It is narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The best witness is the one who bears witness (to the truth) before being asked to do so.

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا بہترین گواہی یہ ہے کہ (حق پر) گواہی کی درخواست سے پہلے گواہی دینے کے لئے تیار ہو۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya behtarin gawahi yeh hai ke Haq par gawahi ki darkhwast se pehle gawahi dene ke liye taiyar ho.
It was narrated from Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not prevent the female slaves of Allah from coming to the mosques of Allah, but they should not go out perfumed."

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اللہ کی باندیوں کو اللہ کی مسجدوں میں آنے سے مت روکا کرو البتہ انہیں چاہئے کہ وہ بن سنور کر نہ نکلیں۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Allah ki bandiyon ko Allah ki masjidon mein aane se mat roka karo albatta unhen chahiye ki woh ban sanwar kar na niklein.
It is narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Muslim man from the tribe of Ashja' passed away in Khyber. The people mentioned him to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Offer the funeral prayer of your companion yourselves." Hearing this, the color drained from the faces of the people (because such a refusal from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was not a good sign for that person). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), perceiving their condition, said, "Your companion, even after setting out in the path of Allah, committed treachery (in the matter of war spoils). We searched his belongings and found a rope worth only two dirhams."
حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ خبیر میں ایک اشجعی مسلمان فوت ہوگیا، نبی کریم ﷺ سے لوگوں نے اس کا ذکر کیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اپنے ساتھی کی نماز جنازہ تم خود ہی پڑھ لو، یہ سن کر لوگوں کے چہروں کا رنگ اڑ گیا (کیونکہ نبی کریم ﷺ کا اس طرح انکار فرمانا اس شخص کے حق میں اچھی علامت نہ تھی) نبی کریم ﷺ نے لوگوں کی کیفیت بھانپ کر فرمایا تمہارے اس ساتھی نے اللہ کی راہ میں نکل کر بھی (مال غنیمت میں) خیانت کی ہے ہم نے اس کے سامان کی تلاشی لی تو ہمیں اس میں سے ایک رسی ملی جس کی قیمت صرف دو درہم کے برابر تھی۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Khyber mein ek Ashjai musalman foot hogaya, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se logon ne uska zikar kiya to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya apne sathi ki namaz janaza tum khud hi parh lo, ye sun kar logon ke chehron ka rang ur gaya (kyunki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka is tarah inkar farmana is shakhs ke haq mein achhi alamat na thi) Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne logon ki kefiyat bhannp kar farmaya tumhare is sathi ne Allah ki raah mein nikal kar bhi (maal ghanimat mein) khiyanat ki hai hum ne uske saman ki talashi li to humein us mein se ek rassi mili jis ki keemat sirf do dirham ke barabar thi.
It is narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever provides a fasting person with food to break his fast, will receive the same reward as the fasting person, without any decrease in the reward of the fasting person. And whoever equips a warrior for Jihad or looks after his family in his absence, will receive the same reward as the warrior, without any decrease in the reward of the warrior."

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص کسی روزہ دار کو روزہ افطار کرائے اس کے لئے روزہ دار کے برابر اجروثواب لکھا جائے گا اور روزہ دار کے ثواب میں ذرا سی کمی بھی نہیں کی جائے گی اور جو شخص کسی مجاہد کے لئے سامان جہاد مہیا کرے یا اس کی پیچھے اس کے اہل خانہ کی حفاظت کرے تو اس کے لئے مجاہد کے برابر اجروثواب لکھاجائے گا اور مجاہد کے ثواب میں ذرا سی کمی بھی نہیں کی جائے گی۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs kisi rozahdar ko rozah iftar karaye uske liye rozahdar ke barabar ajro sawab likha jayega aur rozahdar ke sawab mein zara si kami bhi nahi ki jayegi aur jo shakhs kisi mujahid ke liye saman jihad muhayya kare ya uski peeche uske ahl e khana ki hifazat kare to uske liye mujahid ke barabar ajro sawab likha jayega aur mujahid ke sawab mein zara si kami bhi nahi ki jayegi.
It is narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Do not make your houses graveyards, but offer prayers in them too.

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اپنے گھروں کو قبرستان نہ بنایا کرو، بلکہ ان میں بھی نماز پڑھا کرو۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya apne gharon ko qabristan na banaya karo, balkeh in mein bhi namaz parrha karo.
Narrated by Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Once, Jibril (Gabriel) (peace be upon him) came to me and said, “O Muhammad! Order your companions to recite Talbiyah in a loud voice because it is a symbol of Hajj.”

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا ایک مرتبہ حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام میرے پاس آئے اور عرض کیا کہ اے محمد! اپنے صحابہ کو حکم دیجئے کہ تلبیہ بلند آواز سے کہا کریں کیونکہ یہ حج کا شعار ہے۔

It is narrated by Zayd bin Khalid (May Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do not curse the rooster, for it calls to prayer."
حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا مرغے کو برا بھلا نہ کہا کرو کیونکہ یہ نماز کی طرف بلاتا ہے۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya murghy ko bura bhala na kaha karo kyunki yeh namaz ki taraf bulata hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that he once thought that tonight I will definitely see the way the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prays. So I made the threshold of the Holy Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) house my pillow. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) first prayed two short rak'ahs, then two long rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs shorter than the first, then two rak'ahs shorter than that, then two rak'ahs shorter than that, then two rak'ahs shorter than that, then prayed Witr, making a total of thirteen rak'ahs.

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے ایک مرتبہ سوچا کہ آج رات میں نبی کریم ﷺ کا طریقہ نماز ضرور دیکھوں گا چنانچہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے گھر کی چوکھٹ کو اپنا تکیہ بنالیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے پہلے دو رکعتیں ہلکی پڑھیں، پھر دو طویل رکعتیں پڑھیں، پھر دو رکعتیں پڑھیں جو پہلے سے ہلکی تھیں پھر دو رکعتیں اس سے مختصر پڑھیں، پھر دو رکعتیں اس سے مختصر پڑھیں، پھر دو رکعتیں اس سے مختصر پڑھیں، پھر وتر پڑھے اور یوں کل تیرہ رکعتیں ہوگئیں۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid RA se marvi hai ki unhon ne ek martaba socha ki aaj raat main Nabi Kareem SAW ka tareeqa namaz zaroor dekhon ga chunancha main ne Nabi Kareem SAW ke ghar ki chaukhat ko apna takiya bana liya Nabi Kareem SAW ne pehle do rakaton halki parhin, phir do tavil rakaton parhin, phir do rakaton parhin jo pehle se halki thin phir do rakaton is se mukhtasar parhin, phir do rakaton is se mukhtasar parhin, phir do rakaton is se mukhtasar parhin, phir witr parhe aur yun kul terah rakaton ho gayin.
Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever equips a warrior for Jihad, looks after his family in his absence, then for him is the same reward as the warrior, without diminishing the reward of the warrior in the slightest."

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص کسی مجاہد کے لئے سامان جہاد مہیا کرے اس کے پیچھے اس کے اہل خانہ کی حفاظت کرے تو اس کے لئے مجاہد کے برابر اجروثواب لکھاجائے گا اور مجاہد کے ثواب میں ذرا سی کمی بھی نہیں کی جائے گی۔

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کیا میں تمہیں بہترین گواہوں کے بارے نہ بتاؤں؟ جو (حق پر) گواہی کی درخواست سے پہلے گواہی دینے کے لئے تیار ہو۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne irshad farmaya kya main tumhen behtarin gawahon ke bare mein na bataon? Jo (haq par) gawahi ki darkhwast se pehle gawahi dene ke liye tayyar ho.
Narrated by Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If I had not feared hardship for my Ummah, I would have ordered them to use Miswak at the time of every prayer." That is why when Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) would go to the mosque, he would keep the Miswak on his ear like a scribe's pen, and when the Iqamah would be called, he would use the Miswak before starting the prayer.

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اگر مجھے اپنی امت پر مشقت کا اندیشہ نہ ہوتا تو میں انہیں ہر نماز کے وقت مسواک کرنے کا حکم دیتا اسی وجہ سے حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ جب مسجد میں جاتے تو مسواک ان کے کانوں پر اس طرح رکھی ہوتی تھی جیسے کاتب کا قلم ہوتا ہے اور جب اقامت ہوتی تو وہ نماز شروع ہونے سے پہلے مسواک کرتے تھے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbidding looting and pickpocketing.

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے کو لوٹ مار کرنے اور اچکے پن سے منع کرتے ہوئے سنا ہے۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ko loot maar karne aur uchke pan se mana karte hue suna hai.
Narrated by Zaid bin Khalid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once a man asked Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), “O Messenger of Allah! What do you say if I find silver in a fallen purse?”. The Prophet (PBUH) replied, “Memorize its features, its string, and its amount, and announce it for one year. If its owner comes during this period, hand it over to him, otherwise it is yours.”

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ کسی آدمی نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! اگر مجھے گری پڑی کسی تھیلی میں چاندی مل جائے تو آپ کیا فرماتے ہوئے ہیں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس کا ظرف، اس کا بندھن اور اس کی تعداد اچھی طرح محفوظ کر کے ایک سال تک اس کی تشہیر کرو اور اس دوران اس کا مالک آجائے تو اس کے حوالے کردو ورنہ وہ تمہاری ہوگئی۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba kisi aadmi ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poocha Ya Rasool Allah agar mujhe giri pari kisi theli mein chandi mil jaye to aap kya farmate hue hain Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya iska zarf iska bandhan aur iski tadaad achhi tarah mahfooz kar ke ek saal tak iski tashheer karo aur is dauran iska malik aa jaye to uske hawale kar do warna woh tumhari hogayi.
Narrated by Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Shall I not inform you of the best of witnesses? Those who bear witness (to the truth) before they are asked to do so.

Narrated Zayd ibn Khalid: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Quraysh, Ansar, Aslam, Ghifar, Ashja' and Juhainah are each other's freed slaves, having no masters except Allah and His Messenger.

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا قریش اور انصار، اسلم اور غفار، اشجع اور جہینہ ایک دوسرے کے خلیف موالی ہیں جن کا اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے علاوہ کوئی مولیٰ نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Quresh aur Ansar, Aslam aur Ghaffar, Ashja aur Juhainah ek dusre ke khalif moali hain jin ka Allah aur uske Rasool ke ilawa koi moala nahi hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: “Whoever touches his private parts, it is obligatory upon him to perform ablution.”

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص اپنی شرمگاہ کو چھوئے اسے چاہئے کہ نیا وضو کرے۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki jo shakhs apni sharamgah ko chhuye use chahiye ki naya wuzu kare.
Narrated by Zaid bin Khalid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once The Holy Prophet (PBUH) distributed goats among his companions (رضي الله تعالى عنه) for sacrifice, so I received a six-month-old kid in my share. I took it to The Holy Prophet (PBUH) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! This is only a six-month-old kid. (Is it permissible to sacrifice it?)" The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "Sacrifice it." So I sacrificed it.

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کے درمیان قربانی کے لئے بکریاں تقسیم کیں تو میرے حصے میں چھ ماہ کا ایک بچہ آیا، میں اسے لے کر نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! یہ تو چھ ماہ کا بچہ ہے (کیا اس کی قربانی ہوجائے گی؟) نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اسی کی قربانی کرلو چنانچہ میں نے اسی کی قربانی کرلی۔
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh aik martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne Sahaba Kiram Raziallahu Anhum ke darmiyaan qurbani ke liye bakriyaan taqseem keen to mere hisse mein chhe mah ka aik bachcha aaya, main use le kar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz kiya Ya Rasulallah! yeh to chhe mah ka bachcha hai (kya is ki qurbani ho jaye gi?) Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya isi ki qurbani karlo chunancha main ne isi ki qurbani kar li.
It is narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever offers two rak'ahs of prayer without any heedlessness, Allah Almighty will forgive all his past sins."

حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص دو رکعتیں اس طرح پڑھے کہ ان میں غافل نہ ہو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے گزشتہ سارے گناہ معاف فرما دے گا۔
