It is narrated on the authority of Ubayd bin Rifa'ah Zarqi that Asma' (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "O Messenger of Allah, Ja'far's children are quickly affected by the evil eye. Should I not recite some incantations and put amulets on them?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes, and if anything were to supersede the Divine Decree, it would be the evil eye."
حضرت عبید بن رفاعہ زرقی سے روایت ہے۔ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت اسماء نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے عرض کیا۔ جعفر کے بچوں کو نظر بہت جلد لگ جاتی ہے۔ تو کیا میں ان کو نظر کا دم، تعویذ کر وا لیا کروں ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” ہاں اور اگر کوئی چیز تقدیر پر سبقت پاتی تو نظر ہی تقدپر پر سبقت پاتی۔ “
Hazrat Obaid bin Rafi Zarqi se riwayat hai. Kehte hain ke Hazrat Asma ne Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se arz kiya. Jaffar ke bacchon ko nazar bohat jald lag jati hai. To kya main un ko nazar ka dum, taweez karwa liya karun? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: " Haan aur agar koi cheez taqdeer par sabaqat pati to nazar hi taqdeer par sabaqat pati."
Hazrat Urwa bin Zubair narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered the house of Umm Salamah. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a child in the house who was unwell. So he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked the people of the house about him? People said that we think that he has been affected by the evil eye. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Why didn't you blow on him with the recitation of the evil eye?"
حضرت عروہ بن زبیر بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ، حضرت ام سلمہ کے گھر میں داخل ہوئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے گھر میں ایک بچہ کو دیکھا جس کو تکلیف تھی ؟ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے گھر والوں سے اس کے بارے میں پوچھا ؟ لوگوں نے بتایا کہ ہمارے خیال میں اس کو نظر لگ گئی ہے، اس پر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” تم نے اس کو نظر کا دم کیوں نہیں کروایا ؟ “۔
Hazrat Urwa bin Zubair bayan karte hain ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), Hazrat Umm Salma ke ghar mein dakhil huye to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ghar mein ek bachcha ko dekha jisko takleef thi? To aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ghar walon se iske bare mein poocha? Logon ne bataya ke hamare khayal mein isko nazar lag gayi hai, is par Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Tum ne isko nazar ka dum kyun nahi karwaya?".
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Babah, the freed slave of Jabir bin 'Abdullah, that Asma' bint 'Umais said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Al-Hasan and Al-Husain get affected by the evil eye very quickly, should I get them Ruqay (seeking refuge with Allah)?' He (ﷺ) said: 'Yes.' And if I were to say that anything could overtake the Divine Decree, I would say that the evil eye could."
حضرت جبیر بن مطعم کے آزاد کردہ غلام ، عبداللہ بن بابیہ سے روایت ہے کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت اسماء بنت عمیس بتاتی ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کیا۔ اے رسول خدا (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! جعفر کے بچوں کو نظر بہت جلدی لگ جاتی ہے تو کیا میں ان کو دم کروا لوں ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” ہاں “ اور اگر مں کہتا کہ کوئی چیز تقدیر پر بھی سبقت پاسکتی ہے تو میں کہتا کہ نظر ، تقدیر پر سبقت پاسکتی ہے۔ “
Hazrat Jubair bin Mut'im ke azad kardah gulam, Abdullah bin Babiya se riwayat hai kehte hain ke Hazrat Asma bint Umays batati hain ke maine arz kiya. Aye Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Ja'far ke bachchon ko nazar bahut jaldi lag jati hai to kya main un ko dum karwa loon? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: " Haan " aur agar main kehta ke koi cheez taqdeer par bhi subqat paasakti hai to main kehta ke nazar, taqdeer par subqat paasakti hai.
Narrated Abdullah bin Amr bin al-'As: He (the narrator) said: Sahl bin Hunaif and I went out in search of some cover (for taking bath). We found some cover or a well, and each of us felt shy of taking a bath and being seen by the other. He, therefore, screened me till, when he saw that I had finished my bath, he took off the wrapper he was wearing. Then he entered the water, and I looked at him and admired his physique, which gave him the appearance of a wealthy person. He began to shiver in the water. I called him but he did not respond, so I went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and told him the story. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Get up." Then he (ﷺ) came to (Sahl) and lifted his lower garment with his blessed shank, and he (ﷺ) entered the water towards him. When he (ﷺ) reached him, he (ﷺ) struck him on his chest, and then said, "O Allah, remove from him the coldness, the heat, and the pain." Then he (ﷺ) said, "Get up." So he stood up. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When one of you sees something in himself, or in his wealth, or in his brother, which he admires, he should invoke a blessing for it, for the evil eye is real."
حضرت عبداللہ بن عامر بن ربیعہ، اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں اور سہل بن حنیف چلے اور ہم کسی اوٹ کی تلاش میں تھے۔ چنانچہ ہم نے کوئی اوٹ یا کنواں پایا اور ہم میں سے ہر ایک اس بات سے شرماتا تھا کہ وہ غسل کرے اور اسے کوئی دیکھے۔ چنانچہ انھوں نے میرے آگے پردہ کیا یہاں تک کہ جب انھوں نے یہ دیکھا کہ میں غسل کرچکا ہوں تو انھوں نے وہ چادر کا جبہ اتار دیا جو انھوں نے پہنا ہوا تھا۔ اور پھر وہ پانی میں داخل ہوگئے۔ پس میں نے ان کی طرف دیکھا تو مجھے ان کی ساخت بہت خوبصورت لگی جس کی وجہ سے انہں امیری نظر لگ گئی۔ پس انھوں نے پانی میں ہی خوب کپکپانا شروع کیا۔ میں نے انھیں بلایا لیکن انھوں نے مجھے کوئی جواب نہ دیا۔ چنانچہ میں نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی طرف چلا گیا اور میں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو ساری بات بتائی۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” اٹھو “۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان (سہل) کے پاس تشریف لائے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی پنڈلی مبارک سے (کپڑا) اٹھایا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان کی طرف پانی میں داخل ہوگئے۔ پس جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان کے پاس پہنچے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کے سینہ پر مارا اور پھر فرمایا : ” اے اللہ ! اس کی سردی، گرمی اور درد کو دور کر دے۔ “ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” اٹھ کھڑا ہو “ چنانچہ وہ کھڑے ہوگئے، اس پر سول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” جب تم میں سے کوئی اپنے آپ یا اپنے مال یا اپنے بھائی سے کوئی ایسی چیز دیکھے جو اس کو بہت پیاری لگے تو اسے برکت کی دعا کرنی چاہیے کیونکہ نظر برحق ہے۔ “
Hazrat Abdullah bin Aamir bin Rabia apne walid se riwayat karte hain. Wo kahte hain ki main aur Sahl bin Hanif chale aur hum kisi ot ki talaash mein the. Chunancha humne koi ot ya kuwan paya aur hum mein se har ek is baat se sharmata tha ki wo ghusl kare aur use koi dekhe. Chunancha unhon ne mere aage parda kiya yahan tak ki jab unhon ne ye dekha ki main ghusl kar chuka hun to unhon ne wo chadar ka jabba utar diya jo unhon ne pahna hua tha. Aur phir wo pani mein daakhil hogaye. Pas main ne unki taraf dekha to mujhe unki saakht bahut khoobsurat lagi jiski wajah se unhen amiri nazar aayi. Pas unhon ne pani mein hi khoob kapkapana shuru kiya. Maine unhen bulaya lekin unhon ne mujhe koi jawab na diya. Chunancha main Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki taraf chala gaya aur main ne aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko sari baat batai. Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Utho”. Phir aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) un (Sahl) ke paas tashreef laaye aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apni pindli mubarak se (kapda) uthaya aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) unki taraf pani mein daakhil hogaye. Pas jab aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) unke paas pahunche to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne unke seena par mara aur phir farmaya: “Aye Allah! Iski sardi, garmi aur dard ko door kar de”. Phir aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Uth khada ho”. Chunancha wo khade hogaye, is par Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: “Jab tum mein se koi apne aap ya apne maal ya apne bhai se koi aisi cheez dekhe jo usko bahut pyari lage to use barkat ki dua karni chahie kyunki nazar barhaq hai”.
Hazrat Abu Umama bin Sahl bin Hunaif narrates from his father that Hazrat Amir passed by Sahl while Sahl was taking a bath. Hazrat Amir said, "I have never seen anyone like (someone who shows off) today, nor have I seen such white skin." So (meanwhile) Hazrat Sahl fell to the ground. To the extent that he could not understand anything due to the severity of the pain. So when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was informed about this, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called Hazrat Amir and expressed his anger upon him and said, "You have killed him. On what basis does any of you kill his brother? Why did you not pray for blessings for him?" Then you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered them (Amir), "Give him a bath." So they gave him a bath and he went with the caravan. Hazrat Zahri says, "The matter of knowledge is that the one who has cast an evil eye should perform the ablution." He says that a bowl of water should be brought and then he should wash it in this bowl. Then pour water on his right hand with his left hand, then pour water on his left hand with his right hand, then put his left hand and pour water on his right elbow and put his right hand and pour water on his left elbow, then wash his right foot, then wash his right hand, then wash his left foot, then put his right hand and wash both knees. And take hold of his lower garment and pour this water over his head only once. Keep pouring until the bowl is empty.
حضرت ابو امامہ بن سہل بن حنیف، اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت عامر ، سہل کے پاس سے گذرے جبکہ سہل غسل کر رہے تھے۔ حضرت عامر نے کہا۔ میں نے آج کے دن (دکھائی دینے والے شخص کی طرح کبھی نہیں دیکھا اور نہ ہی اس قدر سفید چمڑی دیکھی۔ پس (اتنے میں) حضرت سہل زمین پر گرگئے۔ یہاں تک کہ بوجہ شدت تکلیف کے انھیں کچھ سمجھ نہیں آ رہا تھا۔ چنانچہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اس بات کی اطلاع کی گئی تو نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے حضرت عامر کو بلایا اور ان پر غصہ کا اظہار کیا اور فرمایا : ” تم نے اس کو قتل کردیا ہے۔ تم میں سے کوئی اپنے بھائی کو کس بنیاد پر قتل کرتا ہے ؟ تم نے اس کے لیے دعائے برکت کیوں نہیں کی ؟ “ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان (عامر ) کو حکم دیا اور فرمایا۔ ” اس کو غسل دو “ چنانچہ انھوں نے غسل کیا اور قافلہ کے ہمراہ چلے گئے۔ حضرت زہری فرماتے ہیں۔ علم کی بات یہ ہے کہ غسل وہ شخص کرتا ہے جس نے نظر لگائی ہے۔ فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک پیالہ میں پانی لایا جائے اور پھر یہ اس پیالہ میں دھوئے۔ پھر اپنے بائیں ہاتھ سے اپنے دائیں ہاتھ پر پانی ڈالے پھر دائیں ہاتھ سے بائیں ہاتھ پر پانی ڈالے اور پھر اپنا بایاں ہاتھ ڈالے اور اپنی دائیں کہنی پر پانی ڈالے اور دایاں ہاتھ ڈالے اور اپنی بائیں کہنی پر پانی ڈالے پھر اپنا دایاں قدم دھوئے پھر اپنا دایاں ہاتھ دھوئے پھر اپنا بایاں قدم دھوئے۔ پھر دایاں ہاتھ ڈالے اور دونوں گھٹنے دھوئے۔ اور اس کے ازار کو پکڑ لے اور اس کے سر پر ایک ہی مرتبہ یہ پانی انڈیل دے۔ پیالے کو خالی ہونے تک انڈیلے رکھے۔
Hazrat Abu Umama bin Sahl bin Haneef apne walid se riwayat karte hain ki Hazrat Aamir Sahl ke paas se guzre jabke Sahl gusl kar rahe the Hazrat Aamir ne kaha main ne aaj ke din dikhayi dene wale shakhs ki tarah kabhi nahi dekha aur na hi is qadar safaid chamari dekhi pas itne mein Hazrat Sahl zameen par gir gaye yahan tak ki baja shiddat takleef ke unhen kuchh samajh nahi aa raha tha chunancha Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko is baat ki ittila ki gayi to Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Hazrat Aamir ko bulaya aur un par ghusse ka izhaar kiya aur farmaya tumne isko qatl kar diya tum mein se koi apne bhai ko kis bunyad par qatl karta hai tumne iske liye dua e barkat kyon nahi ki phir Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne un Aamir ko hukm diya aur farmaya isko gusl do chunancha unhon ne gusl kiya aur qafila ke hamrah chale gaye Hazrat Zahri farmate hain ilm ki baat yeh hai ki gusl woh shakhs karta hai jisne nazar lagayi hai farmate hain ki ek pyale mein pani laya jaye aur phir yeh is pyale mein dhoye phir apne bayen haath se apne dayen haath par pani dale phir dayen haath se bayen haath par pani dale aur phir apna bayan haath dale aur apni dayen kahni par pani dale aur dayan haath dale aur apni bayen kahni par pani dale phir apna dayan qadam dhoye phir apna dayan haath dhoye phir apna bayan qadam dhoye phir dayan haath dale aur dono ghutne dhoye aur iske izaar ko pakad le aur iske sar par ek hi martaba yeh pani undel de pyale ko khali hone tak undele rakhe
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ayesha that she used to order that the person who casts an evil eye should perform ablution and then the affected person should be given a bath with the water left over from his ablution.
حضرت عائشہ کے بارے میں روایت ہے کہ وہ نظر لگانے والے کو حکم دیتی تھیں کہ وہ وضو کرے اور پھر جس کو نظر لگی ہے اس کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے اسے غسل دیا جائے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ke baare mein riwayat hai ki woh nazar lagane wale ko hukm deti thin ki woh wuzu kare aur phir jis ko nazar lagi hai us ke bache huye pani se use gusl diya jaye.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The evil eye is real and when someone is told to perform ghusl (ritual bath) because of it, then he should perform ghusl."
حضرت ابن عباس سے روایت ہے۔ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” نظر برحق ہے اور جب کسی کو نظر کی وجہ سے غسل کرنے کا کہا جائے تو اس کو غسل کرنا چاہیے۔ “
Hazrat Ibn Abbas se riwayat hai. Kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: "Nazar barhaq hai aur jab kisi ko nazar ki wajah se ghusl karne ka kaha jaye to usko ghusl karna chahie."
