Chapter on Leaving Congregation Due to Rain or at Night Due to Wind or Cold with Darkness
باب ترك الجماعة بعذر المطر وفي الليل بعذر الريح أو البرد مع الظلمة
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5017
Nafi' narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Adhan (call to prayer) was called for prayer on a windy and cold night, and he said: "Pray in your homes." Then he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to command the Mu'adh-dhin (caller to prayer) that when the night was cold and rainy, he should say: "Pray in your homes."

(٥٠١٧) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ہوا اور سرد رات میں نماز کے لیے اذان دی گئی اور اس نے کہا : خبردار تم اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھ لو۔ پھر کہا : رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مؤذن کو حکم دیتے تھے کہ جب رات سرد اور بارش والی ہو تو وہ کہہ دیا کرے کہ تم اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھ لو۔
(5017) Nafe Ibn Umar (RA) se naqal farmate hain ke hawa aur sard raat mein namaz ke liye azan di gai aur usne kaha: KhabarDar tum apne gharon mein namaz parh lo. Phir kaha: Rasool Allah (SAW) Moazzan ko hukum dete the ke jab raat sard aur barish wali ho to wo keh diya kare ke tum apne gharon mein namaz parh lo.
Nafi' narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he gave the call to prayer on a cold and windy night. Then, at the end of his call to prayer, he said: "Ala sallu fi rihalikum, ala sallu fir rihal." This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded the mu'azzin (one who gives the call to prayer) that when the night was cold or rainy or windy during a journey, he should say: "Ala sallu fir rihal" - "Pray in your homes."

(٥٠١٨) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے ہوا والی اور سرد رات میں اذان دی ، پھر اپنی اذان کے آخر میں کہا : ” أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِی رِحَالِکُمْ ، أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِی الرِّحَالِ “ کیونکہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مؤذن کو حکم دیتے تھے کہ جب رات سرد یا بارش والی یا سفر میں ہوا والی ہو تو وہ کہہ دے : ( (أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِی الرِّحَالِ ) ) خبردار ! تم اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھ لو۔
(5018) Nafi ibn Umar (RA) se naqal farmate hain ke unhon ne hawa wali aur sard raat mein azaan di, phir apni azaan ke akhir mein kaha: “Alaa saloo fee rihaalikum, alaa saloo fee alrrihaali“ kyunki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Muazzin ko hukum dete the ke jab raat sard ya barish wali ya safar mein hawa wali ho to wo kah de: ((Alaa saloo fee alrrihaali)) Khabaradar! Tum apne gharon mein namaz parh lo.
Nafi' narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that when he would give the call to prayer on a cold, rainy, and windy night, he would say at the end of the call to prayer, "Pray in your homes." He then said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would order the mu'adhdhin (caller to prayer) when traveling on a cold or rainy night to say, "(Pray in your homes)."

(٥٠١٩) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ جب وہ سرد اور بارش اور ہوا والی رات میں نماز کے لیے اذان کہتے تو اذان کے آخر میں کہتے : ” الاصلوا فی الرحال “ تم اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھ لو۔ پھر فرماتے : رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مؤذن کو حکم دیتے تھے کہ سفر میں جب رات سرد یا بارش والی ہو تو وہ کہے : ( (أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِی رِحَالِکُمْ ) ) تم اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھ لو۔
5019 Nafi ibn Umar (RA) se naqal farmate hain ki jab woh sard aur barish aur hawa wali raat mein namaz ke liye azan kehte to azan ke akhir mein kehte : "alas saloo fil rihal" tum apne gharon mein namaz parh lo. Phir farmate : Rasul Allah (SAW) muazzin ko hukm dete the ki safar mein jab raat sard ya barish wali ho to woh kahe : ((alas saloo fee rihalikum)) tum apne gharon mein namaz parh lo.
Nafi' ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say to the Mu'adh-dhin (the one who gives the call to prayer), on a dark and windy night, or on a cold or rainy night, during a journey, "Announce: 'Pray in your lodgings.'"

(٥٠٢٠) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سفر میں اندھیری اور ہوا والی، ٹھنڈی یا باشر والی رات اذان دینے والے کو فرما دیتے تھے کہ وہ کہہ دے : ( (أَنْ صَلُّوا فِی رِحَالِکُمْ ) )
(5020) Nafi ibn Umar (RA) se naql farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) safar mein andheri aur hawa wali, thandi ya bashar wali raat azan dene wale ko farma dete the ke woh keh de: ((An Sallu Fee Rihalikum)).
(5021) It is narrated on the authority of Nafi' from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the mu'adhdhin of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say these words in Madinah on a rainy night and a cold morning.

(٥٠٢١) نافع ابن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا مؤذن مدینہ میں بارش والی رات اور سرد صبح میں ان الفاظ کو کہتا تھا۔
(5021) Nafe ibn Umar (RA) se naql farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ka muazzin Madinah mein baarish wali raat aur sard subah mein in alfaz ko kehta tha.
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that we were on a journey with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It rained, so he (the Prophet) said: "Whoever wishes to pray in his home, let him do so."

(٥٠٢٢) جابر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ ایک سفر میں نکلے تو بارش ہوگئی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو اپنے گھر نماز پڑھنا چاہتا ہو پڑھ لے۔
(5022) Jabir (RA) farmate hain ki hum Rasool Allah (SAW) ke sath ek safar mein nikle to barish hogayi. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya : jo apne ghar namaz parhna chahta ho parh le.
Abu Malih narrated from his father that we were at the place of Hudaibiyah when it rained. Our shoes had not even become wet when the announcer (Muezzin) of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) announced: "Pray in your homes."

(٥٠٢٣) ابو ملیح اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم حدیبیہ کے مقام پر تھے کہ بارش ہوگئی اور ابھی ہمارے جوتوں کے تلوے بھی تر نہیں ہوئے تھے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے مؤذن نے اعلان کردیا۔ ” صلوا فی رحالکم “ کہ تم اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھ لو۔
(5023) Abu Malih apne walid se naql farmate hain ki hum Hudaibiya ke maqam par thay ki barish hogayi aur abhi hamare joton ke talwe bhi tar nahin huye thay ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke muazzin ne elaan kardiya. "Saloo fi rihaalikum" ki tum apne gharon mein namaz parh lo.
Abu Malih reported on the authority of his father that they were with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and it rained slightly. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)'s mu'adhdhin pronounced adhan for prayer and they were on a journey, so he (the Holy Prophet) said: He who intends to say prayer in his house may do so.

(٥٠٢٤) ابو ملیح اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ تھے تو ہلکی ہلکی بارش شروع ہوگئی، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے مؤذن نے اعلان کردیا اور ہم سفر میں تھے کہ جو چاہے اپنے گھر میں نماز پڑھ لے۔
(5024) Abu Malih apne walid se naql farmate hain ki hum Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath the to halki halki barish shuru hogayi, Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke muazzin ne elan kardiya aur hum safar mein the ki jo chahe apne ghar mein namaz padh le.
Mahmud bin Rabia Ansari narrated that Itban bin Malik (RA), who used to lead his people in prayer and was blind, said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): "O Messenger of Allah! Sometimes it is dark and there are floods and I am a blind man. Please pray in my house at a place I can specify so that I can mark it as a place of prayer." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to his house and asked: "Where do you like me to pray?" He pointed out a place and the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed there.

(٥٠٢٥) محمود بن ربیع انصاری فرماتے ہیں کہ عتبان بن مالک (رض) اپنی قوم کی امامت کرواتے تھے اور وہ نابینا تھے۔ انھوں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! اندھیرا اور سیلاب ہوتا ہے اور میں نابینا آدمی ہوں، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) میرے گھر نماز پڑھ دیں، میں اس جگہ کو جائے نماز بنا لوں گا۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) آئے اور فرمایا : تجھے کہاں پسند ہے کہ میں وہاں نماز پڑھوں۔ انھوں نے ایک جگہ کی طرف اشارہ کیا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے وہاں نماز پڑھی۔
(5025) Mahmud bin Rabia Ansari farmate hain ke Utban bin Malik (RA) apni qaum ki imamat karwate the aur wo nabina the. Unhon ne Rasool Allah (SAW) se kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Andhera aur selab hota hai aur main nabina aadmi hun, aap (SAW) mere ghar namaz parh dain, main is jagah ko jaye namaz bana lunga. Rasool Allah (SAW) aaye aur farmaya: Tujhe kahan pasand hai ke main wahan namaz parhun. Unhon ne ek jagah ki taraf ishara kiya, aap (SAW) ne wahan namaz parhi.
