Regarding a man entering his house, what he should say
فِي الرَّجُلِ يَدْخُلُ مَنْزِلَهُ مَا يَقُولُ

Hazrat Amr bin Abi Qarah al-Kindi narrates that Hazrat Salman and my father walked until both of them reached Hazrat Salman's house. Hazrat Salman entered the house and said: Peace be upon you. Then, you allowed Abu Qarah to enter.
حضرت عمرو بن ابی قرۃ الکندی فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت سلمان اور میرے والد چلے یہاں تک کہ یہ دونوں حضرت سلمان کے گھر پہنچے اور حضرت سلمان گھر میں داخل ہوئے اور فرمایا : السلام علیکم ، پھر آپ نے ابو قرہ کو داخل ہونے کی اجازت دی۔
Hazrat Amr bin Abi Qarat ul Kindi farmate hain ke Hazrat Salman aur mere walid chale yahan tak ke ye donon Hazrat Salman ke ghar pohanche aur Hazrat Salman ghar mein dakhil hue aur farmaya: Assalam o Alaikum, phir aap ne Abu Qarah ko dakhil hone ki ijazat di.
Hazrat Abdul Malik narrates that Hazrat Ata said: When you enter upon your family, say like this: Assalamu Alaikum: Translation: Peace be upon you: a blessed greeting from Allah.
حضرت عبد الملک فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عطائ نے ارشاد فرمایا : جب تم اپنے گھر والوں پر داخل ہو تو یوں کہو : السلام علیکم : ترجمہ : سلام نیک دعا ہے اللہ کے یہاں سے برکت والی ستھری۔
Hazrat Abdul Malik farmate hain keh Hazrat Ataa ne irshad farmaya : Jab tum apne ghar walon per dakhil ho to yun kaho : Assalamu alaikum : Tarjuma : Salam naik dua hai Allah ke yahan se barkat wali sathi.
Hazrat Abu Khalda narrates that when I entered the house of Hazrat Abu al-Aliyah (may Allah have mercy on him), he greeted (peace be upon him) although there was no one in the house and recited some words that I could not understand.
حضرت ابو خلدہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت ابو العالیہ کے ساتھ ان کے گھر میں داخل ہوا تو آپ نے سلام کیا حالانکہ گھر میں کوئی نہیں تھا اور کچھ کلمات پڑھے جن کو میں سمجھ نہیں سکا۔
Hazrat Abu Khalida farmate hain ki mein Hazrat Abu Al Aliya ke sath unke ghar mein dakhil hua to ap ne salam kiya halanki ghar mein koi nahi tha aur kuch kalimat padhe jin ko mein samajh nahi saka.
Hazrat Ibn Aun narrates: Imam Muhammad has said regarding the saying of Allah Almighty, "{ وَالَّذِینَ لَمْ یَبْلُغُوا الْحُلُمَ مِنْکُمْ }" translation: "And those of you who have not yet reached puberty." that the people of our household used to teach us to say salam and when any one of us came, he would say, "Peace be upon you. May so-and-so enter?".
حضرت ابن عون فرماتے ہیں کہ امام محمد نے اللہ رب العزت کے اس قول : { وَالَّذِینَ لَمْ یَبْلُغُوا الْحُلُمَ مِنْکُمْ } ترجمہ : اور تم میں سے وہ لوگ جو بلوغ کو پہنچ چکے ہیں۔
اس کے بارے میں ارشاد فرمایا : کہ ہمارے گھر والے ہمیں سکھاتے تھے کہ ہم سلام کریں اور جب ہم میں کوئی آتا تو وہ یوں کہتا۔ السلام علیکم۔ کیا فلاں داخل ہوجائے ؟۔
Hazrat Ibn Aun farmate hain keh Imam Muhammad ne Allah Rab ul Izzat ke iss qoul: {WAL LAZEENA LAM YABLUGHUL HULUMA MINKUM} tarjuma: Aur tum mein se wo log jo buloogh ko pohanch chuke hain. Iss ke bare mein irshad farmaya: Ke humare ghar wale humein sikhaate thay keh hum salaam karein aur jab hum mein koi aata to wo yun kehta. Assalamu Alaikum. Kya falan dakhil hojae?.
Hazrat Abdul Kareem narrates that Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz used to say these words when entering the house. Translation: In the name of Allah, I enter, and all praise is for Allah, there is no power to do good except with Allah's help, and peace and blessings be upon the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). O Allah! Open for me the doors of Your mercy, and make me enter the place of truth and take me out of the place of truth and purify me. Grant me clear help from Your presence and grant me mercy from Yourself, surely You are the Most Bestower. O Allah! Protect me from above, lest I be snatched away, and protect me from beneath my feet, lest I sink into it, and protect me from my right and my left from the accursed Satan.
حضرت عبد الکریم فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عمر بن عبد العزیز جب گھر میں داخل ہوتے تو یہ کلمات کہتے۔ ترجمہ : اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ داخل ہوتا ہیں۔ اور سب تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں ، نیکی کرنے کی طاقت نہیں ہے مگر اللہ کی مدد سے، اور اللہ کے نیا (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر سلام ہو، اے اللہ ! تو میرے لیے اپنی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے، اور تو مجھے سچائی کی جگہ میں داخل فرما اور مجھے سچائی کی جگہ نکال اور خالص کر دے میرے لیے اپنی جناب سے واضح مدد اور اپنی طرف سے مجھے رحمت عطا فرما، بیشک تو بہت عطا فرمانے والا ہے۔ اے اللہ ! تو اوپر سے میری حفاظت فرما اس بات سے کہ میں اچک لیا جاؤں، اور میری دونوں ٹانگوں کے نیچے سے بھی میری حفاظت فرما اس بات سے کہ میں اس میں دھنس جاؤں، اور میرے دائیں اور بائیں سے بھی حفاظت فرما شیطان مردود سے۔
Hazrat Abdul Kareem farmate hain keh Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz jab ghar mein dakhil hote to yeh kalmat kehte. Tarjuma: Allah ke naam ke sath dakhil hota hun. Aur sab tarifain Allah ke liye hain, neki karne ki taqat nahin hai magar Allah ki madad se, aur Allah ke nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par salam ho, aye Allah! Tu mere liye apni rehmat ke darwaze khol de, aur tu mujhe sachchi ki jagah mein dakhil farma aur mujhe sachchi ki jagah nikal aur khalis kar de mere liye apni janab se wazeh madad aur apni taraf se mujhe rehmat ata farma, beshak tu bahut ata farmane wala hai. Aye Allah! Tu upar se meri hifazat farma is baat se keh main uchchal liya jaun, aur meri donon tangon ke neeche se bhi meri hifazat farma is baat se keh main is mein dhans jaun, aur mere dayen aur bayen se bhi hifazat farma shaitan mardood se.
Hazrat Abu Ubaidah narrates that when Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood used to enter his house, he would be cheerful and talk, then he would raise his voice.
حضرت ابو عبیدہ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود جب اپنے گھر مں داخل ہوتے تو مانوس ہوتے اور بات کرتے پھر اپنی آواز کو بلند کرتے۔
Hazrat Abu Ubaidah farmate hain keh Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood jab apne ghar mein dakhil hote to manoos hote aur baat karte phir apni aawaz ko buland karte.
