It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There are five animals which a Muhrim (person in the state of Ihram) can kill without any sin: a rat, a scorpion, a crow, a kite and a biting dog.
حضرت ابن عمر سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : پانچ جانور ایسے ہیں کہ اگر محرم ان کو مار دے تو اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں، چوہا، بچھو، کوا، چیل اور کاٹ کھانے والا کتا۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar se marvi hai keh Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Panch janwar aise hain keh agar muhrim in ko maar de to us par koi gunah nahi, chooha, bichhu, kawa, cheel aur kaat khanay wala kutta.
A person asked Hazrat Ibn Umar which animals are permissible to kill during the Hajj. He replied, "One of the pure wives narrated a tradition that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered to kill rats, scorpion-biting dogs, kites, and crows.
ایک شخص نے حضرت ابن عمر سے دریافت کیا کہ محرم کون سے جانوروں کو مار سکتا ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ مجھ سے ازواج مطہرات میں سے ایک نے حدیث بیان فرمائی کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے حکم فرمایا کہ چوہے، بچھو کاٹ کھانے والے کتے ، چیل اور کوے کو مار دو ۔
Ek shakhs ne Hazrat Ibn Umar se daryaft kiya ke muhrim kon se janwaron ko maar sakta hai? Aap ne farmaya ke mujh se azwaj mutahirat mein se ek ne hadees bayaan farmaai ke Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne hukm farmaya ke chuhe, bichhu kaat khane wale kutte, cheel aur kauwe ko maar do.
Hazrat Saeed ibn al-Musayyab advised that a Muhrim (person in the state of Ihram for Hajj or Umrah) can kill five animals: scorpion, snake, kite, crow and dog.
حضرت سعید بن المسیب ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ محرم شخص پانچ جانوروں کو مار سکتا ہے، بچھو، سانپ، بھیڑیا، کوا اور کتا۔
Hazrat Saeed bin al Musayyab irshad farmate hain keh mehram shakhs panch janwaron ko maar sakta hai, bichhu, saanp, bhediya, kau aur kuta.
Hazrat Tariq bin Shahab says: I passed by some snakes, I was in the state of Ihram, I killed them with my stick, then when I came to Hazrat Umar, I asked you about killing them, you said that kill them, surely they are your enemies.
حضرت طارق بن شہاب فرماتے ہیں میں کچھ سانپوں کے پاس سے گزرا، میں حالت احرام میں تھا میں نے ان کو اپنے عصا سے مار ڈالا، پھر جب میں حضرت عمر کے پاس آیا تو میں نے آپ سے ان کے مارنے کے متعلق پوچھا آپ نے فرمایا کہ ان کو مار دیا کرو بیشک وہ تمہارے دشمن ہیں۔
Hazrat Tariq Bin Shahab farmate hain mein kuch saanpon ke paas se guzra, mein halat ehram mein tha maine un ko apne asa se maar dala, phir jab mein Hazrat Umar ke paas aaya to maine aapse un ke marne ke mutalliq poocha aap ne farmaya ke un ko maar diya karo beshak wo tumhare dushman hain.
Narrated Nafi': We were with Ibn 'Umar while we were in the state of Ihram, and we saw a snake. Salim went forward and killed it.
حضرت نافع سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ حضرت ابن عمر کے ساتھ تھے اور ہم لوگ حالت احرام میں تھے کہ ہم نے ایک سانپ کو دیکھا تو حضرت سالم آگے بڑھے اور اس کو مار ڈالا۔
Hazrat Nafi se marvi hai ki hum log Hazrat Ibn Umar ke sath the aur hum log halat ehraam mein the ki humne ek saanp ko dekha to Hazrat Salem aage barhe aur usko maar dala.
Hazrat Ali says that if a hunting dog attacks a Muhrim, he should kill it, but if he kills it before it attacks, then a big goat will be obligatory on him as an atonement.
حضرت علی ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ بجو اگر محرم پر حملہ کر دے تو وہ اس کو مار ڈالے اور اگر حملہ کرنے سے پہلے ہی مار ڈالا تو اس پر بڑی بکری لازم ہے۔
Hazrat Ali irshad farmate hain keh bajoo agar muharram par hamla kar de to woh us ko maar dale aur agar hamla karne se pehle hi maar dala to us par barri bakri lazim hai.
Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Kill snakes, scorpions, rats, dogs, and crows." He was asked why "al-fawasiq" (evil, sinful) had been added to crows. They said, "Because one of them was about to set fire to the house with a burning stick when the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, woke up."
حضرت ابو سعید ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ محرم آدمی سانپ، بچھو، درندوں، کتے اور چھوٹے چوہے کو مارے گا، ان سے عرض کیا گیا کہ چوہے کے ساتھ ” الفویسقہ “ کی قید کیوں لگائی ؟ آپ نے فرمایا کیونکہ یہ آگ کی بتی سے گھر کو جلانے ہی والا تھا کہ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی آنکھ کھل گئی۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed irshad farmate hain ke muhrim aadmi sanp, bichhu, darindon, kutte aur chhote chuhe ko mare ga, un se arz kiya gaya ke chuhe ke sath "alfoisqa" ki qaid kyun lagayi? Aap ne farmaya kyunki yeh aag ki batti se ghar ko jalane hi wala tha ke Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki aankh khul gayi.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is permissible for a Muhrim (a person in the state of Ihram) to kill a rat, a scorpion, a kite, a crow, and a biting dog."
حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : محرم کو چاہیے کہ وہ چوہے کو، بچھو کو، چیل کو، کوے کو اور کاٹ کھانے والے کتے کو مار دے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se marvi hai keh Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Muharram ko chahiye keh woh chuhe ko, bichhu ko, cheel ko, kauwe ko aur kaat khane wale kutte ko maar de.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ayesha that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in the same way, except that he added that it would also kill snakes.
حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اسی طرح ارشاد فرمایا : صرف اس میں اس بات کا اضافہ ہے کہ سانپ کو بھی مارے گا۔
Hazrat Ayesha se marvi hai ki Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne isi tarah irshad farmaya: Sirf is mein is baat ka izafa hai ki saanp ko bhi maarey ga.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ayesha that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There are five things that can be killed in the Haram: a kite, a crow, a dog, a rat, and a scorpion.
حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : پانچ چیزیں ایسی ہیں جن کو حرم میں قتل کیا جاسکتا ہے، چیل، کوا، کتا، چوہا اور بچھو۔
