Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1370
Hazrat Abu Mas'ud Uqbah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Verily, the sun and the moon are not eclipsed because of the death of someone, but they are two of the signs of Allah. So when you see them, pray.” Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) said that in the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying “So when you see them, pray”, there is evidence for the opinion of Imam al-Muzani (may Allah have mercy on him). In this matter, which our companions (the Hadith scholars) have opposed them in, a man swears an oath to his two wives saying that if you both give birth to a child, then you will both be divorced. Imam al-Muzani (may Allah have mercy on him) said that when one of them gives birth to a child, then both will be divorced. Because it is certain that both women cannot give birth to one child at the same time. Rather, one woman will give birth to one child. Therefore, the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying “So when you see them, pray” means that when you see the eclipse of either of them, pray, because it is certain that the sun and the moon are not eclipsed at the same time, just as two women cannot give birth to the same child.

سیدنا ابومسعود عقبہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بیشک سورج اور چاند کو کسی کی موت کی وجہ سے گر ہن نہیں لگتا، لیکن وہ دونوں اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے دو نشانیاں ہیں، لہٰذا جب تم یہ نشانی دیکھو تو نماز پڑھو۔“ امام ابوبکر رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا یہ ارشاد گرامی کہ ”جب تم یہ نشانی دیکھو تو نماز پڑھو۔“ اس میں امام مزنی رحمه الله کے مذہب کی دلیل و حجت موجود ہے۔ اس مسئلہ میں جس میں ہمارے اصحاب محدثین نے ان کی مخالف کہ ہے کہ قسم کھانے والے کی جب دو بیویاں ہوں اور وہ اُن سے کہے کہ جب تم دونوں بچہ پیدا کروگی تو تم دونوں کو طلاق ہو جائے گی۔ امام مزنی رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ جب ان میں سے ایک عورت نے بچّے کو جنم دے دیا تو دونوں کو طلاق ہو جائے گی۔ کیونکہ یہ بات یقینی ہے کہ دونوں عورتیں بیک وقت ایک ہی بچّے کو جنم نہیں دے سکتیں۔ بلکہ ایک عورت ایک بچّے کو ہی جنم دے گی۔ لہٰذا نبی کریم کا یہ فرمان کہ ”جب تم یہ نشانی دیکھو تو نماز پڑھو۔“ اس سے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی مراد یہ ہے کہ جب تم ان میں سے کسی ایک کا گرہن دیکھو تو نماز پڑھو، کیونکہ یہ بات یقینی ہے کہ سورج اور چاند کو بیک وقت گرہن نہیں لگتا، جس طرح کہ دو عورتیں ایک ہی بچّے کو جنم نہیں دے سکتیں۔
Sayyidina Abu Masood Uqba bin Amro Radi Allahu Anhu Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam se riwayat karte hain ki aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: “Bashk Suraj aur Chand ko kisi ki maut ki wajah se Grahan nahi lagta, lekin woh dono Allah ki nishaniyon mein se do nishaniyan hain, lihaza jab tum ye nishani dekho to Namaz padho.” Imam Abu Bakr Rahmatullah Alaih farmate hain ki aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ka ye irshad girami ki “Jab tum ye nishani dekho to Namaz padho.” Is mein Imam Mazni Rahmatullah Alaih ke mazhab ki daleel o hujjat mojood hai. Is masle mein jis mein hamare ashaab muhaddiseen ne un ki mukhalif kaha hai ki qasam khane wale ki jab do biwiyan hon aur woh un se kahe ki jab tum dono baccha paida karogi to tum dono ko talaq ho jayegi. Imam Mazni Rahmatullah Alaih farmate hain ki jab in mein se ek aurat ne bacche ko janam de diya to dono ko talaq ho jayegi. Kyunki ye baat yaqeeni hai ki dono aurten ek waqt ek hi bacche ko janam nahi de saktin. Balki ek aurat ek bacche ko hi janam degi. Lihaza Nabi Kareem ka ye farmaan ki “Jab tum ye nishani dekho to Namaz padho.” Is se aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki murad ye hai ki jab tum in mein se kisi ek ka Grahan dekho to Namaz padho, kyunki ye baat yaqeeni hai ki Suraj aur Chand ko ek waqt Grahan nahi lagta, jis tarah ki do aurten ek hi bacche ko janam nahi de saktin.
حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ، وَلَكِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهَا فَصَلُّوا" . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهَا فَصَلُّوا، دِلالَةٌ عَلَى حُجَّةِ مَذْهَبِ الْمُزَنِيِّ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ الَّتِي خَالَفَهُ فِيهَا بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا فِي الْحَالِفِ إِذَا كَانَ لَهُ امْرَأَتَانِ، فَقَالَ: إِذَا وَلَدْتُمَا وَلَدًا فَأَنْتُمَا طَالِقَتَانِ، قَالَ الْمُزَنِيُّ: إِذَا وَلَدَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا وَلَدًا طُلِّقَتَا إِذِ الْعِلْمُ مُحِيطٌ أَنَّ الْمَرْأَتَيْنِ لا تَلِدَانِ جَمِيعًا وَلَدًا وَاحِدًا، وَإِنَّمَا تَلِدُ وَاحِدًا امْرَأَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ، فَقَوْلُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهَا فَصَلُّوا"، إِنَّمَا أَرَادَ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ كُسُوفَ إِحْدَاهُمَا فَصَلُّوا، إِذِ الْعِلْمُ مُحِيطٌ أَنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لا يَنْكَسِفَانِ فِي وَقْتٍ وَاحِدٍ، كَمَا لا تَلِدُ امْرَأَتَانِ وَلَدًا وَاحِدًا
