Hazrat Muhajir al-Makki narrates that a person asked Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah, "If one of us sees the Kaaba, should he raise his hands?" You said, "This is the way of the Jews. We performed Hajj with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and we did not do this."
حضرت مہاجر المکی فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ سے دریافت کیا کہ ہم میں سے کوئی شخص بیت اللہ کو دیکھے تو کیا وہ ہاتھوں کو بلند کرے گا ؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ یہ یہودیوں کا طریقہ ہے، ہم لوگوں نے حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ حج کیا ہم نے ایسا نہیں کیا تھا۔
Hazrat Muhajir Al-Makki farmate hain ke aik shakhs ne Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah se daryaft kiya ke hum mein se koi shakhs Baitullah ko dekhe to kiya woh hathon ko buland karega? Aap ne farmaya ke yeh yahudion ka tareeqa hai, hum logon ne Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke saath Hajj kiya hum ne aisa nahin kiya tha.
It was asked to Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah, whether a person will raise his hands at the time of seeing Baitullah? You said, we people performed Hajj with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we people did this.
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ سے دریافت کیا گیا کہ کیا آدمی بیت اللہ کو دیکھنے کے وقت ہاتھوں کو بلند کرے گا ؟ آپ نے فرمایا ہم لوگوں نے حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ حج کیا، ہم لوگوں نے ایسا کیا تھا۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah se daryaft kiya gaya keh kya aadmi Baitullah ko dekhne ke waqt hathon ko buland kare ga? Aap ne farmaya hum logon ne Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sath Hajj kiya, hum logon ne aisa kiya tha.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas narrated that one should raise their hands in prayer at seven places: while saying the Takbir-e-Tahrima (the opening Allahu Akbar), when looking at the Kaaba, on Safa, on Marwah, at Arafah, at Muzdalifah, and while throwing stones (at Jamarat).
حضرت ابن عباس ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ سات مقامات پر ہاتھ اٹھائے جائیں گے، تکبیر تحریمہ کہتے وقت، جب بیت اللہ پر نظر پڑے، صفا پر، مروہ پر، عرفات میں، مزدلفہ میں اور رمی کرتے وقت۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas irshad farmate hain keh saat maqamat par hath uthaye jayen ge, takbeer tahreema kehte waqt, jab baitullah par nazar parre, safa par, marwah par, arafaat mein, muzdalifa mein aur rami karte waqt.
The companions of Hazrat Abdullah narrate that hands will be raised at eight places: when the sight falls upon the Kaaba, at Safa and Marwa, in Arafah, in Muzdalifah, and while throwing stones at the three Jamarat.
حضرت عبداللہ کے اصحاب فرماتے ہیں کہ ہاتھوں کو آٹھ مقامات پر اٹھایا جائے گا، بیت اللہ پر نظر پڑے، صفا ومروہ پر، عرفات میں، مزدلفہ میں اور دو جمرات کی رمی کرتے وقت۔
Hazrat Abdullah ke ashab farmate hain ke hathon ko aath maqamat par uthaya jayega, Baitullah par nazar pade, Safa o Marwa par, Arafaat mein, Muzdalifa mein aur do jumrat ki rami karte waqt.
Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Khizr (A.S) state that hands should be raised in prayer while looking at the Kaaba, and also raised at Safa and Marwah, and in Muzdalifah.
حضرت ابراہیم اور حضرت خیثمہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ہاتھوں کو نماز میں، بیت اللہ پر نظر پڑے تب، صفا ومروہ اور مزدلفہ میں بلند کیا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Ibrahim aur Hazrat Khatima farmate hain ke hathon ko namaz mein, Baitullah par nazar paray tab, Safa o Marwa aur Muzdalifa mein buland kiya jayega.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that hands should not be raised except in eight places: in Takbeer Tahrima (the opening Takbeer of prayer), when entering a city, when seeing the Kaaba, when standing on Safa and Marwah, in Arafah, in Muzdalifah, and when throwing stones at the Jamarat.
حضرت ابن عباس ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ آٹھ جگہوں کے علاوہ ہاتھوں کو بلند نہیں کیا جائے گا، تکبیر تحریمہ میں، جب کسی شہر میں جاؤ تب، جب بیت اللہ پر نظر پڑے، جب صفا ومروہ پر کھڑے ہو، عرفات میں، مزدلفہ میں اور جمرات کی رمی کرتے وقت۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas irshad farmate hain ke aath jagahoon ke ilawa hathon ko buland nahi kia jaye ga, takbeer tahreema mein, jab kisi shehar mein jao tab, jab baitullah par nazar pare, jab safa o marwa par khare ho, arafaat mein, muzdalifa mein aur jumrat ki rami karte waqt.
