Hazrat Mak'hool narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered Makkah, some jinns met you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and threw embers at you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So Hazrat Jibril said: O Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Seek refuge: So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sought refuge through these words, then those jinns were removed from you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, from which neither the righteous nor the wicked can transgress. From the evil of everything that descends from the sky and what ascends in it, and from the evil of everything that spreads on the earth and comes out of it, and from the evil of the day and the night, and hoping for the good that comes every night, O Most Merciful!
حضرت مکحول فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب مکہ میں داخل ہوئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو کچھ جن ملے جنہوں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر انگارے پھینکے، تو حضرت جبرائیل نے فرمایا : اے محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! پناہ مانگیے : تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کلمات کے ذریعہ پناہ مانگی، پھر ان جنوں کو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے ہٹا دیا گیا : میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں اللہ کے مکمل کلمات کے ساتھ کہ جن سے کوئی نیکو کار اور بدکار تجاوز نہیں کرسکتا۔ ہر اس چیز کے شر سے جو آسمان سے اترتی ہے، اور جو آسمان میں بلند ہوتی ہے، اور ہر اس چیز کے شر سے جو زمین میں پھیلتی ہے، اور زمین سے نکلتی ہے، اور دن اور رات کے شر سے ، اور ہر رات کو آنے والے خیر کی توقع کرتے ہوئے اے رحم کرنے والے !
Hazrat Makhool farmate hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab Makkah mein daakhil hue to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko kuch jinn mile jinhon ne aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par angare phenke, to Hazrat Jibraeel ne farmaya: Aye Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Panah mangiye: to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne in kalmat ke zariye panah mangi, phir un jinnon ko aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se hata diya gaya: mein panah mangta hun Allah ke mukammal kalmat ke sath ke jinn se koi nekukar aur badkar tajawuz nahin karsakta. Har us cheez ke shar se jo aasman se utarti hai, aur jo aasman mein buland hoti hai, aur har us cheez ke shar se jo zameen mein phelti hai, aur zameen se nikalti hai, aur din aur raat ke shar se, aur har raat ko aane wale khair ki tawaqqu karte hue aye Reham karne wale!
Hazrat Muhammad bin Yahya bin Habban narrated that Hazrat Walid bin Mughira complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the thoughts that came to his mind. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: When you come to your bed, recite these words: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His wrath and His grip, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whispers of Satan, that they may not come near me. By the One in whose grip of power is my soul, nothing will harm you until you reach the morning.
حضرت محمد بن یحییٰ بن حبان فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت ولید بن مغیرہ نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے دل میں آنے والے خیالات کی شکایت کی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان سے ارشاد فرمایا : جب تو اپنے بستر میں آئے تو یہ کلمات پڑھ ، میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں اللہ کے مکمل کلمات کے ساتھ، اس کے غصہ اور اس کی پکڑ سے اور اس کے بندوں کے شر سے، اور شیطان کے وسوسوں سے کہ وہ میرے پاس حاضر ہوں پس قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے قبضہ قدرت میں میری جان ہے تجھے کوئی بھی چیز نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکے گی یہاں تک کہ تو صبح کرلے گا۔
Hazrat Muhammad bin Yahya bin Haban farmate hain keh Hazrat Waleed bin Mugerah ne Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) se dil mein aane wale khayalaat ki shikayat ki Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne unse irshad farmaya Jab tu apne bistar mein aaye to yeh kalmaat parh main panah mangta hun Allah ke mukammal kalmaat ke sath uske ghusse aur uski pakar se aur uske bandon ke shar se aur shaitan ke waswason se keh woh mere pass hazir hon pas qasam hai is zaat ki jis ke qabza qudrat mein meri jaan hai tujhe koi bhi cheez nuqsan nahin pahuncha sakegi yahan tak keh tu subah karle ga
Hazrat Yahya bin Ja'dah narrated that Hazrat Khalid bin Walid used to be afraid of the night to the extent that he would not go out at night unless he had his sword with him. Then he became afraid that he might harm someone, so he complained about it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Gabriel has told me that a group of jinn are trying to deceive you. So you should recite these words: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, from which neither the righteous nor the wicked can transgress, from the evil of that which descends from the sky and that which ascends therein, and from the evil of that which is created in the earth and that which comes forth therefrom, and from the evil of the trials of the night and the day, and from the evil of everyone who comes by night except him who comes with good, O Most Merciful.' So Hazrat Khalid recited these words, and his condition ceased.
حضرت یحییٰ بن جعدہ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت خالد بن ولید رات سے ڈرتے تھے، یہاں تک کہ وہ نکلے اس حال میں کہ ان کے پاس تلوار تھی۔ پس ان پر خوف طاری ہوگیا کہ وہ کسی کو تکلیف پہنچا دیں گے پس انھوں نے اس بات کی رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے شکایت کی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : جبرائیل نے مجھ سے فرمایا ہے : کہ جنوں کی ایک جماعت تیرے ساتھ مکر و فریب کرتی ہے، پس تو یہ کلمات پڑھ لے : میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں اللہ کے مکمل کلمات کے ساتھ کہ جن سے کوئی نیکو کار اور بدکار تجاوز نہیں کرسکتا، ہر اس چیز کے شر سے جو آسمان سے نازل ہوتی ہے اور جو آسمان میں بلند ہوتی ہے، اور اس چیز کے شر سے جو زمین میں پیدا ہوتی ہے اور جو زمین سے نکلتی ہے، اور دن اور رات کے فتنوں کے شر سے، اور ہر رات کو آنے والے سے مگر جو خیر لائے، اے رحم کرنے والے، پس حضرت خالد نے ان کلمات کو پڑھا، تو ان کی یہ حالت ختم ہوگئی۔
Hazrat Yahya bin Jaada farmate hain ki Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed raat se darte thay, yahan tak ki woh nikle is hal mein ki unke pass talwar thi. Pas un par khauf tari hogaya ki woh kisi ko takleef pahuncha denge pas unhon ne is baat ki Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se shikayat ki to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Jibraeel ne mujhse farmaya hai: Ki jinn ki aik jamaat tere sath makr o fareb karti hai, pas tu yeh kalmaat padh le: Main panah mangta hun Allah ke mukammal kalmaat ke sath ki jinn se koi nekukar aur badkar tajawuz nahi karsakta, har is cheez ke shar se jo aasman se nazil hoti hai aur jo aasman mein buland hoti hai, aur is cheez ke shar se jo zameen mein paida hoti hai aur jo zameen se nikalti hai, aur din aur raat ke fitnon ke shar se, aur har raat ko aane wale se magar jo khair laaye, aye reham karne wale, pas Hazrat Khalid ne in kalmaat ko padha, to un ki yeh halat khatam hogayi.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When any of you is afraid in his sleep at night, he should recite these words: In the name of Allah: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, from His wrath and from His evil grip, and from the evil of His servants, and from the evil of the devils, and from what they suggest.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص رات کو اپنی نیند میں ڈر جائے ، تو یہ کلمات پڑھے : اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ : میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں اللہ کے مکمل کلمات کی، اس کے غضب سے اور اس کی بری پکڑ سے، اور اس کے بندوں کے شر سے، اور شیطانوں کے شر سے، اور جو کچھ وہ حاضر ہوتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amro farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Jab tum mein se koi shakhs raat ko apni neend mein dar jaye, toh yeh kalmaat parhay: Allah ke naam ke saath: Mein panah mangta hoon Allah ke mukammal kalmat ki, uske ghazab se aur uski buri pakad se, aur uske bandon ke shar se, aur shaitano ke shar se, aur jo kuch woh hazir hote hain.
Hazrat Abu Al-Tayaah narrates that a person asked Hazrat Abdullah bin Khanbash: When the devils used to try to deceive the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), what did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to do? He said: Once some devils came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) from the valleys, and they came down from the mountain and came to you (peace be upon him), while there was a devil among them who had a burning coal, he intended to burn the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) with it, so you (peace be upon him) were terrified of them. Hazrat Ja'far says: I think the narrator said: You (peace be upon him) started to retreat. The narrator says: That Hazrat Jibraeel (peace be upon him) came to your service and said: O Muhammad (peace be upon him)! You read. You (peace be upon him) said: What should I read? Hazrat Jibraeel said: You (peace be upon him) read! I seek refuge with the perfect words of Allah, which no righteous or wicked person can transgress, from the evil of everything that He has created, given life to, and brought into being, and from the evil of everything that rises in the sky, and from the evil of everything that grows in the earth, and from the evil of everything that comes out of the earth, and from the evil of the temptations of day and night, and from the evil of everything that appears at night except that which brings good, O Most Merciful! The narrator says: Then the fire of the devils was extinguished. He says: Then Allah defeated those devils.
حضرت ابو التیاح فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے حضرت عبداللہ بن خنبش سے سوال کیا : جب شیاطین رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دھوکا دیتے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کیا کرتے تھے ؟ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا : ایک مرتبہ کچھ شیاطین وادیوں سے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے، اور پہاڑ سے اتر کر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آگئے، اس حال میں کہ ان میں ایک شیطان تھا جس کے پاس ایک انگارہ تھا، اس کا ارادہ تھا کہ اس سے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو جلا دے گا، تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر ان کا رعب طاری ہوگیا، حضرت جعفر فرماتے ہیں : میرا گمان ہے کہ راوی نے کہا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پیچھے ہٹنے لگے۔ راوی فرماتے ہیں : کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حضرت جبرائلب حاضر ہوئے۔ اور فرمایا : اے محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! آپ پڑھیے : آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے کہا : میں کیا پڑھوں ؟ حضرت جبرائیل نے ارشاد فرمایا : آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پڑھیے ! میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں اللہ کے مکمل کلمات کے ساتھ جن سے کوئی نیکو کار اور بدکار تجاوز نہیں کرسکتا، ہر اس چیز کے شر سے جو اس نے پیدا کی ، جس کو وجود بخشا اور جسے پیدا کیا اور ہر اس چیز کے شر سے جو آسمان میں بلند ہوتی ہے، اور اس چیز کے شر سے جو زمین میں پیدا ہوتی ہے، اور اس چیز کے شر سے جو زمین سے نکلتی ہے، اور دن اور رات کے فتنوں کے شر سے، اور ہر رات کو نمودار ہونے والی چیز کے شر سے مگر جو رات کو خیر لائے، اے رحمن ! راوی کہتے ہیں پس شیاطین کی آگ کو بجھا دیا گیا، کہتے ہیں پس اللہ نے ان شیاطین کو شکست دی۔
Hazrat Abu Altiah farmate hain ki aik shakhs ne Hazrat Abdullah bin Khanbhsh se sawal kiya: Jab shayateen Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko dhoka dete toh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) kya karte thay? Aap ne irshad farmaya: Aik martaba kuch shayateen wadion se Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke pass aaye, aur pahad se utar kar Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke pass aa gaye, iss haal mein ki un mein aik shaitan tha jiske pass aik angara tha, iska irada tha ki iss se Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko jala dega, toh Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par unka rub tari hogaya, Hazrat Jaffar farmate hain: Mera guman hai ki ravi ne kaha. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) peeche hatne lage. Ravi farmate hain: Ki Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein Hazrat Jibraeel hazir hue. Aur farmaya: Aye Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Aap parhiye: Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne kaha: Mein kya parhun? Hazrat Jibraeel ne irshad farmaya: Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) parhiye! Mein panah mangta hun Allah ke mukammal kalmat ke sath jinse koi nekukar aur badkar tajawuz nahin karsakta, har iss cheez ke shar se jo usne paida ki, jisko wajud bakhsha aur jise paida kiya aur har iss cheez ke shar se jo aasman mein buland hoti hai, aur iss cheez ke shar se jo zameen mein paida hoti hai, aur iss cheez ke shar se jo zameen se nikalti hai, aur din aur raat ke fitnon ke shar se, aur har raat ko numudar hone wali cheez ke shar se magar jo raat ko khair laaye, Aye Rahman! Ravi kehte hain pas shayateen ki aag ko bujha diya gaya, kehte hain pas Allah ne un shayateen ko shikast di.
Hazrat Ibn Sabit narrates that Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed could not sleep at night. So, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, "Shall I not teach you a few words that will make you sleep when you say them? You should recite these words: O Allah, the Lord of the seven heavens and what they shade, and the Lord of the seven earths and what they carry, and the Lord of the devils and what they mislead, be my protector from the evil of all Your creation, that none of them may wrong me or transgress against me. Your protection is sufficient, and there is no deity worthy of worship but You."
حضرت ابن سابط فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت خالد بن ولید کو رات میں نیند نہیں آتی تھی، تو نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان سے ارشاد فرمایا : کیا میں تمہیں چند کلمات نہ سکھاؤں جب تم ان کو کہو گے تو تمہیں نیند آجائے گی ؟ تم یہ کلمات پڑھا کرو ! اے اللہ ! ساتوں آسمانوں کے رب اور جن چیزوں پر انھوں نے سایہ کیا ہوا ہے اور ساتوں زمینوں کے رب اور جن چیزوں کو انھوں نے اٹھا رکھا ہے اور شیاطین کے رب اور جو یہ گمراہ کرتے ہیں، تو میرا محافظ بن جا ! اپنی تمام مخلوق کے شر سے، کہ ان میں سے کوئی مجھ پر زیادتی کرے یا سرکشی کرے ، تیری پناہ غالب ہے ، اور تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔
Hazrat Ibn Sabat farmate hain keh Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed ko raat mein neend nahi aati thi, to Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un se irshad farmaya: kya main tumhen chand kalmat na sikhaun jab tum in ko kaho ge to tumhen neend aa jaye gi? tum yeh kalmat parha karo! Aye Allah! saaton aasmanon ke Rab aur jin cheezon par unhon ne saya kiya hua hai aur saaton zameenon ke Rab aur jin cheezon ko unhon ne utha rakha hai aur shaitanon ke Rab aur jo yeh gumrah karte hain, to mera muhafiz ban ja! apni tamam makhlooq ke shar se, keh in mein se koi mujh par zyadti kare ya sarkashi kare, teri panaah ghalib hai, aur tere siwa koi mabood nahin.
