Husayn ibn Ali narrated that Ali ibn Abi Talib told him that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do you two not pray at night?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Our souls are in the hand of Allah, when He wills to awaken us He awakens us." When I replied, you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went away, but you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not answer anything, and I heard you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying and slapping your thigh: { وَكَانَ الإِنْسَانُ أَكْثَرَ شَیْئٍ جَدَلاً } [al-Kahf: 54] - "And man is most argumentative."

(٤٦٤١) حسین بن علی فرماتے ہیں کہ علی بن ابی طالب نے ان کو بتایا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا تم دونوں رات کو نماز نہیں پڑھتے۔ میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! ہماری جانیں اللہ کے ہاتھ میں ہیں جب وہ ہمیں بیدار کرنا چاہے تو ہمیں بیدار کردیتا ہے، جب میں نے جواب دیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) چلے گئے، لیکن آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے کچھ جواب نہیں دیا اور میں نے سنا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرما رہے تھے اور اپنے ہاتھ اپنی ران پر مار رہے تھے { وَکَانَ الإِنْسَانُ أَکْثَرَ شَیْئٍ جَدَلاً } [الکہف : ٥٤] ۔” انسان بہت زیادہ جھگڑالو ہے۔ “
(4641) Hussain bin Ali farmate hain ke Ali bin Abi Talib ne un ko bataya ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : kya tum donon raat ko namaz nahi parhte. Maine kaha : aye Allah ke Rasool ! Hamari jaanen Allah ke hath mein hain jab wo humain bedar karna chahe to humain bedar karta hai, jab maine jawab diya to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) chale gaye, lekin aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne kuchh jawab nahi diya aur maine suna ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) farma rahe the aur apne hath apni ran par maar rahe the { wa kanal insaanu aksara shai'in jadala } [Al Kahf : 54] . ” Insaan bohat zyada jhagdalu hai “.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when a person would see a dream, they would relate it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said: "I also wished that I could see a dream and relate it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I was a young unmarried man and I used to sleep in the mosque. I saw (in a dream) that two angels came to me, one of them said: 'Take him towards the Fire.' I started saying: 'I seek refuge with Allah from the Hellfire.' Then we met the other angel. He said to me: 'Don't be afraid.' They took me near the Hellfire, and we stood by the edge of Hell. It had two sides like the mounds around a well. I saw in it men whom I recognized. In the morning, I related my dream to Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her), and Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) related it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said: 'Abdullah is a good man. If only he would pray at night.' " Salim said: "After that, Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) rarely slept at night."

(٤٦٤٢) ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے دور میں جب کوئی آدمی خواب دیکھتا تو اپنا خواب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے بیان کرتا۔ فرماتے ہیں : میری بھی تمنا تھی کہ میں خواب دیکھوں اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے بیان کروں اور میں کنوارہ نوجوان تھا اور مسجد میں سوتا تھا۔ میں نے دیکھا : دو فرشتے میرے پاس آئے، ایک نے کہا : اس کو آگ کی طرف لے چلو ، میں نے کہنا شروع کردیا کہ میں اللہ کی پناہ چاہتا ہوں جہنم سے ۔ پھر ہمیں دوسرا فرشتہ ملا اس نے مجھے کہا : گھبراؤ نہیں وہ مجھے جہنم کی طرف لے کر چلے اور ہم جہنم کے کنارے پر کھڑے تھے۔ اس کے دو منڈیر تھیں جیسے کنوئیں کی ہوتی ہیں، میں نے ان میں مرد دیکھے جن کو میں جانتا تھا۔ صبح کے وقت میں نے اپنا خواب حضرت حفصہ (رض) کو سنایا تو حفصہ (رض) نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو سنایا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : عبداللہ اچھا آدمی ہے۔ اگر وہ رات کا قیام کرے۔ سالم فرماتے ہیں کہ اس کے بعد عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) رات کو بہت کم سوتے تھے۔
(4642) Ibne Umar (RA) farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke daur mein jab koi aadmi khwab dekhta to apna khwab Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke samne bayan karta. Farmate hain : meri bhi tamanna thi ke main khwab dekhoon aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke samne bayan karoon aur main kunwara naujawan tha aur masjid mein sota tha. Maine dekha : do farishte mere pass aaye, ek ne kaha : iss ko aag ki taraf le chalo, maine kehna shuru kardiya ke main Allah ki panaah chahta hoon jahannum se. Phir humain doosra farishta mila usne mujhe kaha : ghabarao nahi wo mujhe jahannum ki taraf le kar chale aur hum jahannum ke kinare par khare the. Iss ke do mundair thin jaise kunwain ki hoti hain, maine inn mein mard dekhe jin ko main janta tha. Subah ke waqt maine apna khwab Hazrat Hafsa (RA) ko sunaya to Hafsa (RA) ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko sunaya, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Abdullah achcha aadmi hai. Agar wo raat ka qayam kare. Salim farmate hain ke iss ke baad Abdullah bin Umar (RA) raat ko bahut kam sote the.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you goes to sleep, Satan ties three knots on the back of his neck, each time saying: 'You have a long night, so sleep.' If he wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is loosened. If he performs ablution, the second knot is loosened. And if he prays, the third knot is loosened, and he gets up in the morning energetic with a good spirit. Otherwise, he gets up lazy and with a bad spirit."

(٤٦٤٣) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جب تم میں سے کوئی سو جاتا ہے تو شیطان اس کی گدی پر تین گرہ لگا دیتا ہے۔ ہر گرہ لگاتے وقت وہ کہتا ہے کہ رات بڑی لمبی ہے تو سو جا، جب وہ بیدار ہوتا ہے اور اللہ کا ذکر کرتا ہے تو اس کی گرہ کھل جاتی ہے۔ اگر وضو کرلے تو دوسری گرہ بھی کھل جاتی ہے اور اگر نماز پڑھ لے تو تیسری گرہ بھی کھل جاتی ہے اور انسان صبح خوشی کی حالت میں کرتا ہے۔ اگر وہ یہ کام نہ کرے تو صبح کرتا ہے اور وہ بالکل سست ہوتا ہے۔
(4643) Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Jab tum mein se koi so jata hai to shaitan uski gardan per teen girah laga deta hai. Har girah lagate waqt woh kehta hai keh raat badi lambi hai to so ja, jab woh bedar hota hai aur Allah ka zikar karta hai to uski girah khul jati hai. Agar wazu karle to dusri girah bhi khul jati hai aur agar namaz parh le to teesri girah bhi khul jati hai aur insan subah khushi ki halat mein karta hai. Agar woh ye kaam na kare to subah karta hai aur woh bilkul sust hota hai.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "May Allah have mercy on a man who gets up at night and prays, and he wakes up his wife, and if she refuses, he sprinkles water on her face. And may Allah have mercy on a woman who gets up at night and prays, and she wakes up her husband, and if he refuses, she sprinkles water on his face."

(٤٦٤٤) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ رحم فرمائے اس شخص پر جو رات کو بیدار ہو کر نماز پڑھتا ہے اور اپنی بیوی کو بھی بیدار کرتا ہے۔ اگر وہ انکار کرے تو اس پر پانی کے چھینے مارتا ہے اور اللہ رحم فرمائے اس عورت پر جو رات کو بیدار ہو کر نماز پڑھتی ہے اور اپنے خاوند کو بیدار کرتی ہے اگر وہ بیدار ہونے سے انکار کر دے تو اس کے چہرہ پر چھینٹے مارتی ہے۔
(4644) Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Allah reham farmaye uss shakhs par jo raat ko bedaar ho kar namaz parhta hai aur apni biwi ko bhi bedaar karta hai. Agar wo inkar kare to uss par pani ke chheente marta hai aur Allah reham farmaye uss aurat par jo raat ko bedaar ho kar namaz parhti hai aur apne khawind ko bedaar karti hai agar wo bedaar hone se inkar kar de to uss ke chehre par chheente marti hai.
Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever wakes up at night and wakes up his wife and both of them offer prayer together, they will be recorded among those who remember Allah much."

(٤٦٤٥) ابو سعید (رض) اور ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو شخص رات کو بیدار ہو اور اپنی بیوی کو بھی بیدار کرے اور دونوں اکٹھے نماز پڑھیں تو ان دونوں کو کثرت سے ذکر کرنے والوں میں شمار کیا جاتا ہے۔
(4645) Abu Saeed (Raz) aur Abu Hurairah (Raz) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Jo shakhs raat ko bedaar ho aur apni biwi ko bhi bedaar kare aur dono akathe namaz parhen to un dono ko kasrat se zikr karne walon mein shumar kiya jata hai.
Abdullah bin Salam narrates that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived in Medina and it was said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has arrived, I too came along with the people to see him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When I saw his (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) face, I recognized that this could not be the face of a liar. The first thing that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say was this: O people! Feed (the hungry), give greetings (of peace), maintain ties of kinship, and offer prayer at night when the people are asleep, and you will enter Paradise in peace.

(٤٦٤٧) عبداللہ بن سلام فرماتے ہیں کہ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مدینہ آئے اور کہا : رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تشریف لائے تو میں بھی لوگوں کے ساتھ مل کر آیا، تاکہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی زیارت کروں۔ جب میں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا چہرہ دیکھا تو میں نے پہچان لیا کہ یہ کسی جھوٹے کا چہرہ نہیں ہوسکتا، سب سے پہلی جو بات میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنی یہ ہے کہ اے لوگو ! کھانا کھلاؤ، سلام کرو، صلہ رحمی کرو اور رات کو نماز پڑھو، جب لوگ سوئے ہوئے ہوں تو تم سلامتی کے ساتھ جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ گے۔
(4647) Abdullah bin Salam farmate hain ki jab Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Madina aaye aur kaha: Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) tashreef laye to main bhi logon ke sath mil kar aaya, taake aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki ziyarat karoon. Jab maine aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ka chehra dekha to maine pehchan liya ki yah kisi jhoote ka chehra nahi ho sakta, sabse pehli jo baat maine Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suni yah hai ki aye log! khana khilao, salaam karo, sila rehmi karo aur raat ko namaz parho, jab log soye hue hon to tum salamti ke sath jannat mein dakhil ho jaoge.
Abu Umamah al-Bahili reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Observe prayer at night. It was the habit of the righteous people before you, a way of drawing closer to your Lord, an atonement for bad deeds, and a barrier against sins."

(٤٦٤٨) ابو امامہ باھلی فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم قیام اللیل کو لازم پکڑو کیونکہ یہ تم سے پہلے نیک لوگوں کی عادت ہے اور اللہ کے قرب کا ذریعہ، گناہوں کا کفارہ ہے اور گناہوں سے روکتی ہے۔
(4648) Abu Umama Bahli farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tum qayam al layl ko lazim pakdo kyunki ye tum se pehle nek logon ki aadat hai aur Allah ke qurb ka zariya, gunahon ka kaffara hai aur gunahon se roktee hai.
Narrated Bilal bin Rabah: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Observe the night prayer, for it was the practice of the righteous before you, a means of closeness to your Lord, an atonement for misdeeds, a barrier against sins, and a way to drive away sickness from the body."

(٤٦٤٩) بلال بن رباح سے روایت ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم رات کے قیام کو لازم پکڑو، کیونکہ یہ تم سے پہلے نیک لوگوں کی عادت ہے اور اللہ کے قرب کا ذریعہ، غلطیوں کا کفارہ ہے، گناہوں سے روکتی ہے اور جسم سے بیماریوں کو دور رکھنے کا سبب ہے۔
Bilal bin Rabah se riwayat hai ki aap ne farmaya: Tum raat ke qayam ko lazim pakro, kyunki yeh tum se pehle nek logon ki aadat hai aur Allah ke qurb ka zariya, ghaltiyon ka kaffara hai, gunahon se rokti hai aur jism se bimariyon ko door rakhne ka sabab hai.
Narrated Bilal bin Rabah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Observe the night prayer, for it was the practice of the righteous people who came before you, and it is a means of drawing closer to your Lord, an atonement for wrongdoings, a barrier against sins, and a way to repel sickness from the body."

(٤٦٥٠) بلال بن رباح (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم رات کے قیام کو لازم پکڑو، کیونکہ یہ تم پہلے نیک لوگوں کی عادت ہے اور اللہ کے قرب کا ذریعہ، غلطیوں کا کفارہ ہے، گناہوں سے روکتی ہے اور جسم سے بیماریوں کو دور رکھنے کا سبب ہے۔
(4650) Bilal bin Rabah (RA) se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tum raat ke qayam ko lazim pakdo, kyunki yeh tum pehle nek logon ki aadat hai aur Allah ke qurb ka zariya, ghaltiyon ka kaffara hai, gunaahon se rokti hai aur jism se bimariyon ko door rakhne ka sabab hai.
Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The superiority of night prayer over day prayer is like the superiority of giving charity openly over giving it secretly."

(٤٦٥١) حضرت عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : رات کی نماز کی فضیلت دن کی نماز پر ایسے ہے جیسے جہری صدقہ کرنے کی فضیلت پوشیدہ صدقہ کرنے پر۔
