Hazrat Tha'labah ibn Hakeem narrates that we got some goats of the enemy, so we lifted them (took them). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered to overturn the pots, so we overturned the pots. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that looting is not permissible.
حضرت ثعلبہ بن حکم فرماتے ہیں کہ ہمیں دشمن کی کچھ بکریاں ملیں تو ہم نے ان کو اٹھا لیا (لوٹ لیا) آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دیگچوں کو الٹانے کا حکم دیا تو ہم نے ہانڈیوں کو الٹا دیا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا لوٹ مار حلال نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Sa'laba bin Hakam farmate hain ke humein dushman ki kuch bakriya mili to hum ne un ko utha liya (loot liya) Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne degchon ko ulatane ka hukum diya to hum ne handiyon ko ulta diya, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya loot maar halal nahi hai.
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade looting and said, "Whoever loots does not belong to us."
حضرت انس (رض) ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے لوٹ مار سے منع فرمایا اور فرمایا جو لوٹ کھسوٹ کرے وہ ہم میں سے نہیں۔
Hazrat Anas (RA) irshad farmate hain keh Aanhazat (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne loot maar se mana farmaya aur farmaya jo loot khasoot kare woh hum mein se nahi.
Hazrat Kaleeb narrates from a companion that we were with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on an expedition. We got very hungry and we found some goats, so we snatched them before distributing them (as booty). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us while he was leaning on his bow. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to our cooking pots and overturned them with his bow and said: "The looted thing is not more lawful than carrion. (The ruling of both is the same)."
حضرت کلیب ایک صحابی سے روایت کرتے ہیں وہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ ایک غزوہ میں حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ تھے ہمیں سخت بھوک لگی ، ہم نے کچھ بکریاں پائیں تو ہم نے ان کو تقسیم سے پہلے لوٹ لیا، آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمارے پاس اس حال میں تشریف لائے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنی کمان پر سہارا لیے ہوئے تھے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہماری ہانڈیوں کے پاس تشریف لائے اور ان کو کمان سے الٹ دیا اور فرمایا : لوٹی ہوئی چیز مردار سے زیادہ حلال نہیں ہے۔ (دونوں کا حکم برابر ہے) ۔
Hazrat Kulaib aik sahabi se riwayat karte hain woh farmate hain keh hum log aik ghazwa mein Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke saath thay humein sakht bhook lagi, hum ne kuch bakriya payi to hum ne un ko taqseem se pehle loot liya, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hamare pass is hal mein tashreef laaye keh Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) apni kaman par sahara liye hue thay, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hamari handiyon ke pass tashreef laaye aur un ko kaman se ulat diya aur farmaya: Looti hui cheez murdar se ziyada halal nahin hai. (Dono ka hukum barabar hai).
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) said: "No believer can lift something in the state of faith that is so honorable and dignified that people's eyes would rise towards him for lifting it."
حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : کوئی بھی شخص مومن ہونے کی حالت میں ایسی چیز نہیں اٹھا سکتا کہ جو شرف و عظمت والی ہو اور اس کو اٹھانے سے لوگوں کی نظریں اس کی طرف اٹھیں۔
Hazoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Koi bhi shakhs momin hone ki halat mein aisi cheez nahin utha sakta keh jo sharaf o azmat wali ho aur usko uthane se logon ki nazren uski taraf uthen.
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (R.A) that whoever picks up any precious thing and becomes famous among the Muslims (meaning that everyone starts to dislike his this act), then he is not one of us, the narrator says that I asked Abu al-Zubayr (R.A) whether this is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)? You (R.A) said yes, it is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
حضرت جابر (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ جس کسی نے بھی کوئی قیمتی چیز اٹھائی جس کی وجہ سے مسلمانوں میں وہ مشہور ہوگیا (یعنی سب اس کے اس فعل کو برا جاننے لگے) تو وہ ہم میں سے نہیں ہے، راوی فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابو الز بیر (رض) سے پوچھا کہ یہ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے منقول ہے ؟ آپ (رض) نے فرمایا ہاں حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے مروی ہے۔
Hazrat Jaber (RA) se marvi hai keh jis kisi ne bhi koi qeemti cheez uthai jis ki waja se musalmanon mein woh mashhoor hogaya (yani sab us ke iss fail ko bura jaan'ne lage) toh woh hum mein se nahi hai, ravi farmate hain keh maine Abu al Zubair (RA) se poocha keh yeh Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se manqool hai? Aap (RA) ne farmaya haan Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se marvi hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Khalid Al-Juhani that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade looting and retaliation.
حضرت خالد الجھنی سے مروی ہے کہ آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے لوٹ کھسوٹ اور مثلہ کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Hazrat Khalid Al Juhani se marvi hai ki Aanhazrat (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne loot khasoot aur muslah karne se mana farmaya hai.
