Mus'ab bin Sa'd reported on the authority of his father that many verses of the Qur'an had been revealed in connection with him. His mother Umm Sa'd (رضئ ْهللا تعالی عنہا) had taken oath that she would never talk with him until he abandoned his faith and she neither ate nor drank and said, Allah has commanded you to treat well your parents and I am your mother and I command you to do this. She passed three days in this state until she fainted because of extreme hunger and at that time her son whose name was Umara stood up and served her drink and she began to curse Sa'd (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed these verses of the Holy Qur'an – [We have enjoined man to show kindness to his parents; but if they force you to commit shirk with Me, of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them.] (Al-Ankaboot - 8). And this verse – [But if they pressure you to associate with Me what you have no knowledge of, do not obey them. Still keep their company in this world courteously and follow the way of those who turn to Me (in devotion).] (Luqman - 15). He also reported that there fell to the lot of Allah's Apostle (صلى ْهللا عليه و ْآله وسلم) huge spoils of war and there was one sword in them. I picked that up and came to Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and said, bestow this sword upon me (as my share in the spoils of war) and you know my state. Thereupon he said, return it to the place from where you picked it up. I went back until I decided to throw it in a store but my soul repulsed me, so I came back and asked him to give that sword to me. He said in a loud voice to return it to the place from where I had picked it up. It was on this occasion that this verse was revealed – [They asked about the spoils of war] (Al-Anfaal - 1). He further said, I once fell ill and sent a message to Allah's Apostle (ْصلى هللا عليه ْو آله وسلم). He visited me and I said to him, permit me to distribute (in charity) my property as much as I like. He did not agree. I said, (permit me to distribute) half of it. He did not agree. I said, (permit me to distribute) the third part, whereupon he kept quiet, and it was after this (that the distribution of one's property in charity) to the extent of one-third was held valid. He further said, I came to a group of persons of the Ansar and Muhajirin and they said, come, so that we may serve you wine, and it was before the use of wine had been prohibited. I went to them in a garden and there had been with them the roasted head of a camel and a small water-skin containing wine. I ate and drank along with them and there came under discussion the Ansar (Helpers) and Muhajirin (immigrants). I said, the immigrants are better than the Ansar, that a person picked up a portion of the head (of the camel and struck me with it that my nose was injured. I came to Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and informed him of the situation that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed verses pertaining to wine – [O' believers indeed, intoxicants, gambling, (sacrificing on) stone alters (of idols), and the arrows you use for divination, are all acts of Satan. Keep away from them so that you may be successful]. (Al-Ma’idah - 90).
حضرت مصعب اپنے باپ سعد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ صورت حال یہ ہے کہ قرآن مجید میں ان کے حوالے سے کئی آیات نازل ہوئیں کہا: ان کی والدہ نے قسم کھائی کہ وہ اس وقت تک ان سے بات نہیں کریں گی یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنے دین (اسلام) سے کفر کریں اور نہ ہی کچھ کھا ئیں گی اور نہ پئیں گی ان کا خیال یہ تھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمھیں حکم دیا ہے کہ اپنے والدین کی بات مانو اور میں تمھا ری ماں ہوں لہٰذا میں تمھیں اس دین کو چھوڑ دینے کا حکم دیتی ہوں۔کہا: وہ تین دن اسی حالت میں رہیں یہاں تک کہ کمزوری سے بے ہوش ہو گئیں تو ان کا بیٹا جو عمارہ کہلا تا تھا کھڑا ہوا اور انھیں پانی پلا یا۔(ہوش میں آکر) انھوں نے سعد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو بددعائیں دینی شروع کر دیں تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے قرآن میں یہ آیت نازل فر ئی:" ہم نے انسان کو اس کے والدین کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کا حکم دیا ہے(عنکبوت،آیت 8) اور اگر وہ دونوں یہ کو شش کریں کہ تم میرے ساتھ شریک ٹھہراؤ جس بات کو تم (درست ہی) نہیں جانتے تو تم ان کی اطاعت نہ کرواور دنیا میں ان کے ساتھ اچھے طریقے سے رہو۔(سورہ لقمان آیت نمبر 14۔15)حضرت سعد بیان کرتے ہیں،رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بہت زیادہ غنیمت حاصل ہوئی۔ اس میں ایک تلوار بھی تھی۔میں نے وہ اٹھا لی اور اسے لے کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا۔اور عرض کی: (میرےحصے کے علاوہ) یہ تلوارمزید مجھے دے دیں،میری حالت کا تو آپ کو علم ہے ہی آپ نے فر یا:" اسے وہیں رکھ دو جہاں سے تم نے اٹھائی ہے۔"میں چلا گیا جب میں نے اسے مقبوضہ غنائم میں واپس پھینکنا چا ہا تو میرے دل نے مجھے ملا مت کی(کہ واپس کیوں کر رہے ہو؟)تو میں آپ کے پاس واپس آگیا۔میں نے کہا: یہ مجھے عطا کر دیجئے،آپ نے میرے لیے اپنی آواز کو سخت کیا اور فر یا:" جہاں سے اٹھا ئی ہے وہیں واپس رکھ دو۔"کہا: اس پر اللہ عزوجل نے یہ نازل فر یا:" یہ لو گ آپ سے غنیمتوں کے بارے میں سوال کرتے ہیں۔(سورۃ انفال آیت نمبر1)حضرت سعد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں،میں بیمار ہو گیا۔میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف پیغام بھیجا۔ آپ میرے پاس تشریف لے آئے۔میں نے کہا: مجھے اجازت دیجیے کہ میں اپنا (سارا) مال جہاں چاہوں تقسیم کر دوں۔کہا:آپ نے انکا ر فر مادیا۔میں نے کہا:تو آدھا؟ آپ اس پر بھی نہ مانے،میں نے کہا: تو پھر تیسرا حصہ؟اس پر آپ خاموش ہوگئے۔اس کے بعد تیسرے حصے کی وصیت جائز ہو گئی۔ کہا: اور (ایک اور موقع بھی آیا) میں انصار اور مہاجرین کے کچھ لوگوں کے پاس آیا انھوں نے کہا:آؤ ہم تمھیں کھانا کھلا ئیں اور شراب پلا ئیں اور یہ شراب حرام کیے جا نے سے پہلے کی بات ہے۔کہا: میں کھجوروں کے ایک جھنڈکے درمیان خالی جگہ میں ان کے پاس پہنچا دیکھا تو اونٹ کا ایک بھنا ہوا سران کے پاس تھا اور شراب کی ایک مشک تھی۔میں نے ان کے ساتھ کھا یا،شراب پی، پھر ان کے ہاں انصار اور مہاجرین کا ذکر آگیا۔میں نے(شراب کی مستی میں)کہہ دیا: مہاجرین انصار سے بہتر ہیں تو ایک آدمی نے(اونٹ کا) ایک جبڑا پکڑا،اس سے مجھے ضرب لگا ئی اور میری ناک زخمی کردی،میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور آپ کو یہ (ساری)بات بتا ئی تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے میرے بارے میں۔۔۔ان کی مراد اپنے آپ سے تھی۔۔۔شراب کے متعلق (یہ آیت) نازل فر ئی:"بے شک شراب،جوا بت اور پانسے شیطان کے گندے کام ہیں۔"(مائدہ:آیت نمبر90)
Hazrat Mus'ab apne baap Sa'd (Razi Allahu Anhu) se bayan karte hain ke surat-e-hal yeh hai ke Quran Majeed mein un ke hawale se kayi ayaat nazil huin kaha: Un ki walida ne qasam khayi ke woh us waqt tak un se baat nahin karengi yahan tak ke woh apne deen (Islam) se kufr karein aur na hi kuch khayengi aur na piyengi un ka khayal yeh tha ke Allah Ta'ala ne tumhein hukum diya hai ke apne walidain ki baat mano aur main tumhari maa hun lihaza main tumhein is deen ko chor dene ka hukum deti hun. Kaha: Woh teen din isi halat mein rahin yahan tak ke kamzori se behosh ho gayin to un ka beta jo Ammarah kehlata tha khara hua aur unhein pani pilaya. (Hosh mein aa kar) unhon ne Sa'd (Razi Allahu Anhu) ko badduayein deni shuru kar din to Allah Ta'ala ne Quran mein yeh Ayat nazil farmayi: "Hum ne insaan ko us ke walidain ke saath husn-e-sulook ka hukum diya hai (Ankabut, Ayat 8) aur agar woh donon yeh koshish karein ke tum mere saath shareek thehrao jis baat ko tum (durust hi) nahin jante to tum un ki itaat na karo aur duniya mein un ke saath acche tareeqe se raho. (Surah Luqman Ayat Number 14-15) Hazrat Sa'd bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ko bahut zyada ghaneemat hasil hui. Is mein ek talwar bhi thi. Main ne woh utha li aur use le kar Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hua. Aur arz ki: (Mere hisse ke ilawa) yeh talwar mazeed mujhe de dein, meri halat ka to Aap ko ilm hai hi Aap ne farmaya: "Use wahin rakh do jahan se tum ne uthayi hai." Main chala gaya jab main ne use maqbooza ghanaim mein wapas phenkna chaha to mere dil ne mujhe malamat ki (ke wapas kyon kar rahe ho?) To main Aap ke paas wapas aa gaya. Main ne kaha: Yeh mujhe ata kar dijiye, Aap ne mere liye apni awaz ko sakht kiya aur farmaya: "Jahan se uthayi hai wahin wapas rakh do." Kaha: Is par Allah Azzawajal ne yeh nazil farmaya: "Yeh log Aap se ghaneematon ke bare mein sawal karte hain. (Surah Anfal Ayat Number 1) Hazrat Sa'd (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, main beemar ho gaya. Main ne Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ki taraf paigham bheja. Aap mere paas tashreef le aaye. Main ne kaha: Mujhe ijazat dijiye ke main apna (sara) maal jahan chahoon taqseem kar doon. Kaha: Aap ne inkar farma diya. Main ne kaha: To aadha? Aap is par bhi na mane, main ne kaha: To phir teesra hissa? Is par Aap khamosh ho gaye. Is ke baad teesre hisse ki wasiyat jaiz ho gayi. Kaha: Aur (ek aur mauqa bhi aaya) main Ansar aur Muhajireen ke kuch logon ke paas aaya unhon ne kaha: Aao hum tumhein khana khilayein aur sharab pilayein aur yeh sharab haram kiye jaane se pehle ki baat hai. Kaha: Main khajuron ke ek jhund ke darmiyan khali jagah mein un ke paas pahuncha dekha to oonth ka ek bhuna hua sar un ke paas tha aur sharab ki ek mashk thi. Main ne un ke saath khaya, sharab pi, phir un ke haan Ansar aur Muhajireen ka zikr aa gaya. Main ne (sharab ki masti mein) keh diya: Muhajireen Ansar se behtar hain to ek aadmi ne (oonth ka) ek jabra pakra, us se mujhe zarb lagayi aur meri naak zakhmi kar di, main Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ke paas aaya aur Aap ko yeh (sari) baat batayi to Allah Ta'ala ne mere bare mein...un ki muraad apne aap se thi...sharab ke mutaliq (yeh Ayat) nazil farmayi: "Be shak sharab, juwa aur paanse Shaitan ke gande kaam hain." (Ma'idah: Ayat Number 90)
