Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “While a man was driving a cow, he rode on it (when he got tired) and said, ‘We were not created for this, we were created for tilling.’ The people said, ‘Glory be to Allah! A cow speaks.’ The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ‘I believe it, and Abu Bakr and ‘Umar believe it too,’” although they were not present there. He (peace and blessings be upon him) then said, “A man was grazing his sheep when a wolf attacked and snatched a sheep. The shepherd pelted the wolf and got it back. The wolf said to the shepherd, ‘Who will graze the sheep when the beasts become predators on that Day (Day of Judgment)?’ The people said, ‘Glory be to Allah! A wolf speaks.’ He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ‘I believe it, and Abu Bakr and ‘Umar believe it too,’” although they were not present there. (Agreed upon)

ابوہریرہ ؓ رسول اللہ ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اس اثنا میں کہ ایک آدمی گائے ہانک رہا تھا ، جب وہ تھک جاتا تو وہ اس پر سوار ہو جاتا ، اس نے کہا : ہمیں اس لیے نہیں پیدا کیا گیا ، ہمیں تو کھیت جوتنے کے لیے پیدا کیا گیا ہے ، لوگوں نے کہا : سبحان اللہ : گائے کلام کرتی ہے ۔‘‘ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میں اس پر ایمان رکھتا ہوں ابوبکر اور عمر ؓ بھی اس پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں ۔‘‘ اور وہ دونوں اس وقت وہاں موجود نہیں تھے ، اور فرمایا :’’ ایک آدمی بکریاں چرا رہا تھا کہ بھیڑیے نے ایک بکری پر حملہ کیا اور اسے پکڑ لیا ، اس کے مالک نے اسے جا لیا اور اسے چھڑا لیا ، بھیڑیے نے اسے کہا : جس دن درندے ہی درندے رہ جائیں گے اور اس دن میرے سوا بکریوں کو چرانے والا کون ہو گا ؟ لوگوں نے کہا : سبحان اللہ ! بھیڑیا کلام کرتا ہے ۔‘‘ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میں اس پر ایمان رکھتا ہوں اور ابوبکر و عمر ؓ اس پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں ۔‘‘ اور وہ دونوں اس وقت وہاں موجود نہیں تھے ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Huraira RA Rasool Allah SAW se riwayat karte hain, Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Iss isna mein ke ek aadmi gae hank raha tha, jab wo thak jata to wo us par sawar ho jata, usne kaha: Hamein iss liye nahin paida kiya gaya, hamein to khet jotne ke liye paida kiya gaya hai, logon ne kaha: Subhan Allah: gae kalam karti hai.'' Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Main iss par iman rakhta hun, Abu Bakr aur Umar RA bhi iss par iman rakhte hain.'' Aur wo donon iss waqt wahan maujood nahin the, aur farmaya: ''Ek aadmi bakriyan chara raha tha ke bheriya ne ek bakri par hamla kiya aur use pakad liya, uske malik ne use ja liya aur use chhuda liya, bheriya ne use kaha: Jis din darinde hi darinde reh jayenge aur uss din mere siwa bakriyon ko charane wala kaun hoga? Logon ne kaha: Subhan Allah! bheriya kalam karta hai.'' Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Main iss par iman rakhta hun aur Abu Bakr o Umar RA iss par iman rakhte hain.'' Aur wo donon iss waqt wahan maujood nahin the. Mutaffiq Alaih.
Ibn Abbas narrated: "I was amongst the people who were praying for (the soul of) 'Umar while his body was lying on his deathbed, when suddenly a man put his elbow on my shoulder from behind and said, 'May Allah have mercy on him. I hope that Allah will join him with his two companions (in Paradise) for I often heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, 'I, Abu Bakr and 'Umar did such and such, I, Abu Bakr and 'Umar went such and such, and I, Abu Bakr and 'Umar entered such and such.' I turned and saw that it was 'Ali bin Abi Talib." (Agreed upon)

ابن عباس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں ان لوگوں میں کھڑا تھا جو عمر ؓ کے لیے دعائیں کر رہے تھے ، اور ان کا جنازہ ان کی چار پائی پر رکھا ہوا تھا ، کہ اچانک ایک آدمی نے میرے پیچھے سے اپنی کہنی میرے کندھوں پر رکھ دی ، اور وہ کہہ رہے تھے : اللہ آپ ؓ پر رحم فرمائے ، مجھے امید ہے کہ اللہ آپ کو آپ کے دونوں ساتھیوں کے ساتھ (دفن) کرائے گا ۔ کیونکہ میں اکثر رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا کرتا تھا :’’ میں ، ابوبکر اور عمر تھے ، میں ، ابوبکر اور عمر نے کلام کیا ، میں ، ابوبکر اور عمر گئے ، میں ، ابوبکر اور عمر داخل ہوئے ، میں ، ابوبکر اور عمر باہر نکلے ۔‘‘ میں نے جو مڑ کر دیکھا تو وہ علی بن ابی طالب ؓ تھے ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Ibn Abbas bayan karte hain, main un logon mein khara tha jo Umar ke liye duain kar rahe the, aur un ka janaza un ki charpai par rakha hua tha, keh achanak ek aadmi ne mere peeche se apni kahni mere kandhon par rakh di, aur woh keh rahe the: Allah aap par reham farmaye, mujhe umeed hai keh Allah aap ko aap ke donon saathiyon ke sath (dafan) karaye ga. Kyunke main aksar Rasul Allah farmate hue suna karta tha: ''Main, Abu Bakar aur Umar the, main, Abu Bakar aur Umar ne kalaam kiya, main, Abu Bakar aur Umar gaye, main, Abu Bakar aur Umar dakhil hue, main, Abu Bakar aur Umar bahar nikle.'' Maine jo mud kar dekha to woh Ali bin Abi Talib the. Muttafiq alaih.
Abu Sa'id Khudri narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The people of Paradise will look at the people of 'Illiyyin (the highest level of Paradise) just as you see a shining star in the horizon of the sky, and Abu Bakr and Umar are among them, and how excellent they are." Narrated in Sharh al-Sunnah, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah. [The chain of narration is weak. Narrated in Sharh al-Sunnah, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah.]

ابوسعید خدری ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جنت والے مقام علیین والوں کو اس طرح دیکھیں گے جس طرح تم آسمان کے افق میں چمک دار ستارے کو دیکھتے ہو ، اور ابوبکر و عمر انہی میں سے ہیں ، اور وہ کیا خوب ہیں ۔‘‘ شرح السنہ ، ابوداؤد ، ترمذی اور ابن ماجہ نے اسی طرح روایت کیا ہے ۔ سندہ ضعیف ، رواہ فی شرح السنہ و ابوداؤد و الترمذی و ابن ماجہ ۔
Abu Saeed Khudri RA se riwayat hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya: ''Jannat wale maqam Aileen walon ko iss tarah dekhenge jis tarah tum aasman ke ufq mein chamakdar sitare ko dekhte ho, aur Abubakar o Umar unhi mein se hain, aur wo kya khoob hain.'' Sharahus Sunnah, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi aur Ibn Majah ne isi tarah riwayat kiya hai. Sanad zaeef, riwayat fi Sharahus Sunnah wa Abu Dawood wa Tirmidhi wa Ibn Majah.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Abu Bakr and Umar are the chiefs of the old men of Paradise, of the first and the last, except for the Prophets and Messengers." [Hasan, narrated by Tirmidhi]

انس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ابوبکر اور عمر ؓ اہل جنت کے اولین و آخرین کے عمر رسیدہ لوگوں کے سردار ہوں گے البتہ انبیا ؑ اور رسول اس سے مستثنیٰ ہوں گے ۔‘‘ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Anas riwayat karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: “Abu Bakar aur Umar Jannat ke awwaleen-o-akhirīn ke umar raseedah logon ke sardar honge albatta anbiya aur Rasool is se mustasna honge." Hasan, Riwayat Tirmizi.
Hudhaifa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I do not know how long I will remain among you, so when I am gone then follow Abu Bakr and Umar.”

حذیفہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میں نہیں جانتا کہ میں تم میں کتنی دیر باقی رہوں گا ، میرے بعد تم ابوبکر اور عمر دونوں کی اقتدا کرنا ۔‘‘ حسن ، راہ الترمذی ۔
Huzaifa RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Main nahin janta ke main tum mein kitni dair baqi rahun ga, mere baad tum Abu Bakr aur Umar dono ki iqtida karna.'' Hasan, Raah al-Tirmidhi.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the mosque, no one would raise their head except Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). They would look at him and smile, and he would look at them and smile. Tirmidhi. (And they said): This hadith is gharib (strange). Its chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.

انس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ جب مسجد میں تشریف لاتے تو ابوبکر ؓ اور عمر ؓ کے سوا کوئی اپنا سر نہ اٹھاتا وہ دونوں آپ کی طرف دیکھ کر مسکراتے اور آپ ان دونوں کی طرف دیکھ کر مسکراتے تھے ۔ ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Anas bayan kartay hain, Rasool Allah jab masjid mein tashreef latay toh Abubakar aur Umar ke siwa koi apna sar na uthata woh donon aap ki taraf dekh kar muskuratay aur aap un donon ki taraf dekh kar muskuratay thay. Tirmidhi, aur unhon ne farmaya: yeh hadees ghareeb hai. Isnada zaeef, riwayat al-Tirmidhi.
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar that one day the Prophet (ﷺ) came out (of his house) and entered the mosque. One of Abu Bakr and Umar was on his right and one was on his left, and he was holding both of their hands. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "This is how we will be raised on the Day of Judgment." Tirmidhi, and he said: This hadith is gharib (strange). Its chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.

ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک روز نبی ﷺ (گھر سے) باہر نکلے اور مسجد میں داخل ہوئے ۔ اور ابوبکر و عمر ؓ میں سے ایک آپ کے دائیں طرف تھا اور ایک آپ کے بائیں طرف تھا ، آپ ان دونوں کے ہاتھ پکڑے ہوئے تھے ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ روز قیامت ہم اسی طرح اٹھائے جائیں گے ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ibn Umar se riwayat hai ke ek roz Nabi (ghar se) bahar nikle aur masjid mein dakhil huye. Aur Abu Bakr o Umar mein se ek aap ke dayen taraf tha aur ek aap ke bayen taraf tha, aap un donon ke hath pakre huye thay, aap ne farmaya: ''Roz qayamat hum isi tarah uthaye jayenge.'' Tirmidhi, aur unhon ne farmaya: yah hadees ghareeb hai. Isnadah zaeef, riwayat Al-Tirmidhi.
Abdullah bin Hanzab narrated that the Prophet ﷺ saw Abu Bakr and Umar, and said: "These two are (like) hearing and sight." Imam Tirmidhi narrated it as a mursal narration.
The chain of narration is weak, narrated by Tirmidhi.

عبداللہ بن حنطب ؒ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ابوبکر اور عمر ؓ کو دیکھا تو فرمایا :’’ یہ دونوں سمع و بصر (کی طرح) ہیں ۔‘‘ امام ترمذی نے اسے مرسل روایت کیا ہے ۔ سندہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abdullah bin Hantb se riwayat hai ke Nabi ne Abu Bakr aur Umar ko dekha to farmaya: "Ye donon sam o basar (ki tarah) hain." Imam Tirmidhi ne ise mursal riwayat kiya hai. Sanad zaeef, riwayat al-Tirmidhi.
Abu Saeed Khudri narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every Prophet has two ministers from the people of the heaven and two ministers from the people of the earth. My two ministers from the people of the heaven are Jibril and Mika'il, and from the people of the earth are Abu Bakr and Umar."
Its chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.

ابوسعید خدری ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ہر نبی کے آسمان والوں سے دو وزیر ہیں اور زمین والوں سے دو وزیر ہیں ۔ آسمان والوں سے میرے دو وزیر جبریل ؑ اور میکائیل ؑ ہیں ، اور زمین والوں میں سے ابوبکر اور عمر ہیں ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abu Saeed Khudri RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Har nabi ke aasman walon se do wazir hain aur zameen walon se do wazir hain. Aasman walon se mere do wazir Jibrail AS aur Mikaeel AS hain, aur zameen walon mein se Abubakar aur Umar hain.'' Isnaad-e-zaeef, riwayat-ut-Tirmizi.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Bakrah that a man said to the Messenger of Allah, "I saw (in a dream) as if a balance had descended from the sky, and you were weighed against Abu Bakr, and you were heavier. Then Abu Bakr and Umar were weighed, and Abu Bakr was heavier. Then Umar and Uthman were weighed, and Umar was heavier. Then the balance was lifted." This saddened the Messenger of Allah, i.e., (the dream) saddened him. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Prophethood is an indication of the Caliphate, then Allah will grant dominion to whomever He wills." (The chain of narration is weak, narrated by Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud).

ابوبکرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے عرض کیا ، میں نے (خواب میں) دیکھا کہ گویا ایک ترازو آسمان سے اترا ہے ، آپ ﷺ کا ابوبکر ؓ سے وزن کیا گیا تو آپ بھاری رہے ، ابوبکر ؓ اور عمر ؓ کا وزن کیا گیا تو ابوبکر ؓ بھاری رہے ، عمر ؓ اور عثمان ؓ کا وزن کیا گیا تو عمر ؓ بھاری رہے ، پھر ترازو اٹھا لی گئی ۔ اس سے رسول اللہ ﷺ غمگین ہوئے ، یعنی اس (خواب) نے آپ کو غمگین کر دیا ۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ نبوت کا خلافت کی جانب اشارہ ہے ، پھر اللہ جسے چاہے گا بادشاہت عطا فرمائے گا ۔‘‘ سندہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی و ابوداؤد ۔

It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A man from the people of Paradise will appear before you." Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came, then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A man from the people of Paradise will appear before you." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came. Tirmidhi, and they said: This hadith is gharib (strange). Its chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.

ابن مسعود ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اہل جنت میں سے ایک آدمی تمہارے پاس ظاہر ہو گا ۔‘‘ ابوبکر ؓ تشریف لائے ، پھر آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اہل جنت میں سے ایک آدمی تمہارے پاس ظاہر ہو گا ۔‘‘ عمر ؓ تشریف لائے ۔ ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ibn Masood se riwayat hai keh Nabi ne farmaya: “Ahl Jannat mein se aik aadmi tumhare pass zahir ho ga.” Abubakar tashreef laaye, phir Aap ne farmaya: “Ahl Jannat mein se aik aadmi tumhare pass zahir ho ga.” Umar tashreef laaye. Tirmizi, aur unhon ne farmaya: Ye hadees ghareeb hai. Isnaad zaeef, riwayat al-Tirmizi.
Aisha (RA) narrated: "One night, the head of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was in my lap, and it was a moonlit night. Suddenly, I said, 'O Messenger of Allah! Will anyone have as many good deeds as the stars in the sky?' He (PBUH) replied, 'Yes, Umar.' I asked, 'Where will the good deeds of Abu Bakr (RA) go?' He (PBUH) replied, 'All the good deeds of Umar are like a single good deed compared to the good deeds of Abu Bakr (RA).'" (Sunan al-Darimi)

عائشہ ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں چاندنی رات میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کا سر مبارک میری گود میں تھا کہ اچانک میں نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! کیا کسی شخص کی آسمان کے ستاروں کے برابر نیکیاں ہوں گی ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ہاں ، عمر ۔‘‘ میں نے عرض کیا ، ابوبکر ؓ کی نیکیاں کہاں گئیں ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ عمر کی ساری نیکیاں ، ابوبکر کی نیکیوں کے مقابلے میں ایک نیکی کی مانند ہیں ۔‘‘ اسنادہ موضوع ، رواہ رزین ۔
