Chapter on achieving the Hajj by reaching Arafat before dawn on the Day of Sacrifice.
باب إدراك الحج بإدراك عرفة قبل طلوع الفجر من يوم النحر

'Abdur Rahman bin Ya'mar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he was saying: "Hajj is 'Arafah (i.e., standing at 'Arafah). Whoever reaches 'Arafah before the dawn (of the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah) has attained Hajj or has completed his Hajj. And the days of Mina are three: Whoever hastens (to leave) after the first two days, there is no sin on him, and whoever delays, there is no sin on him."

(٩٨١٢) عبدالرحمن بن یعمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس حاضر ہوا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرما رہے تھے کہ حج عرفہ کا ہی نام ہے، جس نے وقوف عرفہ کو طلوع فجر سے پہلے پا لیا اس نے حج کو پا لیا یا اس کا مکمل ہوگیا اور منیٰ کے تین دن ہیں۔ جو پہلے دو دنوں میں جلدی کرلیتا ہے اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں ہے اور جو موخر کر دے اس پر بھی کوئی گناہ نہیں ہے۔
9812 Abdurrahman bin Umar RA farmate hain keh main Nabi SAW ke pass hazir hua Aap SAW farma rahe the keh Hajj Arafah ka hi naam hai jis ne waqoof Arafah ko talua fajr se pehle pa liya us ne Hajj ko pa liya ya uska mukammal hogaya aur Mina ke teen din hain jo pehle do dinon mein jaldi karleta hai us par koi gunah nahi hai aur jo moakhir kar de us par bhi koi gunah nahi hai
'Abdul Rahman bin Ya'mur Dailmi (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was in 'Arafat. A group of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) came to him and they commanded a man. He called out: O Messenger of Allah, how is Hajj performed? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded a man to announce that Hajj is the Day of 'Arafat. Whoever comes to 'Arafat at night before the morning prayer, his Hajj is complete. The (throwing of the) pebbles (at Mina) are for three days. Whoever hastens (in throwing the pebbles) in two days, there is no sin on him. Then after that a man came and he announced this.

(٩٨١٣) عبدالرحمن بن یعمردیلمی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آیا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) عرفات میں تھے، صحابہ (رض) کا ایک گروہ آپ کے پاس آیا، انھوں نے ایک آدمی کو حکم دیا۔ اس نے آواز دی : اے اللہ کے رسول ! ، حج کیسے ہوتا ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک آدمی کو حکم دیا کہ وہ اعلان کرے کہ حج عرفہ کا دن ہے۔ جو عرفات میں رات کو صبح کی نماز سے پہلے آگیا۔ اس کا حج مکمل ہے۔ منیٰ کے تین دن ہیں۔ جو دو دن میں جلدی کرے (کنکر مارنے میں) اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں۔ پھر اس کے بعد ایک آدمی آیا اس نے یہ اعلان کیا۔
(9813) abdul rehman bin yaamur dailami (rz) farmate hain ke main rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass aya aur aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) arafaat mein thay, sahaba (rz) ka ek giroh aap ke pass aya, unhon ne ek aadmi ko hukum diya. usne awaz di : aye allah ke rasool ! , hajj kaise hota hai ? aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne ek aadmi ko hukum diya ke woh elaan kare ke hajj arafah ka din hai. jo arafah mein raat ko subah ki namaz se pehle agaya. uska hajj mukammal hai. mina ke teen din hain. jo do din mein jaldi kare (kankar marne mein) us par koi gunah nahi. phir uske baad ek aadmi aya usne ye elaan kiya.
Haritha bin Laam (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at Muzdalifah. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I came from between the two mountains of Tai. By Allah, I have exhausted myself and my riding beast. I did not leave any mountain but I stood on it (to search for you). Is there Hajj for me?" He (ﷺ) said: "Whoever attends Fajr prayer with us at Muzdalifah and has performed Wuquf at Arafah during the day or night, then his Hajj is complete and his sins are erased." Sufyan said: "Zakariyya has added something to it. He is the one who remembers this Hadith the most from all three of them. He said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I came from the mountains of Tai. I have exhausted my riding beast and myself. Is there Hajj for me?' He (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever attends this prayer with us and performs Wuquf with us and has performed Wuquf at Arafah for a part of the day or night, then his Hajj is complete and his filth is gone.’” Sufyan said: "Dawud bin Abi Masr has added something, that he came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when Fajr had ascended."

(٩٨١٤) حارثہ بن لام (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس مزدلفہ میں آیا، میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! میں طی کے دو پہاڑوں کے درمیان سے آیا ہوں، قسم بخدا ! میں اپنے آپ کو تھکا کر آیا ہوں اور اپنی سواری کو بھی۔ میں نے کوئی پہاڑ نہیں چھوڑا مگر میں نے اس پر ضرور وقوف کیا ہے۔ کیا میرے لیے حج ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو بندہ مزدلفہ میں نماز فجر میں ہمارے ساتھ حاضر ہوجاتا ہے اور اس نے وقوف عرفہ دن یا رات کے حصہ میں کیا ہوا ہے۔ اس کا حج مکمل ہوگیا اور میل کچیل ختم ہوگئی۔ سفیان کہتے ہیں کہ زکریا نے اس میں کچھ اضافہ کیا ہے، وہ تینوں سے اس حدیث کو زیادہ یاد رکھنے والے ہیں، کہتے ہیں : میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! میں اس وقت طی کے پہاڑوں سے آیا ہوں۔ میں نے اپنی سواری اور اپنے آپ کو بھی تھکا دیا ہے، کیا میرے لیے حج ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو ہمارے ساتھ اس نماز میں حاضر ہوا اور ہمارے ساتھ وقوف کیا اور رات و دن کے حصہ میں عرفہ کے اندر وقوف کیا اس کا حج مکمل ہوگیا ، گندگی دور ہوگئی ۔ سفیان کہتے ہیں کہ داود بن ابی معسر نے کچھ اضافہ کیا ہے کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آیا جب فجر طلوع ہوئی۔
(9814) Haritha bin Laam (RA) farmate hain ki main Rasool Allah (SAW) ke pass Muzdalifah mein aaya, maine kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! main Tai ke do paharon ke darmiyaan se aaya hun, qasam bkhuda! main apne aap ko thaka kar aaya hun aur apni sawari ko bhi. maine koi pahar nahi chhora magar main ne is par zaroor waqoof kiya hai. kya mere liye Hajj hai? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Jo banda Muzdalifah mein namaz Fajr mein hamare saath hazir hojata hai aur is ne waqoof Arafah din ya raat ke hissa mein kiya hua hai. Is ka Hajj mukammal hogaya aur mail kacheel khatam hogayi. Sufian kahte hain ki Zakaria ne is mein kuchh izafa kiya hai, woh teeno se is hadees ko zyada yaad rakhne wale hain, kahte hain: maine kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! main is waqt Tai ke paharon se aaya hun. maine apni sawari aur apne aap ko bhi thaka diya hai, kya mere liye Hajj hai? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Jo hamare saath is namaz mein hazir hua aur hamare saath waqoof kiya aur raat o din ke hissa mein Arafah ke andar waqoof kiya is ka Hajj mukammal hogaya, gandagi door hogayi. Sufian kahte hain ki Dawud bin Abi Masar ne kuchh izafa kiya hai ki main Rasool Allah (SAW) ke pass aaya jab Fajr talu hui.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever returns before dawn from Arafat and whose wuquf (standing) at Arafah is missed, his Hajj is also missed.”

(٩٨١٥) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو عرفات سے صبح سے پہلے واپس پلٹ آیا اور جس کا وقوف عرفہ رہ گیا تو اس کا حج بھی رہ گیا۔
(9815) Ibne Abbas (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Jo Arafaat se subah se pehle wapas palat aaya aur jis ka waqoof Arafah reh gaya to uska Hajj bhi reh gaya.
(9816) Ibn Juraij narrated from 'Ata' bin Abi Rabah that Hajj is not missed, meaning it is not considered missed, as long as the dawn has not broken after the night of Muzdalifah. He said: I said to 'Ata': Did this reach you from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? He said: Yes.

(٩٨١٦) ابن جریج حضرت عطاء بن ابی رباح سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ حج فوت نہیں ہوتا یعنی نہیں رہ جاتا جب تک کہ مزدلفہ کی رات کے بعد فجر طلوع نہ ہوجاتی۔ کہتے ہیں : میں نے عطاء سے کہا : کیا یہ بات آپ کو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پہنچی ہے ؟ فرمانے لگے : ہاں۔
9816 ibn juraij hazrat ata bin abi rabah se naqal farmate hain ki hajj foot nahin hota yani nahin reh jata jab tak ki muzdlifa ki raat ke bad fajar talu na hojati kahte hain main ne ata se kaha kya yah baat aap ko nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se pahunchi hai farmane lage haan
Abdullah bin Umar (ra) narrated from Umar bin Khatab (ra) that whoever sacrificed the animal before the break of dawn on the night of sacrifice has completed his Hajj, and whoever did not stand (at Arafat) before dawn, his Hajj is incomplete.

(٩٨١٨) عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) حضرت عمر بن خطاب (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ جس نے قربانی کی رات طلوع فجر سے پہلے پالی، اس نے حج کو پالیا اور جس نے صبح سے پہلے وقوف نہ کیا اس کا حج رہ گیا ، نہ ہوسکا۔
