Abdullah bin Mughaffal narrated: We besieged Khaibar. Meanwhile, a man threw a purse. I caught it. When I turned around, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in front of me, so I felt shy.

(١٧٩٩١) عبداللہ بن مغفل فرماتے ہیں : ہم نے خیبر کا محاصرہ کیا ہوا تھا۔ اسی اثناء میں ایک آدمی نے ایک تھیلی پھینکی۔ میں نے وہ پکڑ لی جب پلٹا تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سامنے تھے تو مجھے حیا آیا۔
(17991) Abdullah bin Mughafal farmate hain : hum ne Khaibar ka muhasira kiya hua tha. Isi asna mein ek aadmi ne ek thaili phenki. Maine woh pakad li jab palta to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) samne the to mujhe haya aaya.
Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A bag of fat was hung (as a prize). I took hold of it and took possession of it, saying: “This is mine and I will not give it to anyone.” When I turned around, I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in front of me. I was ashamed.
In the narration of Sulaiman, it is stated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “It is yours.” However, this is not mentioned in the narration of Shu'ba.

(١٧٩٩٢) عبداللہ بن مغفل (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ چربی کی ایک تھیلی لٹکائی گئی۔ میں نے اس کو پکڑ لیا اور اپنے قبضہ میں لے لیا اور کہا : یہ میری ہے کسی کو اس میں سے نہیں دوں گا۔ جب میں پلٹا تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو سامنے پایا تو مجھے شرم آئی۔
سلیمان کی حدیث میں ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” یہ تیری ہے۔ “ جبکہ شعبہ کی روایت میں نہیں ہے۔
(17992) Abdullah bin Mughaffal (RA) farmate hain keh charbi ki aik thaili latkai gai. Mein ne us ko pakad liya aur apne qabze mein le liya aur kaha: Yeh meri hai kisi ko is mein se nahi dun ga. Jab mein palta to Rasool Allah (SAW) ko samne paya to mujhe sharam aai.
Sulaiman ki hadees mein hai keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: "Yeh teri hai." Jabkeh Shoba ki riwayat mein nahi hai.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: In battles, we would find honey and fruits, and we would eat them. We would not bring them to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). In Bukhari's narration, honey and grapes are mentioned.

(١٧٩٩٣) ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ غزوات میں ہمیں شہد اور پھل ملتے تھے ہم ان کو کھالیتے تھے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس نہیں لاتے تھے۔ بخاری کی روایت میں شہد اور انگور کا ذکر ہے۔
(17993) Ibn Umar (RA) farmate hain ki ghazawat mein humain shahad aur phal milte thay hum in ko khalite thay. Nabi (SAW) ke pass nahin late thay. Bukhari ki riwayat mein shahad aur angoor ka zikar hai.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), an army brought honey and food as spoils of war, and Khums (one-fifth) was not taken from it.

(١٧٩٩٥) حضرت ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے دور میں ایک لشکر غنیمت میں شہد اور کھانا لایا تو اس میں سے خمس نہیں لیا گیا۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar (RA) farmate hain ke Rasool Allah (SAW) ke daur mein ek lashkar ghanimat mein shahad aur khana laya to is mein se khums nahin liya gaya.
Uthman ibn Hakam al-Jazami narrated this hadith from Nafi', and he did not mention Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that Nafi' said: An army obtained war booty.

(١٧٩٩٦) عثمان بن حکم جزامی نے یہ روایت نافع سے نقل کی ہے اور ابن عمر (رض) کا ذکر نہیں کیا کہ نافع کہتے ہیں : ایک لشکر نے غنیمت کا مال حاصل کیا۔
17996 Usman bin Hakam Juzami ne ye riwayat Nafi se naql ki hai aur Ibn Umar (Raz) ka zikr nahi kiya ke Nafi kehte hain : Ek lashkar ne ghanimat ka maal hasil kiya.
Muhammad bin Abi Mujalid said: The people of the mosque sent me to Ibn Abi Aufa to ask him what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did with the food of Khaybar. So I went to him and asked him. I said: "Did he take Khums (one-fifth) from it?" He replied, "No, because it was less than that, and we used to take from it according to our needs."

(١٧٩٩٧) محمد بن ابی مجالد کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے مسجد والوں نے ابن ابی اوفی کی طرف بھیجا کہ میں ان سے دریافت کروں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے خیبر کے کھانوں کے ساتھ کیا معاملہ کیا تھا تو میں ان کے پاس آیا اور سوال کیا تو میں نے کہا : کیا خمس نکالا تھا ؟ تو انھوں نے فرمایا : نہیں کیونکہ وہ اس سے کم تھا اور ہم ضرورت کے مطابق اس سے لے لیتے تھے۔
Muhammad bin Abi Mujalid kahte hain ki mujhe masjid walon ne Ibn Abi Aufi ki taraf bheja ki main unse daryaft karoon ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Khyber ke khanon ke sath kya mamla kiya tha to main unke pass aaya aur sawal kiya to maine kaha kya khums nikala tha to unhon ne farmaya nahi kyunki woh is se kam tha aur hum zarurat ke mutabiq is se le lete the.
Abu Burdah al-Aslami said: The Arabs used to say: 'He who eats bread gets fat.' When we conquered Khaibar, killed its people, and took their food, I sat down to eat my fill. I kept checking my body to see if I had become fat.

(١٧٩٩٨) ابو برزہ اسلمی کہتے ہیں : عرب کہا کرتے تھے کہ جو روٹی کھائے کا وہ موٹا ہوجائے گا۔ جب ہم نے خیبر فتح کیا اور ہم نے ان کو قتل کردیا اور ان کا کھانا لے لیا۔ میں اس پر بیٹھ گیا اور اس سے سیر ہو کر کھایا۔ پھر میں اپنے جسم کو دیکھا کرتا تھا کہ کیا موٹا ہوا ہوں۔
17998 Abu Barzah Aslami kehte hain Arab kaha karte the ke jo roti khaaye ka wo mota hojaaye ga Jab hum ne Khaibar fatah kiya aur hum ne un ko qatal kar diya aur un ka khana le liya main is par baith gaya aur is se ser ho kar khaya phir main apne jism ko dekha karta tha ke kya mota hua hun
Salman's servant Suwaid reported: He found a basket during the battle. He brought it to Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) who opened it, and it contained some white dish and cheese. So Salman ate from it.

(١٧٩٩٩) سلمان کے خادم سوید کہتے کہ ان کو لڑائی میں ٹوکری ملی۔ وہ انھوں نے سلمان (رض) کو دی تو انھوں نے اس کو کھولا تو اس میں سفید کھانا اور پنیر تھا تو سلمان نے اس سے کھایا۔
17999 Salman ke khadim Suwaid kahte hain ki unko larai mein tokri mili. Wo unhon ne Salman (RA) ko di to unhon ne usko khola to us mein safaid khana aur paneer tha to Salman ne us se khaya.
