit say:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said one day while we were with him: "Blessed is Syria." They said: "Why O Messenger of Allah?" He ﷺ said: "The angels of the Most Merciful have spread their wings over it."
یزید بن ابی حبیب، حضرت ابن شمسہ کی سند سے روایت کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے حضرت زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا:
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک دن ہمارے پاس فرمایا: "شام کیسا بابرکت ہے۔" صحابہ نے کہا: "کیوں یا رسول اللہ؟" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اس پر رحمن کے فرشتوں نے اپنے پر پھیلا رکھے ہیں۔"
Yazid bin Abi Habib Hazrat Ibn Shamsah ki sanad se riwayat karte hain, unhon ne kaha ke maine Hazrat Zaid bin Sabit Radi Allahu Anhu ko ye kehte huye suna:
Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne ek din hamare pass farmaya: "Shaam kaisa babarakt hai." Sahaba ne kaha: "Kyun Ya Rasool Allah?" Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Iss par Rehman ke farishton ne apne par pheela rakhe hain."
Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us from Abu Qilaba, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "A fire will come out of Hadramawt in the end of time which will drive the people." We said, "What do you order us to do, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "You should go to Ash-Sham."
یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر نے ہمیں ابوقلابہ سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے سلیم بن عبداللہ سے ، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے ، جنہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "آخر زمانہ میں حضرموت سے ایک آگ نکلے گی جو لوگوں کو ہانکے گی ۔" ہم نے کہا ، "اللہ کے رسول! آپ ہمیں کیا حکم دیتے ہیں؟" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "تمہیں شام چلے جانا چاہیے۔"
Yahiya bin Abi Kathir ne humein Abu Qilaba se hadees bayan ki, unhon ne Saleem bin Abdullah se, unhon ne apne walid se, jinhon ne kaha ke Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Akhir zaman mein Hadramaut se ek aag niklegi jo logon ko hankegi." Hum ne kaha, "Allah ke Rasul! Aap humein kya hukum dete hain?" Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Tumhein Sham chale jana chahiye."
Mak-hul narrated to us: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "You will soon make expeditions in swarms, (an army) to Syria, (an army) to Iraq and (an army) to Yemen." I said, "Messenger of Allah! Assign me (to a place)." He said, "Join the Syrian expedition, and if you are unwilling, then join your family and irrigate (your land) from your small water reservoirs, for Allah has taken upon Himself the responsibility of Syria and its people for me."
مَخُول نے ہمیں بیان کیا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” عنقریب تم فوج در فوج شام کی مہم میں جاؤ گے، عراق کی مہم میں جاؤ گے اور یمن کی مہم میں جاؤ گے “۔ میں نے عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول! مجھے بھی ( کسی مہم پر ) متعین فرما دیجئے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” تم شام کی مہم میں شامل ہو جاؤ اور اگر تم اس پر راضی نہیں تو اپنے اہل و عیال میں ( واپس ) چلے جاؤ اور اپنے چھوٹے چھوٹے ڈیموں سے ( کھیتوں کو ) سیراب کرو، کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے میری طرف سے شام اور اہل شام کی ذمہ داری لے لی ہے “۔
Makhool ne humain bayan kya, Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Anqareeb tum foj dar foj Sham ki muhim mein jaoge, Iraq ki muhim mein jaoge aur Yemen ki muhim mein jaoge". Maine arz kiya: "Allah ke Rasool! Mujhe bhi (kisi muhim per) mutaien farma dijiye". Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Tum Sham ki muhim mein shamil ho jao aur agar tum is per raazi nahin to apne ahlo ayaal mein (wapas) chale jao aur apne chhote chhote damon se (khaiton ko) seeraab karo, kyunki Allah ta'ala ne meri taraf se Sham aur ahle Sham ki zimmedari le li hai".
Narrated An-Nawwas Ibn Sam'an: A victory was granted to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), so I came to him and said: The horses have been set loose and the weapons have been laid down. War has laid down its burdens, and the people are saying, "There will be no more fighting." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "They are lying. Now fighting has come! Now fighting has come! Allah Almighty will certainly cause the hearts of some people to deviate so they will fight you and Allah will grant you provision from them till the Decree of Allah comes to pass, and the resort of the believers is Syria."
حضرت النواس بن سمعان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایک فتح عطا ہوئی تو میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کی کہ گھوڑے کھول دیے گئے ہیں اور ہتھیار رکھ دیے گئے ہیں اور جنگ نے اپنا بوجھ اتار دیا ہے اور لوگ کہہ رہے ہیں کہ اب جنگ نہیں ہوگی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ لوگ جھوٹ بول رہے ہیں ابھی تو جنگ شروع ہوئی ہے۔ ابھی تو جنگ شروع ہوئی ہے اللہ تعالیٰ ضرور بعض لوگوں کے دلوں کو پھیر دے گا پھر وہ تم سے لڑیں گے اور اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں ان سے روزی دے گا یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا حکم آ جائے اور اہل ایمان کا مرکز شام ہے۔
Hazrat un Nuwas bin Saman Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Allah ke Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko ek fatah ata hui to main aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz ki ke ghore khol diye gaye hain aur hathiyar rakh diye gaye hain aur jang ne apna bojh utar diya hai aur log keh rahe hain ki ab jang nahi hogi. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Ye log jhoot bol rahe hain abhi to jang shuru hui hai. Abhi to jang shuru hui hai Allah Ta'ala zaroor baaz logon ke dilon ko phir de ga phir wo tum se laden ge aur Allah Ta'ala tumhen un se rozi de ga yahan tak ke Allah Ta'ala ka hukum aa jaye aur ahle eman ka markaz Sham hai.
Abu Huraira said: We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when the verse was revealed, "And others of them who have not yet joined them..." A man said, "Who are these, O Messenger of Allah?" But he did not answer him. He repeated the question and Salman passed by, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, struck his shoulder and said, "If faith were suspended at the highest star, men from among these people would reach it."
ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے کہ یہ آیت نازل ہوئی: {وآخرون} «1» ایک آدمی نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ کون لوگ ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے کوئی جواب نہ دیا، اس نے سوال دہرایا، اتنے میں سلمان رضی اللہ عنہ وہاں سے گزرے، تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے کندھے پر ہاتھ مار کر فرمایا: اگر ایمان ثریا ستارے پر بھی لٹکا دیا جائے تو ان لوگوں میں سے کچھ اسے حاصل کر لیں گے۔

Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu kehte hain ki hum Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath the ke ye ayat nazil hui: {wa akharoon} Aik admi ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasul! Ye kaun log hain? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne use koi jawab na diya, us ne sawal dohraya, itne mein Salman razi Allah anhu wahan se guzre, to Nabi kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne un ke kandhe par hath mar kar farmaya: Agar iman Surayya sitare par bhi latka diya jaye to un logon mein se kuchh use hasil kar lenge.
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "If knowledge were in the Pleiades, some of the Persians would have attained it."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اگر علم ثریا ستارے پر بھی ہوتا تو فارس کے کچھ لوگ اسے حاصل کر لیتے“۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya agar ilm suraya sitaare par bhi hota to Faris ke kuch log usay hasil kar lete
Abu Burda al-Aslami said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent a man to a tribe of the Arabs for some reason, but I do not know what he said. They insulted him and beat him, so he returned to the Prophet and complained to him. The Prophet said, "Verily, if my messenger had gone to the people of Oman, they would not have insulted him or beaten him."
ابو بردہ الاسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو کسی کام سے کسی قبیلے میں بھیجا، مجھے نہیں معلوم کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کیا فرمایا تھا۔ انہوں نے اسے برا بھلا کہا اور اسے مارا پیٹا، چنانچہ وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس واپس آیا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے شکایت کی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اگر میرا یہ قاصد اہلِ عمان کے پاس جاتا تو وہ اسے برا بھلا نہ کہتے اور نہ ہی اسے مارتے پیٹتے۔“
Abu Burda al-Aslami razi Allah anhu kahte hain ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne ek shakhs ko kisi kaam se kisi qabile mein bheja, mujhe nahin maloom ki aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne kya farmaya tha. Unhon ne use bura bhala kaha aur use mara peeta, chunancha woh Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke paas wapas aaya aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam se shikayat ki. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Agar mera ye qasid ahle-Oman ke paas jata to woh use bura bhala na kahte aur na hi use marte peette."
