Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3668
Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to go out to his Companions from The Muhajirin and the Ansar while they were sitting, and Abu Bakr and Umar (رضئ هللا تعال ی عنہما) would be with them. No one would lift their sight towards him except Abu Bakr and Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنهما) because they used to look at him, and he would look at them, and they would smile at him, and he would smile at them. Imam Tirmidhi said, this Hadith is Gharib as we do not know of it except as a narration of Al-Hakam bin Atiyyah, and some of them have criticized Al-Hakam bin Atiyyah .

انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ مہاجرین و انصار میں سے اپنے صحابہ کے پاس نکل کر آتے اور وہ بیٹھے ہوتے، ان میں ابوبکر و عمر رضی الله عنہما بھی ہوتے، تو ان میں سے کوئی اپنی نگاہ آپ کی طرف نہیں اٹھاتا تھا، سوائے ابوبکر و عمر رضی الله عنہما کے یہ دونوں آپ کو دیکھتے اور مسکراتے اور آپ ان دونوں کو دیکھتے اور مسکراتے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- اس حدیث کو ہم صرف حکم بن عطیہ کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، ۳- بعض محدثین نے حکم بن عطیہ کے بارے میں کلام کیا ہے۔
Anas Razi Allah anhu kehte hain ke Rasool Allah salla Allah alaihi wa sallam muhajireen o ansar mein se apne sahaba ke pas nikal kar aate aur woh bethe hote, in mein Abu Bakr o Umar razi Allah anhuma bhi hote, to in mein se koi apni nigah aap ki taraf nahin uthata tha, siwae Abu Bakr o Umar razi Allah anhuma ke yeh dono aap ko dekhte aur muskrate aur aap in dono ko dekhte aur muskrate. Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain: 1- yeh hadees gharib hai, 2- is hadees ko hum sirf hukm bin atiya ki riwayat se jante hain, 3- baaz muhaddiseen ne hukm bin atiya ke bare mein kalam kiya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ ّرَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ، وَهُمْ جُلُوسٌ فِيهِمْ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ، فَلَا يَرْفَعُ إِلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ بَصَرَهُ إِلَّا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ، فَإِنَّهُمَا كَانَا يَنْظُرَانِ إِلَيْهِ وَيَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمَا، وَيَتَبَسَّمَانِ إِلَيْهِ وَيَتَبَسَّمُ إِلَيْهِمَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا غَرِيبٌ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، وَقَدْ تَكَلَّمَ بَعْضُهُمْ فِي الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ.
