What has been narrated concerning Usama and his father ﵄.
مَا جَاءَ فِي أُسَامَةَ، وَأَبِيهِ ﵄
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 32303
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "It is not befitting for anyone to bear any grudge towards Usama (may Allah be pleased with him)." After I heard this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), [he added] you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever loves Allah and His Messenger, then let him love Usama."
حضرت عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ کسی ایک کے لیے بھی مناسب نہیں ہے کہ وہ اسامہ (رض) سے بغض رکھے ۔ مجھ سے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اس بات کو سن لینے کے بعد۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو شخص اللہ اور اس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے محبت کرتا ہے پس اس کو چاہیے کہ وہ اسامہ سے بھی محبت کرے۔
Hazrat Aisha (RA) farmati hain ke kisi aik ke liye bhi munasib nahi hai ke wo Osama (RA) se bughz rakhe. Mujh se Rasul Allah (SAW) ki is baat ko sun lenay ke baad. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Jo shakhs Allah aur uske Rasul (SAW) se mohabbat karta hai pas usko chahiye ke wo Osama se bhi mohabbat kare.
Hazrat Qais (RA) narrates that when the father of Hazrat Usama bin Zaid (RA) was martyred, he was standing in front of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). And the tears of the Prophet (PBUH) were flowing. Then the next day came and he [Usama bin Zaid] was standing in your [Prophet's] place. So, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said to him: "Today, I am meeting you at the same place where I met you yesterday?"
حضرت قیس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت اسامہ بن زید (رض) کے والد کو جب قتل کردیا گیا تو یہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے کھڑے تھے۔ اور نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے آنسو بہہ رہے تھے۔ پھر اگلا دن آیا اور یہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی جگہ پر کھڑے تھے۔ تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان سے فرمایا : آج میں تم سے اس جگہ مل رہا ہوں جہاں میں تم سے کل ملا تھا ؟
Hazrat Qais (RA) farmate hain keh Hazrat Usama bin Zaid (RA) ke walid ko jab qatal kar diya gaya to yeh Rasool Allah (SAW) ke samne kharay thay. Aur Nabi Kareem (SAW) ke aansu beh rahay thay. Phir agla din aaya aur yeh aap (SAW) ki jaga par kharay thay. To Rasool Allah (SAW) ne in se farmaya: Aaj main tum se is jaga mil raha hun jahan main tum se kal mila tha?
Hazrat Urwah (R.A) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prepared an army to be sent to Mu'tah and appointed Hazrat Usama bin Zaid (R.A) as its commander, although Hazrat Abu Bakr (R.A) and Hazrat Umar (R.A) were also in that army. The narrator says: So it was as if the people expressed their displeasure at the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) appointing Usama as the commander of the army. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon and said: Verily, some of you have expressed displeasure at my appointing Usama as the commander. And verily, they had also expressed displeasure at the appointment of his father as the commander before him. And by Allah! He was the most deserving of leadership. And verily, he was also the most beloved to me among the people. And after him, his son is also the most beloved to me among the people. And verily, I hope that this will be among your good deeds. So treat him well.
حضرت عروہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے موتہ کی جانب بھیجنے کے لیے لشکر تیار کیا اور حضرت اسامہ بن زید (رض) کو ان پر امیر بنادیا حالانکہ اس لشکر میں حضرت ابوبکر (رض) اور حضرت عمر (رض) بھی تھے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں۔ پس گویا لوگوں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے اسامہ کو لشکر پر امیر بنانے پر ناگواری کا اظہار کیا۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) خطبہ ارشاد فرمانے کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے اور فرمایا : بیشک تم میں سے کچھ لوگوں نے مجھ سے ناگواری کا اظہار کیا ہے اسامہ کو امیر بنانے پر۔ اور بیشک انھوں نے اسامہ کو امیر بنانے سے پہلے اس کے باپ کو امیر بنائے جانے پر بھی ناگواری کا اظہار کیا تھا۔ اور اللہ کی قسم ! وہ امارت کے زیادہ قابل تھے۔ اور بیشک وہ بھی لوگوں میں سب سے زیادہ مجھے محبوب تھے۔ اور اس کے بعد اس کا بیٹا بھی مجھے لوگوں میں سب سے زیادہ محبوب ہے۔ اور بیشک میں امید کرتا ہوں۔ کہ یہ تمہارے نیکو کاروں میں سے ہوگا۔ پس تم لوگ اس کے ساتھ بھلائی کا معاملہ کرو۔
Hazrat Urwah (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne Mota ki jaanib bhejne ke liye lashkar taiyar kiya aur Hazrat Usama bin Zaid (RA) ko un par ameer banadiya halankeh iss lashkar mein Hazrat Abubakar (RA) aur Hazrat Umar (RA) bhi thay. Rawi kehte hain, Pas goya logon ne Rasool Allah (SAW) ke Usama ko lashkar par ameer banane par nagawari ka izhaar kiya. Rasool Allah (SAW) khutba ارشاد farmane ke liye kharay huye aur farmaya: Beshak tum mein se kuch logon ne mujhse nagawari ka izhaar kiya hai Usama ko ameer banane par. Aur beshak unhon ne Usama ko ameer banane se pehle uske baap ko ameer banaye jaane par bhi nagawari ka izhaar kiya tha. Aur Allah ki qasam! Woh amaarat ke zyada qabil thay. Aur beshak woh bhi logon mein sab se zyada mujhe mehboob thay. Aur uske baad uska beta bhi mujhe logon mein sab se zyada mehboob hai. Aur beshak mein umeed karta hun. Keh yeh tumhare nekukaron mein se hoga. Pas tum log uske sath bhalayi ka mamla karo.
Hazrat Aisha (RA) narrates that Hazrat Asma (RA) stumbled on the threshold of the door and fell, injuring her face. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said to me, "Remove the thing causing her pain." So I removed it. Then the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) kept sucking the blood and spitting it out, and said, "If Asma were a girl, I would have clothed her and adorned her with jewelry until I sold her."
حضرت عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ حضرت اسامہ (رض) دروازے کی چوکھٹ سے ٹھوکر کھا کر گرپڑے اور ان کے چہرے میں چوٹ لگ گئی۔ اس پر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھ سے فرمایا : تم اس سے اذیت کی چیز کو ہٹا دو تو میں نے اس کو اکھاڑ دیا۔ پس رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) خون کو چوستے جاتے اور کلیاں کرتے جاتے۔ اور فرماتے : اگر اسامہ لڑکی ہوتی تو میں اس کو کپڑے پہناتا اور زیور پہناتا یہاں تک کہ میں اس کو فروخت کردیتا۔
Hazrat Ayesha (RA) farmati hain keh Hazrat Usama (RA) darwaze ki chaukhat se thokar kha kar gir pade aur un ke chehre mein chot lag gai. Is par Rasul Allah (SAW) ne mujh se farmaya: Tum is se aziyat ki cheez ko hata do to maine is ko akhaar diya. Pas Rasul Allah (SAW) khoon ko chuste jate aur klian karte jate. Aur farmate: Agar Usama larki hoti to main is ko kapre pehnata aur zewar pehnata yahan tak ke main is ko farokht karta.
Hazrat Aisha (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) never sent Hazrat Zaid bin Haritha (RA) in any army but that he made him the commander over them. And if he had lived after you (PBUH), you (PBUH) would have made him the Caliph.
حضرت عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے حضرت زید بن حارثہ (رض) کو کبھی کسی لشکر میں نہیں بھیجا مگر یہ کہ ان کو اس پر امیر بنایا ۔ اور اگر وہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے بعد زندہ ہوتے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان کو خلیفہ بنا دیتے۔
Hazrat Ayesha (RA) farmati hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne Hazrat Zaid bin Haritha (RA) ko kabhi kisi lashkar mein nahin bheja magar yeh keh un ko is par ameer banaya. Aur agar woh aap (SAW) ke baad zinda hote toh aap (SAW) un ko khalifa bana dete.
Hazrat Salim bin Abdullah (R.A.) narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (R.A.) said: We did not call them except by the name of Zayd bin Muhammad (peace be upon him) until the verse of the Quran was revealed (translation): "Call them by [the names of] their fathers; it is more just in the sight of Allah . . ."
حضرت سالم بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ہم لوگ ان کو نہیں پکارتے تھے مگر زید بن محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے نام سے یہاں تک کہ قرآن کی آیت اتری (ترجمہ) تم پکارو انھیں ان کو باپوں کے نام سے ۔ یہ اللہ کے نزدیک زیادہ انصاف کی بات ہے۔
Hazrat Salem bin Abdullah (RA) farmate hain keh Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) ne irshad farmaya : hum log in ko nahi pukarte thay magar Zaid bin Muhammad (SAW) ke naam se yahan tak keh Quran ki ayat utri (tarjuma) tum pukaro inhen in ke baap ke naam se . Yeh Allah ke qareeb zyada insaaf ki baat hai.
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him): O Zaid you are our brother and our friend.
حضرت براء بن عازب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے زید (رض) سے ارشاد فرمایا : تم اے زید ہمارے بھائی اور ہمارے دوست ہو۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne Zaid (RA) se irshad farmaya: Tum ae Zaid hamare bhai aur hamare dost ho.
