Farwa bin Naufal Ashja'i reported, I asked, Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) in what words did Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) supplicate Allah? She said that he used to say, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I did and from the evil of what I did not.’
فروہ بن نوفل اشجعی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ بیان کرتے ہیں میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے سوال کیا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اللہ سے کون سی دعا کرتے تھے، انھوں نے جواب دیا، آپ یہ دعا کرتے تھے۔"اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ان اعمال کے شر سے جو میں نے کیے ہیں اور ان اعمال کے شر سے جو میں نے نہیں کیے ہیں۔"

"Aye Allah! Main teri panah chahta hoon un a'maal ke shar se jo main ne kiye hain aur un a'maal ke shar se jo main ne nahin kiye hain."
Farwa bin Naufal Ashja'i reported, I asked, Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) about the supplication that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) made. فروہ بن نوفل رحمۃ اللہ علیہ بیان کرتے ہیں، میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے ایسی دعا کے بارے میں دریافت کیا، جو آپ کیا کرتے تھے تو انہوں نے جواب دیا، آپ دعا کرتے تھے۔"اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ میں ہوں۔ ان اعمال کے شر سے جو میں نے کیے ہیں اور ان اعمال کے شر سے جو میں نے نہیں کیے ہیں۔"
Farwah bin Nawfal (Rahmatullah Alaih) bayan karte hain, maine Hazrat Aishah (Raziyallahu Anha) se aisi dua ke bare mein daryaft kiya, jo Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) kiya karte the toh unhone jawab diya, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) dua karte the. "Aye Allah! Main teri panah mein hoon. Un a'maal ke shar se jo main ne kiye hain aur un a'maal ke shar se jo main ne nahin kiye hain."
This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Muhammad bin ja'far through another chain of transmitters.
امام صاحب یہی روایت اپنے تین اساتذہ کی دو سندوں سے بیان کرتے ہیں اور محمد بن جعفر روایت میں "شَرمَالَم اَعمَلَ" سے پہلے "مِن" ہے (جبکہ اوپر کی روایت میں "مِن" نہیں ہے۔)
Imam Sahib yahi riwayat apne teen asatizah ki do sanadon se bayan karte hain aur Muhammad bin Ja'far riwayat mein "shar ma lam a'mal" se pehle "min" hai (jabke upar ki riwayat mein "min" nahin hai)."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی دعا میں یہ کلمات کہتے تھے۔"اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں، اس عمل کے شر سے جو میں نے کیا ہے اور اس عمل کے شر سے جو میں نے نہیں کیا ہے۔"
Hazrat Aishah (Raziyallahu Anha) se riwayat hai ki Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) apni dua mein yeh kalimaat kehte the. "Aye Allah! Main teri panah chahta hoon, is amal ke shar se jo main ne kiya hai aur is amal ke shar se jo main ne nahin kiya hai."
Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to say, ‘O Allah to You have I submitted, in You have I believed, upon You I have relied, to You have I turned in repentance, with Your help have I fought my adversaries. O Allah, I seek refuge in Your glory, there is no God but You from Your sending me astray, for You are the Ever Living Who does not die, but jinn and men die).
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دعا کیا کرتے تھے۔"اے اللہ! میں نے اپنے آپ کو تیرے سپرد کیا اور تجھ پر ایمان لایا اور تجھ پر ہی اعتماد کیا اور تیری ہی طرف رجوع کیا(گناہوں سے اطاعت کی طرف لوٹا) اور تیری ہی تو فیق واعانت سے (مخالفین سے) جھگڑا، اے اللہ! میں تیری ہی عزت و قدرت کی پناہ میں آیا اس سے کہ تو مجھے گم کردہ راہ کرے،تیرے سواکوئی الہ نہیں ہے تو ہی ایسا زندہ ہے جس پر موت نہیں ہے اور سب جن وانس مر جائیں گے۔"
Hazrat Ibn 'Abbas (Raziyallahu Anhuma) se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) dua kiya karte the. "Aye Allah! Main ne apne aap ko tere supurd kiya aur tujh par iman laya aur tujh par hi 'aitemad kiya aur teri hi taraf rujoo' kiya (gunahon se itaat ki taraf lauta) aur teri hi tawfeeq wa i'anat se (mukhalifeen se) jhagda, Aye Allah! Main teri hi 'izzat wa qudrat ki panah mein aaya is se ki tu mujhe gum kardah rah kare, tere siwa koi Ilah nahin hai tu hi aisa zindah hai jis par maut nahin hai aur sab jinn wa ins mar jayenge."
Abu Huraira (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) reported that when Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) set out on a journey and the time just before dawn came, he would say, let one who hears us convey our praise of Allah for His blessing upon us. Our Lord, accompany us and bestow Your Grace upon us. I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire)."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی عادت مبارکہ تھی، جب آپ سفر میں ہوتے اور سحری کا وقت ہو جاتا تو فرماتے۔" سننے والے نے سن لیا، اللہ کی حمد وثنا کو اور اس کی ہم پر بہترین عنایت و انعام کو، اے ہمارے رب! ہمارا ساتھی اور محافظ بن اور ہم پر زیادہ انعام فر اور ہم اللہ سے آگ سے پناہ چاہتے ہیں۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Raziyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ki Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki 'adat-e-mubarakah thi, jab Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) safar mein hote aur sehri ka waqt ho jaata toh farmate. "Sunne wale ne sun liya, Allah ki hamd wa sana ko aur us ki hum par behtareen inayat wa in'aam ko, Aye hamare Rabb! Hamara saathi aur muhafiz ban aur hum par zyada in'aam farma aur hum Allah se aag se panah chahte hain."
Abu Musa Ash'ari (رضي الله تعالی عنہ) reported on the authority of his father that Allah’s Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) used to supplicate in these words, ‘O Allah, forgive me my faults, my ignorance, my immoderation in my concerns. And You are better aware (of my affairs) than myself. O Allah, grant me forgiveness (of the faults which I committed) seriously or otherwise (and which I committed inadvertently and deliberately. All these (failings) are in me. O Allah, grant me forgiveness from the fault which I did in haste or deferred, which I committed in privacy or in public and You are better aware of (them) than myself. You are the First and the Last You have the power over all the things.’
حضرت ابو موسی اشعری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ دعا کیا کرتے تھے اے اللہ مجھے میری لغزشیں معاف کردے۔اور میری جہالت اور میرا میرے معاملات میں حد سے بڑھنا اور جس کو تو مجھ سے زیادہ جانتا ہے، ان سب کو بخش دے، اے میرے اللہ! جو کام میں نے سنجیدگی سے کیا ہواور جو میں نے دل لگی اور مذاق میں کیا ہےاور جو چوک اور قصدوارادہ سے کیا ہے ان سب کو معاف کردے، یہ سارے کام میں کر چکا ہوں، اے میرے اللہ! میری تقدیم و تاخیر یا میرے اگلے پچھلے قصور اور جو میں نے پوشیدہ طور پر کیے اور جو میں نے کھلے طور پر کیے اور جن کو تومجھ سے زیادہ جانتا ہے مجھے سب بخش دے تو ہی آگے بڑھا نے والا ہے۔(نیکی اطاعت یا درجات و مراتب کی طرف)اور توہی (توفیق سے محروم کر کے) پیچھے چھوڑنے والا ہے) اور تو ہر چیز پر پوری طرح قادر ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (Raziyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ki Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) yeh dua kiya karte the: "Aye Allah! Mujhe meri laghzishen ma'af karde. Aur meri jahalat aur mera mere ma'amalaat mein had se badhna aur jis ko tu mujh se zyada jaanta hai, un sab ko bakhsh de. Aye mere Allah! Jo kaam main ne sanjeedgi se kiya ho aur jo main ne dil lagi aur mazaaq mein kiya hai aur jo chook aur qasd wa iradah se kiya hai un sab ko ma'af karde, yeh saare kaam main kar chuka hoon. Aye mere Allah! Meri taqdeem wa ta'kheer ya mere agle pichle qasoor aur jo main ne posheeda taur par kiye aur jo main ne khule taur par kiye aur jin ko tu mujh se zyada jaanta hai mujhe sab bakhsh de. Tu hi aage badhane wala hai (neki itaat ya darajaat wa maratib ki taraf) aur tu hi (tawfeeq se mehroom kar ke) peeche chhodne wala hai) aur tu har cheez par poori tarah qadir hai."
Abu Huraira (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) reported that Allah's Apostle ( صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) used to supplicate (in these words), O Allah, set right for me my religion which is the safeguard of my affairs. And set right for me the affairs of my world wherein are my living. And set right for me my Hereafter on which depends my afterlife. And make the life for me (a source) of abundance for every good and make my death a source of comfort for me protecting me against every evil.’
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ فرمایا کرتے تھے۔"اے اللہ! میری دینی حالت درست فرمادے جس پر میری خیریت اور میرے تمام امور کی سلامتی کا مدار ہے اور میری دنیا بھی درست فرمادے۔ جس میں مجھے اپنی زندگی گزارنا ہے اور میری آخرت درست فر دے جہاں مجھے لوٹ کر جانا ہے اور میری زندگی کو میرے لیے ہر خیراور بھلائی میں اضا فہ اور زیادتی کا ذریعہ بنا دے اور موت کو میرے لیے ہر شرومصیبت سے راحت اور حفاظت کا وسیلہ بنا دے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Raziyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain. Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) yeh farmaya karte the. "Aye Allah! Meri deeni halat durust farma de jis par meri khairiyat aur mere tamam umoor ki salamati ka madar hai aur meri duniya bhi durust farma de. Jis mein mujhe apni zindagi guzarna hai aur meri akhirat durust farma de jahan mujhe laut kar jana hai aur meri zindagi ko mere liye har khair aur bhalai mein izafa aur ziyadati ka zariya bana de aur maut ko mere liye har shar wa musibat se rahat aur hifazat ka wasila bana de."
Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to supplicate (in these words), ‘O Allah I beg of You the right guidance, safeguard against evils, chastity and freedom from want.’
حضرت عبد اللہ (ابن مسعود) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں۔ آپ یہ دعا فرماتے تھے۔"اے اللہ! میں تجھی سے ہدایت اور تقوی پاکدامنی اور مخلوق سے بے نیازی مانگتا ہوں۔"
Hazrat Abdullah (Ibn Mas'ud) (Raziyallahu Anhu) Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se riwayat karte hain. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) yeh dua farmate the. "Aye Allah! Main tujhi se hidayat aur taqwa, pakdamani aur makhlooq se be niyazi mangta hoon."
This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Ishaq with the same chain of transmitters but with a slight variation of wording.
امام صاحب دو اور اساتذہ سے یہی روایت بیان کرتے ہیں۔ لیکن ابن مثنیٰ کی روایت میں عفاف کی جگہ عفت کا لفظ ہے، یعنی ناجائز اور نا مناسب چیزوں سے بازرہنا۔
Imam Sahib do aur asatizah se yahi riwayat bayan karte hain. Lekin Ibn Muthanna ki riwayat mein 'afaf' ki jagah 'iffat' ka lafz hai, ya'ni najayaz aur na munasib cheezon se baaz rehna.
Zaid bin Arqam reported, I am not going to say anything but only that which Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to say. He used to supplicate, O Allah, I seek refuge with You from helplessness, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, old age and the torment of the grave. O Allah, grant my soul piety and purify it, for You are the best to purify it, You are its Guardian and its Lord. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from knowledge that is not beneficial, a heart that is not humble (before You), a soul that is not satisfied and a prayer that is not answered.
حضرت زید بن راقم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں۔ میں تمھیں اس طرح بیان کرتا ہوں جس طرح رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے تھے۔آپ دعا کیا کرتے تھے۔"اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ لیتا ہوں کم ہمتی،بے بسی اور سستی،کاہلی اور بزدلی سے،بخیلی اور کنجوسی سے اور انتہائی درجہ کے بڑھاپے سے اور قبر کے عذاب سے اے میرے اللہ! میرے نفس کو تقوی عطا فر اور اس کو پاک صاف کردے تو ہی اس کا سب سے بہتر تزکیہ فرمانے والا ہے ہے تو ہی اس کا سر پرست اور کار ساز ہے اے میرے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ اس علم سے جو نافع نہ ہو اور ایسے دل سے جس میں عجز و فروتنی نہ ہو اور ایسے نفس سے جس کو سیری نہ ہو اور ایسی دعا سے جو قبول نہ ہو۔"
Hazrat Zayd bin Arqam (Raziyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain. Main tumhein is tarah bayan karta hoon jis tarah Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) farmate the. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) dua kiya karte the. "Aye Allah! Main teri panah leta hoon kam himmati, be basi aur susti, kahali aur buzdili se, bukhaili aur kunjoosi se aur intehai darjah ke budhape se aur qabr ke azab se. Aye mere Allah! Mere nafs ko taqwa ata farma aur us ko pak saaf karde tu hi is ka sab se behtar tazkiya farmane wala hai, tu hi is ka sar parast aur kaar saaz hai. Aye mere Allah! Main teri panah mangta hoon. Is ilm se jo naafe' na ho aur aise dil se jis mein 'ajz wa firootani na ho aur aise nafs se jis ko seeri na ho aur aisi dua se jo qabool na ho."
Abdullah bin Mas'ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that when it was evening Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to supplicate, we have reached the evening and the dominion belongs to Allah, and praise be to Allah, there is no God but Allah alone with no partner or associate." Al-Hasan (one of the narrators) said: "Az-Zubaid told me that he memorized it from Ibrahim as follows, ‘His is the dominion, to Him is praise and He has power over all things. 0 Allah, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what follows it. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of arrogance. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from torment in the Fire and torment in the Grave.’
حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ جب شام ہوئی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ دعا کرتے "شام اس حال میں ہو رہی ہے کہ ہم اور ساری کائنات اللہ ہی کے ہیں اور ساری حمدوستائش اللہ کے لیے ہے، اس کے سوا کوئی لائق بندگی نہیں، اس کا کوئی شریک ساجھی نہیں ہے۔"حسن کہتے ہیں،مجھے زبید رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے بتایا میں نے ابراہیم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ سے اس دعا میں یہ الفاظ بھی یاد کیے ہیں۔"اقتدار کا وہی مالک ہے، وہی حمدو ستائش کا حقدار ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے، اے میرےاللہ! میں اس آنے والی رات کی خیر کا تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اور میں اس آنے والی رات کے شر اور اس کے بعد کے شر سے تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں،اے اللہ!میں تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں،سستی اور کاہلی سے اور بڑھاپے کے برے اثرات سے اے اللہ! میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں، آگ کے عذاب ہےاور قبر کے عذاب سے۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (Raziyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ki jab shaam hui toh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) yeh dua karte, "Shaam is haal mein ho rahi hai ki hum aur saari kainat Allah hi ke hain aur saari hamd wa sitaish Allah ke liye hai, us ke siwa koi laiq-e-bandagi nahin, us ka koi shareek saajhi nahin hai." Hasan kehte hain, mujhe Zubayd (Rahmatullah Alaih) ne bataya main ne Ibrahim (Rahmatullah Alaih) se is dua mein yeh alfaaz bhi yaad kiye hain. "Iqtadar ka wahi malik hai, wahi hamd wa sitaish ka haqdar hai aur woh har cheez par qadir hai, Aye mere Allah! Main is aane wali raat ki khair ka tujh se sawal karta hoon aur main is aane wali raat ke shar aur us ke baad ke shar se teri panah mein aata hoon, Aye Allah! Main teri panah mein aata hoon, susti aur kahali se aur budhape ke bure asraat se, Aye Allah! Main panah mangta hoon, aag ke azab se aur qabr ke azab se."
Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that when it was evening Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to supplicate, we have reached the evening and the Dominion belongs to Allah, and praise be to Allah, there is no God but Allah alone with no partner or associate." He said, ‘I think he also said, His is the dominion, to Him is praise and He has power over all things. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what follows it. O Lord, I seek refuge with You from laziness and the evil of arrogance. O Lord, I seek refuge with You from torment in the Fire and torment in the grave.’ And when morning came, he would say that too, we have reached the morning and the Dominion belongs to Allah.’
حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود بیان کرتے ہیں۔کہ جب شام ہو جاتی، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دعا کرتے،"شام اس حال میں ہو رہی ہے کہ ہم اور اور ساری کائنات ہی اللہ کی ہے اور ساری حمدو ستائش اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے۔ اس کے سوا کوئی الہ نہیں ہے وہ یکتا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ہے۔"راوی کہتے ہیں۔ میرے خیال میں ان میں یہ کلمات بھی ہیں۔"راج اور ملک اس کا ہے وہ لائق حمدو ثنا ہے اور وہ ہر چیز قادر ہے اے میرے رب! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں، اس رات میں جو کچھ ہے، اس کی خیروبھلائی کا اور اس رات کے بعد کے حالات کی خیر کا اور میں تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں، اس رات میں جو کچھ ہونے والا ہے۔اس کے شر سے اور اس کے بعد کے حالات کے شر سے، اے میرے رب! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، سستی اور کاہلی سے اور کبرسنی کے برے اثرات سے، اے میرے رب! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں۔ آگ کے عذاب سے اور قبر کے عذاب سے۔"اور جب صبح ہو جاتی تو آپ ایک لفظ کی تبدیلی سے یوں دعا کرتے۔"ہماری صبح اس حال میں ہو رہی ہے کہ ہم اور ساری کائنات اللہ ہی کے ہیں۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud bayan karte hain. Ki jab shaam ho jaati, Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) dua karte, "Shaam is haal mein ho rahi hai ki hum aur saari kainat hi Allah ki hai aur saari hamd wa sitaish Allah hi ke liye hai. Us ke siwa koi Ilah nahin hai woh yakta hai, us ka koi shareek nahin hai." Rawi kehte hain. Mere khayal mein un mein yeh kalimaat bhi hain. "Raaj aur mulk us ka hai woh laiq-e-hamd wa sana hai aur woh har cheez qadir hai. Aye mere Rabb! Main tujh se sawal karta hoon, is raat mein jo kuch hai, us ki khair wa bhalai ka aur is raat ke baad ke halaat ki khair ka aur main teri panah mein aata hoon, is raat mein jo kuch hone wala hai. Us ke shar se aur us ke baad ke halaat ke shar se, Aye mere Rabb! Main teri panah mangta hoon, susti aur kahali se aur kibrasni ke bure asraat se, Aye mere Rabb! Main teri panah chahta hoon. Aag ke azab se aur qabr ke azab se." Aur jab subah ho jaati toh Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ek lafz ki tabdeeli se yun dua karte. "Hamari subah is haal mein ho rahi hai ki hum aur saari kainat Allah hi ke hain."
Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that when it was evening Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to supplicate, we have reached the evening and the dominion belongs to Allah, and praise is to Allah, there is no God but Allah alone with no partner or associate. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what is in it, and I seek refuge with You from the evil of this night and the evil of what is in it. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from laziness, old age and the evil of arrogance, and the trials of this world and the torment of the grave.’ Al-Hasan bin Ubaidullah said, Zubaid bin Ibrahim bin Suwaid added, from 'Abdur-Rahmân bin Yazid, from Abdullâh (رضئ الله تعالی عنہ) who attributed it to the Prophet (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم), ‘there is no God but Allah alone with no partner or associate. His is the dominion, to Him is praise and He has power over all things.’
حضرت عبد اللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ جب شام ہوتی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور میں عرض کرتے۔" یہ شام اس حال میں ہو رہی ہے کہ ہم اور ساری کائنات اللہ ہی کے ہیں اور حمدو شکر اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے۔ اس ایک کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہے اس کا کوئی شریک ساجھی نہیں ہے۔ اے اللہ!میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اس رات میں جو کچھ ہونے والا اس کی خیر کا اور اس رات کی خیر کا اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، اس رات میں جو کچھ ہونے والا ہے۔ اس کے شر سے، اے اللہ!میں تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں،کاہلی سے انتہائی بڑھاپے سے اور بڑی عمر کے برے اثرات سے اور دنیا کے ہر فتنہ سے اور قبر کے عذاب سے۔" حسن بن عبید اللہ بیان کرتے ہیں۔زبید نے ابراہیم سے اس روایت میں یہ اضافہ مجھے سنایا کہ آپ نے فرمایا: "اللہ کے سوا جو یکتا ہے، کوئی بندگی کے لائق نہیں، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، وہی اقتدارو بادشاہی کا مالک ہے، وہ حمدو ستائش کے سزا وار ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah (Raziyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ki jab shaam hoti toh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Allah Ta'ala ke huzoor mein arz karte. "Yeh shaam is haal mein ho rahi hai ki hum aur saari kainat Allah hi ke hain aur hamd wa shukr Allah hi ke liye hai. Is ek ke siwa koi Ma'bood nahin hai us ka koi shareek saajhi nahin hai. Aye Allah! Main tujh se sawal karta hoon is raat mein jo kuch hone wala hai us ki khair ka aur is raat ki khair ka aur main teri panah mangta hoon, is raat mein jo kuch hone wala hai. Us ke shar se, Aye Allah! Main teri panah mein aata hoon, kahali se intehai budhape se aur badi umar ke bure asraat se aur duniya ke har fitna se aur qabr ke azab se." Hasan bin Ubaidullah bayan karte hain. Zubayd ne Ibrahim se is riwayat mein yeh izafa mujhe sunaya ki Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Allah ke siwa jo yakta hai, koi bandagi ke laiq nahin, us ka koi shareek nahin, wahi iqtadar wa badshahi ka malik hai, woh hamd wa sitaish ke saza war hai aur woh har cheez par qadir hai."
This Hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) used to supplicate, ‘there is no god but Allah alone, He granted victory to His troops, supported His slave and defeated the confederates. He is alone and there is nothing after Him.
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ دعا کیا کرتے تھے۔" اللہ کے سوا کوئی بندگی کے لائق نہیں، وہ یکتا ہے، اس نے اپنے لشکر کو قوت بخشی اور اکیلا ہی تمام گروہوں پر غالب آگیا اور اپنے بندہ کی نصرت فرمائی۔ اس کے سوا کچھ نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Raziyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) yeh dua kiya karte the. "Allah ke siwa koi bandagi ke laiq nahin, woh yakta hai, us ne apne lashkar ko quwwat bakhshi aur akela hi tamam girohon par ghalib aa gaya aur apne banda ki nusrat farmai. Us ke siwa kuch nahin hai."
Ali (رضي الله تعالی عنہ) reported that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to him, say, ‘O Allah, direct me to the right path and make me adhere to the straight path,’ and when you make a mention of right guidance, keep in mind the right path and when you consider of the straight (path), keep in mind the straightness of the arrow.
حضرت علی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"یہ دعا کرو، اے اللہ! مجھے ہدایت دے اور سیدھا رکھ اور ہدایت کی دعا کے وقت،راستہ کی ہدایت کا استحضا رکرنا اور سداد کی دعا کے وقت تیرکے سیدھے ہونے کا خیال کرنا۔"
Hazrat Ali (Raziyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, mujhe Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Yeh dua karo, Aye Allah! Mujhe hidayat de aur seedha rakh aur hidayat ki dua ke waqt, raste ki hidayat ka istehzar karna aur sadad ki dua ke waqt teer ke seedhe hone ka khayal karna."
This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Asim b. Kulaib with the same chain of transmitters that Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) said to me, O Allah I ask You for guidance and steadfastness.’ Then he mentioned something similar (to Hadith # 103).
امام صاحب ایک دوسرے استاد سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"یہ دعا کرو۔ اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے ہدایت اور درستگی کی درخواست کرتا ہوں۔" پھر آگے مذکورہ بالا ٹکڑا بیان کیا۔
Imam Sahib ek doosre ustad se bayan karte hain ki mujhe Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Yeh dua karo. Aye Allah! Main tujh se hidayat aur durustagi ki darkhwast karta hoon." Phir aage mazkurah bala tukda bayan kiya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِدْرِيسَ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالسَّدَادَ " . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِهِ .
