Chapter on Those Who Permitted Praying Alone Behind the Row
باب من جوز الصلاة دون الصف
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5215
(5215) (a) It is narrated on the authority of Hasan Abu Bakra that when he came, the people were in bowing (Ruku). So he too bowed without joining the row. Then he joined the row. When the Prophet (ﷺ) finished his prayer, he asked: Who bowed without joining the row and then joined it? Abu Bakra (May Allah be pleased with him) said: Messenger of Allah! It was me. Upon this he (ﷺ) said: May Allah increase your eagerness (for prayer), but do not do so again.
(b) In the narration of Razin, it is stated that when Abu Bakra came, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was in bowing posture (Ruku).

(٥٢١٥) (الف) حسن ابوبکرہ سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ جب وہ آئے تو لوگ رکوع میں تھے، انھوں نے بغیر صف کے ہی رکوع کردیا۔ پھر صف کی جانب چلے، جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی نماز پوری کی تو فرمایا : کس نے بغیر صف کے رکوع کیا پھر صف میں آملا۔ ابوبکرہ (رض) نے عرض کیا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! میں تھا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ تیری حرص کو زیادہ کرے آیندہ ایسے نہ کرنا۔
(ب) روذ باری کی حدیث میں ہے کہ ابوبکرہ آئے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) رکوع کی حالت میں تھے۔
5215 alf hasan abubakarah se naql farmate hain ki jab wo aye to log ruku mein thy unhon ne baghair saf ke hi ruku kardiya phir saf ki janib chaly jab nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne apni namaz puri ki to farmaya kis ne baghair saf ke ruku kiya phir saf mein aamla abubakarah (ra) ne arz kiya aye allah ke rasool main tha aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya allah teri haris ko ziyada kare aindah aise na karna b roz bari ki hadees mein hai ki abubakarah aye to rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ruku ki halat mein thy
Hasan Abu Bakr narrated that he entered the mosque and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in bowing [position in prayer]. He (Hasan) went into bowing [position] in order to join the row. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: May Allah increase your eagerness, but do not do this again.

(٥٢١٦) حسن ابوبکرہ سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ مسجد میں داخل ہوئے اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) رکوع میں تھے۔ انھوں نے صف میں ملنے کے لیے رکوع کردیا۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ تیری حرص کو زیادہ کرے، لیکن آیندہ ایسے نہ کرنا۔
(5216) Hasan Abubakrah se naql farmate hain ki woh masjid mein dakhil hue aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ruku mein thay. Unhon ne saf mein milne ke liye ruku kardiya. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Allah teri haris ko zyada kare, lekin aayinda aise na karna.
Hasan Abu Bakr narrated that he entered the Masjid and the Prophet (ﷺ) was in bowing (Ruku). He said: I bowed (without joining the row). The Prophet (ﷺ) said: May Allah increase your eagerness, but do not do this again.

(٥٢١٧) حسن ابوبکرہ سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ مسجد میں داخل ہوئے اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) رکوع میں تھے۔ فرماتے ہیں : میں نے صف کے بغیر ہی رکوع کیا تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ تمہارے حرص کو زیادہ کرے آیندہ ایسے نہ کرنا۔
(5217) Hasan AbuBakra se naql farmate hain ki woh masjid mein dakhil hue aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ruku mein thay farmate hain: main ne saf ke baghair hi ruku kya to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Allah tumhare hirs ko zyada kare aayinda aise na karna.
Ata' bin Abi Rabah narrated that he heard Abdullah bin Zubair saying on the pulpit to the people: "When one of you enters the mosque and the people are in bowing (Ruku'), he should bow as he enters, then, while still bowing, he should slowly walk until he joins the row. This is the Sunnah." Ata' said: "I saw him (Ibn Zubair) doing so (himself)."

(٥٢١٨) عطاء بن ابی رباح فرماتے ہیں کہ اس نے عبداللہ بن زبیر سے سنا، وہ منبر پر تھے اور لوگوں سے کہہ رہے تھے جب تم میں سے کوئی مسجد میں داخل ہو اور لوگ رکوع میں ہوں تو وہ داخل ہوتے ہی رکوع کرے، پھر رکوع کی حالت میں آہستہ آہستہ چل کر صف میں شامل ہوجائے، یہ سنت ہے۔ عطاء کہتے ہیں : میں نے ان کو دیکھا تھا وہ ایسے ہی کرتے تھے۔
Ata bin Abi Rabah farmate hain ki usne Abdullah bin Zubair se suna, woh mimbar par thay aur logon se keh rahe thay jab tum mein se koi masjid mein dakhil ho aur log ruku mein hon to woh dakhil hote hi ruku kare, phir ruku ki halat mein ahista ahista chal kar saf mein shamil ho jaye, yeh sunnat hai. Ata kehte hain : main ne unko dekha tha woh aise hi karte thay.
Abu Umama ibn Sahl ibn Hunaif reported that Zayd ibn Thabit entered the mosque while the Imam was in bowing position (Ruku). He (Zayd) then bowed without joining the row first and joined the row while he was still bowing.

(٥٢١٩) ابو امامہ بن سھل بن حنیف فرماتے ہیں کہ زید بن ثابت مسجد میں داخل ہوئے اور امام رکوع کی حالت میں تھا تو انھوں نے بغیر صف کے ہی رکوع کردیا اور چلتے چلتے صف میں شامل ہوگئے۔
Abu Umama bin Sahl bin Hanif farmate hain ki Zaid bin Sabit masjid mein dakhil hue aur Imam ruku ki halat mein tha to unhon ne baghair saff ke hi ruku kardiya aur chalte chalte saff mein shamil hogaye.
Ishaq bin Abdullah narrates from his paternal uncle Anas bin Malik that I offered prayer behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). A child was with me and Umm Sulaim was behind us.

(٥٢٢٠) اسحاق بن عبداللہ اپنے چچا انس بن مالک سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی، میرے ساتھ ایک بچہ تھا اور ام سلیم ہمارے پیچھے تھیں۔
Ishaq bin Abdullah apne chacha Anas bin Malik se naql farmate hain ki maine Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke peeche namaz parhi, mere sath ek baccha tha aur Umm Sulaim hamare peeche thin.
Musa bin Anas narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led me and a woman in prayer. He placed me on his right side and the woman was behind us.

(٥٢٢١) موسیٰ بن انس حضرت انس (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے میری اور ایک عورت کی امامت کروائی، آپ نے مجھے اپنی دائیں جانب کرلیا اور عورت ہمارے پیچھے تھی۔
Musa bin Anas Hazrat Anas (RA) se naqal farmate hain ke Nabi (SAW) ne meri aur ek aurat ki imamat karwai, aap ne mujhe apni dayen janib kar liya aur aurat hamare peeche thi.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I prayed along with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was praying behind us with us. I was praying alongside the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

(٥٢٢٢) ابن عباس (رض) نقل فرماتے ہیں : میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پہلو میں نماز پڑھی اور عائشہ (رض) ہمارے پیچھے ہمارے ساتھ نماز پڑھ رہی تھیں۔ میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پہلو میں ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھ رہا تھا۔
(5222) ibne abbas (rz) naql farmate hain : maine nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pehlu mein namaz parhayi aur ayesha (rz) humare peeche humare sath namaz parh rahi thin. mein nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pehlu mein un ke sath namaz parh raha tha.
