Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5953
(5953) (a) Taa'oos narrated that I asked Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), he mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Bathe on Friday and wash your heads, if you are not Junub, and apply perfume." Ibn Abbas said, "Bathing is good, and I do not know about perfume."
(b) Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "The meaning of 'Whoever washes (himself) and bathes' is whoever washes his head and bathes."

(٥٩٥٣) (الف) طاؤس فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) سے کہا ، انھوں نے ذکر کیا ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم جمعہ کے دن غسل کرو اور اپنے سروں کو دھویا کرو، اگر تم جنبی نہ ہو اور خوشبو لگایا کرو۔ ابن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ غسل تو اچھا ہے اور خوشبو کے بارے میں میں نہیں جانتا۔
(ب) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ” مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَل “ کا معنی ہے کہ جس نے اپنے سر کو دھویا اور غسل کیا۔
(5953) (alif) Taus farmate hain keh maine Abdullah bin Abbas (rz) se kaha, unhon ne zikar kiya hai keh Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tum Juma ke din gusl karo aur apne saron ko dhoya karo, agar tum junubi na ho aur khushbu lagaya karo. Ibn Abbas farmate hain keh gusl to acha hai aur khushbu ke bare mein mein nahin janta.
(be) Abu Hurairah (rz) farmate hain keh "Man ghas-sala wagtasala" ka mani hai keh jis ne apne sar ko dhoya aur gusl kiya.
(5954) (a) Amr bin Salim said that I went to Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him). When he (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Taking a bath on Friday is obligatory, and it should be done in a proper manner. If one has perfume, one should apply it."
(b) Amr bin Salim said: "I bear witness that bathing is obligatory, but as for using siwak and perfume, Allah knows best."

(٥٩٥٤) (الف) عمرو بن سلیم فرماتے ہیں کہ میں ابو سعید خدری (رض) کے پاس حاضر ہوا، وہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جمعہ کے دن غسل واجب ہے اور اس کو طریقہ بنایا جائے۔ اگر خوشبوپ اس ہو تو لگائے۔
(ب) عمرو بن سلیم کہتے ہیں کہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ غسل واجب ہے، لیکن مسواک اور خوشبو۔ واللہ اعلم۔
(5954) (alif) Amr bin Saleem farmate hain ke mein Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) ke paas hazir hua, woh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas aaye to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Jumma ke din gusl wajib hai aur isko tareeqa banaya jaye. Agar khushbu pas ho to lagaye.
(be) Amr bin Saleem kehte hain ke mein gawahi deta hun ke gusl wajib hai, lekin miswak aur khushbu. Wallahu a'lam.
(5955) Abdur Rahman bin Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Taking a bath on Friday is obligatory for every adult male, as well as using the Miswak and perfume for whoever can afford it.” But Bakr did not mention Abdur Rahman and said: “And perfume, even if it is a woman’s perfume.”

(٥٩٥٥) عبد الرحمن بن ابو سعید خدری (رض) اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جمعہ کے دن غسل ہر بالغ پر فرض ہے، لیکن مسواک اور خوشبو اس پر جو اس کی طاقت رکھے۔ لیکن بکیرنے عبد الرحمن کا ذکر نہیں کیا اور فرمایا : خوشبو بھی اگرچہ عورت کی ہو۔
(5955) Abdur Rahman bin Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) apne walid se naql farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Jumma ke din ghusl har baligh par farz hai, lekin miswak aur khushbu us par jo us ki taqat rakhe. Lekin Bakir ne Abdur Rahman ka zikr nahin kiya aur farmaya: Khushbu bhi agarcha aurat ki ho.
(5956) (a) Salman reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever takes a bath on Friday, purifies himself as much as he can and applies the perfume of his house, then proceeds for the prayer and does not try to separate two persons (sitting in a row) but prays as much as it is destined for him and listens to the Imam quietly, all his sins between that Friday and the next Friday will be forgiven.”
(b) Narrated Salman from the Prophet (ﷺ): “Whoever takes a bath on Friday, puts on some perfume, then goes to the mosque and does not try to separate two persons (sitting in a row for the prayer) but prays as much as it is destined for him, and remains quiet while the Imam is delivering the Khutba, his (minor) sins between that Friday and the next Friday will be forgiven.”
(c) In the narration of Shababa the words are: “He should purify himself as much as he can.”

(٥٩٥٦) (الف) سلمان فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جس نے جمعہ کے دن غسل کیا اور اپنی طاقت کے مطابق طہارت حاصل کی اور اپنے گھر کا تیل یا خوشبو لگائی۔ پھر وہ جمعہ کی طرف چلا اور جو اس کے مقدر میں تھی نماز پڑھی۔ جب امام آگیا تو غور سے خطبہ سنا اور خاموش رہاتو دوسرے جمعہ تک اس کے گناہ معاف کردیے جائیں گے۔
(ب) سلمان نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو بندہ جمعہ کے دن غسل کرتا ہے، پھر وہ تیل یا خوشبو لگاتا ہے، پھر مسجد میں آ کر دو کے درمیان تفریق نہیں ڈالتا اور دوران خطبہ خاموش رہتا ہے تو دوسرے جمعہ تک اس کے گناہ معاف کردیے جائیں گے۔
(ج) شبابہ کی حدیث کے الفاظ ہیں کہ وہ اپنی طاقت کے مطابق طہارت حاصل کرے۔
(5956) (alif) Salman farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Jis ne jumma ke din ghusl kya aur apni taqat ke mutabiq taharat hasil ki aur apne ghar ka tel ya khushbu lagai phir woh jumma ki taraf chala aur jo us ke muqaddar mein thi namaz parhi jab imam aagya to gौर se khutba suna aur khamosh raha to dusre jumma tak us ke gunah maaf kar diye jayenge. (bay) Salman Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se naql farmate hain keh aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Jo banda jumma ke din ghusl karta hai phir woh tel ya khushbu lagata hai phir masjid mein aakar do ke darmiyan tafreeq nahi dalta aur dauran khutba khamosh rehta hai to dusre jumma tak us ke gunah maaf kar diye jayenge. (jeem) Shababa ki hadees ke alfaz hain keh woh apni taqat ke mutabiq taharat hasil kare.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever takes a bath on Friday, washes his head and cleans himself, applies perfume if available, wears his best clothes, then goes for the prayer and does not push people around, then prays whatever is decreed for him and then listens attentively to the Khutbah (sermon) until he finishes, then his sins between that Friday and the next Friday will be forgiven, and even more, for three days more.”

(٥٩٥٧) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : آدمی جب جمعہ کے دن غسل کرے اور اپنا سر دھوئے۔ پھر عمدہ قسم کی خوشبو لگائے اور اچھے کپڑے پہنے۔ پھر نماز کے لیے جائے اور دو کے درمیان تفریق نہ ڈالے، پھر خطبہ غور سے سنے تو دوسرے جمعہ تک بلکہ تین دن مزید بھی اس کے گناہ معاف کردیے جائیں گے۔
Abu Huraira (Rizwan Allah Tala Anhu) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: aadmi jab jumma ke din gusul kare aur apna sar dhoye, phir umda qisam ki khushbu lagaye aur achchhe kapre pehne, phir namaz ke liye jaye aur do ke darmiyan tafreeq na dale, phir khutba gौर se sune to dusre jumma tak balki teen din mazeed bhi uske gunah maaf kar diye jayenge.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Sa'eed (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that they heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: “Whoever takes a bath on Friday, cleans his teeth with Miswak, applies perfume if available, then wears his best clothes and goes to the mosque, and does not cross over people's necks, and offers as many prayers as Allah wills, and then remains silent till the end of the prayer, his sins will be forgiven from the previous Friday to this Friday.” And Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “And three more days because Allah gives ten times the reward for one good deed.”

(٥٩٥٨) ابوہریرہ (رض) اور ابو سعید (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا : جس نے جمعہ کے دن غسل کیا ، مسواک کی اور خوشبو لگائی اگر پاس ہوئی۔ پھر عمدہ قسم کے کپڑے پہنے اور مسجد میں آیا ، پھر لوگوں کی گردنیں نہیں پھلانگی اور جتنی اللہ نے چاہی نماز پڑھی اور پھر نماز کے اختتام تک خاموش رہا تو پچھلے جمعہ سے لے کر اس جمعہ تک کے گناہ معاف کردیے جاتے ہیں اور ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں : تین دن مزید بھی کیونکہ اللہ ایک نیکی کا بدلہ دس گنا عطا فرماتے ہیں۔
Abu Huraira (RA) aur Abu Saeed (RA) farmate hain ke unhon ne Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna: Jis ne Jumma ke din gusl kiya, miswak ki aur khushbu lagayi agar pass hui, phir umda qisam ke kapde pehne aur masjid mein aaya, phir logon ki gardanein nahin phallangi aur jitni Allah ne chahi namaz parhi aur phir namaz ke ikhtitam tak khamosh raha to pichhle Jumma se lekar is Jumma tak ke gunah maaf kar diye jate hain aur Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain: Teen din mazeed bhi kyunki Allah ek neki ka badla das guna ata farmate hain.
Ibn Sibbaq narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O assembly of Muslims! Allah has made this day (Friday) a day of Eid for the Muslims, so take a bath, and whoever has perfume should apply it, and use the Miswak."
Grade: Da'if
(٥٩٥٩) ابن سباق فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے مسلمانو کا گروہ ! اللہ نے اس دن (جمعہ) کو مسلمانوں کی عید بنایا ہے، لہٰذا تم غسل کرو اور جس کے پاس خوشبو ہو وہ لگالے اور مسواک کو لازم پکڑو۔
(5959) ibne sabaq farmate hain keh nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : aye musalmano ka giroh ! allah ne is din (jumma) ko musalmanon ki eid banaya hai, lihaza tum ghusl karo aur jis ke pass khushbu ho woh lagale aur miswak ko lazim pakro.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said on a Friday, "O Muslims! Allah has made this day a day of Eid for you, so take a bath on this day and use siwak."

(٥٩٦٠) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے کسی جمعہ فرمایا : مسلمانو ! اللہ نے تمہارے لیے یہ دن عید مقرر کیا ہے، اس دن غسل کیا کرو اور مسواک کو اپنے اوپر لازم کرلو۔
Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne kisi juma farmaya: Musalmano! Allah ne tumhare liye yeh din eid muqarrar kiya hai, is din gusl kiya karo aur miswak ko apne upar lazim karlo.
Nafi' narrated that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "These actions are from the Fitrah (natural disposition): trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, and shaving the pubic hair."

(٥٩٦٢) نافع عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یہ اعمال فطرت میں سے ہیں : مونچھیں کاٹنا، ناخن تراشنا اور زیر ناف بال مونڈنا۔
(5962) Nafi Abdullah bin Umar (RA) se naqal farmate hain ki Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Ye amal fitrat mein se hain: munchhen katna, nakhun tarashna aur zer naf baal mundna.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Five things are part of the Fitrah (natural disposition): circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, clipping the mustache, trimming the nails, and plucking the armpit hair."

(٥٩٦٣) ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : پانچ چیزیں فطرت میں سے ہیں : ختنہ کرنا، زیر ناف بال مونڈنا ‘ مونچھیں کاٹنا ‘ ناخن تراشنا اور بغلوں کے بال اکھاڑنا۔
Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Panch cheezain fitrat mein se hain: Khatna karna, zer naaf baal mundna, moochein kaatna, nakhun tarashna aur baghlon ke baal ukaadna.
(5964) (a) Nafi' narrates that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to cut his nails and trim his mustache every Friday.
(b) It is narrated from Abu Ja'far that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) liked to trim his mustache and cut his nails every Friday.

(٥٩٦٤) (الف) نافع فرماتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) ہر جمعہ ناخن تراشتے اور مونچھیں کاٹتے تھے۔
(ب) ابو جعفر سے مرسل روایت منقول ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پسند فرماتے تھے کہ ہر جمعہ مونچھیں اور ناخن کاٹے جائیں۔
(5964) (alif) naafe farmate hain keh Abdullah bin Umar (rz) har jumma nakhun tarashte aur moochen katte thay
(be) abu jaafar se mursal riwayat manqol hai keh rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) pasand farmate thay keh har jumma moochen aur nakhun kaate jayen
(5965) (a) Mu'awiya bin Qurrah narrated that he had two paternal uncles. Both were present at the Tree (Companions of the Pledge) and both used to trim their mustaches and cut their nails every Friday. (b) It is narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the believer is in a state of Ihram every Friday, he does not shave his hair or cut his nails until the completion of the prayer. (c) It is narrated from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Muslim is in a state of Ihram on Friday, when he prays, it becomes permissible (to shave or cut nails).

(٥٩٦٥) (الف) معاویہ بن قرہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میرے دو چچا تھے۔ دونوں درخت کے پاس حاضر ہوئے (اصحاب الشجرہ) اور دونوں اپنی مونچھیں اور ناخن ہر جمعہ کاٹتے تھے۔ (ب) ابن عباس (رض) سے مرفوعاً منقول ہے کہ مومن ہر جمعہ محرم کی حالت میں ہوتا ہے، وہ نماز کی تکمیل تک نہ تو اپنے بال تراشتا ہے اور نہ ناخن کاٹتا ہے۔ (ج) ابن عمر (رض) سے مرفوعاً منقول ہے کہ مسلمان جمعہ کے دن محرم ہوتا ہے جب وہ نماز پڑھتا ہے تو حلال ہوجاتا ہے۔
(5965) (alif) Muawiya bin Qurrah farmate hain keh mere do chacha thay. Donon darakht ke pass hazir huye (Ashaab ush-Shajarah) aur donon apni moonchhen aur nakhun har jumma kaatte thay. (be) Ibn Abbas (RA) se marfoo'an manqoool hai keh momin har jumma muhrim ki halat mein hota hai, woh namaz ki takmeel tak na to apne baal tarashta hai aur na nakhun kaatta hai. (jeem) Ibn Umar (RA) se marfoo'an manqoool hai keh musalman jumma ke din muhrim hota hai jab woh namaz parhta hai to halal hojata hai.
