Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2837
(2837) `Abdul Rahman bin `Abdul Qari (who was appointed by `Umar bin al-Khattab (ra) as an official over the Bayt al-Mal) said: I heard `Umar bin al-Khattab (ra) teaching the people the Tashahhud in prayer while he was on the Minbar of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He said: “O people! When one of you sits in the last Tashahhud of his prayer, or in the middle Tashahhud, let him say: “Bismillah khayril asmaa’…” “With the Name of Allah, the Best of Names - all verbal, physical, and financial worship is for Allah alone.” “O people! ‘I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (ﷺ) is His slave and Messenger.’” “O people! The Tashahhud is before the Salam: ‘O Prophet! Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us, and upon all the righteous slaves of Allah.’ “Do not let any one of you say: ‘As-salamu `ala Jibril…’ ‘Peace be upon Jibril, peace be upon Mikail, peace be upon the angels of Allah…’” “When a person says: ‘As-salamu `alayna wa `ala `ibadillah as-salihin’ then he has sent salutations upon all the righteous slaves of Allah, whether they are in the earth or in the heavens.” “Then after that, let him give the Salam.”

(٢٨٣٧) عبدالرحمن بن عبدالقاری (عمر بن خطاب (رض) کی طرف سے بیت المال پر عامل مقرر تھے) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے عمر بن خطاب (رض) کو سنا، آپ لوگوں کو نماز میں تشہد سکھا رہے تھے اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے منبر پر تشریف فرما تھے۔ آپ فرما رہے تھے : اے لوگو ! جب تم میں سے کوئی اپنی نماز کے آخری تشہد یا درمیانی تشہد میں بیٹھے تو وہ کہے : ” بسم اللہ خیر الاسمآء۔۔۔“ ” اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ جو سب ناموں سے بہترین نام ہے، تمام زبانی، بدنی اور مالی عبادات اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں۔ “ اے لوگو ! ” میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔ “ اے لوگو ! تشہد سلام سے پہلے ہے ۔” اے نبی ! آپ پر سلامتی ہو اور اللہ کی رحمت اور اس کی برکتیں ہوں۔ ہم پر اور تمام اللہ کے نیک بندوں پر بھی سلامتی ہو۔ “ تم میں سے کوئی ” السلام علی جبرائیل ۔۔۔“ ” جبرائیل پر سلام ہو، میکائیل پر سلام ہو، اللہ کے فرشتوں پر سلام ہو “ نہ کہے۔ جب آدمی ” السلام علینا وعلی عباد اللّٰہ الصالحین “ کہتا ہے تو گویا اس نے اللہ کے تمام نیک بندوں پر سلام بھیجا چاہے وہ زمین میں ہوں یا آسمانوں میں ہوں “ پھر اس کے بعد سلام پھیرے۔
2837 abdulrehman bin abdulqari umar bin khattab ki taraf se baitulmal par amil muqarrar thay farmate hain ke maine umar bin khattab ko suna aap logon ko namaz mein tashahhud sikha rahay thay aur rasool allah ke mimbar par tashreef farma thay aap farma rahay thay aye logo jab tum mein se koi apni namaz ke aakhri tashahhud ya darmiyani tashahhud mein baithe to woh kahay bismillah khairul asma allah ke naam ke sath jo sab namon se behtarin naam hai tamam zabani badani aur mali ibadat allah hi ke liye hain aye logo main gawahi deta hun ke allah ke siwa koi mabud nahin aur main gawahi deta hun ke muhammad uske bande aur rasool hain aye logo tashahhud salam se pehle hai aye nabi aap par salamti ho aur allah ki rehmat aur uski barkaten hon hum par aur tamam allah ke nek bandon par bhi salamti ho tum mein se koi assalam o alaa jibraeel jibraeel par salam ho mikhail par salam ho allah ke farishton par salam ho na kahay jab admi assalam o alaina wa alaa ibadillahis saliheen kehta hai to goya usne allah ke tamam nek bandon par salam bheja chahay woh zameen mein hon ya aasmanon mein hon phir uske baad salam phire
(2838) (a) It is narrated from 'Abdul Rahman bin 'Abdul Qari that he heard 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) saying on the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), while he was teaching the people the Tashahhud: Say, "All compliments, all physical, verbal and financial worship are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and Allah's mercy and blessings. Peace be upon us and upon all the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is His servant and Messenger."
This is the wording of Ibn Wahb's narration.
(b) And in the narration of Imam Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him), it is stated that he heard 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) teaching the people the Tashahhud on top of the pulpit, and he said: "All good pronouncements, all worship are for Allah…" The rest is the same.

(٢٨٣٨) (ا) عبدالرحمن بن عبدالقاری سے منقول ہے کہ انھوں نے منبر رسول پر سیدنا عمر بن خطاب (رض) کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا، آپ لوگوں کو تشہد سکھا رہے تھے، آپ فرما رہے تھے : کہو ” التحیات للہ الزاکیات۔۔۔ ” تمام زبانی، مالی اور بدنی عبادتیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں۔ اے نبی ! آپ پر سلامتی ہو اور اللہ کی رحمت و برکات ہوں، ہم پر اور اللہ کے تمام نیک بندوں پر سلامتی ہو، میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں۔ “
یہ ابن وہب کی حدیث کے الفاظ ہیں۔
(ب) اور امام شافعی (رح) کی روایت میں ہے کہ انھوں نے عمر بن خطاب (رض) کو منبر کے اوپر لوگوں کو تشہد سکھاتے ہوئے سنا آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : ” الطیبات الصلوات للّٰہ۔۔۔“ باقی اسی طرح ہے۔
2838 a Abdurrahman bin Abdil Qari se manqol hai ki unhon ne mimbar Rasool par Sayyidna Umar bin Khattab (raz) ko farmate hue suna aap logon ko tashahhud sikha rahe the aap farma rahe the kaho al-tahiyyatu lillahi az-zakiyat tamam zabani mali aur badani ibadaten Allah hi ke liye hain aye Nabi aap par salamti ho aur Allah ki rehmat o barkat hon hum par aur Allah ke tamam nek bandon par salamti ho main gawahi deta hon ki Allah ke siwa koi mabood nahin aur main gawahi deta hon ki Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Allah ke bande aur uske rasool hain
ye Ibn Wahab ki hadees ke alfaz hain
b aur Imam Shafi (rah) ki riwayat mein hai ki unhon ne Umar bin Khattab (raz) ko mimbar ke upar logon ko tashahhud sikhate hue suna aap (raz) ne farmaya at-tayyibatu as-salawatu lillah baqi isi tarah hai
(2839) (a) Abdur Rahman bin Abdal Qari states that I was in the presence of Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was teaching the Tashahhud to the people on the pulpit of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said: "All verbal, physical, and financial worship is for Allah. Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you, O Prophet. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the servant of Allah and His Messenger."
(b) It is narrated from Zuhri that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was teaching the Tashahhud to the people on the pulpit of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and a large number of the Companions were present, but none of them objected to anything he said.
(c) Imam Bayhaqi states that in one of the two narrations from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the words of Shahada (testimony of faith) precede the Salam (greetings of peace).

(٢٨٣٩) (ا) عبدالرحمن بن عبدالقاری فرماتے ہیں کہ میں سیدنا عمر بن خطاب (رض) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، آپ منبر رسول پر لوگوں کو تشہد سکھا رہے تھے۔ آپ نے فرمایا : التحیات ۔۔۔ ” تمام قولی ، فعلی اور مالی عبادات اللہ کے لیے ہیں، اے نبی ! آپ پر سلامتی ہو اور اللہ کی رحمت اور برکتیں نازل ہوں سلام ہو ہم پر اور اللہ کے نیک بندوں پر۔ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں۔ “
(ب) زہری سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت عمر (رض) منبر رسول پر لوگوں کو تشہد سکھلا رہے تھے اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ بڑی تعداد میں موجود تھے، لیکن صحابہ آپ (رض) کی کسی بات کا انکار نہیں کر رہے تھے۔
(ج) امام بیہقی فرماتے ہیں کہ سیدہ عائشہ (رض) سے منقول دو روایتوں میں سے ایک میں شہادت کے کلمات، سلام سے مقدم ہیں۔
(2839) (a) abdulrehman bin abdulqari farmate hain ki main sayyidna umar bin khattab (raz) ki khidmat mein hazir hua, aap mimbar rasool par logon ko tashahhud sikha rahe the. aap ne farmaya : altahiyat --- " tamam qauli , faili aur mali ibadat allah ke liye hain, aye nabi ! aap par salamti ho aur allah ki rehmat aur barkaten nazil hon salam ho hum par aur allah ke nek bandon par. main gawahi deta hun ki allah ke siwa koi mabood nahin aur main gawahi deta hun ki mohammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) allah ke bande aur uske rasool hain. "
(b) zahri se riwayat hai ki hazrat umar (raz) mimbar rasool par logon ko tashahhud sikhla rahe the aur rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sahaba badi tadad mein maujood the, lekin sahaba aap (raz) ki kisi baat ka inkar nahin kar rahe the.
(c) imam baihaqi farmate hain ki sayyida ayesha (raz) se manqool do riwayaton mein se ek mein shahadat ke kalmat, salam se muqaddam hain.
(2840) It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when she would sit for the Tashahhud, she would say: “Attahiyyatu… All verbal, financial and physical worship and glorifications are for Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, He is One and Only, He has no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the servant of Allah and His Messenger. O Prophet! Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. Peace be upon you. "

(٢٨٤٠) زوجہ رسول ام المومنین سیدہ عائشہ (رض) سے منقول ہے کہ آپ جب تشہد میں بیٹھتی تھیں تو یہ پڑھتی تھیں : ” التحیات۔۔۔“ ” تمام قولی، مالی اور بدنی عبادات اور تسبیحات اللہ کے لیے ہیں، میں گواہی دیتی ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتی ہوں کہ محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں۔ اے نبی ! آپ پر سلام ہو اور اس کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکتیں ہوں، سلامتی ہو ہم پر اور اللہ کے نیک بندوں پر سلام ہو تم پر۔ “
2840 Zojain Rasool Ummulmomineen Sayyidah Ayesha (RA) se manqol hai ki aap jab tashahhud mein bethti thin to ye parhti thin: "Attahiyat..." "Tamam qauli, mali aur badani ibadat aur tasbihat Allah ke liye hain, mein gawahi deti hun ki Allah ke siwa koi mabood nahin, woh akela hai uska koi sharik nahin aur mein gawahi deti hun ki Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Allah ke bande aur uske rasool hain. Aye Nabi! Aap par salam ho aur uski rehmat ho aur uski barkaten hon, salamati ho hum par aur Allah ke naik bandon par salam ho tum par."
(2841) This hadith is also narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) in another chain of narration, but in that narration, the phrase "Wahdah la Sharika lah" (The One without any partner) is not mentioned.
And the narration of saying the words of Salam (greetings) first has already passed.

(٢٨٤١) ایک اور سند سے یہ حدیث سیدہ عائشہ (رض) سے منقول ہے مگر اس میں ” وحدہ لا شریک لہ “ کا ذکر نہیں ہے۔
اور سیدہ عائشہ (رض) سے سلام کے کلمات کو مقدم کرنے کی روایت گزر چکی ہے۔
(2841) aik aur sanat se ye hadees sayyida ayesha (raz) se manqol hai magar is mein "wahdah la shareek lah" ka zikar nahin hai
aur sayyida ayesha (raz) se salam ke kalmat ko muqaddam karne ki riwayat guzar chuki hai
Yahya bin Saeed narrated that I heard from Qasim bin Muhammad that Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to teach us the Tashahhud. She would gesture with her hand and say: “Attahiyyatu… ‘All verbal, financial, and physical acts of worship and all praises are for Allah. Peace and blessings of Allah be upon Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). May Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon us, and peace be upon us and upon all the righteous servants of Allah.’ I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is His servant and Messenger.” Then she would say: “After this, pray for yourselves.”

(٢٨٤٢) یحییٰ بن سعید فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے قاسم بن محمد سے سنا کہ سیدہ عائشہ (رض) ہمیں تشہد سکھایا کرتی تھیں اور اپنے ہاتھ سے اشارہ کرتے ہوئے کہتی تھیں : التحیات۔۔۔ ” تمام قولی، مالی، فعلی عبادات اور تسبیحات اللہ کے لیے ہیں، نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر سلامتی ہو اور اللہ کی رحمت اور اس کی برکتیں ہوں، ہم پر بھی سلامتی ہو اور اللہ کے تمام صالح بندوں پر بھی سلامتی ہو۔ میں گواہی دیتی ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتی ہوں کہ محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔ “ پھر فرماتی : اس کے بعد اپنے لیے دعا مانگو۔
(2842) Yahya bin Saeed farmate hain ke maine Qasim bin Muhammad se suna ke Sayyida Ayesha (raz) humain tashahhud sikhaya karti thin aur apne hath se ishara karte hue kahti thin: Al-tahiyat... "Tamam qauli, mali, feli ibadat aur tasbihat Allah ke liye hain, Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) par salamti ho aur Allah ki rehmat aur uski barkaten hon, hum par bhi salamti ho aur Allah ke tamam saleh bandon par bhi salamti ho. Main gawahi deti hun ke Allah ke siwa koi mabood nahin aur main gawahi deti hun ke Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) uske bande aur rasool hain." Phir farmai: Iske baad apne liye dua maango.
Qasim narrates that Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: “This is the tashahhud of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): ‘All verbal, physical, and financial worships are rightfully for Allah. O Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Peace be upon us and upon all the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is His servant and Messenger.’ Muhammad said: ‘I said: “Bismillah?”’ So Qasim said that Bismillah is said at all times.”

(٢٨٤٣) قاسم فرماتے ہیں کہ سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ یہ ہے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا تشہد : التحیات۔۔۔ تمام زبانی ، بدنی اور مالی عبادات سب کی سب کا سزاوار اللہ ہے، اے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! آپ پر سلامتی ہو اور اللہ کی رحمت اور اس کی برکتیں ہوں ۔ ہم پر سلامتی ہو اور اللہ کے تمام نیک بندوں پر سلامتی ہو۔ میں گواہی دیتی ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتی ہوں کہ محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں۔ محمد کہتے ہیں : میں نے کہا ” بسم اللہ ؟ “ تو قاسم نے کہا کہ بسم اللہ تو ہر وقت ہوتی ہے۔
2843 Qasim farmate hain keh Sayyida Ayesha (RA) farmati hain keh yeh hai Nabi (SAW) ka tashahhud: Al-tahiyat... tamam zabani, badani aur mali ibadat sab ki sab ka sazawar Allah hai, aye Nabi (SAW)! Aap per salamti ho aur Allah ki rehmat aur us ki barkaten hon. Hum per salamti ho aur Allah ke tamam nek bandon per salamti ho. Main gawahi deti hun keh Allah ke siwa koi mabood nahin aur main gawahi deti hun keh Muhammad (SAW) Allah ke bande aur us ke rasool hain. Muhammad kehte hain: Main ne kaha "Bismillah?" to Qasim ne kaha keh Bismillah to har waqt hoti hai.
