Chapter on someone who needs to shave his head due to harm, he shaves it and expiates.
باب من احتاج إلى حلق رأسه للأذى حلقه وافتدى

Ka'b bin 'Ajrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do the lice on your head bother you?" I said: "Yes." He said: "Shave your head and fast for three days, or feed six poor people, or sacrifice a goat."

(٩٠٩١) کعب بن عجرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا تجھے تیرے سر کی جوئیں تکلیف دیتی ہیں ؟ تو میں نے کہا : جی ہاں ! آپ نے فرمایا : اپنا سر منڈوالے اور تین دن کے روزے رکھ یا چھ مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلایا ایک بکری قربان کر۔

Ka'b bin 'Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the state of Ihram, and lice were bothering him in his head. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded him to shave his head and said: "Fast for three days, or feed six needy persons, each one with a Mudd of food, or sacrifice a sheep. Whichever of these you do will suffice for you."

(٩٠٩٢) کعب بن عجرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ حالت احرام میں تھے اور انھیں سر میں جوئیں تنگ کرتی تھیں ، انھیں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے سر منڈوانے کا حکم دیا اور فرمایا : تین دن کے روزے رکھ یا چھ مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلا، ہر مسکین کو ایک مد جو، یا ایک بکری قربانی کی، ان میں سے جو بھی تو کرلے گا، تجھ سے کفایت کر جائے گا۔
9092 Kaab bin Ujrah (RA) farmate hain ki woh Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath halat ehraam mein thay aur unhain sar mein jooen tang karti thin, unhain Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne sar mundwane ka hukum diya aur farmaya: teen din ke roze rakh ya chhe miskeenon ko khana khila, har miskeen ko ek mudd jau, ya ek bakri qurbani ki, in mein se jo bhi tu karle ga, tujh se kafaayat kar jaye ga.
Ka'b bin 'Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that when they were in Hudaybiyyah, before entering Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by him while he was kindling a fire under his cooking pot and lice were falling on his face. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do these lice bother you?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Then shave your head and feed six needy people with a Faraq (of food), and a Faraq is three Sa's, or fast for three days, or offer a sacrifice (of a sheep or goat)."

(٩٠٩٣) کعب بن عجرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ جب وہ حدیبیہ میں تھے تو مکہ میں داخل ہونے سے پہلے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان کے پاس سے گزرے اور وہ اپنی ہنڈیا کے نیچے آگ جلا رہے تھے اور جوئیں ان کے چہرے پر گر رہی تھیں تو آپ نے فرمایا : کیا تجھے تیری یہ جوئیں تکلیف دیتی ہیں ؟ تو میں نے کہا : جی ہاں ! آپ نے فرمایا : تو اپنا سر منڈوا لے اور ایک فرق چھ مساکین کو کھلا اور فرق تین صاع کا ہوتا ہے یا تین دن کے روزے رکھ یا ایک قربانی کرلے۔

Ka'b bin 'Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by him in the year of Hudaibiyah and said: "Do the lice on your head bother you?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then shave your head, then offer a sacrifice, or fast for three days, or feed three saa's of dates to six poor people."

(٩٠٩٤) کعب بن عجرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) حدیبیہ والے سال ان کے پاس سے گزرے اور فرمایا : کیا تجھے تیرے سر کی جوئیں تکلیف دیتی ہیں ؟ تو انھوں نے کہا : جی ہاں تو آپ نے فرمایا : سر منڈوالے، پھر قربانی کرلینا یا تین دن تک روزے رکھ یا تین صاع کھجوریں چھ مسکینوں کو کھلا دو۔
Kab bin Ajra (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Hudaibiya wale saal unke pas se guzre aur farmaya: kya tujhe tere sar ki joon takleef deti hain? To unhon ne kaha: ji haan to aap ne farmaya: sar mundwa lo, phir qurbani karlena ya teen din tak roze rakh ya teen saa khajoorein chhe miskeeno ko khila do.
Ka'b bin 'Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I got lice in my head until I feared for my eyesight, and I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the year of Hudaibiyyah. So Allah Almighty revealed this verse concerning me: {So whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head...} [Al-Baqarah: 196]. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called me and said: "Shave your head and fast for three days or feed six needy people one Farq of food each, or sacrifice a sheep." So I shaved my head, then I sacrificed a sheep.

(٩٠٩٥) کعب بن عجرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میرے سر میں جوئیں پڑگئیں حتیٰ کہ مجھے اپنی بینائی کا خوف ہونے لگا اور میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ حدیبیہ والے سال تھا اللہ تعالیٰ نے میرے بارے میں یہ آیت نازل کی : { فَمَنْ کَانَ مِنْکُمْ مَّرِیْضًا اَوْ بِہٖٓ اَذًی مِّنْ رَّاْسِہٖ } [البقرۃ : ١٩٦] ” جو مریض ہو یا اس کے سر میں تکلیف ہو۔۔۔ الخ “ تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھے بلایا اور فرمایا : اپنا سر منڈوا اور تین دن کے روزے رکھ یا چھ مسکینوں کو ایک فرق منقی کھلایا ایک بکری ذبح کر۔ تو میں نے حلق کروایا پھر ایک بکری ذبح کی۔
(9095) Kaab bin Ujrah (RA) farmate hain ke mere sar mein jooein par gayeen hatta ke mujhe apni beenai ka khauf hone laga aur mein Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath Hudaibiya wale saal tha Allah Ta'ala ne mere bare mein ye ayat nazil ki: { Faman kana minkum marizanw aw bihi azi min raasihi } [Al-Baqarah: 196] ” Jo mariz ho ya uske sar mein takleef ho… Al-Kha “ to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne mujhe bulaya aur farmaya: apna sar mundwa aur teen din ke roze rakh ya chhe miskeenon ko ek farq munqia khilaya ek bakri zibah kar. To mein ne halq karwaya phir ek bakri zibah ki.
Abdullah bin Ma'qal narrated that he was sitting with Ka'b bin 'Ujrah in the mosque of Kufa and asked him about the verse: "{…ransom of either observing a fast or giving sadaqah or offering sacrifice.}" He said: "I was taken to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while lice were falling on my face. You (ﷺ) said: 'I did not think that you were in such a hard condition. Can you find a goat?' I said: 'No.' You (ﷺ) said: 'Then observe fast for three days or feed six poor persons, half a Sa' each, and get your head shaved.' Ka'b said: 'This verse was revealed particularly concerning me and now it is general for all of you.'"

(٩٠٩٦) عبداللہ بن معقل فرماتے ہیں کہ میں مسجد کوفہ میں کعب بن عجرہ (رض) کے پاس بیٹھا تھا، میں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے فرمان : { فَفِدْیَۃٌ مِّنْ صِیَامٍ اَوْ صَدَقَۃٍ اَوْ نُسُکٍ } کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انھوں نے کہا : مجھے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس اٹھا کرلے جایا گیا، جب کہ جوئیں میرے چہرے پر گر رہی تھیں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مجھے معلوم نہیں تھا کہ تجھے اس قدر تکلیف ہے، کیا بکری مل جائے گی ؟ میں نے کہا : نہیں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تین دن کے روزے رکھ یا چھ مساکین کو کھلانا کھلا، ہر مسکین کو آدھا صاع اور اپنا سر منڈوالے، کعب فرماتے ہیں : یہ آیت خاص میرے بارے میں نازل ہوئی تھی اور اب وہ تم سب کے لیے عام ہے۔
9096 Abdullah bin Maqal farmate hain ki mein Masjid Kufa mein Kaab bin Ujrah (RA) ke pass betha tha, maine Allah taala ke farman: { fa fidyatun min siamin aw sadaqatin aw nusukin } ke bare mein poocha to unhon ne kaha: mujhe Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass utha kar le jaya gaya, jab ki jooen mere chehre par gir rahi thin to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: mujhe maloom nahin tha ki tujhe is qadar takleef hai, kya bakri mil jayegi? Maine kaha: nahin to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: teen din ke roze rakh ya chhe miskeenon ko khilana khila, har miskeen ko adha saa aur apna sar mundwa le, Kaab farmate hain: yeh ayat khas mere bare mein nazil hui thi aur ab woh tum sab ke liye aam hai.
