Umm Hani bint Abi Talib narrates that I went to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the year of the conquest of Makkah. When I reached there, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was taking a bath and his daughter Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) had made a curtain for him with a cloth. I greeted him and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: Who is it? I replied: I am Umm Hani, the daughter of Abu Talib. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Welcome to Umm Hani! When you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the bath, you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and wrapped yourself in a cloth and offered eight rak'ahs of nafl. Then he turned to me. I submitted that my brother Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that he intends to kill a person so-and-so bin Hubayrah, whom I have given refuge. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: O Umm Hani, we also give refuge to the one whom you have given refuge. Umm Hani stated that it was the time of Chasht.

(١٨١٧٣) حضرت ام ہانی بنت ابی طالب فرماتی ہیں کہ میں فتح مکہ کے سال رسول کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی۔ جب میں وہاں پہنچی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) غسل فرما رہے تھے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی بیٹی فاطمہ (رض) نے ایک کپڑے کے ساتھ آپ کے لیے پردہ کیا ہوا تھا۔ میں نے سلام کیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دریافت فرمایا : کون ہے ؟ میں نے جواب دیا : میں ام ہانی ابو طالب کی بیٹی ہوں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ام ہانی کے لیے خوش آمدید ! جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) غسل سے فارغ ہوئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے کھڑے ہو کر ایک کپڑے میں لپٹ کر آٹھ رکعت نفل ادا کیے۔ پھر میری جانب متوجہ ہوئے۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ میرا بھائی علی (رض) کہتا ہے کہ وہ ایک شخص فلاں بن ہبیرہ کو قتل کرنے کا ارادہ رکھتے ہیں جس کو میں نے پناہ دی ہے۔ رسول مکرم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے ام ہانی جس شخص کو تو نے پناہ دی ہے اسے ہم بھی پناہ دیتے ہیں ام ہانی نے بیان کیا یہ چاشت کا وقت تھا۔
18173 Hazrat Umme Hani bint Abi Talib farmati hain ke mein Fateh Makkah ke saal Rasool Kareem ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki khidmat mein hazir hui Jab mein wahan pahunchi to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) gusl farma rahe the aur aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki beti Fatima (Razi Allah Anha) ne ek kapre ke sath aap ke liye parda kiya hua tha Mein ne salam kiya to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne daryaft farmaya Kaun hai Mein ne jawab diya mein Umme Hani Abu Talib ki beti hun Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya Umme Hani ke liye khush aamadeed Jab aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) gusl se farigh hue to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne kharre ho kar ek kapre mein lipat kar aath rakat nafl ada kiye Phir meri jaanib mutawajjah hue Mein ne arz kiya ke mera bhai Ali (Razi Allah Anhu) kehta hai ke woh ek shaks falan bin Hubairah ko qatal karne ka irada rakhte hain jisko mein ne panah di hai Rasool Mukarram ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya Aye Umme Hani jis shaks ko tu ne panah di hai use hum bhi panah dete hain Umme Hani ne bayan kiya yeh chasht ka waqt tha
(18174) Abu Marthad, freed slave of Aqil bin Abi Talib, narrated that Um Hani gave refuge to her two polytheist brothers. Ali (R.A.) intended to kill both of them and said, "Why did you give refuge to the polytheists?" Um Hani said, "Kill me before killing them." When she started to leave, he said, "Close their door." She went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and informed him. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "What is the matter with you, O Um Hani? Whom you have given peace, we also give peace. To whom you have given refuge, we also give refuge."

(١٨١٧٤) ابو مرہ عقیل بن ابی طالب کے غلام فرماتے ہیں کہ ام ہانی نے اپنے دو مشرک دیوروں کو پناہ دی تو حضرت علی (رض) نے دونوں کے قتل کا ارادہ کیا اور کہا : تو نے مشرکین کو کیوں پناہ دی ہے۔ ام ہانی نے کہا : ان کے قتل سے پہلے مجھے قتل کرو۔ جانے لگی تو فرمایا : ان کا دروازہ بند کر دو ۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس جا کر خبر دی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اسے کیا ہے اے ام ہانی ! جس کو تو نے امن دیا ہم بھی امن دیتے ہیں۔ جس کو تو نے پناہ دی ہم بھی پناہ دیتے ہیں۔
(18174) Abu Marah Aqeel bin Abi Talib ke ghulam farmate hain ke Umm Hani ne apne do mushrik dayron ko panah di to Hazrat Ali (RA) ne donon ke qatl ka irada kiya aur kaha: Tu ne mushrikeen ko kyun panah di hai. Umm Hani ne kaha: In ke qatl se pehle mujhe qatl karo. Jane lagi to farmaya: In ka darwaza band kar do. Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass ja kar khabar di to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Ise kya hai ae Umm Hani! Jis ko tu ne aman diya hum bhi aman dete hain. Jis ko tu ne panah di hum bhi panah dete hain.
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Um Hani said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "My brother Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) intends to kill the one whom I have granted refuge." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "We have also granted refuge to the one whom you have given refuge."

(١٨١٧٥) حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ام ہانی نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے کہا کہ میرے بھائی علی (رض) کا ارادہ ہے کہ جس کو میں نے پناہ دی ہے اس کو قتل کر دے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جس کو تو نے پناہ دی ہے ہم نے بھی پناہ دے دی۔
(18175) Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) farmate hain keh Umm Hani ne Rasul Allah (SAW) se kaha keh mere bhai Ali (RA) ka irada hai keh jis ko maine panah di hai us ko qatl kar de to Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : Jis ko tune panah di hai hum ne bhi panah de di.
Aswad narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: If a woman gave refuge against the Muslims, they used to consider her refuge as permissible.

(١٨١٧٦) اسود حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ فرماتی ہیں کہ اگر عورت مسلمانوں کے خلاف پناہ دے دے تو اس کے پناہ دینے کو جائز خیال کرتے تھے۔

Umm Salamah narrated that Zainab, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), sent to him (peace be upon him) seeking refuge from her husband, Abu al-'As ibn al-Rabi'. She went and her head could be seen from outside the room while he (peace be upon him) was praying the morning prayer. She said: "I am Zainab, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), I have given refuge to Abu al-'As." When he (peace be upon him) finished the prayer, he said: "I did not know about this matter that you have mentioned. Beware, even the least of the Muslims can give refuge."

(١٨١٧٧) حضرت ام سلمہ بیان کرتی ہیں کہ زینب بنت رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اس کے خاوند ابو العاص بن ربیع نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس پناہ لینے کے لیے بھیجا۔ وہ چلی تو ان کا سر حجرہ سے باہر نظر آ رہا تھا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) صبح کی نماز پڑھا رہے تھے۔ وہ فرمانے لگیں میں زینب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی بیٹی ہوں میں نے ابو العاص کو پناہ دی ہے۔ جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو فرمایا : میں بھی اس کے بارہ میں جانتا نہ تھا جو تم نے سنا خبردار مسلمانوں کا ادنیٰ آدمی بھی پناہ دے سکتا ہے۔
(18177) Hazrat Umme Salma bayan karti hain ke Zainab bint Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko uske khaavand Abu Al Aas bin Rabee ne aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas panaah lene ke liye bheja. Woh chali to unka sar hujra se bahar nazar aa raha tha aur aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) subah ki namaz parha rahe the. Woh farmanay lagi mein Zainab Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki beti hun mein ne Abu Al Aas ko panaah di hai. Jab aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) namaz se farigh huye to farmaya: mein bhi iske baare mein janta nah tha jo tumne suna khabardar musalmanon ka adna aadmi bhi panaah de sakta hai.
Yazid bin Roman narrated that when Abu Al-As bin Rabi' came to Zainab and sought refuge with her, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had gone out for the morning prayer. When he (peace be upon him) said the Takbir for prayer, Zainab said in a loud voice: "O people! I have given refuge to Abu Al-As bin Rabi'." When he (peace be upon him) finished the prayer, he said: "O people! Have you heard what I have heard?" The people said: "Yes!" He then said: "By Him in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, I did not know about this matter until I heard what you have heard." He then said that the least of the Muslims could give refuge. Then he (peace be upon him) came to Zainab and said: "O daughter! Give him good lodging, but he should not come near you, for you are not lawful for him, nor is he lawful for you."
(b) Urwah narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that Zainab said in a loud voice...

(١٨١٧٨) یزید بن رومان بیان کرتے ہیں کہ جب ابو العاص بن ربیع حضرت زینب کے پاس آیا اور ان سے پناہ کا مطالبہ کیا تو اس وقت رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) صبح کی نماز کے لیے چلے گئے تھے۔ جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے نماز کی تکبیر کہی تو زینب نے بلند آواز سے کہا : اے لوگو ! میں نے ابو العاص بن ربیع کو پناہ دے دی ہے۔ جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے نماز سے سلام پھیرا تو فرمایا : اے لوگو ! کیا تم نے سنا جو میں نے سنا ؟ لوگوں نے کہا : ہاں ! پھر فرمایا : اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں محمد کی جان ہے، میں اس بارے میں کچھ نہ جانتا تھا یہاں تک کہ میں نے ان سے سنا جو تم نے بھی سنا ہے اور فرمایا کہ مسلمانوں کا ادنیٰ شخص بھی پناہ دے سکتا ہے۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) زینب کے پاس آئے اور فرمایا : اے بیٹی ! اچھا ٹھکانا دو ، لیکن وہ آپ کے قریب نہ آئے۔ کیونکہ تو اس کے لیے اور وہ تیرے لیے حلال نہیں ہے۔
(ب) عروہ حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ زینب نے بلند آواز سے کہا۔
(18178) Yazid bin Roman bayan karte hain keh jab Abu Al-As bin Rabee Hazrat Zainab ke pas aaya aur unse panah ka mutalba kiya to us waqt Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) subah ki namaz ke liye chale gaye the. Jab Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne namaz ki takbeer kahi to Zainab ne buland aawaz se kaha: Aye logo! Maine Abu Al-As bin Rabee ko panah de di hai. Jab Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne namaz se salam phera to farmaya: Aye logo! Kya tumne suna jo maine suna? Logon ne kaha: Haan! Phir farmaya: Is Zaat ki qasam jis ke hath mein Muhammad ki jaan hai, main is baare mein kuchh na janta tha yahan tak ke maine unse suna jo tumne bhi suna hai aur farmaya ke Musalmanon ka adna shakhs bhi panah de sakta hai. Phir Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Zainab ke pas aaye aur farmaya: Aye beti! Achha thikana do, lekin woh aap ke qareeb na aaye. Kyunki tu uske liye aur woh tere liye halal nahi hai.
(b) Urwah Hazrat Ayesha (RA) se naql farmate hain ke Zainab ne buland aawaz se kaha.
(18179) Zainab states that I said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family), "Abu al-'As ibn Rabee' is the son of a close relative, a paternal uncle. And if we consider distant relations, he is the father of my children. I have granted him refuge." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) also granted him refuge.
(b) Abdullah says that Zainab (may Allah be pleased with her) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family)...

(١٨١٧٩) حضرت زینب فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے کہا کہ ابو العاص بن ربیع قریبی رشتہ دار چچا کا بیٹا ہے۔ اگر دور کی رشتہ داری ہو تو بچوں کا باپ ہے۔ میں نے اس کو پناہ دے دی ہے تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بھی اس کو پناہ دے دی۔
(ب) حضرت عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں کہ زینب (رض) نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے کہا۔۔۔
