Chapter: Hope in Blessings Through Children During Affliction if They are a Source of Reward

Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 7134
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: “No Muslim will have three of his children die but that they will prevent him from the Fire.” It was said: “Not even two?” He said: “Not even two.” (This is apart from what Allah has decreed.)

(٧١٣٤) حضرت ابو ہریرہ (رض) نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے روایت فرماتے ہیں : کسی مسلمان کے تین بچے نہیں فوت ہوتے مگر اسے آگ چھوئے یہ ممکن نہیں مگر جو اس کے حصہ میں ہے۔
(7134) Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) Nabi Kareem (SAW) se riwayat farmate hain : Kisi Musalman ke teen bache nahi fot hote magar use aag chhuye yeh mumkin nahi magar jo uske hisse mein hai.
Abd Ar-Razzaq narrated to us: Ma'mar informed us, and he narrated the Hadith with the same meaning from Zuhri, with this addition: "This includes those who have not reached puberty."

(٧١٣٥) عبد الرزاق فرماتے ہیں : ہمیں معمر نے خبر دی اور وہ زہری سے اسی معنی میں حدیث روایت کرتے ہیں اور یہ اضافہ کیا کہ اس میں وہ شامل ہیں جو بلوغت کو نہیں پہنچے۔
(7135) Abdur Razzaq farmate hain : humain Muammar ne khabar di aur wo Zuhri se isi maeny mein hadees riwayat karte hain aur ye izafa kiya ki is mein wo shamil hain jo baloghat ko nahin pahunche.
Abu Saeed narrated that women gathered together and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to them and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught them what Allah had taught him, then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There is not one of you who has sent forth before her three children but that those three will be a barrier (screen) for her from the fire of Hell. So a woman said: O Messenger of Allah, "two"? So he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Two also.

(٧١٣٦) ابو سعید فرماتے ہیں کہ عورتیں اکٹھی ہوئیں رسول کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان کے پاس آئے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انھیں اس کی تعلیم دی جو اللہ نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو سکھایا ، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : نہیں ہے تم میں سے کوئی عورت جس نے اپنے سے آگے بھیجے ہوں تین بچے مگر وہ تینوں اسے جہنم کی آگ سے بچانے کے لیے آڑ (پردہ) ہوں گے تو ایک عورت نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ” دو “ ہوں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : دو بھی۔
7136 Abu Saeed farmate hain ki aurten ikatthi huween Rasool Kareem ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) un ke pass aaye aur aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne unhen is ki taleem di jo Allah ne aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko sikhaya, phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Nahin hai tum mein se koi aurat jis ne apne se aage bheje hon teen bache magar wo teeno use jahannam ki aag se bachane ke liye aar (parda) honge to ek aurat ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool "do" hon to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Do bhi.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Anyone for whom two or three children who have not yet reached puberty die, and he observes patience, hoping for reward from Allah, they will be a shield for him from the Hellfire.”

(٧١٣٧) ابو ہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جس کے دو بچے یا تین جو بلوغت کو نہیں پہنچے فوت ہوگئے اور اس نے اسے اجر کا باعث سمجھتے ہوئے صبر کیا تو وہ اس کے لیے جہنم سے آڑ بن جائیں گے۔
(7137) Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Jis ke do bache ya teen jo baloghat ko nahi pahunche فوت hogaye aur usne usay ajr ka baais samajhte huye sabar kiya to wo uske liye jahannam se aar ban jayenge.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to the women of the Ansar, "None among you will lose three children but she will enter Paradise, hoping for its reward." A woman said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about two?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Two as well."

(٧١٣٨) ابو ہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انصاری عورتوں سے کہا : نہیں فوت ہوں گے تم میں سے کسی ایک کے تین بچے اور اس نے اجر کی امید رکھی ہے تو وہ جنت میں داخل ہوگی تو ایک عورت نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! اگر دو ہوں ؟ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : دو بھی۔
(7138) Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne Ansaari auraton se kaha: Nahin foot honge tum mein se kisi ek ke teen bache aur us ne ajr ki umeed rakhi hai to woh jannat mein dakhil hogi to ek aurat ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasul! Agar do hon? To aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Do bhi.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "No Muslim will be tested by the death of three children who have not reached puberty but that Allah will admit him to Paradise by His Mercy."

(٧١٣٩) انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کوئی مسلمان ایسا نہیں جس کے تین بچے فوت ہوئے جو بالغ نہیں ہوئے مگر اللہ اسے اپنی رحمت کے فضل سے جنت میں داخل کرے گا۔
(7139) Anas bin Malik (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : koi musalman aisa nahin jis ke teen bache فوت hue jo baligh nahin hue magar Allah use apni rehmat ke fazal se jannat mein dakhil kare ga.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have buried three of my children." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You have built for yourself a great barrier against the Hellfire and a strong wall."

(٧١٤١) ابو ہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ایک عورت نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئی اور عرض کیا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! میں نے اپنے تین بچے دفن کیے ہیں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تو نے اپنے لیے دوزخ کی آگ سے بہت بڑی دیوار بنا لی اور مضبوط دیوار قائم کرلی۔
(7141) Abu Huraira (RA) se riwayat hai ki ek aurat Nabi Kareem ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas aai aur arz kiya : Aye Allah ke Rasool! Maine apne teen bache dafan kiye hain to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : To ne apne liye dozakh ki aag se bahut badi deewar bana li aur mazboot deewar qaem karli.
Abu Hassan said: I said to Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): "Two children of mine have died, so tell me a hadith about it, so that our hearts may be pleased about the dead." You said: "Yes, yes! Their little children are the birds of Paradise. One of them will meet his parents or said: will meet his father, and will take hold of his hand as I am holding the edge of your garment, and he will not let go until Allah, the Exalted, admits him to Paradise."

(٧١٤٢) ابو حسان فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابوہریرہ (رض) سے کہا : میرے دو بچے فوت ہوگئے ہیں سو آپ مجھے اس بارے میں کوئی حدیث سنائیں ، جس کی وجہ سے ہمارے دل مردوں کی طرف سے خوش ہوجائیں۔ آپ نے فرمایا : ہاں ہاں ! ان کے چھوٹے بچے جنت کے پرندے ہیں، ان میں سے ایک اپنے والدین کو ملے گا یا فرمایا : والد کو ملے گا اور اس کے ہاتھ کو تھام لے گا، جیسے میں تمہارے کپڑے کی طرف پکڑے ہوئے ہوں سو وہ نہیں چھوڑے گا یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اسے جنت میں داخل کر دے گا۔
7142 Abu Hasaan farmate hain keh maine Abu Hurairah (RA) se kaha: mere do bache faut hogaye hain so aap mujhe is baare mein koi hadees sunaen, jis ki wajah se hamare dil maroon ki taraf se khush hojaen. Aap ne farmaya: Haan haan! In ke chhote bache jannat ke parinde hain, in mein se ek apne waldain ko milega ya farmaya: walid ko milega aur uske haath ko thaam lega, jaise main tumhare kapde ki taraf pakde hue hoon so woh nahin chhodega yahan tak keh Allah Ta'ala use jannat mein daakhil kar dega.
A hadith with a similar meaning has been narrated from Yahya Taimi, except that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "Their young children are the birds of Paradise."

(٧١٤٣) یحییٰ تیمی سے اسی معنی میں حدیث منقول ہے، مگر یہ کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ان کے چھوٹے بچے جنت کے پرندے ہیں۔
(7143) Yahya tamam se isi mani mein hadees manqol hai magar yeh ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Inke chhote bache jannat ke parinde hain.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “No Muslim will have three of his children die before reaching puberty but Allah will admit him to Paradise by His Mercy.” They (the narrators) said, “And two (children) also?” He (the Prophet) said, “And two.” He (Abu Hurairah) said, “He (the Prophet) said: (Those parents) will be (waiting) at one of the gates of Paradise. Then it will be said to them, ‘Enter Paradise!’ They will say, ‘Until our parents enter.’ Then it will be said, ‘Enter Paradise, you and your parents, by the Mercy of Allah.’”

(٧١٤٤) ابو ہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : نہیں کوئی مسلمان جس کے تین بچے فوت ہوئے جو بالغ نہیں ہوئے تھے مگر اس شخص کو اللہ تعالیٰ جنت میں داخل فرمائیں گے اور انھیں بھی اپنے فضل و رحمت سے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ وہ جنت کے دروازوں میں سے ایک دروازے پر ہوں گے، ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ جنت میں داخ ہو جاؤ تو وہ کہیں گے جب تک ہمارے والدین نہ آجائیں ۔ پھر ان سے کہا جائے گا تم اور تمہارے والدین بھی اللہ کے فضل ورحمت سے داخل ہو جاؤ۔
7144 Abu Huraira فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ نے فرمایا : نہیں کوئی مسلمان جس کے تین بچے فوت ہوئے جو بالغ نہیں ہوئے تھے مگر اس شخص کو اللہ تعالیٰ جنت میں داخل فرمائیں گے اور انھیں بھی اپنے فضل و رحمت سے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ وہ جنت کے دروازوں میں سے ایک دروازے پر ہوں گے، ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ جنت میں داخ ہو جاؤ تو وہ کہیں گے جب تک ہمارے والدین نہ آجائیں ۔ پھر ان سے کہا جائے گا تم اور تمہارے والدین بھی اللہ کے فضل ورحمت سے داخل ہو جاؤ۔
(7145) Narrated Abdullah bin Masud (RA): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Who amongst you do you consider to be without an heir?” They said: “The one who has no children.” He (ﷺ) said: “That is not being without an heir. Rather, the one without an heir is he whose lineage does not proceed (i.e., his children die before him).” He (ﷺ) then said: "Who amongst you do you consider to be brave?” They said: "The one whom people cannot defeat (in wrestling)." He (ﷺ) said: "That is not bravery. Rather, the brave one is he who controls himself when he is angry."

(٧١٤٥ ) عبداللہ بن مسعود (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم اپنے میں رقوب (گردنیں) کسے شمار کرتے ہو ؟ انھوں نے کہا : وہ جس کے اولاد نہ ہو، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : وہ رقوب نہیں ہے بلکہ اس سے مراد وہ شخص ہے جس کی اولاد میں سے کوئی آگے نہ گیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم ” بہادر “ کسے خیال کرتے ہو ؟ انھوں نے کہا : جسے لوگ گرا نہ سکیں، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : وہ نہیں بلکہ بہادر وہ ہے جو غصے کے وقت اپنے کو قابو میں رکھتا ہے۔
7145 Abdullah bin Masood (RA) farmate hain ke Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Tum apne mein ruqoob (gardanein) kise shumar karte ho? Unhon ne kaha: Woh jiske aulad na ho, aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Woh ruqoob nahin hai balke is se murad woh shakhs hai jiski aulad mein se koi aage na gaya to aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Tum "bahadur" kise khayaal karte ho? Unhon ne kaha: Jise log gira na sakein, aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Woh nahin balke bahadur woh hai jo ghusse ke waqt apne ko qaboo mein rakhta hai.
Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When Allah, the Exalted, takes the son of a man, Allah says to the angels, 'What did My servant say?' They say, 'He praised You and said, 'Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (Verily, to Allah we belong and unto Him is our return). Allah says, 'Build for him a house in Paradise and name it the House of Praise.”

(٧١٤٦) ابو موسیٰ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جب اللہ تعالیٰ انسان کے بیٹے کو فوت کرتے ہیں تو اللہ تعالیٰ فرشتوں سے فرماتے ہیں کہ میرے بندے نے کیا کہا ؟ تو وہ کہتے ہیں : اس نے تیری حمد کی اور إِنَّا لِلَّہِ وَإِنَّا إِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُون پڑھا۔ اللہ فرماتے ہیں : اس کے لیے جنت میں ایک گھر بناؤ اور اس کا نام ” بیت الحمد “ رکھو۔
(7146) Abu Musa (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : Jab Allah ta'ala insan ke bete ko faut karte hain to Allah ta'ala farishton se farmate hain ke mere bande ne kya kaha ? To wo kahte hain : Uss ne teri hamd ki aur inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un parha. Allah farmate hain : Uss ke liye jannat mein ek ghar banao aur uss ka naam "Bait ul Hamd" rakho.
Abdullah bin Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that I heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that whoever has two sons and they die, then Allah Almighty will enter him in Paradise. Sayyida Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said: O Messenger of Allah! Even one? So you said: Even one, then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever from my Ummah does not have such a child who has passed away, then I will be his intercessor, whoever does not have a child, he will be the first to reach my pond and he will not find me like me.

(٧١٤٧) عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا کہ جس کے دو بیٹے ہوں اور وہ فوت ہوگئے ہوں تو اللہ تعالیٰ اسیجنت میں داخل کریں گے ۔ سیدہ عائشہ (رض) نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! ایک بھی ؟ تو آپ نے فرمایا : ایک بھی، پھر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میری امت میں سے جس کے لیے ایسا بچہ نہیں جو آگے گیا ہو تو میں اس کا پیش رو جس کا بچہ نہ ہوا میں اس کا حوض پر پہلے پہنچنے والا ہو اور وہ میرا جیسا نہیں پائیں گے۔
(7147) Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke maine rasool Allah (SAW) se suna ke jis ke do bete hon aur wo faut hogaye hon to Allah taala usi jannat mein dakhil karenge. Sayyida Ayesha (RA) ne kaha: Aye Allah ke rasool! Ek bhi? To aap ne farmaya: Ek bhi, phir rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Meri ummat mein se jis ke liye aisa bachcha nahin jo aage gaya ho to mein uska pesh ro jis ka bachcha na hua mein uska hauz par pehle pohanchne wala ho aur wo mera jaisa nahin payenge.
