Mustadrak Al Hakim 2921
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse "وما كان لنبي ان يغل" with a "fatha" on the Ya. This hadith is Sahih al-Isnad, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.
" حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے یہ آیت ’’ وما کان لنبی ان یَّغُل ‘‘ یاء کے فتحہ کے ساتھ پڑھی ۔ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Ibn Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW ne yeh ayat ''Wama Kaan Li Nabi An Yaghul'' Yaa ke fatha ke sath parhi. Yeh hadees sahih al isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ne ise naqal nahi kya.
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُؤَمَّلِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عِيسَى، ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ مِينَاءَ قَالُونُ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو غَزِيَّةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْقَاضِي، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْأَشْهَلِيُّ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: "" أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ: {وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَغُلَّ} [آل عمران: 161] بِفَتْحِ الْيَاءِ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 2921 - بل واه
