باب قضاء شهر رمضان إن شاء متفرقا، وإن شاء متتابعا
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 8234
Sayyida Aisha (ra) narrates that this verse was revealed "(So a fixed number of days, consecutive)" then the word "consecutive" was abrogated (omitted). There is no other correct interpretation apart from this.

(٨٢٣٤) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں یہ آیت نازل ہوئی (فَعِدَّۃٌ مِنْ أَیَّامٍ أُخَرَ مُتَتَابِعَاتٍ ) تو پھر مُتَتَابِعَاتٍ کا لفظ ساقط ہوگیا، یعنی منسوخ ہوگیا ۔ اس کے علاوہ کوئی تاویل درست نہیں۔
Sayyidah Ayesha (Razi Allah Anha) farmati hain yeh aayat nazil hui (Fa iddatun min ayyamin ukhara mutatabe'aat) to phir mutatabe'aat ka lafz saqit hogaya, ya'ani mansookh hogaya. Is ke ilawa koi taweel durust nahin.
Abu 'Amir Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard Abu 'Ubaydah bin Al-Jarrah (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was asked about making up the fasts of Ramadan. He said: "Allah has not given any concession to break the fast in this regard. He wants you to experience hardship in making it up, so complete their number and do whatever you like."

(٨٢٣٥) ابو عامرہوزنی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابو عبیدہ بن جراح (رض) سے سنا، ان سے رمضان کی قضا کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو انھوں نے فرمایا : اللہ نے اس میں افطار کی رخصت نہیں دی۔ وہ تم پر قضا میں مشقت کرنا چاہتا ہے ، اس کی گنتی پوری کرو اور جو تو چاہتا ہے وہ کر۔
8235 abu aamir wazni r.a. farmate hain ki maine abu ubaidah bin jarrah r.a. se suna, un se ramazan ki qaza ke bare mein poocha gaya to unhon ne farmaya : allah ne is mein iftar ki rukhsat nahin di. woh tum par qaza mein mushqkat karna chahta hai , is ki ginti poori karo aur jo tum chahta hai woh kar.
Muadh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about making up the fasts of Ramadan. He said: Count them and make them up as you wish.

(٨٢٣٦) معاذ بن جبل (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ان سے قضائِ رمضان کے متعلق سوال کیا گیا تو انھوں نے فرمایا : انھیں شمار کرو اور جیسے چاہے قضا کرو۔
8236 muaz bin jabal (raz) farmate hain ke un se qazai ramazan ke mutaliq sawal kiya gaya to unhon ne farmaya : unhen shumar karo aur jaise chahe qaza karo.
(8237) 'Aqabah bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) saw no harm in making up missed Ramadan fasts separately, i.e., not consecutively.

(٨٢٣٧) عقبہ بن حارث (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ابوہریرہ (رض) اس کی قضا میں کوئی حرج نہیں سمجھتے تھے کہ اس کی قضا جدا جدا کی جائے، یعنی رمضان کے روزوں کی۔
(8237) Aqba bin Haris (RA) farmate hain ke Abu Huraira (RA) is ki qaza mein koi harj nahi samjhte the ke is ki qaza juda juda ki jaye, yani Ramzan ke rozon ki.
He (8238) narrates that Ibn 'Abbas (R.A.) said regarding the making up of missed fasts of Ramadan: “Whoever has missed fasts, then he should hasten to make them up, meaning, he should make them up.”

(٨٢٣٨) عطاء فرماتے ہیں کہ ابن عباس (رض) نے رمضان کی قضاء کے بارے میں فرمایا : جس پر اس کی قضا ہو تو اس سے جلدی الگ ہوجائے، یعنی کرے۔
(8238) ata farmate hain ke ibn abbas (rz) ne ramzan ki qaza ke bare mein farmaya : jis par is ki qaza ho to is se jaldi alag hojae, yani kare.
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said regarding the person who has to make up for the fasts of Ramadan, that he should make them up separately. And Allah Almighty says, "{So a number of other days}," meaning, complete their count on other days.

(٨٢٣٩) عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) اس شخص کے بارے میں فرماتے ہیں جس پر رمضان کے مہینے کی قضا ہو کہ وہ اس کی قضاجدا جدا کرے اور اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں : { فَعِدَّۃٌ مِنْ أَیَّامٍ أُخَرَ } کہ اتنی گنتی دوسرے دنوں میں پوری کرو۔
Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) is shakhs ke bare mein farmate hain jis par Ramzan ke mahine ki qaza ho ke woh is ki qaza juda juda kare aur Allah ta'ala farmate hain: {fa iddatun min ayyamin ukhra} keh itni ginti dusre dinon mein puri karo.
Bakr bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) did not see any harm in it and said: We used to do it because Allah Almighty has said to complete the count on other days.

(٨٢٤٠) بکر بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ انس بن مالک (رض) اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں سمجھتے تھے اور فرمایا : کرتے تھے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا ہے کہ دوسرے دنوں میں یہ گنتی پوری کرو۔
8240 bukr bin abdullah raz farmate hain ke anas bin malik raz is mein koi harj nahi samjhte the aur farmaya karte the ke allah taala ne farmaya hai ke dusre dinon mein yeh ginti puri karo
Salih ibn Kaysan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about a person who has to make up for fasts and he fasts for a day or two at separate intervals. Will that be sufficient for him? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If a person has a debt and he keeps paying one or two Dirhams, will his debt not be cleared eventually?" They replied: "Yes." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The same way, his fasts will be fulfilled."

(٨٢٤٢) صالح بن کیسان (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھا گیا کہ ایک آدمی پر قضاء ہے اور وہ علیحدہ علیحدہ ایک یا دو دن کے روزے رکھتا ہے تو کیا اسے کفایت کر جائے گا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر کسی کا قرض ہو تو ایک یا دو درہم ادا کرتا رہے تو اس کا قرض ادا ہوجاتا ہے۔ کیا اس طرح وہ اپنے ذمے سے بری نہ ہوگا ؟ انھوں نے کہا : جی ہاں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ایسے ہی اس سے ادا ہوجائیں گے۔
8242 Salih bin Kaisan (Raz) farmate hain ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se poocha gaya ki ek aadmi par qaza hai aur wo alag alag ek ya do din ke roze rakhta hai to kya ise kafiyat kar jayega to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Agar kisi ka qarz ho to ek ya do dirham ada karta rahe to uska qarz ada hojata hai. Kya is tarah wo apne zimme se bari na hoga? Unhon ne kaha: Ji haan to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aise hi is se ada hojayege.
Muhammad bin Munkadar said that it reached me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about making up missed fasts of Ramadan separately. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “It is up to you. Tell me, if someone owes a debt and he pays it off one or two dirhams at a time, will his debt not be cleared?” Surely Allah is more deserving that He should overlook it and pardon it.

(٨٢٤٣) محمد بن منکدر فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے یہ بات پہنچی کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے رمضان کے روزہ کی جدا جدا قضا کرنے کے متعلق پوچھا گیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یہ تیری طرف ہے، تم بتاؤ کہ اگر کسی پر قرض ہو تو وہ اس میں سے ایک ایک دو درہم ادا کرتا ہے، کیا اس کی ادائیگی نہیں ہوگی ! تو اللہ زیادہ حق رکھتا ہے کہ وہ درگزر کرے اور معاف کردے۔
Muhammad bin Munkadar farmate hain keh mujhe yeh baat pahunchi keh Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se Ramzan ke roze ki juda juda qaza karne ke mutalliq poocha gaya to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Yeh teri taraf hai, tum batao keh agar kisi per qarz ho to woh is mein se ek ek do dirham ada karta hai, kya is ki adaegi nahin hogi! To Allah zyada haq rakhta hai keh woh darguzar kare aur maaf karde.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has to make up for missed fasts of Ramadan, let him fast them consecutively and not separately."

(٨٢٤٤) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جس کے ذمہ رمضان کی قضا ہو تو وہ انھیں اکٹھے رکھے جدا جدا قضا نہ کرے۔
(8244) Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Jis ke zimme Ramadan ki qaza ho to wo unhen ikathe rakhe juda juda qaza na kare.
(8245) It is narrated on the authority of Harith Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), regarding the making up of Ramadan fasts, that he used to keep them consecutively.

(٨٢٤٥) حارث علی (رض) سے رمضان کی قضا کے بارے میں بیان کرتے ہیں کہ وہ لگاتا رر کھے۔
(8245) Haris Ali (RA) se Ramzan ki qaza ke bare mein bayan karte hain ke woh lagatar rakhe.
Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) did not see any harm in making up for missed fasts of Ramadan separately (i.e., not consecutively).

(٨٢٤٦) حارث (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ علی (رض) رمضان کی جدا جدا قضا کرنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں سمجھتے تھے۔
(8246) Haris (RA) farmate hain keh Ali (RA) Ramzan ki juda juda qaza karne mein koi harj nahin samjhte the.
Nafi' narrated that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) did not observe the fasts of Ramadan separately, and Ibn Umar said the same, but it was found different from Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him).

(٨٢٤٧) نافع عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ رمضان کی قضا کو جدا جدا نہیں کرتے تھے اور ایسے ہی ابن عمر (رض) نے کہا مگر علی بن ابی طالب (رض) سے اس میں اختلاف پایا گیا۔
8247 Nafe Abdullah bin Umar (RA) se naqal farmate hain ki wo Ramzan ki qaza ko juda juda nahi karte thay aur aise hi Ibn Umar (RA) ne kaha magar Ali bin Abi Talib (RA) se is mein ikhtilaf paya gaya.
