باب مَنْ أَحَقُّ بِالإِمَامَةِ
Sahih Muslim 672a
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘when there are three persons, one of them should lead them. The one among them most worthy to act as Imam is one who is best versed in the Qur'an.
حضرت ابو سعید خدری ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تین نمازی ہوں تو ان میں سے ایک امام بنے اور ان میں امامت کا حقدار وہ ہے جو قرآن مجید کی خوب تلاوت کرتا ہے۔“
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (Radiyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne farmaya: 'Jab teen namazi hon toh un mein se ek imam bane aur un mein imamat ka haqqdar woh hai jo Quran Majeed ki khoob tilawat karta hai.'
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا كَانُوا ثَلاَثَةً فَلْيَؤُمَّهُمْ أَحَدُهُمْ وَأَحَقُّهُمْ بِالإِمَامَةِ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ " .
