Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 1893
(1893) It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned from the Battle of Khyber... It contains: Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was ordered, so he pronounced the call to prayer (Iqamah) and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led them in the morning prayer.

(١٨٩٣) سیدنا ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جس وقت غزوہ خیبر سے لوٹے ۔۔۔ اس میں ہے : پھر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے وضو کیا اور بلال (رض) نے حکم دیا تو انھوں نے نماز کی اقامت کہی اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کو صبح کی نماز پڑھائی۔
(1893) Syedna Abu Huraira (RA) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (SAW) jis waqt Ghazwa Khyber se laute... Is mein hai: Phir Rasool Allah (SAW) ne wuzu kiya aur Bilal (RA) ne hukm diya to unhon ne namaz ki iqamat kahi aur aap (SAW) ne un ko subah ki namaz parhayi.
(1894) Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (SAW) stayed (at a place) with us while returning from Khaibar. He (SAW) said, "Who will guard our prayer for us?" Bilal (RA) said, "I will." So they (the people) slept (at night) till the sun rose. The Prophet (SAW) said, "O Bilal! Did you sleep?" He said, "The one Who has captured your soul has captured mine (i.e., sleep)." The Prophet (SAW) ordered Bilal to pronounce the Adhan and pronounce the Iqamah. The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Move from this place, for heedlessness has overcome you in this place." Then the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "If anyone of you forgets the prayer, he should offer it when he remembers it." Allah Almighty has said: {And establish prayer for My remembrance}
(b) Zuhri narrated it in Muwatta from Ibn Musayyab in a mursal way. And in it, the mention of the Adhan is made. He also said that the saying of the Adhan in this story is correct and established.

(١٨٩٤) سیدنا ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہمارے ساتھ پڑاؤ ڈالا، جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) خیبر سے لوٹے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کون ہماری نماز کی حفاظت کرے گا ؟ بلال (رض) نے کہا : میں، (رات کو) وہ سو گئے یہاں تک کہ سورج طلوع ہوگیا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے بلال ! آپ سو گئے تھے ؟ انھوں نے کہا : میری جان کو اس نے پکڑ لیا جس کو آپ کی جانوں نے پکڑا تھا (یعنی نیند نے) ۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بلال (رض) کو حکم دیا تو انھوں نے اذان دی اور اقامت کہی، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اپنی جگہ سے کوچ کرو یہاں تم کو غفلت پہنچی ہے۔ پھر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم میں سے اگر کوئی نماز بھول جائے تو جب اس کو یاد آئے وہ پڑھ لے۔ اللہ عزوجل نے فرمایا : { أَقِمِ الصَّلاَۃَ لِذِکْرِی }
(ب) مؤطا میں زہری نے ابن مسیب سے مرسلاًنقل کیا ہے اور اس میں اذان کا ذکر کیا ہے۔ نیز فرماتے ہیں کہ اس قصے میں اذان کا کہنا صحیح اور ثابت ہے۔
(1894) Syedna Abu Huraira (RA) se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne hamare sath pardaao dala, jab aap (SAW) Khaibar se lautے. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Kaun hamari namaz ki hifazat kare ga? Bilal (RA) ne kaha: Mein, (raat ko) woh so gaye yahan tak keh sooraj taloo hogaya. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Aye Bilal! Aap so gaye thay? Unhon ne kaha: Meri jaan ko us ne pakad liya jisko aap ki jaanon ne pakda tha (yani neend ne). Aap (SAW) ne Bilal (RA) ko hukum diya to unhon ne azaan di aur aqamat kahi, Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Apni jaga se کوچ karo yahan tum ko gaflat pahunchi hai. Phir Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Tum mein se agar koi namaz bhul jaye to jab us ko yaad aaye woh parh le. Allah Azzawajal ne farmaya: {Aqeemus Salaata Le Zikri}
(b) Muwatta mein Zuhri ne Ibn Musayyab se mursalan naqal kya hai aur is mein azaan ka zikar kya hai. Neez farmate hain keh is qisse mein azaan ka kehna sahih aur sabit hai.
Sayyidina Abu Qatadah narrates from his father that one night we were traveling with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Some people said: “O Messenger of Allah! If only you would stay with us for the night.” He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I am afraid that you might oversleep and miss the prayer.” Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I will wake you up.” The people stopped and lay down to rest, and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) also leaned against his mount. Sleep overcame him (Bilal). When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) woke up, the edge of the sun had risen. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “O Bilal! What about what you said?” Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “O Messenger of Allah! I have never been overcome by sleep like this before.” Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “O Bilal! Get up and announce the prayer to the people.” They performed ablution, and when the sun had risen high and become white, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and led the prayer.

(١٨٩٥) سیدنا ابی قتادہ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم ایک رات رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ چلے، بعض لوگ کہنے لگے : اے اللہ کے رسول ! کاش ! آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمارے ساتھ پڑاؤ کریں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مجھے خوف ہے کہیں کہ تم نماز سے سو نہ جاؤ، بلال (رض) نے کہا : میں آپ کو بیدار کردوں گا ، لوگوں نے پڑاؤ کیا اور آرام کے لیے لیٹ گئے اور بلال (رض) نے بھی سواری کے ساتھ ٹیک لگا لی آپ (رض) پر غالب آگئی۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب بیدار ہوئے تو سورج کا کنارہ طلوع ہوچکا تھا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے بلال ! کہاں ہے جو تو نے کہا تھا ؟ بلال (رض) نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! مجھ پر اس طرح کی نیند کبھی بھی نہیں ڈالی گئی، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے بلال ! کھڑے ہو اور لوگوں کو نماز کی اطلاع دو ، انھوں نے وضو کیا جب سورج بلند اور سفید ہوگیا تو آپ کھڑے ہوئے اور نماز پڑھائی۔
(1895) Sayyidina Abi Qatadah apne walid se naql farmate hain ki hum ek raat Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath chale, baz log kahne lage : Aye Allah ke Rasul ! Kash ! Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) hamare sath padao karen. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Mujhe khauf hai kahin ki tum namaz se so na jao, Bilal (RA) ne kaha : Main aap ko bedar kardoon ga , logon ne padao kiya aur aaram ke liye lait gaye aur Bilal (RA) ne bhi sawari ke sath teek laga li aap (RA) par ghalib agayi. Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) jab bedar huye to Suraj ka kinara tulu hochuka tha. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Aye Bilal ! kahan hai jo tu ne kaha tha ? Bilal (RA) ne kaha : Aye Allah ke Rasul ! mujh par is tarah ki neend kabhi bhi nahi dali gayi, phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Aye Bilal ! khare ho aur logon ko namaz ki ittila do , unhon ne wazu kiya jab Suraj buland aur safaid hogaya to aap khare huye aur namaz parhayi.
(1896) (a) Abdullah bin Rabah Abu Qatada narrates a lengthy hadith regarding the sleep when the sun had already risen. In it, it is mentioned that then Bilal (R.A.) gave the call to prayer (Adhan) and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs of Fajr prayer, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did as he used to do every day.
(b) It is narrated from Sulaiman that then Bilal (R.A.) gave the call to prayer.

(١٨٩٦) (الف) عبداللہ بن رباح ابو قتادہ اس نیند کے متعلق جب کہ سورج طلوع ہوچکا تھا طویل حدیث بیان فرماتے ہیں۔ اس میں ہے کہ پھر بلال (رض) نے نماز کے لیے اذان کہی اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دو رکعتیں صبح کی نماز پڑھائی، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس طرح کیا جس طرح ہر روز کیا کرتے تھے۔
(ب) سلیمان سے روایت ہے کہ پھر بلال (رض) نے نماز کے لیے اذان دی۔
(1896) (alif) Abdullah bin Rabah Abu Qatada is neend ke mutalliq jab keh sooraj taloo hochuka tha taleel hadis bayan farmate hain. Is mein hai keh phir Bilal (RA) ne namaz ke liye azaan kehi aur Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne do rak'at subah ki namaz parhi, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne is tarah kiya jis tarah har roz kiya karte thay.
(be) Sulaiman se riwayat hai keh phir Bilal (RA) ne namaz ke liye azaan di.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) - 1897 - that we were on a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrated the Hadith regarding sleeping through the prayer and said: When you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) woke up, we complained to you about what had befallen us. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There is no harm. Auf doubted whether you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had uttered words of good or harm. Then you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Break camp from here. And you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) yourself mounted and started walking, but after walking a short distance, you got down and asked for water, the people were called to prayer, then you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the people in prayer.

(١٨٩٧) سیدنا عمران بن حصین (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ہم ایک سفر میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ تھے اور انھوں نے نماز سے سو جانے کے متعلق حدیث بیان کی اور فرمایا : جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بیدار ہوئے تو ہم نے اس کی شکایت کی جو ہم کو پہنچی تھی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کوئی نقصان نہیں ہے عوف کو شک ہوا ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے خیر کے الفاظ بولے ہیں یا ضرر کے۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یہاں سے کوچ کرو اور آپ خودبھی سوار ہوئے اور چل پڑے لیکن تھوڑی دور چلنے کے بعد آپ اترے اور پانی منگوایا، لوگوں کو نماز کے لیے پکارا گیا، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی۔
(1897) Syedna Imran bin Husain (RA) se riwayat hai ki hum aik safar mein Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath thay aur unhon ne namaz se so jane ke mutalliq hadees bayaan ki aur farmaya: Jab aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) bedar huye to humne iski shikayat ki jo hum ko pohanchi thi. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Koi nuqsaan nahin hai Auf ko shak hua hai ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne khair ke alfaz bole hain ya zarar ke. Phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Yahan se کوچ karo aur aap khud bhi sawar huye aur chal pade lekin thori door chalne ke baad aap utre aur pani mangwaya, logon ko namaz ke liye pukara gaya, phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne logon ko namaz parhayi.
Narrated Imran bin Husain (RA): We were on a journey with the Prophet (ﷺ). He (ﷺ) slept over the Salat (Fajr prayer) till the sun rose. Then he (ﷺ) ordered Bilal (RA) to pronounce the Adhan and he (ﷺ) prayed two rak'ahs (Sunnah) and then waited till the sun rose up, and ordered them (his companions) to get ready for the prayer. He (ﷺ) led them in the prayer.

(١٨٩٨) سیدنا عمران بن حصین (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ہم نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ ایک سفر میں تھے کہ آپ نماز سے سو گئے، حتی کہ سورج طلوع ہوگیا، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بلال (رض) کو حکم دیا، انھوں نے اذان دی اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دو رکعتیں پڑھیں، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انتظار کیا یہاں تک کہ سورج بلند ہوگیا، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کو حکم دیا تو انھوں نے اقامت کہی اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کو نماز پڑھائی۔
(1898) Syedna Imran bin Husain (RA) se riwayat hai ki hum Nabi (SAW) ke sath ek safar mein thay ki aap namaz se so gaye, hatta ki sooraj taloo ho gaya, phir aap (SAW) ne Bilal (RA) ko hukum diya, unhon ne azan di aur aap (SAW) ne do rak'aten parhi, phir aap (SAW) ne intezar kiya yahan tak ki sooraj buland ho gaya, phir aap (SAW) ne un ko hukum diya to unhon ne iqamat kahi aur aap (SAW) ne un ko namaz parhayi.
Narrated by Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): We spent a night with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he narrated a hadith about falling asleep and missing the prayer, until the sun rose. In it is that you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), so he gave the call to prayer, then he said the iqamah.

(١٨٩٩) سیدنا ابن مسعود (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ہم ایک رات رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ چلے پھر انھوں نے نماز سے سو جانے کے متعلق حدیث بیان کی، یہاں تک کہ سورج طلوع ہوگیا۔ اس میں ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بلال (رض) کو حکم دیا، انھوں نے اذان دی، پھر اقامت کہی۔
(1899) Saidna Ibn Masood (RA) se riwayat hai ki hum aik raat Rasool Allah (SAW) ke sath chale phir unhon ne namaz se so jaane ke mutalliq hadees bayan ki, yahan tak ki sooraj taloo ho gaya. Is mein hai ki aap (SAW) ne Bilal (RA) ko hukm diya, unhon ne azan di, phir iqamat kahi.
It is narrated by Amr bin Umayyah Damri that we were on a journey with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) slept and did not offer the morning prayer until the sun rose, and neither the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) nor any of his Companions woke up. When the heat of the sun bothered them, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered to move from that place. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) to give the call to prayer. He gave the call to prayer, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered two rak'ahs of Fajr and ordered his Companions, so they also offered two rak'ahs of Fajr. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), so he recited the iqamah for prayer, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the prayer.

(١٩٠٠) عمرو بن امیہ ضمری سے روایت ہے کہ ہم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ کسی سفر میں تھے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سو گئے اور صبح کی نماز نہیں پڑھی، یہاں تک کہ سورج طلوع ہوگیا اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اور آپ کے صحابہ میں سے کوئی بھی بیدار نہیں ہوا، جب سورج کی گرمی نے ان کو تکلیف دی تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے حکم دیا کہ اس جگہ سے کوچ کر جائیں، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بلال (رض) کو حکم دیا، انھوں نے اذان دی، پھر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فجر کی دو رکعتیں پڑھی اور اپنے صحابہ کو حکم دیا، انھوں نے بھی فجر کی دو رکعتیں پڑھی، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بلال (رض) کو حکم دیا تو انھوں نے نماز کی اقامت کہی اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے نماز پڑھائی۔
(1900) Amr bin Ummaya Zamri se riwayat hai ki hum Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath kisi safar mein the ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) so gaye aur subah ki namaz nahi parhi, yahan tak ki sooraj taloo ho gaya aur Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) aur aap ke sahaba mein se koi bhi bedar nahi hua, jab sooraj ki garmi ne un ko takleef di to Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne hukum diya ki iss jagah se کوچ kar jayen, phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Bilal (Razi Allahu Anhu) ko hukum diya, unhon ne azan di, phir Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne fajar ki do rakaten parhi aur apne sahaba ko hukum diya, unhon ne bhi fajar ki do rakaten parhi, phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Bilal (Razi Allahu Anhu) ko hukum diya to unhon ne namaz ki iqamat kahi aur Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne namaz parhayi.
Hisham ibn Urwah reported from his father that Zubayr ibn al-Awwam went with 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) towards Jurf. He noticed that he had a wet dream. He said: "By Allah! I did not think that I had a wet dream, and I did not know, and I prayed without performing ghusl." Then he performed ghusl and washed what he saw on his clothes, and sprinkled water on what he did not see. Then he gave the call to prayer (adhan) and said the iqaamah. Then, after the sun had risen, he prayed calmly.

(١٩٠١) ہشام بن عروہ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ زبید بن صلت عمر بن خطاب (رض) کے ساتھ جرف کی طرف نکلے۔ انھوں نے دیکھا کہ ان کو احتلام ہوگیا ہے۔ کہنے لگے : اللہ کی قسم ! میں گمان نہیں کرتا تھا مجھے احتلام ہوگیا ہے اور مجھے معلوم بھی نہیں تھا اور میں نے بغیر غسل کیے نماز پڑھی۔ پھر انھوں نے غسل کیا اور جو اپنے کپڑوں میں دیکھا اس کو دھویا اور جو نہیں دیکھا اس پر چھینٹے مارے، پھر اذان دی اور اقامت کہی، پھر انھوں نے سورج کے بلند کے ہونے کے بعد اطمینان سے نماز ادا کی۔
(1901) Hisham bin Urwah apne walid se naqal farmate hain ke Zabeed bin Salt Umar bin Khattab (RA) ke sath Jurf ki taraf nikle. Unhon ne dekha ke un ko ehtelam hogaya hai. Kehne lage: Allah ki qasam! main guman nahin karta tha mujhe ehtelam hogaya hai aur mujhe maloom bhi nahin tha aur maine baghair ghusl kiye namaz parhi. Phir unhon ne ghusl kiya aur jo apne kapron mein dekha us ko dhoya aur jo nahin dekha us par chheente maare, phir azan di aur iqamat kahi, phir unhon ne suraj ke buland ke hone ke baad itminan se namaz ada ki.
