Hazrat Abu Dharr narrates that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept repeating this verse until morning came (translation) If You punish them, then they are Your servants and if You forgive them then You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
حضرت ابو ذر فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس آیت کو دہراتے رہے یہاں تک کہ صبح ہوگئی (ترجمہ) اگر تو انھیں عذاب دے تو وہ تیرے بندے ہیں، اگر تو انھیں معاف کردے تو تو غالب، حکمت والا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Zar farmate hain ke aik martaba Nabi Pak (SAW) is ayat ko dohrate rahe yahan tak ke subah hogayi (tarjuma) Agar tu unhen azab de to wo tere bande hain, agar tu unhen maaf karde to tu ghalib, hikmat wala hai.
Hazrat Saeed bin Ubaid Tai says that once in the month of Ramadan, Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair was offering prayers and was reciting this verse (translation): They will soon come to know when collars and chains will be put around their necks, and they will be dragged, meaning in boiling water, then thrown into the fire.
حضرت سعید بن عبید طائی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ماہ رمضان میں حضرت سعید بن جبیر نماز پڑھتے ہوئے اس آیت کو دہرا رہے تھے (ترجمہ) وہ عنقریب معلوم کرلیں گے جب کہ ان کی گردنوں میں طوق اور زنجیریں ہوں گی اور گھسیٹے جائیں گے یعنی کھولتے ہوئے پانی میں پھر آگ میں جھونک دیے جائیں گے۔
Hazrat Saeed bin Obaid Tai kehte hain ke aik martaba mah e Ramzan mein Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair namaz parhte hue is ayat ko dohrane lage they woh anqareeb maloom kar lenge jabke unki gardanon mein touq aur zanjeeren hongi aur ghasite jayenge yani kholte hue pani mein phir aag mein jhonk diye jayenge
Hazrat Masruq narrated that Hazrat Tamim Dari used to repeat this verse frequently { أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِینَ اجْتَرَحُوا السَّیِّئَاتِ أَنْ نَجْعَلَہُمْ کَاَلَّذِینَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَوَائً مَحْیَاہُمْ وَمَمَاتُہُمْ } (Translation) Do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do righteous deeds, that their lives and their deaths will be the same?
حضرت مسروق فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت تمیم داری نے اس آیت کو بار بار دہرایا { أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِینَ اجْتَرَحُوا السَّیِّئَاتِ أَنْ نَجْعَلَہُمْ کَاَلَّذِینَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَوَائً مَحْیَاہُمْ وَمَمَاتُہُمْ } (ترجمہ) وہ لوگ جو برے کام کرتے ہیں کیا وہ یہ خیال کرتے ہیں کہ ہم ان کو ان لوگوں جیسا کردیں گے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرتے رہے اور ان کی زندگی اور موت یکساں ہوں گے ؟
Hazrat Masrooq farmate hain keh Hazrat Tameem Dari ne is ayat ko baar baar dohraaya { Am hasibal lazeena ijtarahus sayyi aati an naj'alahum kal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus salihaati sawa'an mahyaahum wa mamaatuhum }
Hazrat Naseer bin Abi Tammah narrates that Hazrat Rabia bin Khathim, while praying, when he reached this verse (translation), "Do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do righteous deeds, that their lives and deaths will be equal?" He kept repeating it till morning.
حضرت نسیر بن ابی طعمہ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت ربیع بن خثیم نماز پڑھتے ہوئے جب اس آیت پر پہنچے (ترجمہ) وہ لوگ جو برے کام کرتے ہیں کیا وہ یہ خیال کرتے ہیں کہ ہم ان کو ان لوگوں جیسا کردیں گے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرتے رہے اور ان کی زندگی اور موت یکساں ہوں گے ؟ تو صبح تک اسے ہی دہراتے رہے۔
Hazrat Nasir bin Abi Tama kehte hain ki Hazrat Rabia bin Khatim namaz parhte hue jab is ayat par pahunche wo log jo bure kaam karte hain kya wo ye khayal karte hain ki hum un ko un logon jaisa kar denge jo imaan laye aur nek amal karte rahe aur un ki zindagi aur mout yaksaan honge to subah tak isi tarah dohrate rahe
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal narrates that in the year of the conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued to recite Surah Al-Fath repeatedly while riding his mount. Hazrat Muawiyah bin Qurrah says that if I did not fear that people would gather, I would have shown you the manner of recitation.
حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فتح مکہ والے سال اپنی سواری پر بار بار سورة الفتح کی تلاوت فرماتے رہے۔ حضرت معاویہ بن قرہ فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر مجھے لوگوں کے جمع ہوجانے کا اندیشہ نہ ہوتا تو میں تمہیں قراءت کا انداز بتاتا۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Fath Makkah wale saal apni sawari per baar baar Surah Al-Fath ki tilawat farmate rahe. Hazrat Muawiyah bin Qurrah farmate hain keh agar mujhe logon ke jama hojane ka andesha na hota to main tumhen qirat ka andaz batata.
