Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that she used to apply perfume to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) before he assumed the state of Ihram and also before he performed Tawaf of the Ka'bah for his Halal (permissible acts).

(٨٩٥٢) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے احرام کو احرام باندھنے سے پہلے خوشبو لگاتی تھی اور بیت اللہ کا طواف کرنے سے پہلے آپ کے حلال ہونے کے لیے بھی۔

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) spread her hand and said: "I perfumed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with my own hands, between these two hands of mine, for the state of Ihram when he assumed it, and for the state of release from Ihram before he performed the farewell Tawaf of the House."

(٨٩٥٣) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) نے اپنا ہاتھ پھیلائے اور فرمایا : میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اپنے ان دونوں ہاتھوں سے خوشبو لگائی حرم کے لیے جب انھوں نے احرام باندھا اور حل کے لیے طواف بیت اللہ سے پہلے۔
(8953) Syeda Ayesha (RA) ne apna hath phelaye aur farmaya: mein ne Rasul Allah (SAW) ko apne in donon hathon se khushbu lagai haram ke liye jab unhon ne ehram bandha aur hal ke liye tawaf baitullah se pehle.
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with my own two hands before he entered the state of Ihram for Hajj, and before he performed the farewell Tawaf of the Ka'bah."

(٨٩٥٤) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے اپنے دن دو ہاتھوں کے ساتھ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو خوشبو لگائی حرم کے لیے احرام باندھنے سے پہلے اور حل کے لیے بیت اللہ کا طواف کرنے سے پہلے۔
(8954) Syeda Ayesha (RA) farmati hain ke maine apne don hathon ke sath Rasul Allah (SAW) ko khushbu lagai haram ke liye ehram bandhne se pehle aur hal ke liye baitullah ka tawaf karne se pehle.
Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) saying: "I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for Hajj and Umrah." I asked: "What kind of perfume?" She said: "The best kind of perfume."

(٨٩٥٥) زبیر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں عائشہ (رض) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو حل وحرم کے لیے خوشبو لگائی، میں نے پوچھا : کون سی خوشبو ؟ تو کہنے لگیں : بہترین قسم کی خوشبو۔
Zubair (RA) farmate hain ke main Ayesha (RA) ko ye farmate huye suna ke maine Rasulullah (SAW) ko halal o haram ke liye khushbu lagai, maine poocha: kaun si khushbu? To kehne lagi: behtarin qisam ki khushbu.
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that she applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with Dharira perfume at the time of Hajj al-Wida (Farewell Pilgrimage) for both his state of Ihram and non-Ihram.

(٨٩٥٦) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے حل اور احرام کے لیے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر ذریرہ خوشبو لگائی۔
(8956) Sayyidah Ayesha (RA) farmati hain ke maine hil aur ehram ke liye Rasul Allah (SAW) ko Hajj al-Wida ke mauqe par zareera khushbu lagai.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: It is as if I can see the whiteness of perfume in the parting of the Messenger of Allah’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) hair, when he was in the state of Ihram.

(٨٩٥٧) عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں گویا کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سر کی مانگ میں خوشبو کی سفیدی دیکھ رہی ہوں جب کہ آپ احرام والے تھے۔
(8957) Ayesha (RA) farmati hain goya keh mein Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sar ki mang mein khushbu ki safedi dekh rahi hun jab keh aap ehram wale thay.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "It is as if I can see the whiteness of perfume in the parting of the Messenger of Allah's (peace be upon him) hair, while he was in the state of Ihram."

(٨٩٥٨) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ گویا کہ میں خوشبو کی سفیدی رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی مانگ میں دیکھ رہی ہوں جب کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) احرام کی حالت میں تھے۔
(8958) Syeda Ayesha (RA) farmati hain keh goya keh mein khushbu ki safedi Rasool Allah (SAW) ki mang mein dekh rahi hon jab keh aap (SAW) ehram ki halat mein thay.
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: It is as if I can see the whiteness of camphor in the parting of the hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family), even though he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) was in the state of ihram.

(٨٩٥٩) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں : گویا کہ میں کستوری کی سفیدی رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی مانگ میں دیکھ رہی ہوں حالاں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) محرم تھے۔
(8959) Sayyida Ayesha (RA) farmati hain : Goya keh mein kasturi ki safedi Rasul Allah (SAW) ki mang mein dekh rahi hun halankeh aap (SAW) muhrim thay.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "It is as if I see the whiteness of perfume in the parting of the hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), even though he was in the state of Ihram."

(٨٩٦٠) عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں : گویا کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی مانگ میں خوشبو کی سفیدی دیکھ رہی ہوں حالاں کہ آپ محرم تھے۔
Ayesha (RA) farmati hain : goya keh mein Rasul Allah (SAW) ki mang mein khushbu ki sufaidi dekh rahi hun halankeh aap muhrim thay.
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "It is as if I can still see the whiteness of the perfume in the parting of the Messenger of Allah's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) hair, even three days after he had taken off his Ihram."

(٨٩٦١) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں : گویا کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی مانگ میں احرام کے تین دن بعد بھی خوشبو کی سفیدی دیکھ رہی ہوں۔
(8961) Sayyida Ayesha (RA) farmati hain : Goya keh main Rasul Allah (SAW) ki mang mein ehram ke teen din baad bhi khushbu ki safedi dekh rahi hun.
(8962) Muhammad bin Muntashir narrated from his father that I asked Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about a person who applies perfume and then assumes Ihram. He said, "I do not like to enter Ihram with the scent of perfume still lingering on me. If I were to find saffron, I would prefer that." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) shortly before he entered Ihram. Then he went in to see his wives and then assumed Ihram."

(٨٩٦٢) محمد بن منتشر اپنے والد سے روایت فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) سے ایسے شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جو خوشبو لگالے اور اس کے بعد احرام باندھ لے تو وہ کہنے لگے کہ میں خوشبو اڑاتا ہوا محرم بن جاؤں یہ بات مجھے پسند نہیں ہے، اگر میں زعفران مل لوں تو یہ مجھے اس سے زیادہ پسند ہے تو عائشہ (رض) نے فرمایا : میں نے احرام کے قریب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو خوشبو لگائی، پھر آپ اپنی بیویوں میں گھومے اور پھر محرم ہوگئے۔
(8962) Muhammad bin Muntashir apne walid se riwayat farmate hain ke maine Abdullah bin Umar (RA) se aise shakhs ke bare mein poocha jo khushbu lagale aur uske baad ehram bandh le to woh kehne lage ke main khushbu urata hua muhrim ban jaun yeh baat mujhe pasand nahin hai, agar main zaffran mil loon to yeh mujhe is se zyada pasand hai to Ayesha (RA) ne farmaya : maine ehram ke qareeb Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko khushbu lagai, phir aap apni biwiyon mein ghoome aur phir muhrim hogaye.
Sayyida Aisha (RA) narrated that she perfumed the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) with the best and most expensive perfume near the state of Ihram.

(٨٩٦٣) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ احرام کے قریب میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو انتہائی عمدہ اور مہنگی خوشبو لگائی تھی۔
(8963) syeda ayesha (rz) farmati hain keh ehram ke qareeb mein ne rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko intehai umdah aur mehngi khushbu lagai thi.
(8964) It was narrated from Muhammad bin 'Ajlan that he heard 'Aishah bint Sa'd say: "I perfumed my father with musk and saffron when he put on his Ihram."

(٨٩٦٤) محمد بن عجلان سے روایت ہے کہ انھوں نے عائشہ بن سعد کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا کہ میں نے اپنے والد کو احرام کے وقت کستوری اور ذریرہ کے ساتھ خوشبو لگائی۔
(8964) Muhammad bin Ajlan se riwayat hai ki unhon ne Ayesha bin Saad ko ye kehte huye suna ki main ne apne wald ko ehram ke waqt kasturi aur zareera ke sath khushbu lagai.
He (Ibn 'Abbas) was asked about applying perfume at the time of ihram, so he said: "I massage it into my head and let it absorb, then I like for its scent to remain."

(٨٩٦٦) ابن عباس (رض) سے احرام کے وقت خوشبو لگانے کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو انھوں نے فرمایا : میں تو اس کو اپنے سر میں مالش کر کے جذب کرلیتا ہوں ، پھر اس کا باقی رہنا پسند کرتا ہوں۔
(8966) Ibn Abbas (RA) se ehram ke waqt khushbu lagane ke bare mein poocha gaya to unhon ne farmaya : mein to is ko apne sar mein malish kar ke jazb karleta hun , phir is ka baqi rehna pasand karta hun.
Aslam, the slave of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) smelled perfume when he was near a tree, so he said: "Where is this fragrance coming from?" Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Commander of the Faithful! It is coming from me." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "From you?!" Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Commander of the Faithful! Umm Habibah applied perfume to me." So Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I order you to go back and wash it off."

(٨٩٦٧) عمر (رض) کے غلام اسلم فرماتے ہیں کہ عمر (رض) نے خوشبو محسوس کی جب وہ درخت کے پاس تھے تو کہنے لگے : خوشبو کہاں سے آرہی ہے ؟ تو معاویہ (رض) نے کہا : امیرالمومنین ! یہ مجھ سے آرہی ہے تو عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : تجھ سے ! تو معاویہ (رض) نے کہا : اے امیرالمومنین ! ام حبیبہ نے مجھے خوشبو لگائی تھی تو عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : میں تجھے حکم دیتا ہوں کہ واپس جا کر اس کو دھو دے۔
8967 Umar (RA) ke ghulam Aslam farmate hain ke Umar (RA) ne khushbu mehsoos ki jab wo darakht ke pass thay to kehne lage: Khushbu kahan se aa rahi hai? To Muawiya (RA) ne kaha: Amir-ul-Momineen! Yeh mujh se aa rahi hai to Umar (RA) ne farmaya: Tujh se! To Muawiya (RA) ne kaha: Aye Amir-ul-Momineen! Umm Habiba ne mujhe khushbu lagai thi to Umar (RA) ne farmaya: Main tumhe hukum deta hun ke wapas ja kar isko dho do.
(8968) Narrated Abdullah bin Umar (RA): When Umar (RA) reached Dhu'l-Hulaifa to perform Hajj, he (smelled and) asked Mu'awiya (RA) about the fragrance he was wearing. Mu'awiya (RA) said, "Umm Habibah (RA) has applied this fragrance to me." Umar (RA) said, "I beseech you by Allah to go and wash it off. By Allah! If I (being in the state of Ihram) get the smell of saffron, that is better for me (than smelling any other fragrance)."
Sheikh (al-Albani) said: Perhaps, the Hadith of Sayyidah Aisha (RA) did not reach him. Had it reached him, he would have surely refrained from his statement. And it is possible that he disliked it, for he thought that an ignorant person might think that Mu'awiya (RA) had applied the fragrance after assuming Ihram, and thus he might consider it permissible.

(٨٩٦٨) عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ عمر (رض) حج پر جاتے ہوئے جبذوالحلیفہ پہنچے تو معاویہ (رض) سے خوشبو سونگھی تو پوچھا کہ یہ خوشبو کس سے آرہی ہے ؟ تو اس نے کہا : یہ ام حبیبہ نے مجھے خوشبو لگا دی ہے تو عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : میں تجھے اللہ کی قسم دیتا ہوں کہ تو اس کو جا کر اسی سے دھلوا دے، اللہ کی قسم ! میں اگر محرم سے گندھک کی خوشبو میں پاؤں تو یہ میرے نزدیک زیادہ بہتر ہے۔
شیخ صاحب فرماتے ہیں کہ شاید انھیں سیدہ عائشہ (رض) والی حدیث نہیں پہنچی ۔ اگر پہنچتی تو وہ اس سے ضرور رجوع فرما لیتے اور ہوسکتا ہے کہ انھوں نے اس وجہ سے اس کو ناپسند کیا ہو کہ جاہل آدمی یہ سمجھ بیٹھے گا کہ اس نے احرام باندھنے کے بعد خوشبو لگائی ہے اور وہ اس کو جائز سمجھ بیٹھے۔
(8968) Abdullah bin Umar (RA) farmate hain ki Umar (RA) Hajj par jate huye jab Zulhulayfah pahunche to Muawiyah (RA) se khushbu soonnghi to poocha ki yeh khushbu kis se aa rahi hai? To usne kaha: Yeh Umm Habiba ne mujhe khushbu laga di hai to Umar (RA) ne farmaya: Main tumhe Allah ki qasam deta hun ki tum isko ja kar isi se dhulwa do, Allah ki qasam! Main agar muhrim se gandhak ki khushbu main paun to yeh mere nazdeek zyada behtar hai.
Sheikh Sahib farmate hain ki shayad unhen Sayyidah Ayesha (RA) wali hadees nahin pahunchi. Agar pahunchti to woh is se zaroor ruju farma lete aur ho sakta hai ki unhon ne is wajah se isko napasand kiya ho ki jahil aadmi yeh samajh baithe ga ki usne ehram bandhne ke baad khushbu lagai hai aur woh isko jaiz samajh baithe.
