Narrated by Sharid (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by me while I was sitting with my left hand behind my back, resting on the lower part of my hand. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do you sit like those with whom Allah is angry?"

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ میرے پاس سے گذرے میں اس وقت اس طرح بیٹھا ہوا تھا کہ اپنا بایاں ہاتھ اپنی کمر کے پیچھے رکھ ہاتھ کے نچلے حصے پر ٹیک لگا رکھی تھی نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا تم ان لوگوں کی طرح بیٹھتے ہو جن پر اللہ کا غضب نازل ہوا۔
Hazrat Sharee razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere paas se guzre mein us waqt is tarah betha hua tha ki apna baayan haath apni kamar ke peeche rakh haath ke niche hisse par teek laga rakhi thi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kya tum un logon ki tarah baithte ho jin par Allah ka ghazab nazil hua.
It is narrated by Sharid (may Allah be pleased with him) that his mother advised him to free a Muslim slave on her behalf. He asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about it, saying, “I have a slave girl from Nuba, a region in Abyssinia. Can I free her?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Bring her to me." He called her and she came. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked her, "Who is your Lord?” She said, “Allah." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, “Who am I?” She replied, "You are the Messenger of Allah." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Set her free, she is a Muslim."

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہیں ان کی والدہ نے یہ وصیت کی کہ ان کی طرف سے ایک مسلمان غلام آزاد کردیں انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے اس کے متعلق پوچھتے ہوئے کہا کہ میرے پاس حبشہ کے ایک علاقے نوبیہ کی ایک باندی ہے کیا میں اسے آزاد کرسکتا ہوں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اسے لے کر آؤ میں نے اسے بلایا وہ آگئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے پوچھا تیرا رب کون ہے؟ اس نے کہا اللہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے پوچھا میں کون ہوں۔؟ اس نے جواب دیا آپ اللہ کے رسول ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اسے آزاد کردو یہ مسلمان ہے۔
Hazrat Sharid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki unhen un ki walida ne ye wasiyat ki ki un ki taraf se ek musalman ghulam azad kar den unhon ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se iske mutalliq puchte hue kaha ki mere paas Habsha ke ek elaqe Nubia ki ek bandi hai kya main ise azad kar sakta hun Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ise le kar aao maine ise bulaya wo aa gai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is se pucha tera Rabb kaun hai isne kaha Allah Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pucha main kaun hun isne jawab diya aap Allah ke Rasool hain Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ise azad kar do ye musalman hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Shareed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The delaying (of payment) by a wealthy person makes permissible taking his possessions in retaliation and his imprisonment.
حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا مالدار کا ٹال مٹول کرنا اس کی شکایت اور اسے قید کرنے کو حلال کردیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Shareed Razi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Hai Ke Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Ne Irshad Farmaya Maldaar Ka Taal Matol Karna Uski Shikayat Aur Use Qaid Karne Ko Halal Kar Deta Hai
It is narrated on the authority of Shurayh (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked me to recite to him the verses of Umayyah bin Abi as-Salt. I started reciting the verses. Whenever I would recite a verse, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say, "Recite more." Until I had recited a hundred verses. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Umayyah was close to becoming a Muslim."

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے مجھ سے امیہ بن ابی صلت کے اشعار سنانے کو کہا میں اشعار سنانے لگا جب بھی ایک شعر سناتا تو نبی کریم ﷺ فرماتے اور سناؤ حتیٰ کہ میں نے سو شعر سنا ڈالے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا قریب تھا کہ امیہ مسلمان ہوجاتا۔
Hazrat Shahreed RA se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi Kareem SAW ne mujh se Umeya bin Abi Salt ke ashaar sunane ko kaha mein ashaar sunane laga jab bhi ek sher sunata to Nabi Kareem SAW farmate aur sunao hatta ke maine sau sher suna dale Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya qareeb tha ke Umeya musalman hojata.
Narrated by Shuraid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that whenever the Holy Prophet (PBUH) saw a person lying on his face with no cloth on his buttocks, he would nudge him with his foot and say, "This way of lying is most disliked by Allah."

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب کسی آدمی کو چہرے کے بل اس طرح لیٹے ہوئے دیکھتے کہ اس کی سرین پر کچھ نہ ہوتا تو اسے پاؤں سے ٹھوکر مارتے اور فرماتے اللہ کے نزدیک لیٹنے کا یہ طریقہ سب سے زیادہ ناپسندیدہ ہے۔
Hazrat Shahreed Razi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam jab kisi aadmi ko chehre ke bal is tarah lete hue dekhte keh uski sarin per kuch na hota to use paon se thokar marte aur farmate Allah ke nazdeek letne ka ye tarika sab se zyada napasandeedah hai.
It was narrated from the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "A neighbor has more right to buy a house than anyone else."

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا گھر کا پڑوسی دوسرے شخص کی نسبت مکان خریدنے کا زیادہ حقدار ہے۔
Hazrat Shareed Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ghar ka padosi doosre shakhs ki nisbat makaan khareedne ka zyada haqdaar hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Shuraid (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: When a person drinks wine, flog him. If he drinks it a second time, flog him again. If he drinks it a third time, flog him again. On the fourth or fifth time, he said, if he drinks again then kill him.

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے جب کوئی شخص شراب نوشی کرے اسے کوڑے مارو، دوبارہ پینے پر پھر کوڑے مارو سہ بارہ پینے پر پھر کوڑے مارو، چوتھی یا پانچویں مرتبہ فرمایا کہ پھر اگر پیئے تو اسے قتل کردو۔
Hazrat Sharid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai jab koi shakhs sharaab noshi kare use korre maro, دوبارہ pine par phir korre maro seh baarah pine par phir korre maro, chauthi ya panchvin martaba farmaya ki phir agar piye to use qatal kar do.
Narrated by Shared (May Allah be pleased with him) that I asked in the court of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah, if there is a land in which no one has a share or division except the neighbor, then what is the rule?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The neighbor has the right of pre-emption whenever it may be."

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! اگر کوئی زمین ایسی ہو جس میں کسی کی شرکت یا تقسیم نہ ہو سوائے پڑوسی کے تو کیا حکم ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا پڑوسی شفعہ کا حق رکھتا ہے جب بھی ہو۔

Narrated by Sharid (may Allah be pleased with him) that I asked in the court of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! If there is a land in which no one has a share or division except a neighbor, then what is the ruling?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The neighbor has the right of pre-emption whenever it may be."

Hazrat Shuraid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine bargah risalat mein arz kiya Ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! Agar koi zameen aisi ho jis mein kisi ki shirkat ya taqsim na ho siwaye padosi ke to kya hukm hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya padosi shafaa ka haq rakhta hai jab bhi ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Sharid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Delaying payment by a wealthy person makes permissible the complaining about him and his imprisonment.

Narrated Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه): I bear witness that I was with the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in Arafat. The feet of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) did not touch the ground until he (PBUH) reached Muzdalifah.

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے گواہی دیتاہوں کہ میں نے عرفات میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ وقوف کیا ہے۔ نبی کریم ﷺ کے قدم زمین پر نہیں لگے یہاں تک کہ آپ ﷺ مزدلفہ پہنچ گئے۔
Hazrat Sharid Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh maine gawahi deta hun keh maine Arafat mein Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke sath wuqoof kiya hai. Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke qadam zameen par nahi lage yahan tak keh Aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam Muzdalifa pahunch gaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sharif Radi Allahu Anhu that his mother advised him to free a Muslim slave on her behalf. Isne kaha Allah Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne poocha main kaun hun? Isne jawab diya aap Allah ke Rasool hain Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya ise azad kardo ye musalman hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Suhaib (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked me to recite to him the poetry of Umayyah bin Abi as-Salt. I began to recite, and every time I finished a verse, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say, "Recite more." I continued until I had recited a hundred verses. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then said, "Umayyah was close to becoming a Muslim."

It is narrated on the authority of Shuraid (R.A.) that a man with leprosy from the tribe of Thaqif came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to pledge allegiance. I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and mentioned it to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go to him and tell him that I have accepted his pledge, so he should go back."

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس قبیلہ ثقیف کا ایک جذامی آدمی (کوڑھ کے مرض میں مبتلا) بیعت کرنے کے لئے آیا میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس آکر اس کا ذکر کیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس کے پاس جا کر کہو کہ میں نے اسے بیعت کرلیا ہے اس لئے وہ واپس چلاجائے۔
Hazrat Sharid RA se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem SAW ke pass qabeela saqeef ka aik juzami aadmi (kored ke marz mein mubtala) bai't karne ke liye aaya main ne Nabi Kareem SAW ke pass aakar is ka zikar kiya to Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya is ke pass ja kar kaho ki main ne ise bai't kar liya hai is liye wo wapis chala jaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sharid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The neighbor of a house has more right to Shafa'a (pre-emption) than anyone else."

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا گھر کا پڑوسی دوسرے شخص کی نسبت شفعہ کرنے کا زیادہ حقدار ہے۔
Hazrat Shareed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ghar ka padosi dusre shakhs ki nisbat shafa karne ka zyada haqdaar hai.
Narrated by Shahreed (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, "Whoever kills even a sparrow without right, then on the Day of Judgment, it will cry out to Allah, 'O Lord! So-and-so person killed me unjustly, he did not kill me for any benefit.'"

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص ایک چڑیا کو بھی ناحق مارتا ہے تو وہ قیامت کے دن اللہ کے سامنے چیخ چیخ کر کہے گی کہ پروردگار! فلاں شخص نے مجھے ناحق مارا تھا کسی فائدے کی خاطر نہیں مارا تھا۔
Hazrat Shahreed Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki jo shakhs ek chidiya ko bhi nahaq marta hai to wo qayamat ke din Allah ke samne cheekh cheekh kar kahegi ki Parvardigaar! Falaan shakhs ne mujhe nahaq mara tha kisi fayde ki khatir nahi mara tha.
Narrated by Shurayh RA: I bear witness that I performed Wuquf at Arafat with the Prophet (PBUH). The Prophet's (PBUH) feet did not touch the ground until he (PBUH) reached Muzdalifah.

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں گواہی دیتاہوں کہ میں نے عرفات میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ وقوف کیا ہے نبی کریم ﷺ کے قدم زمین پر نہیں لگے یہاں تک کہ آپ ﷺ مزدلفہ پہنچ گئے۔

It is narrated by Sharid (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) followed a man from the tribe of Thaqif until he caught up with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) grabbed his lower garment and said, "Raise your waist wrapper." The man lifted the garment from his knees and said, "O Messenger of Allah! My feet are crooked, and when I walk, my knees rub together." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Every creation of Allah Almighty is the best." The narrator says that after that, whenever that person was seen until his death, his waist wrapper remained only up to mid-calf.

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ قبیلہ ثقیف کے ایک آدمی کے پیچھے چلے حتیٰ کہ اس کے پیچھے دوڑ پڑے اور اس کا کپڑا پکڑ کر فرمایا اپنا تہبند اوپر کرو، اس نے اپنے گھٹنوں سے کپڑا ہٹا کر عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! میرے پاؤں ٹیڑھے ہیں اور چلتے ہوئے میرے گھٹنے ایک دوسرے سے رگڑ کھاتے ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ کی ہر تخلیق بہترین ہے، راوی کہتے ہیں کہ اس کے بعد مرتے دم تک اس شخص کو جب بھی دیکھا گیا اس کا تہبند نصف پنڈلی تک ہی رہا۔
Hazrat Shahreed RA se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem SAW qabeela Saqeef ke ek aadmi ke peeche chale hatta ki uske peeche daud pade aur uska kapda pakad kar farmaya apna tahband upar karo, usne apne ghutno se kapda hata kar arz kiya Ya Rasulullah! mere paon tedhe hain aur chalte hue mere ghutne ek dusre se ragar khate hain Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya Allah Ta'ala ki har takhleeq behtarin hai, ravi kehte hain ki uske baad marte dam tak us shakhs ko jab bhi dekha gaya uska tahband nisf pindli tak hi raha.
It is narrated on the authority of Shareeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a man lying flat on his face. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "This way of lying down is the most disliked by Allah".

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو چہرے کے بل لیٹے ہوئے دیکھا تو فرمایا اللہ کے نزدیک لیٹنے کا یہ طریقہ سب سے زیادہ ناپسندیدہ ہے۔
Hazrat Shadeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek aadmi ko chehre ke bal lete huye dekha to farmaya Allah ke nazdeek letne ka yeh tareeqa sab se zyada napasandeedah hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Shuraid (RA) that a man with leprosy from the tribe of Thaqeef came to the Prophet (ﷺ) to pledge allegiance. I went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and mentioned this to him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Go to him and tell him that I have accepted his pledge, so he should go back."

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس قبیلہ ثقیف کا ایک جذامی آدمی (کوڑھ کے مرض میں مبتلا) بیعت کرنے کے لئے آیا میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس آکر اس کا ذکر کیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس کے پاس جا کر کہو کہ میں نے اسے بیعت کرلیا ہے اس لئے وہ واپس چلاجائے۔
Hazrat Shuraid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass qabila Saqeef ka ek juzami aadmi (kored ke marz mein mubtala) bai't karne ke liye aaya main ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass aakar iska zikar kiya to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya iske pass ja kar kaho ki maine ise bai't karliya hai isliye wo wapas chala jaye.
Narrated by Sharid (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) followed a man from the tribe of Thaqif until he ran after him and grabbed his clothes and said, "Lift your lower garment." He lifted his clothes from his knees and said, "O Messenger of Allah! My legs are crooked and when I walk, my knees rub against each other." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Every creation of Allah Almighty is the best." The narrator says that after that, whenever this person was seen till his death, his lower garment remained only till half of his calves.

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ قبیلہ ثقیف کے ایک آدمی کے پیچھے چلے حتیٰ کہ اس کے پیچھے دوڑ پڑے اور اس کا کپڑا پکڑ کر فرمایا اپنا تہبند اوپر کرو، اس نے اپنے گھٹنوں سے کپڑا ہٹا کر عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! میرے پاؤں ٹیڑھے ہیں اور چلتے ہوئے میرے گھٹنے ایک دوسرے سے رگڑ کھاتے ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ کی ہر تخلیق بہترین ہے، راوی کہتے ہیں کہ اس کے بعد مرتے دم تک اس شخص کو جب بھی دیکھا گیا اس کا تہبند نصف پنڈلی تک ہی رہا۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sharid (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked me to recite the poetry of Umayyah bin Abi as-Salt. I started reciting his poetry and after every verse, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say, "Recite more". I recited a hundred verses. Then, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Umayyah was close to becoming a Muslim."

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے مجھ سے امیہ بن ابی صلت کے اشعار سنانے کو کہا میں اشعار سنانے لگا جب بھی ایک شعر سناتا تو نبی کریم ﷺ فرماتے اور سناؤ حتیٰ کہ میں نے سو شعر سنا ڈالے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا قریب تھا کہ امیہ مسلمان ہوجاتا۔
Hazrat Shareef Razi Allahu Anhu se marvi hai ke aik martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujh se Umayyah bin Abi Salt ke ashaar sunane ko kaha mein ashaar sunane laga jab bhi ek sher sunata to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) farmate aur sunao hatta ke maine sau sher suna dale Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya qareeb tha ke Umayyah musalman hojata.
Narrated by Shared (may Allah be pleased with him) that I asked in the court of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! If there is a land in which no one has a share or division except the neighbor, then what is the rule?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The neighbor has the right of pre-emption whenever it is."

حضرت شرید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! اگر کوئی زمین ایسی ہو جس میں کسی کی شرکت یا تقسیم نہ ہو سوائے پڑوسی کے تو کیا حکم ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا پڑوسی شفعہ کا حق رکھتا ہے جب بھی ہو۔
Hazrat Shareed Razi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke maine bargah risalat mein arz kiya Ya Rasool Allah! Agar koi zameen aisi ho jis mein kisi ki shirkat ya taqseem na ho siwae padosi ke to kya hukum hai? Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya padosi shafa ka haq rakhta hai jab bhi ho.
