Mention of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), and their interval with Noah, Hud, and Salih (peace be upon them)
ذكر حضرة إبراهيم خليل الله عليه السلام وبينهم وبين حضرة نوح وهود وصالح عليهم السلام
Mustadrak Al Hakim 4016
Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his hand on my head and said: “This child will live for a hundred years." So he ( Abdullah bin Busr) lived for a hundred years. Waqidi says that Allah Almighty has said:
"And many generations between them." (Al-Furqan: 38) (Translation: Kanz-ul-Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan)
And there are ten centuries between Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) and Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) and there are ten centuries between Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) and Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him). Thus, Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) was born two thousand years after the creation of Prophet Adam (peace be upon him).
" حضرت عبداللہ بن بسر رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنا ہاتھ میرے سر پر رکھا اور فرمایا : یہ بچہ ایک سو سال تک جئے گا ۔ چنانچہ آپ کی عمر ایک سو سال ہوئی ۔ واقدی کا کہنا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا :
وَ قُرُوْنًا بَیْنَ ذٰلِکَ کَثِیْرًا ( الفرقان : 38 )
’’ اور ان کے بیچ میں بہت سی سنگتیں ‘‘ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ )
اور حضرت نوح علیہ السلام اور آدم علیہ السلام کے درمیان دس صدیاں ہیں اور نوح علیہ السلام اور ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے درمیان دس صدیاں ہیں چنانچہ آدم علیہ السلام کی تخلیق کے دو ہزار سال بعد حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام پیدا ہوئے ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Busr Radi Allaho Anhu farmate hain : Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne apna hath mere sar par rakha aur farmaya : yeh bachcha ek sau saal tak jiye ga . Chunancha aap ki umar ek sau saal hui . Waqidi ka kehna hai ki Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya :
Wa Quroona Bayna Zalika Kaseera ( Al-Furqan : 38 )
'' Aur in ke beech mein bohat si sangtian '' ( Tarjuma Kanzul Iman , Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih )
Aur Hazrat Nooh Alaihis Salam aur Adam Alaihis Salam ke darmiyan das sadiyan hain aur Nooh Alaihis Salam aur Ibrahim Alaihis Salam ke darmiyan das sadiyan hain chunancha Adam Alaihis Salam ki takhleeq ke do hazar saal baad Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis Salam paida hue .
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “People will say: ‘O Abraham! You are Allah’s Khalil (close friend). The tales of your friendship are (famous) in the heavens and the earth.’"
**(This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, but Sheikhain (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.)**
" حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : لوگ کہیں گے : اے ابراہیم ! آپ اللہ کے خلیل ہیں ، آپ کی خلت کا چرچا آسمانوں میں اور زمینوں میں ہے ۔
٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Log kahenge: Aye Ibrahim! Aap Allah ke khalil hain, aap ki khilt ka charcha aasmanon mein aur zameenon mein hai. ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain Rahmatullah Alaih ne ise naqal nahin kiya.
It is narrated on the authority of Jundub that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said before his death: Allah Almighty has made me His Khalil (friend) just as He made Ibrahim (Abraham) (peace be upon him) His Khalil.
** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them) did not narrate it.
" حضرت جندب سے مروی ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے اپنی وفات سے پہلے ارشاد فرمایا : اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھے اپنا خلیل بنایا ہے جیسا کہ حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کو خلیل بنایا ہے ۔
٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Jundab se marvi hai keh Nabi Akram SAW ne apni wafaat se pehle irshad farmaya : Allah Ta'ala ne mujhe apna khalil banaya hai jaisa keh Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam ko khalil banaya hai . ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Shaikhain rehmatullah alaihima ne ise naqal nahin kiya .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw pictures in the Kaaba, he stopped at the entrance. He ordered them to be erased, so they were erased. He saw that Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) and Prophet Ismail (peace be upon him) were holding arrows (for divination). He said, “May Allah destroy them! By Allah, they never practiced divination."
** This hadith is considered sahih (authentic) by Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him).
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : جب نبی اکرم ﷺ نے بیت اللہ میں تصویریں دیکھیں تو اندر داخل ہونے سے رک گئے ۔ آپ نے ان کو مٹانے کا حکم دیا تو وہ مٹا دی گئیں ۔ آپ نے دیکھا کہ حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام اور حضرت اسماعیل علیہ السلام کے ہاتھ میں پانسے پکڑے ہوئے تھے ۔ آپ نے فرمایا : اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو ہلاک کرے ، خدا کی قسم ! انہوں نے کبھی بھی پانسے نہیں ڈالے ۔
٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے نزدیک صحیح ہے ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain : Jab Nabi Akram ﷺ ne Baitullah mein tasveerein dekheen to andar dakhil hone se ruk gaye . Aap ne un ko mitane ka hukum diya to woh mita di gayin . Aap ne dekha keh Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam aur Hazrat Ismail Alaihissalam ke hath mein panse pakre hue the . Aap ne farmaya : Allah Ta'ala un ko halaak kare , Khuda ki qasam ! Inhon ne kabhi bhi panse nahin dale .
** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih ke qareeb sahih hai .
Muhammad bin Ishaq has described the lineage of Prophet Abraham, the friend of Allah Almighty, His chosen one, as follows: “Ibrahim son of Aazar son of Nahor son of Serug son of Reu son of Peleg son of Eber son of Shelah son of Arpachshad son of Shem son of Noah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.”
" محمد بن اسحاق نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے خلیل علیہ السلام ، اس کے صفی اور اس کے نبی حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کا نسب یوں بیان کیا ہے :
’’ اِبْرَاھِیْمُ بْنُ اٰزَرَ بْنِ مَاجُوْرَ بْنِ سَارُوْحٍ بْنِ رَاعُوْ بْنِ مَالِحٍ بْنِ عَابِرٍ بْنِ سَالِخٍ بْنِ اَرْفَخْشَدَ بْنِ سَامٍ بْنِ نُوْحٍ صَلَوَاتُ اللّٰہِ عَلَیْہ ۔‘‘"
Muhammad bin Ishaq ne Allah taala ke khalil alaihissalam, iske safi aur iske nabi Hazrat Ibrahim alaihissalam ka nasab yun bayan kya hai:
"Ibraheem bin Aazar bin Majoor bin Sarooh bin Rao bin Malih bin Abir bin Salikh bin Arfakhshad bin Sam bin Nooh Salawatullahi alaih"
Abu Umama (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A hand appeared from the sky, with white hair between its fingers. It approached the head of Ibrahim (Abraham) and came very close. It placed those hairs on his head and said: “This is the whiteness of dignity.” Then Allah Almighty revealed to him the command of circumcision. Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was the first person to be circumcised in old age. Allah Almighty revealed some verses to Ibrahim (peace be upon him) that were also revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the Holy Quran. One of those verses is:
“The repentant, the worshippers, the praisers [of Allah], the travelers (for religion), those who bow down [in prayer], those who prostrate themselves [in prayer], those who enjoin good and forbid evil, and those who observe the limits [set by] Allah. And give good tidings to the believers." (Quran 9:112)
And from Surah Al-Muminun, the verse: "Indeed, successful are the believers…" to "…who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally." And from Surah Al-Ahzab, the entire verse: "Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women..." And from Surah Al-Ma'arij, the portion from the verse: "Those who are constant in their prayer…" to "…and those who strictly guard their trusts…" These were specifically revealed for Ibrahim (peace be upon him).
" حضرت ابوامامہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : آسمان سے ایک ہاتھ نمودار ہوا ، اس کی انگلیوں کے درمیان سفید بال تھے ، وہ حضرت ابراہیم کے سر کے قریب آنے لگا پھر وہ بالکل قریب آ گیا ۔ اس نے وہ بال آپ کے سر میں ڈال دیا اور کہا : یہ عزت کی سفیدی ہے ۔ پھر اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کی طرف طہارت اختیار کرنے کی وحی فرمائی ۔ حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام سب سے پہلے شخص ہیں جنہوں نے جوانی میں ختنہ کیا اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام پر ان آیات میں سے بھی کچھ نازل فرمائی ہیں ، جو محمد ﷺ پر قرآن کریم میں نازل کی گئیں ۔ ان میں سے ایک آیت یہ تھی :
اَلتَّآئِبُوْنَ الْعٰبِدُوْنَ الْحٰمِدُوْنَ السَّآئِحُوْنَ الرّٰکِعُوْنَ السّٰجِدُوْنَ الْاٰمِرُوْنَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَ النَّاھُوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْکَرِ وَ الْحٰفِظُوْنَ لِحُدُوْدِ اللّٰہِ وَ بَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ ( التوبۃ : 112 )
’’ توبہ والے ، عبادت والے ، سراہنے والے ، روزے والے ، رکوع والے ، سجدے والے ، بھلائی کے بتانے والے ، اور برائی سے روکنے والے اور اللہ کی حدیں نگاہ رکھنے والے اور خوشی سناؤ مسلمانوں کو ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ )
اور سورۃ مومنون کی آیت قَدْ اَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ سے الَّذِیْنَ یَرِثُوْنَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ ھُمْ فِیْھَا خٰلِدُوْنَ تک ۔ اور سورۃ احزاب کی آیت : إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ پوری آیت ۔ اور سورۃ المعارج کی آیات الَّذِیْنَ ھُمْ عَلٰی صَلَاتِھِمْ دَآئِمُوْنَ سے وَ الَّذِیْنَ ھُمْ بِشَھٰدٰتِھِمْ قَآئِمُوْنَ یہ حصے ، صرف حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے حصے میں آیا ۔"
Hazrat Abu Umama (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain: Aasman se ek hath numaydar hua, uski ungliyon ke darmiyan safed baal the, woh Hazrat Ibrahim ke sar ke qareeb aane laga phir woh bilkul qareeb aa gaya. Usne woh baal aap ke sar mein daal diya aur kaha: Yeh izzat ki safedi hai. Phir Allah Ta'ala ne unki taraf taharat ikhtiyar karne ki wahi farmai. Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam sabse pehle shakhs hain jinhone jawani mein khatna kiya aur Allah Ta'ala ne Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam par in aayaton mein se bhi kuch nazil farmai hain, jo Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) par Quran Kareem mein nazil ki gayin. In mein se ek ayat yeh thi:
Attaaiboonal abodeenal hamidoonas saa'ihoonar raaki'oonas saajidoonal amiroona bil ma'roofi wan naahoon anil munkari wal hafizhoona li hudoodil laahi wa bash shiril mumineen (Al-Tawbah: 112)
''Tauba wale, ibadat wale, saraahne wale, rozedaar, ruku karne wale, sajda karne wale, bhalaayi ke batane wale, aur buraayi se rokne wale aur Allah ki hadein nigah rakhne wale aur khushi sunao Musalmanon ko''. (Tarjuma Kanzul Imaan, Imam Ahmad Raza Rehmatullah Alaih)
Aur Surah Al-Muminoon ki ayat Qad aflahal muminoon se allazeena yarisoonal firdausahum feeha khalidoon tak. Aur Surah Al-Ahzab ki ayat: Innal muslimeena wal muslimat puri ayat. Aur Surah Al-Ma'arij ki aayaton Allazeena hum 'alaa salatihim daaimoon se Wallazeena hum bishahadatihim qaaimoon yeh hisse, sirf Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam ke hisse mein aaya.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Ibrahim (peace be upon him) got himself circumcised at the age of 120 years, while he passed away at the age of 200 years.
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے 120 سال کی عمر میں اپنا ختنہ کیا جبکہ آپ کی وفات 200 سال کی عمر میں ہوئی ۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis Salam ne 120 saal ki umar mein apna khatna kiya jabke aap ki wafat 200 saal ki umar mein hui ..
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Ibrahim (peace be upon him) got circumcised at the age of 120 years and then lived for another 80 years.
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے 120 سال کے بعد ختنہ کیا پھر اس کے بعد آپ 80 سال تک زندہ رہے ۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam ne 120 saal ke baad khatna kiya phir uske baad aap 80 saal tak zinda rahe .
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was commanded to build the Kaaba, Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) and Hazrat Hajra (may Allah be pleased with her) accompanied him. When they reached Makkah, he saw a cloud-like formation above the site of the Kaaba, with something resembling a head in it. A voice came from it: "O Ibrahim! Build the structure under my shadow or according to the extent of my shadow, and do not make it less or more." When he finished the construction, he came out and left Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) and Hazrat Hajra (may Allah be pleased with her) there. Regarding this, Allah Almighty has said:
﴾22:26﴿ And ˹remember˺ when We showed Abraham the site of the House ˹and commanded him˺, “Do not associate anything with Me ˹in worship˺. And purify My House for those who perform Tawaf, those who stand ˹in prayer˺, and those who bow and prostrate.”
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.
" حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : جب حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کو بیت اللہ کی تعمیر کا حکم دیا گیا تو ان کے ہمراہ حضرت اسماعیل علیہ السلام اور حضرت ہاجرہ رضی اللہ عنہا بھی نکلے ۔ جب آپ مکۃ المکرمہ پہنچے تو آپ نے بیت اللہ کے مقام پر اپنے سر کے اوپر کی جانب ایک بادل سا دیکھا ، اس میں سر کی سی کوئی چیز تھی ۔ اس سے آواز آئی : اے ابراہیم ! میرے سائے پر یا میرے سائے کی مقدار میں عمارت بنائیں اور اس سے کم یا زیادہ مت کرنا ۔ جب آپ نے تعمیر مکمل کر لی تو وہاں سے باہر نکل آئے اور حضرت اسماعیل علیہ السلام اور حضرت ہاجرہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو وہیں چھوڑ دیا ۔ اسی کے متعلق اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا ہے :
وَإِذْ بَوَّأْنَا لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ مَكَانَ الْبَيْتِ أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا وَطَهِّرْ بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْقَائِمِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ ( الحج : 26 )
’’ اور جب کہ ہم نے ابراہیم کو اس گھر کا ٹھکانا ٹھیک بتا دیا اور حکم دیا کہ میرا کوئی شریک نہ کر اور میرا گھر ستھرا رکھ طواف والوں اور اعتکاف والوں اور رکوع سجدے والوں کے لیے ‘‘ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ )
٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu farmate hain: Jab Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam ko Baitullah ki tameer ka hukum diya gaya to un ke hamrah Hazrat Ismail Alaihissalam aur Hazrat Hajra Raziallahu Anha bhi nikle. Jab aap Makkah Mukarramah pahunche to aap ne Baitullah ke maqam par apne sar ke upar ki jaanib ek badal sa dekha, is mein sar ki si koi cheez thi. Is se aawaz aai: Aye Ibrahim! Mere saaye par ya mere saaye ki miqdar mein imarat banayen aur is se kam ya ziada mat karna. Jab aap ne tameer mukammal kar li to wahan se bahar nikal aaye aur Hazrat Ismail Alaihissalam aur Hazrat Hajra Raziallahu Anha ko wahin chhor diya. Isi ke mutalliq Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya hai:
Wa-iz bawwana li-Ibrahima maqanal-bayti an la tushrik bi shayanw-wa-tahhir baytiya li-tta-ifeena wal-qaimeena war-rukka'is-sujud. (Al-Hajj: 26)
''Aur jab keh hum ne Ibrahim ko is ghar ka thikana theek bata diya aur hukum diya keh mera koi sharik na kar aur mera ghar saaf rakh tawaaf walon aur itikaaf walon aur ruku sajday walon ke liye'' (Tarjuma Kanzul Imaan, Imam Ahmad Raza Rehmatullah Alaih)
** Yeh hadees sahih al-isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rehmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rehmatullah Alaih ne ise naqal nahin kiya.
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Ibrahim (peace be upon him) arrived while Ismail (peace be upon him) was building a house behind Zamzam. Ibrahim (peace be upon him) said to him: "O Ismail! Your Lord has commanded me to build (the Ka'aba)." Ismail (peace be upon him) replied: "Obey whatever your Lord has commanded you." You said: "Cooperate with me in this matter." So Ismail (peace be upon him) joined him. Ibrahim (peace be upon him) started the construction, and Ismail (peace be upon him) was handing him stones. Both of them were supplicating:
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ السَّمِیْعُ الْعَلِیْمُ ( البقرۃ : 127 )
"Our Lord, accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower." (Al-Baqarah 2:127) (Translation: Kanz-ul-Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan)
** This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on them both), but it is not narrated by the two Sheikhs (Bukhari and Muslim).
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام تشریف لائے ، اس وقت حضرت اسماعیل علیہ السلام زم زم کے پیچھے مکان بنا رہے تھے ۔ حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے ان سے فرمایا : اے اسماعیل ! تیرے رب نے مجھے ( بیت اللہ ) بنانے کا حکم دیا ہے ۔ حضرت اسماعیل نے جواباً کہا : اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو جو حکم دیا ہے ، آپ اس کی تعمیل فرمائیں ۔ آپ نے فرمایا : اس سلسلہ میں تم میرے ساتھ تعاون کرو ۔ چنانچہ حضرت اسماعیل علیہ السلام بھی آپ کے ہمراہ ہو لئے ۔ تو حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے تعمیر شروع کر دی اور حضرت اسماعیل علیہ السلام ان کو پتھر اٹھا اٹھا کر دے رہے تھے اور دونوں یہ دعا مانگ رہے تھے :
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ السَّمِیْعُ الْعَلِیْمُ ( البقرۃ : 127 )
’’ اے ہمارے رب ہماری طرف سے یہ ( کوشش ) قبول فرما ، بے شک تو سننے والا ہے جاننے والا ہے ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ )
٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas razi Allah anhuma farmate hain: Hazrat Ibrahim alaihissalam tashreef laye, us waqt Hazrat Ismail alaihissalam Zamzam ke peeche makan bana rahe the. Hazrat Ibrahim alaihissalam ne unse farmaya: Aye Ismail! Tere Rab ne mujhe (Baitullah) banane ka hukum diya hai. Hazrat Ismail ne jawaban kaha: Allah Ta'ala ne aapko jo hukum diya hai, aap uski ta'mil farmaen. Aap ne farmaya: Is silsila mein tum mere saath ta'awun karo. Chunancha Hazrat Ismail alaihissalam bhi aapke hamrah ho liye. To Hazrat Ibrahim alaihissalam ne tameer shuru kar di aur Hazrat Ismail alaihissalam unko pathar utha utha kar de rahe the aur donon ye dua maang rahe the:
Rabbana taqabbal minna innaka antas Sameeaul Aleem (Al-Baqarah: 127)
"Aye hamare Rab hamari taraf se ye (koshish) qubool farma, beshak tu sun-ne wala hai jaan-ne wala hai". (Tarjuma Kanzul Imaan, Imam Ahmad Raza rehmatullah alaih)
** Ye hadees Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain rehmatullah alaihima ne ise naql nahin kiya.
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When Ibrahim (peace be upon him) completed the construction of the Kaaba, Allah Almighty revealed to him to announce Hajj among the people. So Ibrahim (peace be upon him) announced: Beware! Your Lord has built a house and has commanded you to perform its Hajj. So every tree, stone, hill or mound of earth that heard his voice replied, "Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik."
** This hadith has a Sahih (authentic) chain of narrators but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : جب حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے بیت اللہ کی تعمیر مکمل کر لی تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کی جانب وحی فرمائی کہ لوگوں میں حج کا اعلان فرما دیجئے ۔ تو حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے یوں اعلان فرمایا : خبردار ! تمہارے رب نے گھر بنایا ہے اور تمہیں حکم دیا ہے کہ تم اس کا حج کرو ۔ تو جس جس درخت ، پتھر ، یا ٹیلے یا مٹی نے آپ کی آواز سنی سب نے جواباً کہا :’’ لَبَّیْکَ اَللّٰھُمَّ لَبَّیْکَ ‘‘۔
٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma farmate hain : Jab Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam ne Baitullah ki tameer mukammal kar li to Allah Ta'ala ne un ki janib wahi farmaayi ki logon mein Hajj ka elan farma dijiye . To Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam ne yun elan farmaya : Khabar dar ! tumhare rab ne ghar banaya hai aur tumhen hukm diya hai ki tum is ka Hajj karo . To jis jis darakht , pathar , ya teile ya mitti ne aap ki aawaz suni sab ne jawaban kaha :’’ Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik ‘‘.
** Yeh hadees sahih al asnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ne ise naqal nahin kiya .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Islam has 30 parts, and among all those who were tested in this religion, only Ibrahim (Abraham, peace be upon him) fulfilled all of them. Allah Almighty said: "And Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (all the commandments)" (Translation: Kanz-ul-Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan). So, Allah Almighty granted him salvation from the fire.
** This hadith has a sound chain of narrators but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : اسلام کے 30 حصے ہیں اور اس دین میں جس جس کو بھی آزمایا گیا ، ان میں سے صرف حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام مکمل طور پر پورا اترے ہیں ، اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا :
وَ اِبْرَاھِیْمَ الَّذِیْ وَفّٰی
’’ اور ابراہیم کے جو پورے احکام بجا لایا ۔‘‘ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ )
تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے لئے آگ سے برأت لکھ دی ۔
٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma farmate hain: Islam ke 30 hisse hain aur is Deen mein jis jis ko bhi azmaya gaya, un mein se sirf Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis Salam mukammal tor par pura utre hain, Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya: Wa Ibrahima allzi waffa. Aur Ibrahim ke jo pure ahkam baja laya. (Tarjuma Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih) To Allah Ta'ala ne un ke liye aag se bar'aat likh di. ** Yeh hadees Sahih al-Isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ne ise naqal nahin kiya.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man was praying for the forgiveness of his polytheist parents. I said to him: You are praying for their forgiveness, although they were polytheists. He said: Hadrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) also prayed for the forgiveness of his parents. I mentioned this matter in the court of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so Allah Almighty revealed this verse: “And Abraham’s asking forgiveness for his father was only because of a promise he had made with him.” (Surah At-Tawbah: 114) (Translation Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi)
" حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : ایک آدمی اپنے مشرک والدین کے لئے دعائے مغفرت کر رہا تھا ۔ میں نے اس سے کہا : تو ان کے لئے دعائے مغفرت کر رہا ہے حالانکہ وہ مشرک تھے ۔ اس نے کہا : حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے بھی تو اپنے والدین کے لئے دعائے مغفرت کی تھی ۔ میں نے یہ بات رسول اللہ ﷺ کی بارگاہ میں عرض کی تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی :
وَ مَا کَانَ اسْتِغْفَارُ اِبْرَاھِیْمَ لِاَبِیْہِ اِلَّا عَنْ مَّوْعِدَۃٍ وَّعَدَھَآ اِیَّاہُ ( التوبۃ : 114 )
’’ اور ابراہیم کا اپنے باپ کی بخشش چاہنا وہ تو نہ تھا مگر ایک وعدے کے سبب جو اس سے کر چکا تھا ‘‘ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ )"
Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : Ek aadmi apne mushrik waldain ke liye dua e magfirat kar raha tha . Maine us se kaha : Tu in ke liye dua e magfirat kar raha hai halanke woh mushrik thay . Usne kaha : Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam ne bhi to apne waldain ke liye dua e magfirat ki thi . Maine ye baat Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki bargah mein arz ki to Allah Ta'ala ne ye ayat nazil farmaai :
Wa ma kana istigfaru Ibrahima li abihi illa an maw'idatin wa'adaha iyyahu (Al-Tawbah 114)
'’Aur Ibrahim ka apne baap ki bakhshish chahna woh to na tha magar ek waade ke sabab jo us se kar chuka tha '' (Tarjuma Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih)
