Chapter: It is recommended to send the sacrificial animal to the Haram for one who does not intend to go there himself; It is reommended to garland it and to make the garland, but the one who sends it does not enter a state of Ihram, and nothing is forbid
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) reported that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sent the sacrificial animals from Madina. I wove garlands for his sacrificial animals (and then he hung them round their necks), and he would not avoid doing anything which the Muhrim avoids.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مدینہ سے ہدی روانہ فرماتے، اور میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ہدی کے قلادے (ہار) بٹتی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان چیزوں سے پرہیز نہیں کرتے تھے، جن سے محرم بچتا ہے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) bayan karti hain ki Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Madina se Hadyi rawana farmate, aur mein Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki Hadyi ke qilade (haar) batti, phir Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) un cheezon se parhez nahi karte the, jin se Muhram bachata hai.
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated in another Hadith through another chain of transmitters and the words are ‘ she said, ‘as if I am seeing myself weaving the garlands for the sacrificial animals of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).’
ام المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے ایک دوسری سند کے ساتھ روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: گویا میں اپنے آپ کو دیکھ رہی ہوں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی قربانی کے جانوروں کے لیے ہار بُن رہی ہوں۔
Umm-ul-Momineen Hazrat Aisha (radiyallahu ta'ala anha) se ek doosri sanad ke saath riwayat hai ke unhon ne farmaya: Goya mein apne aap ko dekh rahi hoon ke mein Rasul Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa aalihi wasallam) ki qurbani ke janwaron ke liye haar bun rahi hoon.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ح. وَحَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَخَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالُوا أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ، بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَىَّ أَفْتِلُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِنَحْوِهِ .
Sahih Muslim 1321d
Abdur Rahman bin al-Qasim reported on the authority of his father that he heard Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) saying, ‘I used to weave garlands for the sacrificial animals of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) with these hands of mine, but he neither avoided anything nor gave up anything (which a Muhrim should avoid or give up).
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی قربانیوں کے ہار اپنے ان دونوں ہاتھوں سے بٹتی تھی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نہ کسی چیز سے الگ ہوتے، اور نہ ہی کسی چیز کو چھوڑتے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) bayan karti hain ki mein Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki qurbaniyon ke haar apne un dono hathon se batti thi, phir Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) na kisi cheez se alag hote, aur na hi kisi cheez ko chhodte.
وَحَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ، تَقُولُ كُنْتُ أَفْتِلُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدَىَّ هَاتَيْنِ ثُمَّ لاَ يَعْتَزِلُ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَتْرُكُهُ.
Sahih Muslim 1321e
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated she wove the garlands for the sacrificial animals of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) with her own bands, and then the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) marked them, and garlanded them, and then sent them to the House, and stayed at Madina and nothing was forbidden to him which was lawful for him (before).
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی قربانیوں کے گلے کے ہار اپنے ہاتھوں سے بنائے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کا اشعار کیا، اور گلے میں ہار ڈالا، پھر انہیں بیت اللہ روانہ کر دیا اور خود مدینہ میں رہے، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر ان چیزوں میں سے کوئی چیز حرام نہیں ہوئی، جو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے (پہلے) حلال تھی۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) bayan karti hain, mein ne Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki qurbaniyon ke gale ke haar apne hathon se banaye, phir Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un ka isha'ar kiya, aur gale mein haar dala, phir unhein Baitullah rawana kar diya aur khud Madina mein rahe, aur Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par un cheezon mein se koi cheez haram nahi hui, jo Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke liye (pehle) halal thi.
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sent the sacrificial animals, and I wove garlands for them with my own hands, and he did not refrain from doing anything which he did not avoid in the state of non-Muhrim.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہدی روانہ فرماتے، میں اس کے ہار اپنے ہاتھ سے بٹتی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کسی ایسی چیز سے نہ رُکتے، جس سے حلال نہیں رُکتا ہے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) bayan karti hain ki Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Hadyi rawana farmate, mein us ke haar apne haath se batti, phir Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) kisi aisi cheez se na rukte, jis se halal nahi rukta hai.
Al-Qasim reported Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) as saying, ‘I used to weave these garlands from the multi-colored wool which was with us. The Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was in the state of non Muhrim among us, and he would do all that was lawful for a non-Muhrim with his wife.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں، میں نے وہ ہار اس اون سے بٹے تھے جو ہمارے پاس تھی، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے پاس حلال ہی رہے، حلال جس طرح اپنی بیوی کے پاس آتا ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی آتے، یا جس طرح مرد اپنی بیوی سے فائدہ اٹھاتا ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی اٹھاتے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) bayan karti hain, mein ne wo haar us oon se batte the jo hamare paas thi, to Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hamare paas halal hi rahe, halal jis tarah apni biwi ke paas aata hai, Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) bhi aate, ya jis tarah mard apni biwi se fayda uthata hai, Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) bhi uthate.
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated ‘I recall how I wove garlands for the sacrificial animals (the goats) of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). He sent them and then stayed with us as a non-Muhrim.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ میں نے اپنے آپ کو پایا کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بکریوں کی قربانی کے ہار بٹتی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اسے بھیج دیتے، پھر ہمارے ہاں حلال ہی رہتے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) bayan karti hain ki mein ne apne aap ko paya ki mein Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki bakriyon ki qurbani ke haar batti, Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) use bhej dete, phir hamare haan halal hi rehte.
وَحَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي أَفْتِلُ الْقَلاَئِدَ لِهَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنَ الْغَنَمِ فَيَبْعَثُ بِهِ ثُمَّ يُقِيمُ فِينَا حَلاَلاً .
Sahih Muslim 1321i
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated, ‘I often wove garlands for the sacrificial animals of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and he garlanded his sacrificial animals, and then he sent them and stayed in the house) avoiding nothing which a Muhrim avoids.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں، بسا اوقات میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی قربانیوں کے ہار بنائے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہار قربانی کے گلے میں ڈال کر اسے روانہ کر دیتے، اور خود ٹھہرے رہتے، کسی ایسی چیز سے پرہیز نہ کرتے، جس سے محرم پرہیز کرتا ہے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) bayan karti hain, basa auqat mein ne Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki qurbaniyon ke haar banaye, Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) haar qurbani ke gale mein daal kar use rawana kar dete, aur khud thehre rehte, kisi aisi cheez se parhez na karte, jis se Muhram parhez karta hai.
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated, Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sent some goats as sacrificial animals to the House and He garlanded them.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں، ایک دفعہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیت اللہ کی قربانی کے لیے بکریوں کو بھیجا اور ان کے گلوں میں ہار ڈالے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) bayan karti hain, ek dafa Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Baitullah ki qurbani ke liye bakriyon ko bheja aur un ke gulon mein haar dale.
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ أَهْدَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَرَّةً إِلَى الْبَيْتِ غَنَمًا فَقَلَّدَهَا .
Sahih Muslim 1321k
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہا) narrated, we used to garland the goats and send them (to Makka), and Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stayed back in Madina as a non-Muhrim ard nothing was forbidden for him (which is forbidden for a Muhrim).
حضرت عائشہ ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں کہ ہم بکریوں کے گلے میں ہار ڈال کر انہیں بھیج دیتے، اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حلال ہی ہوتے ان سے آپ پر کوئی چیز حرام نہ ہوتی۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) bayan karti hain ki hum bakriyon ke gale mein haar daal kar unhein bhej dete, aur Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) halal hi hote un se Aap par koi cheez haram na hoti.
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُحَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنَّا نُقَلِّدُ الشَّاءَ فَنُرْسِلُ بِهَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَلاَلٌ لَمْ يَحْرُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ شَىْءٌ .

Amra daughter of Abdur Rahman reported that Ibn Ziyad had written to Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) that Abdullah bin Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) had said that he who sent a sacrificial animal (to Makka) for him was forbidden what is forbidden for a pilgrim (in the state of Ihram) until the animal is sacrificed I have myself sent my sacrificial animal (to Makka), so write to me your opinion. Amra reported Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) as saying, it is not as Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) had asserted, for I wove the garlands for the sacrificial animals of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) with my own hands. Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) then garlanded them with his own hands, and then sent them with my father, and nothing was forbidden for Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) which had been made lawful for him by Allah until the animals were sacrificed.
عمرہ بنت عبدالرحمٰن بیان کرتی ہیں، ابن زیاد نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کو خط لکھا کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں، جو شخص قربانی روانہ کرتا ہے، اس پر وہ تمام چیزیں حرام ہو جائیں گیں جو حج کرنے والے پر حرام ہوتی ہیں، حتی کہ قربانی نحر کر دی جائے، اور میں اپنی ہدی روانہ کر چکا ہوں، آپ مجھے اپنا نظریہ لکھ بھیجیں، عمرہ بیان کرتی ہیں، حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے بتایا، بات وہ نہیں ہے جو ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کہتے ہیں، میں نے خود رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی قربانیوں کے ہار اپنے ہاتھوں سے بٹے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں اپنے ہاتھ سے قربانیوں کے گلے میں ڈالا، اور میرے باپ کے ہاتھ انہیں روانہ کر دیا، اور قربانیوں کے نحر کرنے تک رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر کوئی ایسی چیز حرام نہیں ہوئی، جو اللہ نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے حلال کی تھی۔
Umrah bint Abdul Rahman bayan karti hain, Ibn Ziyad ne Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) ko khat likha ki Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (Radiallahu Anhuma) farmate hain, jo shakhs qurbani rawana karta hai, us par wo tamam cheezen haram ho jayen gi jo Hajj karne wale par haram hoti hain, hatta ki qurbani nahr kar di jaye, aur mein apni Hadyi rawana kar chuka hoon, aap mujhe apna nazariya likh bhejain, Umrah bayan karti hain, Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) ne bataya, baat wo nahi hai jo Ibn Abbas (Radiallahu Anhuma) kehte hain, mein ne khud Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki qurbaniyon ke haar apne hathon se batte, phir Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne unhein apne haath se qurbaniyon ke gale mein dala, aur mere baap ke haath unhein rawana kar diya, aur qurbaniyon ke nahr karne tak Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par koi aisi cheez haram nahi hui, jo Allah ne Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke liye halal ki thi.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ ابْنَ زِيَادٍ كَتَبَ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ مَنْ أَهْدَى هَدْيًا حَرُمَ عَلَيْهِ مَا يَحْرُمُ عَلَى الْحَاجِّ حَتَّى يُنْحَرَ الْهَدْىُ وَقَدْ بَعَثْتُ بِهَدْيِي فَاكْتُبِي إِلَىَّ بِأَمْرِكِ . قَالَتْ عَمْرَةُ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ لَيْسَ كَمَا قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَا فَتَلْتُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدَىَّ ثُمَّ قَلَّدَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ بَعَثَ بِهَا مَعَ أَبِي فَلَمْ يَحْرُمْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَىْءٌ أَحَلَّهُ اللَّهُ لَهُ حَتَّى نُحِرَ الْهَدْىُ .
Sahih Muslim 1321m
Masruq reported that he heard Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) clapping her hands behind the curtain and saying, I used to weave garlands for the sacrificial animals of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) with my own hands, and then he sent them (to Makka), and he did not avoid doing anything which a Muhritn avoids until his animal was sacrificed.
مسروق رحمۃ اللہ علیہ بیان کرتے ہیں، میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے سنا، انہوں نے پردہ کی اوٹ سے تالی بجا کر بتایا کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی قربانیوں کے ہار اپنے ہاتھوں سے بناتی تھی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم انہیں روانہ کر دیتے، اور کسی ایسی چیز سے، قربانی نحر کرنے تک باز نہ رہتے، جس سے محرم باز رہتا ہے۔
Masrooq (Rahmatullah Alaih) bayan karte hain, mein ne Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) se suna, unho ne parda ki oat se tali baja kar bataya ki mein Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki qurbaniyon ke haar apne hathon se banati thi, phir Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) unhein rawana kar dete, aur kisi aisi cheez se, qurbani nahr karne tak baaz na rehte, jis se Muhram baaz rehta hai.
