Hazrat Ibn Abbas narrates that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) intended to return from a journey, he would recite these words: "We are repentant, we are worshippers, we are praising our Lord." And when he would enter upon his family, he would recite these words: "We are repenting, we are repenting, we are returning to our Lord, He will not leave any of our sins."
حضرت ابن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ جب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سفر سے لوٹنے کا ارادہ فرماتے تو یہ کلمات پڑھتے : ہم توبہ کرنے والے ہیں ، بندگی کرنے والے ہیں، اپنے رب کی حمد کرنے والے ہیں، اور جب اپنے گھر والوں پر داخل ہوتے تو یہ کلمات پڑھتے : ہم توبہ کر رہے، توبہ کر رہے، اپنے رب کی طرف ہی لوٹ رہے ہیں، وہ ہمارا کوئی بھی گناہ نہیں چھوڑے گا۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas farmate hain keh jab Nabi Kareem (SAW) safar se lautne ka irada farmate to yeh kalmat parhte: Hum toba karne wale hain, ibadat karne wale hain, apne Rab ki hamd karne wale hain, aur jab apne ghar walon par dakhil hote to yeh kalmat parhte: Hum toba kar rahe, toba kar rahe, apne Rab ki taraf hi laut rahe hain, wo hamara koi bhi gunah nahi chhore ga.
Hazrat Bura' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would return from a journey, he would recite these words: 'We are returning, repenting, worshipping, and praising our Lord.'
حضرت برائ فرماتے ہیں کہ جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سفر سے واپس لوٹتے تو یہ کلمات پڑھتے ! ہم لوٹنے والے ہیں، توبہ کرنے والے ہیں بندگی کرنے والے ہیں ، اپنے رب کی حمد کرنے والے ہیں۔
Hazrat Bara farmate hain keh jab Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) safar se wapas lautate to yeh kalmat parhte! Hum lautne wale hain, tauba karne wale hain, ibadat karne wale hain, apne Rab ki hamd karne wale hain.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar narrates that whenever the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would return from a battle, or from visiting someone, or from Hajj or Umrah - the narrator says that whenever he would reach a high path or an open field, he would say Allahu Akbar three times. Then he would recite these words: "There is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, He is One, He has fulfilled His promise. We are returning (to Him), repenting (to Him), worshipping (Him), and praising our Lord."
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب بھی کسی لشکر سے یا سرایا سے یا حج یا عمرے سے واپس لوٹتے ۔ راوی فرماتے ہیں جب بھی کسی پہاڑی راستہ یا چٹیل میدان پر پہنچتے تو تین مرتبہ تکبیر کہتے : پھر یہ کلمات پڑھتے، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے، اس نے اپنے وعدہ کو سچا کیا ہم لوٹنے والے ہیں ، توبہ کرنے والے ہیں، بندگی کرنے والے ہیں، اپنے رب کی حمد کرنے والے ہیں۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar farmate hain keh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab bhi kisi lashkar se ya saraya se ya Hajj ya Umrah se wapas laut te. Ravi farmate hain jab bhi kisi pahari rasta ya chatail maidan par pahuchte to teen martaba takbeer kehte: phir yeh kalmat parhte, Allah ke siwa koi mabood nahin woh akela hai, us ne apne wada ko sacha kiya hum lautne wale hain, toba karne wale hain, bandagi karne wale hain, apne Rab ki hamd karne wale hain.
Hazrat Anas bin Malik narrates that I was traveling with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Whenever you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would pass through a forest or rocky terrain, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would recite these words: We are returning, repenting, worshipping, and if Allah wills, praising our Lord.
حضرت انس بن مالک فرماتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ سفر میں تھا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا گزر جب بھی کسی جنگل یا پتھریلی زمین میں ہوتا تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) یہ کلمات پڑھتے : ہم لوٹنے والے ہیں، توبہ کرنے والے ہیں، بندگی کرنے والے ہیں، اگر اللہ نے چاہا ، تو اپنے رب کی حمد کرنے والے ہیں۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik farmate hain keh mein Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ke sath safar mein tha, aap (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ka guzar jab bhi kisi jungle ya patthrili zameen mein hota to Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) yeh kalmat parhte : Hum lautne wale hain, tauba karne wale hain, bandagi karne wale hain, agar Allah ne chaha, to apne Rab ki hamd karne wale hain.
Hazrat Ibrahim Taimi says that when the companions would return from a journey they would recite these words: "We are returning, if Allah wills, repenting, praising our Lord."
حضرت ابراہیم تیمی فرماتے ہیں کہ جب صحابہ سفر سے لوٹتے تھے تو یہ کلمات پڑھتے تھے، ہم لوٹنے والے ہیں اگر اللہ نے چاہا ، توبہ کرنے والے ہیں ، اپنے رب کی حمد کرنے والے ہیں۔
Hazrat Ibrahim Taimi farmate hain ke jab sahaba safar se laut te thay to ye kalmat parhte thay, hum lautne wale hain agar Allah ne chaha, toba karne wale hain, apne rab ki hamd karne wale hain.
