Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 21657
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Amr bin Shuaib (RA) that a person inquired from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about a lost goat. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Either it is for you or for your brother or for the wolf. He inquired about the lost camel? You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said then what do you want from it? He has a water container and a horseshoe with him. He will eat from the pasture and go to the water.
حضرت عمرو بن شعیب (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ ایک شخص نے حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے گم شدہ بکری کے متعلق سوال کیا ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : یا وہ تیرے لیے ہے یا تیرے بھائی کے لیے یا پھر بھیڑیے کے لیے ہے۔ اُس نے گم شدہ اونٹ کے متعلق دریافت کیا ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا تو اس سے کیا چاہتا ہے۔ اس کے ساتھ پانی کا مشکیزہ اور نعل موجود ہے۔ چراگاہ سے کھائے گا اور پانی پر جائے گا۔
Hazrat Amr bin Shuaib (RA) se marvi hai keh aik shakhs ne Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se gum shuda bakri ke mutalliq sawal kya? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Ya wo tere liye hai ya tere bhai ke liye ya phir bheriye ke liye hai. Us ne gum shuda unt ke mutalliq daryaft kya? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya to us se kya chahta hai. Is ke sath pani ka mashkiza aur nal mojood hai. Charagah se khaye ga aur pani per jaye ga.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْغَنَمِ ، فَقَالَ : « لَكَ ، أَوْ لِأَخِيكَ ، أَوْ لِلذِّئْبِ » وَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْإِبِلِ ، فَقَالَ : « مَا تُرِيدُ إِلَيْهَا ؟ مَعَهَا سِقَاؤُهَا وَحِذَاؤُهَا ، تَأْكُلُ الْمَرْعَى وَتَرِدُ الْمَاءَ »
