باب صلاة المأموم في المسجد أو على ظهره أو في رحبته بصلاة الإمام في المسجد وإن كان بينهما مقصورة أو أساطين أو غيرها شبيها بها
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5236
Narrated by Busr bin Saeed from Zaid bin Thabit that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made a room with a mat in the mosque and prayed in it for a few nights. People gathered. Then they missed his (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) voice, so they thought that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had fallen asleep, so they started coughing so that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would come out to them. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I was watching your condition, I was afraid that it might become obligatory on you. If it were to become obligatory on you, you would not be able to offer it. O people! Offer your prayers in your houses, for the best prayer of a person is in his house, except for the obligatory prayer.

(٥٢٣٦) بسر بن سعید زید بن ثابت سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مسجد میں ایک چٹائی سے حجرہ بنایا اور چند راتیں اس میں نماز پڑھی۔ لوگ جمع ہوگئے۔ پھر انھوں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی آواز کو گم پایا تو گمان کیا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سو گئے ہیں تو وہ کھانسی کرنے لگے تاکہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان کی طرف نکلیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میں تمہاری حالت کو دیکھتا رہا، میں ڈر گیا کہ کہیں تمہارے اوپر فرض نہ کردی جائیں۔ اگر وہ فرض کردی جاتیں تو تم نہ پڑھ سکتے۔ اے لوگو ! اپنے گھروں میں قیام کیا کرو، کیونکہ آدمی کی افضل نماز گھر میں ہی ہے سوائے فرض نماز کے۔
(5236) Basar bin Saeed Zaid bin Sabit se naqal farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne masjid mein ek chatai se hujra banaya aur chand raaten us mein namaz parhi. Log jama hogaye. Phir unhon ne aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki awaz ko gum paya to gumaan kiya ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) so gaye hain to woh khansi karne lage taake aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) un ki taraf niklen. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : mein tumhari halat ko dekhta raha, mein dar gaya ke kahin tumhare upar farz na kardi jayen. Agar woh farz kardi jati to tum na parh sakte. Aye logo ! Apne gharon mein qayam kya karo, kyunki aadmi ki afzal namaz ghar mein hi hai siwaye farz namaz ke.
Abu Salama bin 'Abdur-Rahman narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a mat that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would spread out in the mosque at night and pray. People began praying with his (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayer, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would roll up the mat during the day. People started coming continuously at night. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O people! Take upon yourselves only such deeds as you are capable of, for Allah will not tire of rewarding until you tire of doing them. And the most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are done consistently, even if they are few. The family of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would never abandon a good deed once they started it."

(٥٢٣٧) ابو سلمہ بن عبد الرحمن حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی ایک چٹائی تھی جس کا آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) رات کو مسجد میں حجرہ بنا لیتے تھے اور نماز پڑھتے۔ لوگوں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی نماز کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنا شروع کردی اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس چٹائی کو دن میں بچھا دیتے تھے۔ لوگوں نے رات کو مسلسل آنا شروع کردیا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے لوگو ! اپنے اوپر اتنے اعمال لازم کرو جتنے کی تم طاقت رکھتے ہو، کیونکہ اللہ اجر سے نہیں اکتائیں گے تم عمل سے اکتا جاؤ گے اور اللہ کو وہ اعمال زیادہ پسند ہیں جن پر ہمیشگی کی جائے اگرچہ کم ہی ہو۔ آل محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب کوئی عمل شروع کرتے تو اس پر ہمیشگی کرتے۔
(5237) Abu Salma bin Abdur Rahman Hazrat Ayesha (Razi Allah Anha) se naqal farmate hain ke Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki ek chatai thi jis ka aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) raat ko masjid mein hujra bana lete the aur namaz parhte. Logon ne aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki namaz ke sath namaz parhna shuru kardi aur aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) is chatai ko din mein bichha dete the. Logon ne raat ko musalsal aana shuru kardiya. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aye log! Apne upar itne amal laazim karo jitne ki tum taqat rakhte ho, kyunki Allah ajr se nahin aktayenge tum amal se akta jaoge aur Allah ko wo amal zyada pasand hain jin par hameshagi ki jaye agarchi kam hi ho. Aal e Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) jab koi amal shuru karte to is par hameshagi karte.
Abu Salama narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would make his mat his prayer place at night and he would pray on it, and during the day he would spread it out and sit on it. People started coming constantly and praying with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Their number increased greatly, so you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) addressed them and said: "O people! Undertake such deeds as you are capable of, for Allah does not get tired of rewarding until you get tired of doing good deeds, and the most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are few."

(٥٢٣٨) ابو سلمہ حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنی چٹائی کا حجرہ بنا کر رات کو اس میں نماز پڑھتے تھے اور دن کو بچھا کر اس پر بیٹھتے تھے۔ لوگ مسلسل آنا شروع ہوگئے اور وہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ نماز پڑھتے تھے، ان کی مقدار بہت زیادہ ہوگئی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس پر متوجہ ہوئے اور فرمایا : اے لوگو ! اتنے اعمال شروع کرو جتنی تم طاقت رکھتے ہو، کیونکہ اللہ تو اجر سے نہیں اکتائے گے تم ہی اعمال سے اکتا جاؤ گے اور اللہ کو ہمیشگی والے اعمال پسند ہیں اگرچہ کم ہوں۔
5238 Abu Salma Hazrat Aisha (RA) se naqal farmate hain keh Nabi (SAW) apni chatai ka hujra bana kar raat ko us mein namaz parhte thay aur din ko bichha kar us par bethte thay. Log musalsal aana shuru hogaye aur wo Nabi (SAW) ke sath namaz parhte thay, un ki miqdar bohat ziada hogayi to aap (SAW) is par mutawajja huye aur farmaya: Aye logo! Itne amal shuru karo jitni tum taqat rakhte ho, kyunki Allah to ajr se nahi uktaye ga tum hi amal se ukta jaoge aur Allah ko hamesha wale amal pasand hain agarche kam hon.
(5239) (a) Narrated Aisha (RA): The Prophet (PBUH) prayed in his room, and the wall of the room was low. The people saw the posture of the Prophet (PBUH) and they also started praying in the same posture. In the morning, they talked about it. On the second night, the Prophet (PBUH) stood up (in prayer), and the people also prayed along with him. They did so for two or three nights. After that, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) did not come out. In the morning, the people mentioned it, so he (PBUH) said: "I was afraid that the night prayer might be made obligatory on you."
(b) The narration of Zaid bin Thabit indicates that the room was in the mosque.

(٥٢٣٩) (الف) عمرہ حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنے حجرے میں نماز پڑھتے تھے اور حجرے کی دیوار چھوٹی تھی۔ لوگوں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے قیام کو دیکھا تو انھوں نے بھی نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ قیام شروع کردیا، صبح کے وقت اس کے بارے میں باتیں کرتے رہے۔ دوسری رات نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے قیام کیا تو لوگوں نے بھی آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی۔ انھوں نے دو یا تین راتیں ایسا کیا۔ اس کے بعد رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نہیں نکلے۔ صبح کے وقت لوگوں نے تذکرہ کیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میں ڈر گیا تھا کہ کہیں رات کی نماز تمہارے اوپر فرض نہ کردی جائے۔
(ب) زید بن ثابت کی حدیث دلالت کرتی ہے کہ حجرہ مسجد میں تھا۔
(5239) (alif) Umrah Hazrat Ayesha (raz) se naqal farmati hain keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) apne hujray mein namaz parhte thay aur hujray ki diwar chhoti thi. Logon ne aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke qayam ko dekha to unhon ne bhi Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath qayam shuru kar diya, subah ke waqt uske bare mein baaten karte rahe. Dusri raat Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne qayam kiya to logon ne bhi aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath namaz parhi. Unhon ne do ya teen raaten aisa kiya. Iske baad Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) nahin nikle. Subah ke waqt logon ne tazkara kiya to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : mein dar gaya tha keh kahin raat ki namaz tumhare upar farz na kar di jaye.
(be) Zaid bin Sabit ki hadees dalalat karti hai keh hujra masjid mein tha.
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would pray in his room, and the people would follow him in prayer from outside the room. They would pray with his prayer.

(٥٢٤٠) عمرۃ حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنے حجرے میں نماز پڑھتے تھے اور لوگ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اقتدا حجرے سے باہر کرتے تھے۔ وہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی نماز کے ساتھ نماز پڑھتے۔
5240 umrat hazrat ayesha (rz) se naql farmati hain ke nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) apne hujre mein namaz parhte thay aur log aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki iqtida hujre se bahar karte thay. wo aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki namaz ke sath namaz parhte.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would offer the night prayer in his room. Some of the companions began to pray with him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) shortened the prayer and went inside the house. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out and did this several times, that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would pray and leave. When morning came, the people said to him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! We prayed with you last night, we want you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to lengthen the prayer." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I knew you were sitting, but I deliberately did that."

(٥٢٤١) انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) رات کی نماز اپنے حجرے میں ادا فرماتے۔ صحابہ میں سے کچھ لوگ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنے لگے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے تخفیف کی اور گھر میں داخل ہوگئے۔ پھر نکلے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے کئی مرتبہ ایسے کیا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نماز پڑھتے اور چلے جاتے۔ جب صبح ہوئی تو لوگوں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! ہم نے گزشتہ رات آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ہم چاہتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نماز لمبی کریں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میں تمہارے بیٹھنے کو جان گیا تھا، لیکن جان بوجھ کر میں نے ایسا کیا۔
(5241) Anas bin Malik (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) raat ki namaz apne hujre mein ada farmate. Sahaba mein se kuch log aap (SAW) ke sath namaz parhne lage, aap (SAW) ne takhfeef ki aur ghar mein dakhil hogaye. Phir nikle to aap (SAW) ne kai martaba aise kiya ke aap (SAW) namaz parhte aur chale jate. Jab subah hui to logon ne aap (SAW) se kaha : aye Allah ke Rasul ! hum ne guzishta raat aap (SAW) ke sath namaz parhi hum chahte hain ke aap (SAW) namaz lambi karen. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya : mein tumhare baithne ko jaan gaya tha, lekin jaan bujh kar maine aisa kiya.
Amir bin Dhuayb narrated that Ibn Abbas was asked: “Did you pray behind them in a single circular row?” He said: “Yes, they feared that we might face hardship.”

(٥٢٤٢) عامر بن ذؤیب کہتے ہیں کہ ابن عباس سے کہا گیا : کیا آپ ان کے پیچھے کرہ میں نماز پڑھتے ہیں ؟ فرمایا : جی ہاں وہ ڈرا کرتے تھے کہ کہیں ہم مشقت میں نہ پڑجائیں۔
(5242) Amir bin Zoaib kehte hain ki Ibn Abbas se kaha gaya : kya aap in ke peeche kareh mein namaz parhte hain? Farmaya: ji haan woh dara karte the ki kahin hum mushqat mein na pad jayen.
Dawud bin Husain narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that there is no harm in praying with the Imam on the courtyard and floor of the mosque.

(٥٢٤٣) داؤد بن حصین ابن عباس (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ مسجد کے صحن اور فرش پر امام کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔
Daud bin Husain ibn Abbas (RA) se naqal farmate hain ki masjid ke sahan aur farsh par imam ke sath namaz parhne mein koi harj nahin hai.
(5244) It is narrated by the slave of Ibn Abi Dhuayb's paternal uncle that Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and I used to pray the obligatory prayer with the Imam on the roof of the mosque.

(٥٢٤٤) ابن ابی ذویب توا مۃ کے غلام سے منقول ہے کہ میں اور ابوہریرہ (رض) مسجد کی چھت پر امام کے ساتھ فرض نماز پڑھتے تھے۔
(5244) ibne abi zowaib toma ke ghulam se manqol hai ke main aur abu hurairah (raz) masjid ki chhat par imam ke sath farz namaz parhte thay.
