Aidh bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, who was a very righteous companion of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, once went to Ubaidullah bin Ziyad and said, "I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying, 'The worst shepherd is a tyrannical king. Beware of being one of them.'" Ibn Ziyad (arrogantly) said, "Sit down, you are just the leftover sediment of Muhammad's companions." Aidh said, "Could there be sediment among the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him? Sediment is found in those who came after and others."

حضرت عائذ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ جو نبی ﷺ کے صحابہ میں انتہائی نیک صحابی تھے ایک مرتبہ عبیداللہ بن زیاد کے پاس گئے اور فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے بدترین نگہبان ظالم بادشاہ ہوتا ہے تم ان میں سے ہونے سے بچو ابن زیاد نے (گستاخی سے) کہا بیٹھو تم تو محمد کے ساتھیوں کا بچاہوا تلچھٹ ہو حضرت عائذ نے فرمایا کیا نبی ﷺ کے صحابہ میں بھی تلچھٹ ہوسکتی ہے؟ یہ تو بعد والوں میں اور ان کے علاوہ دوسرے لوگوں میں ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Aaiz bin Amr razi Allah anhu jo Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sahaba mein intehai nek sahabi the ek martaba Ubaidullah bin Ziyad ke pass gaye aur farmaya keh maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai badtareen nigahban zalim badshah hota hai tum in mein se hone se bacho Ibn Ziyad ne (gustakhi se) kaha baitho tum to Muhammad ke saathiyon ka bacha hua talchhat ho Hazrat Aaiz ne farmaya kya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sahaba mein bhi talchhat hosakti hai? Ye to baad walon mein aur un ke ilawa dusre logon mein hota hai.
Abu Shamir al-Dabbi said: I heard A'idh ibn Amr forbidding (the use of) Dibaa', Hintam and Muzaffat. So, I asked him: Did you hear this from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him? He said: Yes!

ابوشمر ضبعی کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عائذ بن عمرو کو دباء اور حنتم اور مزفت سے منع کرتے ہوئے سنا تو پوچھا کہ کیا وہ یہ بات نبی ﷺ کے حوالے سے کر رہے ہیں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا جی ہاں!
Abu Shimr Zabai kahte hain keh maine Hazrat Aaiz bin Amro ko dabaa aur hantam aur mazfat se mana karte hue suna to poocha keh kya woh yeh baat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hawale se kar rahe hain? Unhon ne farmaya ji haan!
It is narrated by A'idh (may Allah be pleased with him) that once there was a shortage of water, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution from a bowl or a small tub, and we sprinkled its drops on ourselves. We considered the person very lucky who got that water, and we thought that everyone got it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led us in the morning prayer.

حضرت عائذ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ پانی کی قلت واضح ہوگئی تو نبی ﷺ نے ایک پیالے یا ٹب میں وضو کیا اور ہم نے اس کے چھینٹے اپنے اوپر مارے اور ہماری نظروں میں وہ شخص بہت خوش نصیب تھا جسے وہ پانی مل گیا اور ہمارا خیال ہے کہ سب ہی کو وہ پانی مل گیا تھا پھر نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں صبح کی نماز پڑھائی۔
Hazrat Aiz RA se marvi hai ki ek martaba pani ki qilat wazeh hogayi to Nabi SAW ne ek piyale ya tub mein wuzu kiya aur humne uske chheente apne upar maare aur humari nazron mein woh shakhs bahut khushnaseeb tha jise woh pani mil gaya aur humara khayal hai ki sabhi ko woh pani mil gaya tha phir Nabi SAW ne humein subah ki namaz parhayi.
It is narrated on the authority of Aidh bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that Salman Suhaib and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with them) were sitting with some people when Abu Sufyan bin Harb passed by. These people started saying that Allah’s swords have never seized the necks of the enemies of Allah like this before. Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) heard this and said, "Are you saying this to the Sheikh and Sardar (chieftain) of Quraysh?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was informed of this incident. He said, "O Abu Bakr! Have you upset these people? Because if they are upset, then Allah will be upset." Hearing this, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came to them and said, "Brothers, maybe you are upset?" They said, "No, O Abu Bakr! May Allah forgive you."

حضرت عائذ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضرت سلمان صہیب اور بلال کچھ لوگوں کے ساتھ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ ابوسفیان بن حرب کا وہاں سے گزر ہوا یہ حضرات کہنے لگے کہ اللہ تلواروں نے اللہ کی دشمنوں کی گردنیں اس طرح بعد میں نہیں پکڑی ہوں گی حضرت صدیق اکبر نے یہ سن کر فرمایا کہ تم یہ بات قریش کے شیخ اور سردار سے کہہ رہے ہو؟ نبی ﷺ کو اس واقعے کی خبر ہوئی تو فرمایا اے ابوبکر کہیں تم نے ان لوگوں کو ناراض تو نہیں کردیا اس لئے کہ اگر وہ ناراض ہوگئے تو اللہ ناراض ہوجائے گا یہ سن کر حضرت ابوبکر ان لوگوں کے پاس آئے اور فرمایا بھائیو شاید تم ناراض ہوگئے ہو؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ نہیں اے ابوبکر! اللہ آپ کو معاف فرمائے۔
Hazrat Aidh bin Amr Radi Allah Anhu se marvi hai ki Hazrat Salman Saheeb aur Bilal kuch logon ke sath baithe hue the ki Abu Sufyan bin Harb ka wahan se guzar hua yeh hazrat kahne lage ki Allah talwaron ne Allah ke dushmanon ki gardanen is tarah baad mein nahin pakri hongi Hazrat Siddiq Akbar ne yeh sun kar farmaya ki tum yeh baat Quraish ke sheikh aur sardar se kah rahe ho Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko is waqeye ki khabar hui to farmaya aye Abubakar kahin tumne in logon ko naraaz to nahin kar diya isliye ki agar woh naraaz hogaye to Allah naraaz hojaega yeh sun kar Hazrat Abubakar in logon ke paas aaye aur farmaya bhaiyon shayad tum naraaz hogaye ho unhon ne kaha ki nahin aye Abubakar Allah aapko maaf farmaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Aidh (may Allah be pleased with him), most likely in a Marfoo' manner, that whoever receives any of this sustenance, it is recommended for them to utilize it to expand their sustenance, and if they are not in need of it, then to give it to someone who is more deserving than them.

حضرت عائذ رضی اللہ عنہ سے غالباً مرفوعاً مروی ہے جس شخص کو اس رزق میں سے کچھ حاصل ہو اسے چاہئے کہ اس کے ذریعے اپنے رزق میں کشادگی کرے اور اگر اس کو اس کی ضرورت نہ ہو تو کسی ایسے شخص کو دے دے جو اس سے زیادہ ضرورت مند ہو۔
حضرت عائذ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضرت سلمان صہیب اور بلال کچھ لوگوں کے ساتھ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔۔۔۔ پھر راوی نے پوری حدیث ذکر کی۔
حضرت عائذ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے پھر انہوں نے حدیث مسئلہ ذکر کی

Aa'idh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once we were sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when a villager came and began to beg persistently. He kept saying, "O Messenger of Allah, give me something to eat, O Messenger of Allah, give me something." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and went inside his house. He held both doors of his room, turned towards us, and said, "By Allah, in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if you knew what I know about begging, no one would ever ask anything from another person even if he had enough provisions for just one night." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that he be given food.

حضرت عائذ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ ایک دیہاتی آیا اور بڑی منت سماجت سے سوال کرنے لگا وہ کہہ رہا تھا یارسول اللہ مجھے کچھ کھلا دیجئے یارسول اللہ مجھے کچھ دے دیجئے نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہوئے اور گھر میں چلے گئے اور اپنے حجرے کے دونوں کواڑ پکڑ کر ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور فرمایا اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں محمد کی جان ہے اگر تمہیں وہ بات معلوم ہوتی جو سوال کرنے سے مجھے معلوم ہے تو کوئی آدمی اپنے پاس ایک رات گزارنے کے بقدر سامان ہونے کی صورت میں کسی دوسرے سے سوال نہ کرتا پھر نبی ﷺ نے اس کے کھانے کا حکم دیا۔
Hazrat Aaiz (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas baithe hue the ki aik dehati aaya aur badi minnat samajat se sawal karne laga woh keh raha tha Ya Rasul Allah mujhe kuch khila dijiye Ya Rasul Allah mujhe kuch de dijiye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kharay hue aur ghar mein chale gaye aur apne hujre ke donon kiwad pakar kar hamari taraf mutawajja hue aur farmaya iss zaat ki qasam jis ke dast qudrat mein Muhammad ki jaan hai agar tumhein woh baat maloom hoti jo sawal karne se mujhe maloom hai to koi aadmi apne paas aik raat guzarne ke barabar saman hone ki soorat mein kisi dusre se sawal na karta phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uske khane ka hukum diya.
It is narrated on the authority of Aa'idh (may Allah be pleased with him) that whoever receives some of this sustenance, it is better for him to use it to increase his sustenance, and if he is not in need of it, then he should give it to someone who is more needy than him.

Narrated `A'idh (RA): Whoever gets anything out of this (war booty) should spend out of it on himself and his family to make life easier, and he who is not in need of it should give it to one who is more needy.
