It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade anyone from throwing stones, saying that it does not subdue the enemy nor does it catch any prey, but it can break teeth and blind eyes.

حضرت ابن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی کو کنکری مارنے سے منع فرمایا ہے اور فرمایا ہے کہ اس سے دشمن زیر نہیں ہوتا اور نہ کوئی شکار پکڑا جاسکتا ہے البتہ اس سے دانت ٹوٹ سکتا ہے اور آنکھ پھوٹ سکتی ہے۔
Hazrat Ibn Mughfal se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi ko kankari marne se mana farmaya hai aur farmaya hai ki is se dushman zair nahi hota aur na koi shikar pakra ja sakta hai albatta is se dant toot sakta hai aur aankh phot sakti hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When the time for prayer comes and you are among a flock of goats, then offer your prayer. But if you are in a camel pen, do not offer your prayer there because they (camels) were created from the devil (their nature has devilishness in it).

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ جب نماز کا وقت آجائے اور تم بکریوں کے ریوڑ میں ہو تو نماز پڑھ لو اگر اونٹوں کے باڑے میں ہو تو نماز نہ پڑھو کیونکہ ان کی پیدائش شیطان سے ہوئی ہے (ان کی فطرت میں شیطانیت پائی جاتی ہے)
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki jab namaz ka waqt aajaye aur tum bakriyon ke rewar mein ho to namaz parhlo agar oonton ke baray mein ho to namaz na parho kyunki in ki paidaish shaitan se hui hai (in ki fitrat mein shaitanat pai jati hai).
Abdullah bin Maghfal narrated that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting the Holy Quran on the occasion of the conquest of Makkah. Had people not gathered around me, I would have recited it to you in the manner of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was reciting Surah Fath. Muawiyah bin Qurrah said that if he was not afraid of people gathering around him, he would have imitated the manner of recitation of Abdullah bin Maghfal and shown how the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite.

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو فتح مکہ کے موقع پر قرآن کریم پڑھتے ہوئے سنا تھا اگر لوگ میرے پاس مجمع نہ لگاتے تو میں تمہیں نبی ﷺ کے انداز میں پڑھ کر سناتا نبی ﷺ نے سورت فتح کی تلاوت فرمائی تھی معاویہ بن قرہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر مجھے بھی مجمع لگ جانے کا اندیشہ نہ ہوتا تو میں تمہارے سامنے حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل کا بیان کردہ طرز نقل کرکے دکھاتا کہ نبی ﷺ نے کس طرح قرأت فرمائی تھی۔

It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Between every two Adhans (calls to prayer), there is a prayer for whoever wishes to offer it."

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا ہر دو اذانوں کے درمیان نماز ہے جو چاہے پڑھ لے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya har do azano ke darmiyan namaz hai jo chahe parh le.
Yazid bin Abdullah said: Our father, if he heard us reciting Bismillah loudly, would say: Avoid it, for I prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the two Caliphs, and I did not hear any of them reciting Bismillah loudly in prayer.

یزید بن عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے والد اگر ہمیں بلند آواز سے بسم اللہ پڑھتے ہوئے سنتے تو فرماتے اس سے اجتناب کرو کیونکہ میں نے نبی ﷺ اور دونوں خلفاء کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ہے میں نے ان میں سے کسی کو بلند آواز سے بسم اللہ پڑھتے ہوئے نہیں سنا ہے۔
Yazid bin Abdullah kahte hain ke hamare walid agar hamen buland aawaz se Bismillah parhte hue sunte to farmate is se ijtinab karo kyunki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur donon khulfa ke sath namaz parhi hai maine in mein se kisi ko buland aawaz se Bismillah parhte hue nahi suna hai.
Abdullah bin Mughaffal, one of the people about whom this verse was revealed, "And not upon those who, when they came to you to take you on board..." He said: "I was holding a branch of a tree to provide shade to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), while the Companions were pledging allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). They were saying, 'We pledge allegiance to you upon death.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'No, (pledge allegiance) only on the condition that you will not turn your backs (flee) on the battlefield.'"

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل بیان کرتے ہیں جو کہ ان لوگوں میں سے ایک تھے جن کے متعلق یہ آیت نازل ہوئی، ولا علی الذین اذاما اتوک لتحملھم، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے درخت کی ایک ٹہنی کو پکڑ رکھا تھا تاکہ نبی ﷺ پر سایہ ہوجائے اور صحابہ کرام نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں بیعت کررہے تھے وہ کہہ رہے تھے ہم آپ سے موت پر بیعت کرتے ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا نہیں صرف اس شرط پر کہ تم راہ فرار اختیار نہیں کروگے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal bayan karte hain jo keh un logon mein se aik thay jinka mutalliq yeh ayat nazil hui, wa la alal lazeena izama atawk li tahmil hum, woh kehte hain keh maine darakht ki aik tehni ko pakre rakha tha taakeh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) par saya hojaye aur Sahaba kiram Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein baait kar rahe thay woh keh rahe thay hum aap se maut par baait karte hain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya nahi sirf is shart par keh tum raah farar ikhtiyar nahi karoge.
Narrated Abdullah bin Mughaffal: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Were dogs not a species amongst you, I would have ordered that they all be killed; but kill the jet black ones among them."

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اگر کتے بھی ایک امت نہ ہوتے تو میں ان کی نسل ختم کرنے کا حکم دے دیتا لہذا جو انتہائی کالا سیاہ کتا ہو اسے قتل کردیا کرو۔

Narrated Abdullah bin Mughaffal: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Were dogs not a species of creature unto themselves, I would have ordered that they all be killed; but kill every pure black one.

Whoever loves them, loves them because of their love for me. Whoever hates them, hates them because of their hatred for me. Whoever harms them, harms me. And whoever harms me, harms Allah. And Allah will soon punish him.

حضرت ابن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا میرے صحابہ کے بارے میں کچھ کہنے سے اللہ سے ڈرو میرے پیچھے میرے صحابہ کو نشان طعن مت بنانا جو ان سے محبت کرتا ہے وہ میری محبت کی وجہ سے ان سے محبت کرتا ہے اور جو ان سے نفرت کرتا ہے وہ مجھ سے نفرت کی وجہ سے ان سے نفرت کرتا ہے جو انہیں ایذاء پہنچاتا ہے وہ مجھے ایذاء پہنچاتا ہے اور جو مجھے ایذاء پہنچاتا ہے وہ اللہ کو ایذاء پہنچاتا ہے اللہ اسے عنقریب ہی پکڑ لے گا۔
Hazrat Ibn Maghfal se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya mere sahaba ke bare mein kuch kehne se Allah se daro mere peeche mere sahaba ko nishan ta'n mat banana jo un se mohabbat karta hai wo meri mohabbat ki wajah se un se mohabbat karta hai aur jo un se nafrat karta hai wo mujh se nafrat ki wajah se un se nafrat karta hai jo unhen ezaa pahunchata hai wo mujhe ezaa pahunchata hai aur jo mujhe ezaa pahunchata hai wo Allah ko ezaa pahunchata hai Allah use anqareeb hi pakad lega.
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade throwing stones at anyone, and said: "It neither subdues the enemy nor catches the prey, but it breaks teeth and blinds eyes."

It is narrated from Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Pray two rak'ahs before Maghrib." After a while, he said again: "Pray two rak'ahs before Maghrib." When he said it for the third time, he also said: "Whoever wants, he may pray," because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not like that people should consider it an obligation.

حضرت عبداللہ مزنی سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا مغرب سے پہلے دو رکعتیں پڑھ لیا کرو تھوڑی دیر بعد پھر فرمایا کہ مغرب سے پہلے دو رکعتیں پڑھ لیا کرو جب تیسری مرتبہ فرمایا تو یہ بھی فرمایا کہ جو چاہے سو پڑھ لے کیونکہ نبی ﷺ نے اس چیز کو اچھا نہیں سمجھا کہ لوگ اسے سنت قرار دیں۔
Hazrat Abdullah Mazni se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Maghrib se pehle do rakatein parh liya karo thori dair baad phir farmaya keh Maghrib se pehle do rakatein parh liya karo jab teesri martaba farmaya to ye bhi farmaya keh jo chahe so parh le kyunkeh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is cheez ko acha nahi samjha keh log ise sunnat karar den
Narrated Abdullah bin Mas'ud: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not let the villagers overcome you (in offering the prayer) before you, i.e. the Maghrib prayer, which they call the 'Isha' prayer."

حضرت عبداللہ مزنی سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا دیہاتی لوگ کہیں تمہاری نماز مغرب کے نام پر غالب نہ آجائیں دیہاتی لوگ اسے نماز عشاء کہتے تھے۔
Hazrat Abdullah Mazni se riwayat hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya dehati log kahin tumhari namaz maghrib ke naam par ghalib na aa jayen dehati log ise namaz isha kehte thay.
Abdullah Bin Mughaffal once heard his son praying, "O Allah, I ask you for a white palace on the right side after entering Paradise." So he said, "O son, ask Allah only for Paradise and seek refuge from Hell because I have heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that some people from this Ummah will come who will go beyond the limits in supplication and ablution."

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل نے ایک مرتبہ اپنے بیٹے کو یہ دعا کرتے ہوئے سنا کہ اے اللہ میں تجھ سے جنت میں داخل ہونے کے بعد دائیں جانب سفید محل کا سوال کرتا ہوں تو فرمایا کہ اے بیٹے اللہ سے صرف جنت مانگو اور جہنم سے پناہ مانگو کیونکہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اس امت میں کچھ لوگ ایسے بھی آئیں گے جو دعا اور وضو میں حد سے آگے بڑھ جائیں گے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal ne aik martaba apne bete ko yeh dua karte huye suna keh aye Allah mein tujh se jannat mein dakhil hone ke baad dayen janib safaid mahal ka sawal karta hun to farmaya keh aye bete Allah se sirf jannat mango aur jahannum se panah mango kyunki mein ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate huye suna hai keh is ummat mein kuch log aise bhi ayenge jo dua aur wuzu mein had se aage barh jayenge.
Narrated Abdullah bin Mughaffal: During the siege of Khaibar, I found a leather container in which there was some fat. I took it and put it under my armpit. Suddenly, I looked up and saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) smiling at me. I felt ashamed.

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ خیبر کے محاصرے کے موقع پر مجھے چمڑے کا ایک برتن ملا جس میں چربی تھی میں نے اسے پکڑ کر بغل میں دبالیا۔ اچانک میری نظر پڑی تو نبی ﷺ مجھے دیکھ کر مسکرائے اس پر مجھے شرم آگئی۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal se marvi hai ki Khaibar ke muhasire ke mauqe par mujhe chamre ka ek bartan mila jis mein charbi thi main ne use pakad kar baghal mein daba liya achanak meri nazar padi to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mujhe dekh kar muskraye is par mujhe sharm aagayi.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When the time for prayer comes and you are with a flock of goats, then pray there, but if you are in a camel enclosure, do not pray there because they are from the creation of Satan (their nature is satanic).

It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Do not offer prayer near camels because they were created like the jinn. When a camel becomes ferocious, you do not see its eyes and flames. However, offer prayer near a flock of goats because they are closer to mercy.

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ میں نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اونٹوں کے بارے میں نماز نہ پڑھو کیونکہ ان کی تخلیق بھی جنات کی طرح ہوئی ہے جب وہ بدک جاتا ہے تو تم اس کی آنکھوں اور شعلوں کو نہیں دیکھتے البتہ بکریوں کے ریوڑ میں نماز پڑھ لیا کرو کیونکہ وہ رحمت کے زیادہ قریب ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal se marvi hai ki main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki oonton ke bare mein namaz na parho kyunki unki takhleeq bhi jinnat ki tarah hui hai jab wo badk jata hai to tum uski aankhon aur sholon ko nahin dekhte albatta bakriyon ke revar mein namaz parh liya karo kyunki wo rehmat ke zyada kareeb hai.

Abdullah bin Mughaffal reported that his father, if he heard us reciting Bismillah aloud, would say, "Avoid it." Yazid said, "I have not seen any Companion of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, hating Bid'ah (innovation in religion) more than him. For I have prayed with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the three Caliphs after him, and I did not hear any of them reciting Bismillah aloud."

Abdullah bin Mughfal kehte hain ke mere walid agar hamen buland aawaz se Bismillah parhte hue sunte to farmate is se ijtinab karo. It is narrated by Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Between every two calls to prayer (Adhan) there is a prayer for whoever wishes to pray."

It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Mughaffal that once he saw one of his companions throwing pebbles. He said to him, “Do not do this, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has forbidden throwing pebbles at anyone, and he said that it cannot subdue an enemy nor can it hunt any game, but it can break teeth and blind an eye.” After some time, he saw him throwing pebbles again, so he said, “I told you the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and yet I see you doing the same. From now on, I will not talk to you about such things.”

حضرت ابن مغفل کے حوالے سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ انہوں نے اپنے کسی ساتھی کو دیکھا کہ وہ کنکریاں مار رہا تھا انہوں نے اس سے فرمایا کہ ایسا مت کرو کیونکہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی کو کنکری سے مارنے سے منع فرمایا ہے اور فرمایا ہے کہ اس سے دشمن نہ زیر ہوسکتا ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی شکار پکڑا جاسکتا ہے البتہ اس سے دانت ٹوٹ سکتا ہے اور کسی کی آنکھ پھوٹ سکتی ہے کچھ عرصے کے بعد انہوں نے دوبارہ کنکریوں سے مارتے ہوئے دیکھا تو فرمایا کہ میں نے تم کو نبی ﷺ کی حدیث بیان کی تھی اور پھر بھی تمہیں وہی کام کرتے ہوئے دیکھتاہوں آج کے بعد میں تم سے کوئی بات اس طرح نہیں کروں گا۔
Hazrat Ibn Mughfal ke hawale se marvi hai ki ek martaba unhon ne apne kisi sathi ko dekha ki woh kankariyan maar raha tha unhon ne us se farmaya ki aisa mat karo kyunki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi ko kankari se marne se mana farmaya hai aur farmaya hai ki us se dushman na zeer ho sakta hai aur na hi koi shikar pakda ja sakta hai albatta us se daant toot sakta hai aur kisi ki aankh phoot sakti hai kuch arse ke baad unhon ne dobara kankariyon se marte hue dekha to farmaya ki main ne tum ko Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki hadees bayan ki thi aur phir bhi tumhen wohi kaam karte hue dekhta hun aaj ke baad main tum se koi baat is tarah nahin karun ga.
It is narrated by Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If dogs were not a nation among you, I would have ordered their eradication. Therefore, kill the jet-black ones among them.

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اگر کتے بھی ایک امت نہ ہوتے تو میں ان کی نسل کو ختم کرنے کا حکم دیتا لہذا جو انتہائی سیاہ کتا ہو اسے قتل کردیا کرو۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya agar kutte bhi ek ummat na hote to main un ki nasal ko khatam karne ka hukm deta lehaza jo intehai siyah kutta ho use qatl kar diya karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Mugfal that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade urinating in the bathroom, because generally the ailment of whispers (evil suggestions/waswasa) is caused by it.

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے حمام میں پیشاب کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے کیونکہ عام طور پر وسوسے کی بیماری اسی سے لگتی ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hammam mein peshab karne se mana farmaya hai kyunki aam taur par waswase ki bimari isi se lagti hai.
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever keeps dogs, except for (guarding) livestock or for hunting, one Qirat will be deducted from his reward each day."

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو لوگ بھی اپنے یہاں کتے رکھتے ہیں ان کے اجروثواب سے روزانہ ایک قیراط کی کمی ہوتی رہتی ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo log bhi apne yahan kutte rakhte hain un ke ajro sawab se rozana ek qirat ki kami hoti rehti hai.
It is narrated by Abdullah bin Mughaffal that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting the Holy Quran on the occasion of the conquest of Makkah. If people did not gather around me, I would have recited it to you in the manner of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited Surah Al-Fath. Muawiyah bin Qurrah said: If I were not afraid of people gathering around me, I would have imitated the manner of recitation described by Abdullah bin Mughaffal and shown you how the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite.

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو فتح مکہ کے موقع پر قرآن کریم پڑھتے ہوئے سنا تھا اگر لوگ میرے پاس مجمع نہ لگاتے تو میں تمہیں نبی ﷺ کے انداز میں پڑھ کر سناتا نبی ﷺ نے سورت فتح کی تلاوت فرمائی تھی معاویہ بن قرہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر مجھے بھی مجمع لگ جانے کا اندیشہ نہ ہوتا تو تمہیں تمہارے سامنے حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل کا بیان کردہ طرز نقل کرکے دکھاتا کہ نبی ﷺ نے کس طرح قرأت فرمائی تھی۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Fath Makkah ke mauqe par Quran Kareem parhte hue suna tha agar log mere pass majma na lagate to main tumhen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke andaz mein parh kar sunata Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Surah Fath ki tilawat farmai thi Muawiya bin Qura kehtay hain ki agar mujhe bhi majma lag jane ka andesha na hota to tumhen tumhare samne Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal ka bayan karda tarz naqal karke dikhata ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kis tarah qirat farmai thi.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Ibn Mughaffal that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, initially ordered the killing of dogs. Then he said later that it was no longer necessary and permitted keeping dogs for hunting and for the protection of goats and sheep. And he said that when a dog puts its mouth in a utensil, wash it seven times and the eighth time rub it with earth.

حضرت ابن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ابتداءً کتوں کو مارنے کا حکم دیا تھا پھر بعد میں فرمادیا کہ اب اس کی ضرورت نہیں ہے اور شکاری کتے اور بکریوں کے ریوڑ کی حفاظت کے لئے کتے رکھنے کی اجازت دے دی۔ اور فرمایا کہ جب کسی برتن میں کتا منہ ڈال دے تو اسے سات مرتبہ دھوؤ اور آٹھویں مرتبہ مٹی سے مانجھا کرو۔
Hazrat Ibn Mughaffal se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ibtidaan kutton ko marne ka hukm diya tha phir baad mein farmaya keh ab is ki zaroorat nahi hai aur shikari kutte aur bakriyon ke rewar ki hifazat ke liye kutte rakhne ki ijazat de di. Aur farmaya keh jab kisi bartan mein kutta munh daal de to use saat martaba dho aur athwein martaba mitti se manjha karo.
Narrated Abdullah bin Mughaffal: On the occasion of Khaybar, I found a leather container in which there was some fat. I took it and put it under my armpit. Suddenly I looked up and saw that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was looking at me and smiling. I felt ashamed.

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ خیبر کے موقع پر مجھے چمڑے کا ایک برتن ملا جس میں چربی تھی میں نے اسے پکڑ کر اپنی بغل میں رکھ لیا اچانک میری نظر پڑی تو نبی ﷺ مجھے دیکھ کر مسکرا رہے تھے اس پر مجھے شرم آگئی۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal se marvi hai ki Khaibar ke mauke par mujhe chamde ka ek bartan mila jis mein charbi thi maine use pakad kar apni baghal mein rakh liya achanak meri nazar padi to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mujhe dekh kar muskura rahe the is par mujhe sharm aagayi.
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever keeps a dog, except one that is guarding livestock, hunting dogs, or farm dogs, then a Qirat will be deducted from his reward each day."

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو لوگ بھی اپنے یہاں کتے رکھتے ہیں جو کھیت یا شکار یا ریوڑ کی حفاظت کے لئے نہ ہو ان کی اجروثواب سے روزانہ ایک قیراط کی کمی ہوتی رہتی ہے۔

It is narrated by Abdullah bin Mughafal that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade urinating in the bathroom, because it often leads to ailment of whispers (i.e., evil thoughts).

It is narrated from Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: If dogs were not a nation (i.e., had some purpose in creation), I would have ordered their eradication. So kill every completely black dog. Whoever keeps a dog, except for guarding crops, hunting, or tending livestock, will have a Qirat (a measure of good deeds) deducted from his reward every day. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, also said: You may pray amongst a flock of sheep, but not amongst a herd of camels, for they were created from devils. (They have devilish nature).

It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The prayer of a person becomes invalid if a woman, a dog or a donkey passes in front of him.

حضرت ابن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ نمازی کے آگے سے عورت، کتا یا گدھا گذر جانے سے تو نماز ٹوٹ جاتی ہے۔
Hazrat Ibn Maghfal se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki namazi ke aage se aurat, kutta ya gadha guzar jaane se to namaz toot jati hai.
It is narrated by Ibn Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade throwing stones at anyone, saying that it cannot subdue an enemy nor can it catch prey, however, it can break teeth and blind eyes.

حضرت ابن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی کو کنکری سے مارنے سے منع فرمایا ہے اور فرمایا ہے کہ اس سے دشمن زیر نہیں ہوسکتا اور نہ ہی کوئی شکار پکڑا جاسکتا ہے البتہ اس سے دانت ٹوٹ جاتا ہے اور آنکھ پھوٹ سکتی ہے۔
Hazrat Ibn Mughaffal se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi ko kankri se marne se mana farmaya hai aur farmaya hai ki is se dushman zair nahi ho sakta aur na hi koi shikar pakda ja sakta hai albatta is se daant toot jata hai aur aankh foot sakti hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Between every two calls to prayer there is a prayer, whoever wishes may offer it. (He said it twice).

حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا ہر دو اذانوں کے درمیان نماز ہے جو چاہے پڑھ لے (دو مرتبہ فرمایا)۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya har do azanon ke darmiyaan namaz hai jo chahe parh le (do martaba farmaya).
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Mafool that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever accompanies a funeral procession and offers the funeral prayer will get a reward of one Qirat, and whoever waits until the burial is finished will get a reward of two Qirats."

حضرت ابن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص جنازے کے ساتھ جائے اور نماز جنازہ پڑھے تو اسے ایک قیراط ثواب ملے گا اور جو شخص دفن سے فراغت کا انتظار کرے اسے دو قیراط ثواب ملے گا۔
Hazrat Ibn Mughaffal se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs janaze ke sath jaye aur namaz janaza padhe to use ek qirat sawab milega aur jo shakhs dafan se faraghat ka intezar kare use do qirat sawab milega.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Whoever keeps a dog, except for guarding livestock, hunting, or guarding crops, will have one qirat deducted from his reward every day."

Fazil bin Zaid Raqashi said that once we were sitting with Abdullah bin Mughaffal and the subject of alcohol came up. Abdullah said that alcohol is forbidden. I asked if it was forbidden in the Book of Allah. He replied, "What is your intention? Do you want me to tell you what I heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding this matter?" I said yes. He said, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbidding (drinking from) gourds, Hantam and Muzaffat." I asked about the meaning of Hantam. He said, "Every green or white (drinking vessel made out of) gourd." I asked about the meaning of Muzaffat. He said, "(A vessel made out of) wood or something else that has been coated with pitch." And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade (drinking from) Naqir. When I heard this Hadith, I bought a tanned leather vessel (for drinking). Look, it is hanging (there). We make Nabidh in it.

فضیل بن زید رقاشی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ شراب کا تذکرہ شروع ہوگیا اور حضرت عبداللہ کہنے لگے کہ شراب حرام ہے میں نے پوچھا کہ کیا کتاب اللہ میں اسے حرام قرار دیا گیا ہے انہوں نے فرمایا کہ تمہارا کیا مقصد ہے کیا تم یہ چاہتے ہو کہ میں نے اس سلسلے میں نبی ﷺ سے جو سنا ہے وہ تمہیں بھی سناؤں میں نے نبی ﷺ کو کدو، حنتم اور مزفت سے منع کرتے ہوئے سنا ہے میں نے حنتم کا مطلب پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ہر سبز اور سفید مٹکا میں نے مزفت کا مطلب پوچھا تو فرمایا کہ لک وغیرہ سے بنا ہوا برتن اور نبی ﷺ نے نقیر سے منع فرمایا ہے۔ جب میں نے یہ حدیث سنی تو میں نے دباغت دی ہوئی کھال کا برتن خرید لیا یہ دیکھو وہ لٹک رہا ہے اسی میں نبیذ بنائی جاتی ہے۔
Fazil bin Zaid Raqashi kehte hain ke aik martaba hum log Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal ke paas baithe hue the ke sharaab ka tazkara shuru hogaya aur Hazrat Abdullah kehne lage ke sharaab haram hai maine poocha ke kya kitab Allah mein ise haram qarar diya gaya hai unhon ne farmaya ke tumhara kya maqsad hai kya tum yeh chahte ho ke maine is silsile mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se jo suna hai wo tumhen bhi sunaon maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko kaddu, hantam aur muzfat se mana karte hue suna hai maine hantam ka matlab poocha to unhon ne farmaya ke har sabz aur safaid mitka maine muzfat ka matlab poocha to farmaya ke lakk waghaira se bana hua bartan aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne naqeer se mana farmaya hai jab maine yeh hadees suni to maine dibaaghat di hui khaal ka bartan khareed liya yeh dekho wo latak raha hai isi mein nabiz banai jati hai
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Fear Allah regarding my companions. Do not make them targets of criticism after me. Whoever loves them, loves them because of their love for me, and whoever hates them, hates them because of their hate for me. Whoever harms them, harms me, and whoever harms me, harms Allah, and Allah will soon seize him."

حضرت ابن مغفل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا میرے صحابہ کے بارے میں کچھ کہنے سے اللہ سے ڈرو میرے پیچھے میرے صحابہ کو نشان طعن مت بنانا جو ان سے محبت کرتا ہے وہ میری محبت کی وجہ سے ان سے محبت کرتا ہے اور جو ان سے نفرت کرتا ہے وہ مجھ سے نفرت کی وجہ سے ان سے نفرت کرتا ہے جو انہیں ایذاء پہنچاتا ہے وہ مجھے ایذاء پہنچاتا ہے اور جو مجھے ایذاء پہنچاتا ہے وہ اللہ کو ایذاء پہنچاتا ہے اللہ اسے عنقریب ہی پکڑ لے گا۔
Hazrat Ibn Mughaffal se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya mere sahaba ke bare mein kuchh kehny se Allah se daro mere peechy mere sahaba ko nishan ta'an mat banana jo un se mohabbat karta hai woh meri mohabbat ki waja se un se mohabbat karta hai aur jo un se nafrat karta hai woh mujh se nafrat ki waja se un se nafrat karta hai jo unhen ezaa pohanchata hai woh mujhe ezaa pohanchata hai aur jo mujhe ezaa pohanchata hai woh Allah ko ezaa pohanchata hai Allah use anqareeb hi pakad le ga.
